DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY!! I have literally called this pharmacy 5 times to have nobody even answer the phone. I then called the front to be let down again..no help. Corporate get some more help in this store. Its obvious what the problem is as you read other reviews. Then CVS is trying to charge my ins co for covid SHOT. ITS FREE!! THIS COMPANY LOST MY BUSINESS! GREEDYWAKE UP CORPORATE AND ADDRESS ISSUES IN THIS STORE ESPECIALLY WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE
Never got through to a pharmacist. Listened to lots of promotional stuff about the vaccine and so on and was just put on hold. Based on others reviews I decided I couldnt depend on them to ever answer the phone, let alone fill my prescription in a timely manner.
Ive been to the pharmacy a few times and they are Understaffed, Overworked, and Underpaid. Its no wonder so many mistakes are made and the staff is rude. Ive seen them literally running around in circles because the young pharmacist is moving at the pace of a slug and will absolutely not talk to the staff.CVS... HIRE MORE PEOPLE! You have insane demand in venice and you decide to run your pharmacy with a inexperienced skeleton crew? The people in charge need to invest in their employees, not pad their wallets.
We were told on the phone that our prescription would be ready at 3:45 just to be sure we gave them an extra 2 HOURS and they still hadn’t done it and said it wouldn’t be ready for another hour!!! Even though they close in an hour!!! There are too many CVS stores and not enough staff they need to downsize because this is just ridiculous to take that long especially when we called ahead of time to make sure it was ready.
I had a simple, monthly RX that kept getting filled incorrectly in spite of the fact that notations were added to my account. Eventually, after 3 incidents where I showed up and the correct item wasnt filled or even in stock, I moved my RX elsewhere and was told that they must have been intentionally filling it incorrectly because the pharmacy I transferred it to could see the notations plain as day.I contracted covid and desperately needed an inhaler and cough medicine. I engaged in telehealth to avoid a hospital visit and had my RXs within the hour. Initially I had the RXs sent to Publix, but they were out of the cough medicine. Reluctantly, I reached out to this CVS since it was the closest to me with a drive thru and they had both meds in stock. I was told that the pharmacist was the only one who could retrieve my RX transfer from Publix but that he was busy doing vaccines. I left my information and that I needed both meds and she said she would pass it along so it could be filled. I waited nearly 2 hours and called to check in on the status so that I could make it there for pickup before they closed. It hadnt even been transferred yet and the person I spoke to had an attitude and hung up on me after saying that shed give it to him again. An hour after calling, I checked the app they insisted I download and only one of the two RXs was there and was sitting in process. I no longer had enough time to get there. The store closed without filling the one RX they bothered to retrieve and the Publix pharmacy closed as well, resulting in me having zero meds for a condition that will likely send me to the hospital next. Unacceptable. If you cant fill your prescriptions within an acceptable time frame when asked, dont take transfers. Or maybe dont have an attitude with the customer when the issue is clearly on your end.The problem is likely the head pharmacist. The staff is hit or miss but generally rude when your RX is wrong and probably because the head pharmacist is leaving a trail of inconsistencies that they have to deal with all day. With my previous RX I was blamed TWICE for not calling ahead to give them instructions. Instructions that were stated both on the RX itself AND popped up when it was pulled up in store (something confirmed to me by multiple employees at this location and otherwise). Why am I required to call you and tell you how to read directions when its your job to properly fill my RX based on what you see in front of you...? Sounds like someone there lacks accountability which is horrifying when their job requires them to be correct for safety purposes.Never using this place for prescriptions again. Youd have better luck trying to get your RX filled properly at the circus.
Ive never felt so invisible walking into a store. Its the closest to my house, so Ive gone many times. Every single time I am not acknowledged or anything.
This is the worst CVS . Bad service you can not reach the pharmacist by phone EVER . I was left on hold twice for over a half an Hour. They can’t seem to get your prescription straight. I got a different answer each time. Go somewhere else it is not worth your time. Very unhappy 🙁 with them.
I find pharmacy staff, extremely rude. I have called Pharmacy several times, and NEVER, and I mean NEVER, No one answers the phone. I had to get in my car and drive there to get to talk to anyone. WORSE PHARMACY EVER. Now I know why the Military changed our Parmacey to, Walgreens.from from CVS Parmacey
My mother who owns a home in Venice Florida, is a Florida resident and travels back and forth to Rhode Island attempted to fill her prescription. The pharmacist told her people who live here full time need that medicine, we cant fill itSo, basically the pharmacist, a women who was working on February 24th, 2021 around 7:45pm denied my mother a prescription she is in need of because she spends some of her time in another state. Maybe CVS should look into this. Seems like discrimination.
No gloves when handling pills! Wow
I like the self checkout. It is awesome!!!
We started using this CVS Pharmacy at the beginning of 2020 and have been very pleased with the in-store service we have received. The staff members are knowledgeable, helpful and are pleasant to deal with. Several times we have had prescriptions which required renewal or other attention. We were always called at home with the status and availability. We seldom experience any wait time, but if a line does form, another staff member comes over to help out. We would recommend this pharmacy.
Long wait. Rude staff
Very strange staff. When there is a problem with your prescription they want to blame you. It would be very easy to say that they are sorry that your prescription is not ready when it is supposed to be, but they seem to enjoy arguing. They rarely smile or make eye contact. Maybe they are mistreated by corporate and that is why all of the staff are so unhelpful and in bad. moods, but hey, there are too many pharmacys out there to put up with the attitudes at this CVS.
Everyone is Always helpful here. no matter if youre visiting the pharmacy or just doing some light shopping . I even have a CVS closer to my house that I refuse to go to. Keep up the good work
They literally never pick up the phone. Had Walgreens try to transfer prescriptions from them, they said they called 3 times and never could talk to someone so I couldnt get my prescriptions transferred. Whatever you do, do NOT use this CVS. Drive to the next closest one. This is the most poorly managed pharmacy Ive ever experienced in my life.
Always a bad experience with the pharmacy. They never answer the phone then you show up to get the prescription and you’re given bad attitudes. They are rude and act like you’re inconveniencing them. My prescription was sent hours ago and I came to pick it up (because no one answers the phone as usual) and was told to drive around so they can help the car behind me- which was the car that was JUST in front of me. They make you keep driving around when all the cars are doing the same. I don’t understand why you don’t help the person in line, seems like it would go faster rather than having 5 cars keep driving around.
Horribly rude manager.
Stopped in on our way to movies on a rainy Sunday. This is not our usual CVS. I went in for specific items that were buy one get one 50 off. Only found one box on the shelf that I needed so went and found an employee. I found Robyn who was busy filling the freezer goods. I asked her if I could get a rain check on an item since they only had one on shelf. She stopped and said yes of course but better she probably has some in the stockroom. Robyn returned with not one box but 4 extra ones. So impressed that she thought to refill the shelf with product while she retrieved one for me. You might think that’s what she should have done but having worked retail for over 30 years 1 out of 30 associates would have done that. She’s a keeper CVS. If I was still working as a retail manager I would have tried to recruit her instantly. Way to go Robyn 👏👏👏
Pharmacy staff needs to be replaced. It’s literally the worst customer service experience I’ve ever experienced, and not just once, but every single time I’ve went there. Switched pharmacies and so glad I did.
Shooed away! My sons pediatrician sent medications to CVS. We were told this location. We get there they lied and said there was no record of my sons prescriptions being sent to any CVS and they had access to a system of all CVS locations in the area. No record of it at any CVS location. I called my pediatrician emergency line frantic and ended up having to rush my 3 year old son to the E.R. because he was in respiratory distress as he shouldve had his meds by then and WOULD have if I was given the right information. His pediatrician was upset as well because we ended up in the E.R. My pediatrician tracked it down and my sons prescription was indeed processed by CVS and in their system. Why they said it was not I do not know.
Rudest pharmacy employees I’ve ever came in contact with. Me and my wife are always kind and patient with them and they are short and rude 100 percent of the time. The pharmacist isn’t much better. I’m not one to usually do this but it is a constant thing. I know people have bad days but it’s ridiculous. Pharmacist assistant said she would be back in 1 second, 10 minutes later she comes back to the window like I’m the inconvenience.
Been on hold an hour waiting to speak to someone. 30 minutes into the call someone answered and said theres a couple people ahead of me and theyll be with me when they can. Pretty sure they just forgot about me.
Worst And rudest servvice I have ever experienced in a Pharmacy.
Worst customer service. Manager is rude. Terrible experience.
Slow service with an attitude.
Typical CVS with good selection but not the best prices, conveniently located near the traffic circle
Great place friendly staff
THEY HAVE 4 PHARMACISTS BUT NOONE CAN ANSWER THE DAMN PHONE!
Had a coupon for 32% off. Not honored despite pointing out no sign indicating buy one get one. Not the first time this has happened. Bait & switch - a legal problem!
Their pharmacy is horrific. Nobody answers the phone and there is no other phone listed to call. Pharmacy does also have a problem with understanding how to fill prescriptions.
