Vickie, one of the pharmacists, was amazing. Not only was she willing to accommodate us getting our flu shots, but she was gentle and patient with my kids. I have always had a hard time finding a way to get my kids their flu shots, and this year was particularly difficult given family situations. Beyond grateful for our experience with her!
Forget Curbside. I am extremely upset. I am at very high risk for Covid due to autoimmune disorder. I ONLY shop curbside. I made a pick up order online submitted my payment information. I submitted the order and I received an email receipt. Later, when I got to the store, someone called me on my cell to say they could not process payment for the order. I went over the figures I received in the email, and they said I still owed $1.80. After discussion, I gave up and said fine, charge my card. Then they said I would have to come into the store to pay. I said I was not willing to risk my life to give them $1.80, especially when my card was already on file. (I had just used it to pick up a prescription at the drive up minutes earlier.) No, they said I had to go into the store. After I become very agitated and upset, they finally just brought my order out. PLEASE!!!! If you are going to have curbside pickup because of the pandemic, dont set it up so people have to go into the store. That makes no sense.
Waited an hr for scheduled covid shot for my son. Still didnt get paper work and walked out. Highly under staffed. Very pour service
10 minutes of automated run around on the phone only to then be put on hold for 10 more minutes only to then be hung up on. Poorly run nightmare place to deal with.
They have messed up almost every order for years. They were rotten to me! No campassion at all. When my blue cross blue shield no longer covered walgreens i did not know they stopped. They were horriblle to me treated me like i was a low life even though i have one of the best insurance. 24 hour cvs awesome right down the road still on talcotville in vernon. Im so happy my insurance dropped them cvs has been right on the money and thats big for a type1 diabetic. DONT USE THEM!
My experience was with the pharmacy, they were very friendly and helpful. When I got home I realized I had gotten a prescription I told them I didnt want filled and they were able to take it back and take care of it. Minus one star for the mistake but staff were very friendly and helpful besides that. Just make sure to check your receipt before you leave.
Patient and helpful staff
Very convenient. Used to love it when it was open 24 hours. Came in handy with sick kids. But there is another 24 hr drug store down the road.
Walgreens used to be my choice of around-the-clock convenience store. However, as of recently, theyre no longer a 24-7 location, to the dismay of many graveyard shift workers in the area. Regardless, they always carry a good stock of their usual product and have a nice assortment of goodies around the holidays. Walgreens has excellent sales now and then, although their prices are undoubtedly on the high side of the spectrum the rest of the time.
Pharmacy doesnt open at 7am it opens at a different time 9 am I believe. I have ran down a couple times to fill and RX but now I know. I think everyone I have talked to there is very nice and helpful.
Best Pharmacy Staff I have ever been taken care by, always helpful pleasant so helpful getting all my Rxs transferred to them. They care and it really shows. Frank Dagon
The store is not convenient to where I live. They often don’t have prescriptions in stock and I need to return multiple times before everything is ready. Always understaffed at the pharmacy counter, so there can be longer than usual wait times. My insurance recommends them as their first choice for prescriptions.
Horrible experience. Went to pick up prescription. Talked down to. Ignore. Long wait. Rushed. I asked questions told to look at paper but next person they explained everything to. Pharmacist didnt even tell me what Im picking up just said they are the same and we only have one. Which you want? The cashier threw my bags with the bottles in it across. Not placed. Not handed. Threw. Said bye. No have a good day. No nothing.
Been using this pharmacy for years and havent had an issue until the last year. Theres this one female pharmacist of Indian descent here who either hates me personally for some reason or is just an incredibly rude and unhappy person. They suddenly started only filling anywhere from 12-20 pills a month instead of the quantity of 30 that my doctor prescribed. I had to make two appointments with my doctor to tell him what was happening and address the issue, since this pharmacist was unwilling to call my doctor to clarify directly with him. I had to pay a total of $150 in copays to tell my doctor how to change the wording on his script so that I would receive the quantity of my medication that he wanted me to. Today I called to ask if they had received a prescription that I asked my doctor to call in several days ago. This woman abruptly told me they didnt get anything for me and to call my doctor back. She did this without asking my name, which medication Im calling about, etc. Again, I dont know if this woman is lazy, has poor English language skills and cant understand when I ask her questions, or is just plain rude and vindictive, and if this pharmacy were not within spitting distance of my house, I would have left a year ago when she took it upon herself to choose how much medication I should be taking. All other staff Ive interacted with have been polite, kind, and very helpful. Perhaps you could post this employees hours so I never have to speak with her on the phone or in person, because otherwise Ill just start driving somewhere totally out of my way to feel even a modicum of respect.
Great location. Very convenient.
With a herniated painful disc I was told I had to wait 1 1/2 hours for my pain meds.I used to go there. Not anymore. Off to cvs.
They refuse to stock new products!
