I see why the bulk of reviews are either one star or five star. The proprietor has wild mood swings. Went in the store and had a very pleasant, cordial conversation. He was very friendly, polite, and helpful. Later that day I called to follow up on something we had discussed and the owner went ballistic over the phone for absolutely no reason. I simply asked a question and, among other choice words, he screamed “I AM NOT INCOMPETENT. I HAVE BEEN DOING THIS THIRTY YEARS. I DON’T APPRECIATE YOUR GD CONSTANT BADGERING.” A very Dr. Jekyl / Mr. Hyde situation. It was especially strange since I just called and asked a question — did not insinuate incompetence and certainly was not badgering him (went in the store at 10AM, called him back at 5:30pm). I cancelled my pending transaction and plan to avoid this place. I suspect the owner is a diabetic who is not managing his glucose.

Store policy is no sales to out of state residents should say that on the website waste of time

I wouldnt pay this guy a $20 bill for his entire store. He was a miserable excuse of a human being with no decency to him. I would have to say this is the worst experience Ive ever had in a retail environment. Do yourself a favor and shop literally anywhere else.

I have never felt more comfortable buying a firearm.The gentleman was very understanding of my needs and paired me with my new sidearm which was less than other folks around town and even online transfer. On Target Shooting Supplies for the WIN! Definitely be back; just don’t call him sir.

Very overpriced. For example, I purchased a Walther PPS M2 handgun for $300 from another retailer; however, Target Shooting Supply had the same gun for almost twice that price. Everything in the store is priced significantly more to almost twice as much as it should be.My suggestion would be to either buy online, and have the firearm transferred if you want to save hundreds off of brick and mortar prices. Otherwise, you could drive 10-15 minutes away to Superior Pawn and Gun in Virginia Beach. Ive been to most gun stores in the Hampton Roads area, and Superior has the best customer service and the best prices. Their mark up is reasonable unlike all the other gun shops in the area...

I dont understand the bad reviews.. I called looking for some mini 30 magazines that no one else in the area stocked. He didnt have any in the store but had some at home in his personal collection that he brought in for me the next day. Was very friendly and gave me a great deal. I will definitely return the next time Im in the area. Thank you

Guys a scammer. Had a gun listed on his website, called to verify he had it, so I ordered it. I called the next day to arrange payment and he tells me that gun has been sold, but conveniently he has another just like, but wants more than twice as much for it. Scammer!

Walked in for some 5.45x39mm ammo, 30 rnd box for $14 ($.46/rnd) EXTREMELY OVER PRICED. Do not recommend for ammunition.
