Went in to look at some Japanese knives but wasnt sure which brand, and although I knew I wasnt ready to purchase, Claudia was amazing, accommodating and willing to share her wealth of knowledge with me. She seemed to know all the right features of each knife plus the back story on that cutting board that was on shark tank. So I bought that but no knives... yet. Love the way this store is setup, organized, and they had a few items on clearance that Im eyeing. Will be back for sure. #theresthatfoodie #homestuff
Has basically everything youd expect a W-S to have (and some things you dont). Really enjoyed talking to the staff to learn more about the different cookware and knives and figuring out which ones would be right for me. They were a big help (and fun to talk to), and I plan to be back at this store specifically when it comes time to buy!
Customer service was no the best. However checkout was speedy.
Even though this store has excellent displays and fully stocked shelves, a sales associate still went in the back to check for a few special requests I had. This store is much better than their catalogue or online presence! The sales associates were warm and helpful, and I never felt rushed or neglected. Great sales prices, too!
Very friendly as well as knowledgeable of their products. Jan was extremely helpful in explaining the Smart Oven (with light). It has a unique list of functions that it can undertake with only a twist of a dial. Amazing Technology!Of course, I bought it! Looking forward in becoming a GREAT CHEF with their appliances. This senior CITIZENS wont have to bond anymore to the old conventional ovens. Parking is a problem! Two hours or 15 minutes area is controlled! ( I like their store at La Promenade better, -- parking was very convenient).
Friendly and helpful. Beautiful store.
I usually love shopping in the store, but the last 2 times I was ignored and dismissed. I ended up buying online. It was clear that the attention was going to people perceived as big purchasers and registries. The experience was lackluster and frustrating. I hope this is a pandemic issue and not the new norm.
Beautiful, spacious store. Welcoming staff, helpful and friendly. Ordered online picked up in the store no problem and gift was already wrapped for free. Everyone I know would be excited to see that wrapping under the tree.
I don’t know how this company has stayed in business with such pompous staff and poor service.
Overpriced. Employees insult customers over radio when they think we cant hear them. Product quality varies greatly, and is often mediocre. Nice atmosphere, but thats about it.
Outstanding store. Staff was awesome. Highly recommend.
Great variety of cooking vessels and utensils.
Nicest location I have ever seen in the US. Only one of 12 in this super luxe, large format. Everything is here and displayed in an open and airy euro market style.
I love this store and the people were so helpful and friendly!
I love this store,it has everything you need to make your kitchen a dream kitchen! I am excited that there is a location at Town Center
Clerk was very pleasant
I have loved Williams Sonoma products for years. I typically shop the one at McArthur and previously the former Virginia Beach Laskin location. My kitchen is filled with various appliance and utensils from years of being loyal to the store. The shop is in upscale Town Center of Virginia Beach in a shiny new building. Williams Sonoma opened in July. Free street parking is offered directly outside their doors. Nearby garage parking is also offered free of charge. The walk up was clear of debris. The modern storefront looks sweet.I entered the store and was immediately greeted by Kelsey. No other customers were present on this mid morning visit. I loved the beautiful displays of a much larger store than its predecessor at the beach. High exposed ceilings with drop lighting provide a cool vibe to browse.I inquired about an insta pot I saw on sale. Kelsey had great information on its use and even classes offered in-house. The type of product knowledge and friendliness is a WS trademark. According to the sales associate the large area in the rear will bring in Williams Sonoma Home items. Look for this to occur in months.A value to customers are the services offered such as public cooking classes. A schedule is on their Facebook page and by flyer in the store to sign up. Other services are knife sharpening and even private cooking events. The cost range from no charge to small fee. They also offer in store samples which provide an opportunity to try before a purchase. I tried a new ooey gooey cake with cider that was yum!I did not make a purchase at the new store yet, but soon. I cant ignore the price point pushes, but I have always found the quality and customer service that they are know for is a reason to give them high praise.
Boring, had very little in simple daily items.
There are items to purchase I which I sit on
Overpriced.
