Ive been taking my car there for over 7yrs. They are fair and honest. They do very good work there. I especially like Taylor. He is very helpful and explains everything to me. I highly recommend this particular Firestone.

Great Automotive shop! Went here for an alignment with Firestone Chimney Hills recommendation because their alignment machine were down and made an appointment. Great place to get your tires. Fast service. They put 4 brand new tires on in 30 minutes. Extremely reasonable prices. They even found my tire key for me that the guys who previously repaired my car put in my door. Super nice guys. You have a new repeat customer!

Mark was super helpful this afternoon when I found a nail in my tire. They fixed the tire quickly and he explained everything to me after checking my other tires as well. Much appreciated the great customer service.

Awesome customer service. Gave them a call 2 hours before closing for an alignment and state inspection. Thankfully they were not too busy and fit me in. Took less time than expected. Additionally they were open the next day on a Sunday in which I got a tire mounted and balanced on my other vehicle. Was in and out in about 30 mins. Great place for minor car maintenance.

I have been using this location for quite some time. It began with tires and oil changes. Then a little over a year ago I had brought my 2008 Avalanche in because of a sway feeling. They replaced something in my rear-end. Sounded crazy but I said okay. Then I brought it back because I was still feeling the same thing. They replaced something else. My Avalanche never felt fixed! After taking it to AAMCO / Chesapeake, to the tune of nearly $5,000, the problem is motor mounts, stabilizer/ sway bar bushings, upper and lower control arms. Yeah, I dont think Firestone has knowledge to do anything except tires and oil changes.Another time, same vehicle, I was having battery problems. They told me my negative battery cable was loose. I took it to the auto part store down the street and the guy in there fixed it enough to get by. Again AAMCO find that it was actually a loose battery terminal post.Another time (plus two) I had taken the truck in because of a power steering fluid leak. They worked on it once, twice and the third time they worked on my truck for this same issue, I had enough to say that they didnt charge me. And Im not giving them props for this. Im saying this because it should have been fixed right the first time!So all-in-all these are not mechanics who work here. If youre looking for a mechanic, if youre looking to have work done on your vehicle, this is NOT the place to bring it!Ive spent thousands with this group. A waste of time and money!

Its rare to find a shop that wants to do you right. Stopped in today to discuss a mishap for a 4 wheel alignment versus 4 new wheels. Car had 2 new tires just put on and was dropped off for a 4 wheel alignment. After talking about putting the old ones back on as 2 were new and 2 were less than a year the guys thought they had the right tires back on. Short answer was that the back tire was not the same back tire. Store manager Dustin wanted to make it right and offered to replace the back 2 at no charge! Thank you Firestone! We have 6 cars in the family and all 6 go to you guys for alignments and this is why. Will continue to recommend you.

HEADLIGHT ALIGNMENTAligned my headlights, technician only did vertical and not horizontal, wanted an extra $69.99 for labor because my car (2008) was “special”. I refused service after telling me it would cost an additional $70. I watched the mechanic and I’m 90% sure he didn’t adjust anything vertically. Also had to wait 20 minutes for them to get my car in the shop from my 2pm “appointment”. Only recommend an oil change and state inspection from them. Call me Karen, but they were not friendly. 2 stars

Its the only place Ill take my car for auto repairs, tires and state inspection. Always friendly employees and reasonably priced. So good Ive been going to the General Booth shop since they opened. I recommend to my new hubby, and hes sold too on Firestone.

Went to this location last week after the one on First Colonial was too busy. I was in and out quick. I purchased a new tire, and got a tire valve replaced. I was glad to have a $20 off coupon and I put it all on my Firestone card, interest free for 6 months. I feel like I got much better clarification on what my car actually does and does not need repaired. They even encouraged me to return some parts I had bought from the Advance Auto Parts store that I was going to get installed by my mechanic on on Meinekes recommendation. They said I didnt need it. I wasnt taken advantage of, and wasnt pressured into getting anything else I did not want to. My car and I felt good after leaving.

Great deal. Honest mechanics, seem like good guys. Would/will go there again if needed.

The staff at the General Booth location were amazing! I must have called over several shops on Saturday to get in to repair my brakes. They went out on me earlier that morning, I was having severe difficulty on stopping. Taylor secured an appointment for me to come in at 3pm and they were finished by 5:23pm!! Absolutely friendly, knowledgeable and the bathroom was sparkling clean! :)There is also a Disabled American Veterans thrift store in the same lot if you were to wait for your vehicle to pass the time. I will never go anywhere else! They exceeded my expectations completely! Thank you so much for getting me in the same day and out so quickly and it was incredibly affordable!!

Taylor took our info over the phone. Crystal and the other lady who I believe was the manager (I forgot to get her name) were all super kind, knowledgeable, and sweet! The guys in service were super fast! Crystal helped us get applied for the credit card and told us about the on going sales/interest rates. We got oil change, complete car care, and 4 brand all terrain new tires. Very happy and we love coming to the General Booth BLVD by the DAV location!

As a female, Im always fearful of going to new auto places. Being fairly new to the area, we had not found a mechanic we trust yet. I was put at ease from the time I walked in to the time I picked up my car. My brake line collapsed, had brakes and brake pads replaced. Will recommend this place to anyone. Everything was explained thoroughly and I really appreciated their patience. Very thankful for the employees here!

These guys are great! I dropped my truck off for inspection Monday night and they had it done before 8am Tuesday. They’re helpful, friendly, and very professional.

My sons girlfriend was totally ripped off at this Firestone Complete Auto Care yesterday. ALL that she needed was to have her rear brake pads replaced. When they inspected the brakes they told her a piece fell off and her car was unsafe to drive...forcing her to have repairs done by them! The total bill came to $323.85!!! That includes their $60 discount on parts and $60 discount on labor. The organic brake pads came to $60 for REAR ONLY! Then they replaced her rear rotors, which did NOT need to be replaced! They charged $166 for two rotors and labor was over $100! It makes me sick that Firestone Complete Auto Care took advantage of a young girl and gouged her, overcharging for work that was not needed. Shame on you! What goes around comes around.

Im a customer for life. This team and the management are head and shoulders above their competition. I used to be in the Automobile business and its refreshing to deal with honest people and know the work will get done right the first time. They are cognizant of my time and they explain what theyve done in a way I can understand. Its a pleasure to have my car serviced here because they understand how to take care of the customer.

I absolutely love the staff and service at the General Booth Firestone. They are always so knowledgeable and although they offer services that I did not request, they never make me feel as though I have to take the service and they never make me feel like they are just trying to get more money out of me. Crystal, Ben, or Adrian can definitely help you keep your car running smooth!

Up front was very professional but once I got my car back from the inspection, i checked what I got failed for. So that I could fix it. On the way home the breaks have never been worse in my whole time of owning the car. Have to take them apart and figure out what the mechanic did wrong. The passenger wiper blade was also on the list and was brand new and had no defects. Im assuming an upcharge common with mechanic shops.Would not recommend them for state inspections what so ever.

Theyre quick and professional. The staff is pleasant and they have a nice waiting area. You can believe them when they tell you that you need something done. They dont try to take advantage of you. My family has been using this Firestone since it opened. Its definitely not the closest place for us but we trust them to do the job right and bill us fairly.

The customer service definitely deserves 5 stars! I dropped my car off this morning for an inspection and tire replacement and the staff was so friendly from the second I walked in. When they realized I was gonna be walking home, they even offered me a ride and drove me home. That was such a kind gesture that really went a long way. Will definitely be coming back and recommend them to all!

Honest, hardworking, and knowledgeable staff. Excellent customer service experience, something you don’t find in the automotive industry a whole lot. Willing to work with you on price of repairs and they even offer financing for repairs if what you need isn’t in the budget.

Poor very poor. Ive been taking my vehicles here for years, the service has dropped over the past year to a point that’s unacceptable. Over the summer they messed up my wife and I (2 cars) oil change both by not resetting the “oil life gauge” and not fully installing the drain plug. The drain plug was fixed after a load of “mess” both figuratively and literally l. Now the “up charge”. An inspection turns into a way for them to make a quick buck. Shady, to secure a battery is $50, 5 minutes of work, not even, as I changed the battery my self, and yes I didn’t secure properly. That’s on me, but to take advantage of a loyal customer......come on.

I love this place. I go here for anything I need for my car. They are always super helpful and nice and do exactly what should be done and dont try to sell me more like with other places.

I have been taking my cars there for 4 years. I have always thought the service was very good. They have a newish manager and she is incredible. Just went in yesterday to get a flat repaired. It turned out to be a sidewall puncture so now I have to buy a new tire. They found me a sale, suggested I use the full spare so the tires would be perfectly matched, and got me through very quickly, because I hadnt planned for a ride. I was reminded why I always go to these great folks.

The staff at this Firestone in particular is beyond amazing. They always remember me, treat me as if family, and know what they are talking about. Special shout-out to Adrian who is there literally every time I come in. He is so sweet and kind and truly cares about people. I will definitely miss him and this place when I move away. Also thank you to the manager Sara who helped me deal with the Dodge Dealership and issues I had with them. Thanks again:)

Took our car in to get the alignment checked after replacing the tie rods. They did the initial check and promptly told us that the guy we had put the tie rods in was spot on and the car needed no alignment. They knocked it down from an alignment to a check, saving us a bunch of money, and got us on our way. So refreshing to find a place more concerned with their customers needs than making a buck on unnecessary procedures, especially in a world where places try to charge you $100+ to change out two air filters! Thanks a bunch guys!

My go to place for all 3 vehicles for issues like alignments, balancing, vehicle assessment. Great customer service. Always help me find a coupon. Get me right in when schedule tight. A little gem on south end of VB compared to all the other tire joints around there that will screw you over.

They changed all four tires and my oil in an hour!!! The associate pulled out every stop he could to discount everything and I couldnt find a comparable deal in town. Always bring my truck here. Always great service!!!

I came here a few months ago and the customer service was horrible!!! This is the most juvenile, immature place I have ever visited, I ended up going to NTB. Please do better.

This place is a complete rip-off. They upcharge everything so badly it should be criminal. I came in and told them the upstream O2 sensor was bad, and they still said they had to run diagnostics for $150 to tell me the upstream O2 sensor was bad. I also had an electrical issue with my headlights that they couldnt figure out but wanted to further diagnose at my cost. They charge more than dealerships for worse service. All toll, to take the headlight housing off to look at them, they wanted to charge me just shy of $1000 with replacing my O2 sensor. 2 hours of work somehow became $1000, and there wasnt anyone there worth that amount. Overall, it was a scam. I had to come back on a Tuesday when I went there on a Saturday to have an electrical guy look at it. Complete bs. I wont be back, ever.

Got my Jeep Renegade inspected with no upsell. Had a questionable issue, nothing found but they assured the performed due diligence in looking, if further investigation is needed they welcome the opportunity to figure it out. Will return.

Had a slow leak in one tire, brought it in to see what they would charge to diagnose. They told me they only charge if they can fix it, otherwise, its complimentary. The mechanic who was slated to do the work asked to look at the vehicle first before starting. With performance rims on my car, he explained that he would recommend a performance rim location take the tire off, as this Firestone did not have the proper equipment to ensure no damage or scratches took place. I appreciated his honesty, and will probably do business here again in the near future.

They were quick to assess and contact me back on my overnight drop off after a hurricane weekend. Although my car actually broke down before the storm, I was terrified that the hundreds of disables vehicles from the storm wouldve made my chances of getting the car back in a timely fashion slim to none. Not at this Firestone. The repair was reasonable, and I was able to pick it up the next day. Unfortunately, about 20 minutes of driving right after I picked it up, the exact problem manifested itself with the vehicle again. I called in the morning, and they were more than happy to make it right. They paid to have my vehicle towed back to them from across town and were relentless in identifying the underlying issue the second time around. I didnt pay a single additional penny, and got the car back only after they thoroughly test drove it themselves to be comfortable that the vehicle was in fact fixed. I have never had a car shops as eager to make it right (and I have had at least one similar incident in the past with another shop). Cant thank them enough.

My fist time going there I was surprised that how fast the service I got there. And they where very kind all of them fix all my problems the money I spend was very reasonable. I highly recommend going there.

I went there to get a tire patched. Shortly after leaving my tire pressure indicator popped on. I stopped to check it and found that not only did they not properly inflate the same tire they were working on, but they also didnt put the cap back on the stem. Now I have pay to inflate it, and buy a new cap. Not at all pleased. Also...their full synthetic oil change was nearly $30 more than it would have been at Wal-Mart.

I only gave one star because it wasnt an option to give none. We were given 3 different prices and ended up spending $151 5 HOURS waiting for them to just mount ONE the tire. THEN my boyfriend had to put the tire on himself in the parking lot. Absolutely ridiculously. They took advantage of us in an emergency situation and I will NEVER go back.

Was gonna go to jiffy lube but broke down close by, they helped me push it all the way to the shop, fixed it the same day even though they were about to get off of shift, and it’s run perfect since. Cannot recommend then enough

I have brought two vehicles there on three different occasions and each time was met with a happy greeting, knowledgeable staff, good service, and a timely return of my vehicle. I have been very pleased with each visit.

Manager Ashley refused to accept responsibility for 2 broken valve stems caused by their cheap metal caps they installed on our Tacoma. She was very condescending and said my insinuating the parts they used mightve caused our issue was frankly absurd --her words exactly. Not very empathetic to a customer with 2 flat tires. First she said they see it all the time, then asked if we drive a lot in snow or maybe cross-threaded them. Why Firestone takes off perfectly good FACTORY plastic valve caps and puts on cheap metal ones that corrode and seize is ridiculous! Never again!

Need a wheel stud replaced and came in for a quote. I did a google search and it said to except $90-150. I was quoted $500 for 3.5hrs of labor because the “wheel hub needed to removed.” I left the store, YouTubed a video and did it myself. Less than $10 in parts and 45mins. The rear hub did not need to be removed.

Went in for an alignment, was told I needed a tie rod replaced and it would be $300. My boyfriend gets on the phone with the technician and it is now only $200. The price was more because I was female??? If I hadnt been heading out of town that day, I wouldve left.

Very friendly workers but unknowledgeable with Tesla wheel alignments. Did confirm with Tesla Tech that a Hunter Alignment machine can be used on my car. Maybe the tech was lazy to reach up to untighting bolts? Glad I didnt get it done here. The owner should get yearly training on new car specs for their employees.

Well... I live in Newport news and my vehicle decided that it wanted to loose coolant through a hose and over heat in Va. Beach..... the guy suggested a diagnostics to find out what the problem is and it was not even added into the repair... which to me seems like two charges for one problem ..not really too fair to me... but hey... I called on Saturday afternoon, Sept 5th, and talked to Sarah about getting a state vehicle inspection and was told that there were a number of people in line already and they likely wouldnt be able to get to my car that day. No problem, so I hung up. I called back about five minutes later and asked if they would be able to do inspections on Sunday, Sept 6th, Sarah told me no problem, they open at 9:00am. I arrived at 8:45, was the first customer of the day talked to Sarah about getting the state inspection done and she told me that they would try to get to it today, that there were, like 20 people in line ahead of me. I said, how can that be, you told me you dont take appointments for inspections? Sarah told me that the other customers left their cars over night, that, had I called she would have told me that. I said I did call, twice as a matter of fact. I got the standard management shrug of the shoulders and a simple, sorry about that. Leaving your car one day to get work completed on another day is an appointment.It should have been obvious to Sarah from our two separate conversations that I was interested in getting an inspection done and she should have offered me the option to leave my car Saturday evening, apparently like 20 other people did even though they dont set appointments for vehicle inspections.

Prompt good service fair pricing set an appointment for even faster service.
