One of the best places to come and find unique meats. The butcher is well verse in his products. He is also good for making suggestions for events. In addition if you have a problem; he can give you solutions, recommendations, and portion sizes.

The staff is great and accommodating. You are treated like family from when you enter to when you leave. If you dont see what you want, ask. Theres a good chance they will cut it fresh and just the way you like your steaks, roasts or whatever you want. They also cary some exotic meats like ostrich and kangaroo as well as game like venison. Simply saying, they are the best.

I love coming here. Always great customer service and great, fresh, grade A meat. If you are looking for fresh ground chuck, hot dogs, home made meatballs, steak you are at the right place. They even have a freezer with bones for soup or your dog. The price is very reasonable.

Great butcher shop. Got the family pack for 3. And its lasted over 2 weeks for 2 people, with leftovers. The bacon is amazzziinnngggg. Love me some bacon! Next time will be buying extra bacon. Even though it did come with a lot. The meat is great quality. A little bit of a drive for me. But not a big deal if im only heading there every 2 1/2 weeks. The location is nice too. Because you can hit the farmers market up for some produce and get some ice cream a couple doors down! I included pictures of some of the meat cooked. All turned out delish! Will be ordering more meat soon!

Its an awesome place for quality meat. It could be because I am. Transplanted Pittsburgher but, the atmosphere is very welcoming (They have an original Myron Cope Terrible Towel on their wall as I had back in the day before my mom threw it out when I went to college).I really appreciated from my very first visit is the butcher there knew to give a customer what they asked for. Each time Ive asked for a 1-1/2 thick porterhouse, that is what I got. Not an inch or a bit over an inch as I got at another butcher shop, but exactly what I wanted. I highly recommend the Country Butcher Shop!

Maybe biased as I worked with John when he was cutting meat at Farm Fresh, but this is hands down one of the best, if not the best places to buy your fresh meats. Quality service.

This is the third time in 10 days that Ive gone to them! Every time they are so amazingly friendly and helpful. The prices are unbeatable, especially for the quality. I was so skeptical about moving to VB just because everything seemed so commercialized. But this a genuine family butcher shop with that individualized service every time.

This butcher shop is located in the Virginia Beach Farmers Market. There is plenty of parking nearby. We love to get our prime filets from here. We call and pre-order when they have them in stock and then go pick them up. They are always friendly when we stop in. They have prime and choice meat. Meat is fresh. Their products include filet mignon, other steaks, bacon, sausage, hamburger, alligator, beef jerky/sticks, fresh mozzarella, rubs, spices, sauce, etc. Go to this butcher, if you have a chance, they have great prices too.

Great Guys working there but,steaks are pretty pricey. Nice selection of meats and sausages and what not.

This was our first visit here and can I just say we will be back again and again.! Cant wait till next weekend to get some more things to try! Glad we stumbled across this place.

My boyfriend and I get their two-person family pack. Its a great deal for a lot of good quality meat and plenty of variety. Our last package took us two and a half weeks to eat - not bad for two people under sixty bucks! And all of it was delicious. Even the simpler items like the sausage and frankfurters had great taste and seasoning. We were especially impressed by the tenderness of the stew meat. Last time we used it to make vegetable soup, but this week were going to try shish-ka-bobs.I definitely recommend this shop to anyone who wants great meat for a fair price.
