I had quite a few forms of gold and silver that I needed to liquidate from my parents estate. Over the past three years Ive dealt with many from pawn shops to gold buyers to antique dealers in taking care of this. The last item was a very large number of silver collectible coins, which research had taught me over the years were only worth their melt value, along with a few US coins. When the price of silver finally went up it was time to take care of this last detail. Wish Id found Beach Gold Assay from the start as they not only gave me the best prices by far of the other reputable dealers Id worked with, but they also took the most time in going through my collection, double checking on pieces to be sure that melt was the best option and sometimes sharing where I might get an even better price if I wanted to try selling a particular coin myself. While I was there I overheard them give prices to other customers they would pay and then suggesting other places the customer could look to see if they could get a better deal. Angie and Charlie were patient, and thorough making it easy to understand what offer they were making. That said, its always wise to do your research first to know as much as you can about what you are taking to sell, but again--if I could do it all again, Id have taken everything to Beach Gold Assay to sell. I dont remember the gentlemans name that serviced me, but I was quite nervous about selling my 22 inch 14k gold necklace and 14k key pendant. He made me feel very comfortable and asked my permission to test my items (right in front of me). He made me a way better offer than any pawn shop would be willing to buy for. My visit to this store far surpassed my expectations. A wonderful small family owned business. I met with Angie who is very knowledgeable, personable, and takes all the time needed with her customers. I needed to sell some jewelry; if this is your situation, look NO FURTHER!!! I have gone to actual pawn shops who are highly advertised and rated as well as a fairly well known jeweler; neither of these places even came close to what Angie offered. And Im talking about being offered about 50% more. Please, dont waste your time elsewhere unless you just want to validate what Im telling you.

Very cool place, smart guy with zero attitude issues. Its always annoying to people who have gold and silver that people treat them as potential thieves. Once somebody has to talk to the manager instead of just ask for information Im too mad to give them information. This guy is just a very nice professional, there are chairs, so the atmosphere is like you are waiting for an accountant. He seems like an accountant. I had some gold jewelry I was never going to wear. I tried to sell it at a pawn shop, but I couldnt even bring myself to ask about it after walking past the guns and the adult DVDs.I drove by Beach Gold Assay, and thought I would give it a shot. SO REFRESHING. The staff knows what theyre doing, and I was glad to get rid of that rope chain I was never going to wear. Best of all, I didnt feel like a criminal!If you have some gold youd like to sell, this is the place to do it.

For buyers maybe ok, but for sellers, do not sell your physical metals here. They said their policy is to buy physical bullion at 90% of spot price, even .999 fine with serial #s. For 5 minutes more research and maybe 15 minutes more driving you can find folks that will buy at spot. Theyre not even worth the time to negotiate. Id have to be desperate before selling here.
