Stopped by at 8p on a Friday. Place was packed. Non-stop traffic, 15 minutes wait to order. Staff was courteous and helpful. All four were working hard to get customers quickly through the line. Ordered the coffee ice cream special. Very good. Enjoyed the visit.

After the people in the area whining about the mask mandates, this business didnt have any customers wearing masks on a busy evening this past week. This is not uncommon in the area, but other businesses have a sign that says the CDC recommends everyone to wear a mask regardless of vaccination status. Above the whole mask debate, the workers had no gloves on! Am I missing something? Why is it ok to touch peoples money and credit cards and a cash register then proceed to scoop ice cream and sprinkle mix ins with the same hands? Lets face it, there are several illnesses in addition to Covid that can be transmitted. I feel the company, which is a chain not a local Mom & Pops place, can afford to pay for gloves for their workers and insist they be worn properly.

I went through on my way back to Alabama and the girls working there were all so kind and helpful! My ice cream was delicious! The other reviews talk about the girls being impolite and not having social skills, Id say quite the opposite considering theyre teenagers and this is probably their first ever job. Anyways the ice cream was delicious and the staff was helpful, my family and I really enjoyed it!

Loved this cold stone very much! It was friendly and overall great customer service, we had a dog and I loves that they gave a pop cup for our fellow dogs! This was a amazing cold stone and I’ll be looking forward to drive six hours to come here again!

I recently visited this establishment with my son and daughter and they loved it. I’m a father of two kids so I feel for the girls who work here. My wife and I were just talking about how the staff here are treated. It’s a shame, honestly. I’ve just recently starting visiting on a more regular basis, and more often then not I see people getting upset that their order is taking too long or for some reason about their mask policy. This isn’t a new rule, and it certainly isn’t being enforced at this coldstone just because they want to be screamed at by their customers. Every time I’ve visited this establishment the staff are friendly and helpful. Rarely do they make mistakes, and if it is it might be a forgotten cone or lid which they fix immediately. I feel like a lot of these reviews are from people who are looking to complain. It’s a busy store and I’m sure most of the girls there are at their first or second job. I would hate if my kids were being treated in such a manner. I highly recommend this establishment, and I recommend to ignore the unfriendly reviews as well because I can almost guarantee those being negative are the same people who refuse to wear a mask and have little to no patience.

I have been coming in for the past few weeks because I am new to the area and it’s always the same few girls working and they are absolutely lovely. I try to try something new each time and they are always patient and helpful with recommendations. The establishment is always clean and they take masks very seriously which I appreciate. I have never had any issues coming here and they will continue to get my business and support. Thank you.

Came in on the 19th to two lovely flirty kids behind the counter. Good service and yummy ice cream. Boo batter makes you poo!! Be careful. Did not ask there names but they cracked me up. This location has improved recently im not sure why but its good news.

I went in to cold stone earlier today and let me tell you, the service was amazing . One of the polite girls working there i think her name was maddie. she just brighten up my day with how kind she was . i would definitely recommend this to all my mom friends . 10/10

Couldnt be more happy with my visit to cold stone. My husband and daughter went the other day and despite them being fairly busy, they made sure to greet us with a warm smile and respect. It saddens me the way these customers treat the employees! Theyre just teenagers and definitely dont deserve rudeness for no good reason! I saw with my own two eyes a man get upset because his very complex order took more than 5 minutes to finish. What do you expect when you come in during a busy time with 6 people :( With that being said, I definitely recommend this place to all and not to listen to these poor reviews!!Also, the girl behind the counter (I believe she said her name was Maddie) was quite frankly the sweetest girl and I tipped her a little extra!!

FYI to the owners and employees... you CANNOT refuse to serve patrons regardless if you are privately owned because you want to enforce a mask mandate (that is no longer in place BTW) and MOST DEFINITELY you CANNOT request people to show a vaccination ID... it’s against HIPPA law, our CIVIL RIGHTS and clear discrimination! So unless you want to get sued personally and as a business you may want to educate yourself and your employees because ignorance of the law is not an excuse!Fact: An unvaccinated child is still safer than a vaccinated adult & has been proven for OVER A YEAR! If you or your staff are vaccinated you are protected per CDC guidelines or why would you get vaccinated? Also, those who’ve had COVID/Flu have herd immunity which is greater than the vaccine! So it’s helpful if you actually gain knowledge before pushing your agenda onto the public!Patrons, We have a choice to not allow companies to discriminate against those w health problems, who cannot wear masks or choose not to wear them, let alone children who have been documented to NOT spread Covid!!! Totally absurd!

If I could give zero stars I would. Absolute disgrace of a staff working from behind the counter - young (probably high school) girls with zero customer service or social skills. You all had two jobs - talk to customers in a friendly and inviting manner and put toppings into ice cream and mix it, yet you could not even manage this due to social media-induced frontal lobe atrophy.My recommendation is to bring your service elsewhere and do not give money to these people unless you enjoy 16 years olds who think they have power because they are wearing a cold stone t-shirt.EDIT: The positive reviews spammed after this and other truthful negative reviews are obviously family members or friends of staff. Take them with a grain of salt. Think for yourself.

We were in town for vacation and this is far most the worst ice cream location of Cold Stone that we have ever been in.Let me start off by saying that you should screen your employees to be friendly and not allow rude and uptight teens to run your establishment. The guy was kind and polite!!!We spent over $75 and was still treated less than I hope this location changes

Great store overall, the ice cream was a little pricey but the girls working were lovely.

Went in on March 12th and the three girls were very nice, and were moving very fast through the rush they had. Some people were so rude to them and they took it very well with excpetional manners back. My peanut butter cup perfection was perfectly made. I highly reccomend.

My family and I came in March 10th around 5pm. I would give more than 1 star if I even had a chance to order the ice cream. There were three girls who were not very inviting. We weren’t even greeted. We told them that we needed a couple minutes to look over the menu, they didn’t even respond. After feeling pressured to hurry and order, we kindly told them we were ready. The little girl gave us this empty look, ignores us to turn around to chat with her co worker. I guess I had high hopes for a place ran by high schoolers.

I went to this establishment today in order to try a different icecream with my kids. Went in and my mask failed to cover my nose, so she told me to pull it up. My kid did not have a mask on and i fail to believe that if there was a virus that it could discriminate against age and with this being the most deadliest virus it is hilarious that the two serving me are wearing daisy duke shorts and short sleeve shorts. Makes no sense. So then the girl making the ice cream uses her ungloved hands to pull her bacteria filled cotton mask back over her nose and the she proceeds to make icecream by hand. Well that was it, I had to leave. I dont believe cotton stops anything but I do believe it collects moisture and bacteria one is breathing out, so I will take my business to a more reasonable establishment.

My family and I have purchased normal ice cream and shakes from here for years, but this year I ordered my husbands birthday cake and WOW. I think we will continue to get ice cream cakes because not only was is delicious but it was so professionally and neatly decorated. The staff is always friendly and fast.

This is my absolute favorite place to go after a long day . im always greeted by the same couple of girls and they’re beyond nice . the best customer service I’ve ever had . THEY NEED A RAISE .. they are always so patient and even recommend things too me when I can’t decide . i will recommend this place time and time again . it doesn’t get any better than this .

Two stars only because I love the ice cream! The girls working tonight, 9 Dec, 2020, dont know how to answer the phone but they were slow and lazy. My wife went in placed her order then went to dominos, hoping the ice cream would be ready. SURPRISE! The girls were not only talking but had not even started the ice cream!

Called and ordered a special cake for Valentines Day. Dustin answered and was very helpful with helping me create my vision for this cake. I got a red velvet cake with sweet cream, chocolate ice cream, and dark chocolate shavings. BEST CAKE EVER!!! I was amazed at how lovely the cake was made and decorated. Outside of my cake order, Ive been into this location several times. This location is my favorite as it is the cleanest and friendliest location in the area. Macon, Dustin, or Jake normally help me out when I come in. Theyre all super helpful when I cant make up my mind on what flavor I want. They always give the best suggestions and make my ice cream with a smile! Super kind and helpful staff! Ill be back for sure!

This by far was the best ice cream I have ever had. My two children, husband, and I went and it was very nice and the two employees were super friendly. I got the coffee ice cream and the taste was amazing!! I think we found our new go to ice cream shop!

Placed an order for a cake & accidentally clicked the wrong flavor. I called the store right away & spoke with Dustin. He said he would be able to switch the flavor & it was no problem. He also said that the picture of the company logo that I sent him they would be able to draw on the cake. When I got the cake, it was HIDEOUS. It wasnt the flavor that I switched it to & they didnt even get the company logo on there. If I didnt want it to be ice cream cake I would have done it myself, but I trusted that in paying $90 for a cake (including tip) that you would get an attractive looking cake. Also, half of it was whipped icing & not even cake.

The worst experience in my life in this location.We came 20 min before they were ready to close. But without any hi they were looking like Wt* did u come? We r closing. They just put all chairs on top of tables in front of our faces.She threw me my ice cream without asking what size I want or giving any a lid for the cup. When my husband ask for a cone (he was ordering after me) she just told they r out.So, instead of enjoying my evening with a Huge bowl of ice cream what I love, I left with a tiny cup, bad mood and the worst experience ever!Thank u ladies!We will never come back!

We love cold stone. However, at this particular store, there were 3 people on staff. only 1 customer checking out. 2 of the employees passed by, looked at me waiting, and did not offer to serve us. I had to wait 10 minutes with 2 small children while the only other customer ahead of me was deciding on a cake and its written message. Apparently only one employee got the memo to serve the customers. Not very professional.

Im done with the Nimmo Pkwy location. We went at 8:45p. Out of 3 workers only one was willing to serve us and she rolled her eyes and had an attitude the entire time! Nothing is worse than bad customer service when so many friendly people are able to work. Well, she acted like everything was a big task for her. I really thought they must have switched their hours from 10p closing to 9p, the way all the employees were acting like I was a big inconvenience to them.Now, the ice cream....it is not like it used to taste. It is hard, there is visible freezer burn on several flavors and the brownies are hard, gross tasting lumps. The creation was a melted mess of overly chewy brownie globs, with ice cream dripping down the sides. I was offered no lid and never asked if I was taking it with me...which I was. The shakes used to be good, but now they always make them liquid like, no good consistency. If any other ice cream shop came around....Brusters, a closer DQ, Carvel, a Bergeys - like local place, if anything was nearby, I dont see Cold Stone keeping up with the competition.
