Bought (2) $40 plants, watered them well and put them in the shade in their containers, side by side, during a mild fall week with rain. Returning from a five day trip, one was brown/desiccated/dead, the other was healthy. They wouldn’t even consider a refund. Nothing but corporate speak. I’ve planted thousands of plants in community, church, and personal projects, treating plants like this has never created a problem. Really bad faith approach to customer relations. Saved $20 wholesale, lost a lot of future sales.

This nursery is EXCELLENT. The staff is helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, and customer service oriented. I am no expert at planting, and they have been able to answer all of my questions in detail so Im successful at planting and growing plants- a new success for me. Even the younger kids that work there and load my car, etc are very friendly, and I feel like a valued customer. Ive been back 3 times in the last month and will continue to shop there. It is clear that everyone there likes their job and is happy to help. I appreciate the local feel and consider it my new nursery.

Wonderful place, I was surprised at all the garden needs I could want and more!

I have been an indoor grower since before 2008 this company does not store their fox farm ocean forest correctly, or any of their soils for that matter.They leave it out side and it deteriorates...I have purchased a few bags of ff over the years from London bridge and every time i end up with mushrooms, gnats and other pests.If your following the new movement I would recommend finding your supplies else where.I will say they have nice house plants but I wouldnt move them inside unless you want to spread pests.

Variety and pricing was okay however their staff interaction and support is severely lacking. There were at least 4 employees that I saw working with only 3 other customers on the property browsing, and they were not helpful when I was trying to ask questions about availability. Two of them responded in a brash manner like I was wasting their time. I have a full yard to landscape and will be taking my business elsewhere. Disappointed.

Not great. People are kinda of rude there. They really dont go out of their way to help you. I had to go look for someone. Then just point to an area. Or said their amber be some outside. Not great customer service. I work in customer service industry. I know. Probably wont go back

This is a great local nursery that has a variety of outdoor and indoor plants and gardening supplies. I would love if they had a larger indoor plant selection. The last time I visited, maybe many plants found loving homes. I didnt find indoor plants that were different than the ones that collectors typically already own. The resident cat is always a wonderful sighting on my visits!

The selection of plants and landscaping items was excellent. The staff was very friendly. Im more interested in house/ tropical plants. They had a decent selection of house plants. The pricing was a little high though. I did see some hard to find plants. Overall, it was a great shopping experience.

This greenhouse is wonderful. The staff is so knowledgeable, the prices are reasonable, and the selection is huge. I drive down from Norfolk and have such a great experience each time.

This is a quaint nursery with an impressive selection for winter-time.They have great deals on house plants and succulents. I was able to get a young Monstera deliciosa for only $14.99.I will be returning someday, since I wasn’t able to get a glimpse of the resident cat.

I was there to rekey some locks for them,but the green house was huge with beautiful plants everywhere......if you want an exotic,go here!

Very neat assortment of plantS. They have pitcher plants, snake plants, aloe, beautiful leafy trees, to many to describe. I was looking for a snake plant and a new house plant. Found a few snake plants. The houseplants were on order, so will try again soon. Staff very knowledgeable about plant health and issues. They were able to tell me how to better care for my Arrowhead plant (in pictures) I even found brussel sprout plants!!!! 😁😁

Loved it. Good selection even in the autumn, plenty of cacti and succulents and a couple carnivorous plants. Nothing excessively expensive, and everything looked quite healthy and well cared for. A nice contrast to the bigger box stores.

The selection they have is absolutely amazing! The employees are very helpful and it was a very busy day but they still found time to help.

Yesterday, my girlfriend came in to purchase materials to continue our vegetable garden. What she got from a floor person is how many mistakes we made and how it would have to be, for all intents and purposes, started all over again. She came home so depressed, it took some time to get her chilled out.What was told to her defied common sense and I contacted a successful local gardener and found out we were doing fine and on our way!We had stopped here for years but never again.

Very good selection of house plants for this time of year - brought myself home a Micans Philo which I have never seen in store. Staff was friendly and they offered a military discount. This checked all my boxes, grateful to have found a local gem!

I purchased some irises, which bloomed a different color than what the flowers were labeled. The manager I spoke with (Amanda?) was so quick to tell me how they could make it right. The staff when I arrived were super quick and helpful. Even without the receipt, they processed my refund quickly. I hope they all have the opportunity to read this- they were all so wonderful in helping me fix the issue. Looking forward to their next shipment and I will absolutely be back! 💚 Eclectic collection of herbs and tomatoes seedlings not found in the box stores.💚 Even found artichokes! If you are into unique perennials, veggies, herb, fruit gardens this place is worth the trip to find a new addition to your yard you didn’t even know you needed. I like to stop by once a month to check out the sales racks too. Just a fun place to look around.

I was told by a sales associate In the Spring to come back in the fall to get a fire glow Japanese maple. Came back in the fall, don’t have any. I was told they were not going to get any more. Sales associates acted like I was wasting their time. For a “high end“ nursery, Felt like I was dealing with dollar tree employees.

My favorite small local greenhouse, very knowledgeable and often stocked. They carry Fox Farms which is the best soil mixes Ive used!

So I went to London Bridge Nursery where they say they offer discounts for Veterans but when I asked for the discount, she said she needed to see my card. What card? Yes, if I was a 20 year retired vet then I would have a card but there is no card for those of us that didn’t serve for 20 years. Does that make us less of a Veteran and therefore we get no discount. Won’t be going back.

This place is very, very expensive. I had a nice visit despite the heat. If you have the money to spend, this is your place. I am all for supporting small businesses but at these prices, I will not be back.

Hubby and I chose tree, did research (full sun spot and mature size) with there help as just took down tree in fall that was out of hand huge. Chose a Cherry. They came delivered, planted, did all from soup to nuts,, compost, mulch included, yes we paid but worth every penny.. VERY professional, kind, courteous, outstanding. Thanks Gabby, Georgia, Justin and ALL involved. Great nursery, always helpful, highly recommend.

The staff are not wearing masks to protect you. Be careful. I wont shop here again until the crisis is over, if then. Also, prices are way up and more than other places. Selection was smaller this year. Try Jack Frost or McDonalds.

I would probably give 4 1/2 stars to be honest but that wasn’t an option so I am giving five. I rarely give a five because nobody’s perfect—but this business really strives to do a great job at what they do and deserves a high rating. They have lots of people to answer questions and to assist. I’ve been there many times almost every time have received excellent service. I’ve also been given help physically when I’ve needed assistance when I’ve come with my young children. I’ve gone to several other nurseries and have not found the same variety of plants and flowers available. The only reason I say 4 1/2 is simply because I have had a couple of young adult workers who were not as willing and friendly—but that has been the exception for sure. Also, I had to come back several times to get enough of the kind of plant that I had wanted, but that doesn’t have to be an issue because I found out later that they’ll order for you to get you the item you need. To be fair, compared to other nurseries, they usually have more options than most. They aren’t perfect but they really strive to provide a lot of variety of plants and flowers and give great service and fair prices. One more thing to mention in terms of service, I have also had some of their knowledgeable staff come to my home and give me ideas of what I can do for my yard. I’ve called to ask about what fertilizers to apply and what to put on my fruit tray to prevent worms. I’ve had workers research things for me to give me the correct answer. I will keep coming back to them because of their overall selection and service.

Great nursery with a super safe plan for the virus. Beautiful and healthy plants, good prices, helpful staff and a gorgeous store kitty.

The young women in the front are knowledgeable, patient, and very friendly. Houseplant selection is nice and they have some interesting things I hadn’t seen before. Succulent selection was kind of small, but they all appeared to be in great shape and were obviously well cared for. Will definitely be coming back.

Place looks great. Poor service. Always wanted to stop. Finally had a good reason today. Won’t be back. I had family in town. We are working on a garden project this weekend. Spent some time down at the boardwalk in the morning. Wanted to get about $200 worth of garden supplies for the afternoon. Told my family how great this place looked. We missed our exit and even had to backtrack to get there. When I got there, though, I needed to use the restroom. As soon as I got there I walked up to someone behind the counter. She didn’t look happy to be there. She wasn’t helping any customers. I think she was eating. I asked if there was a restroom I could use. She looked me up and down and said “no” rather bluntly, and nothing else. I was so taken back by the manner of her response, and was in need of a restroom, so I didn’t challenge it. Instead I gathered my family as quickly as I could and left. As we were leaving she came outside. I made eye contact hoping she had changed her mind and would let me use their restroom. She complained about the air base nearby instead. Won’t be back.

Beautiful plants. Great advice. Great products. I never knew this was here until the new London Bridge exit ramp from 264E. Easy off and back on again. This is worth the drive if you dont live nearby!

Picked up a load of dyed dark brown mulch (the stuff they are using in their own yards) loaded quickly. Very good price. Laid the mulch down and it looks amazing. Only thing I noted was some large sticks but that is to be expected when youre talking a ton of mulch (literally).

Went there for some milkweed and they had a ton. The plants themselves were really healthy and way bigger than the other places I went to. The people are very nice and informed and helped with any questions I had. I plan on returning there for my plants instead of the big box places. The plants are way healthier and they have a nice variety.

Came in for some mulch, walked around back like the sign told me to and entered through the back. Was greeted by an extremely rude employee explaining to me how the front door was not an entrance. Ill never return.

It was as good as the COVID 19 allowed. They spent time in trying to get me what I needed

Everyone here is so helpful and friendly. I bring my dog whenever I come and they give him a treat. The prices are great and there is a good selection of plants, herbs, soil, mulch etc.

We have shopped there for years and we have used their landscaping services for various projects. Both the plants and the service are top quality! Its always fun to go there and see whats waiting for us!

I love these folks! Rich is the best! They did a neighborhood landscaping project for the 87th St. Community. Rich came down and looked over the area and made us a great plan. After some tweaking by our community group, the crew returned and did the work. Everyone we dealt with was efficient and on time. We had topsoil delivered, then the plants and the mulch. They placed the plants according to the plan so we could plant them properly. We spread the topsoil, did the planting and spread the mulch as it was a project we wanted our community to get involved in. You can see their work on the south side of the boardwalk on 87th. They are also landscaping the north side for the neighbors that live on the oceanfront. Highly recommend!!

To start this is the second review ive ever written in 48 years on this earth....Ordered some mulch compost mix, paid, got delivered, driver was awesome, sales people were awesome, gave the driver some more money for another load to be delivered either same day or next day whatever worked for them, received a call from the sales lady saying she made a mistake with the pricing the previous day and only charged me for customer pick up and not delivery, she told me they would honor yesterdays price but would have to charge me for delivery today, I told her that I would also pay for yesterdays mistake (on their end) no problem just give me a few minutes to wrap up at work, everything was fine. She called back saying the owner wouldnt do anything until I came up there and paid upfront for the additional i think 50 or so dollars (for their mistake). So long story short, after 28 years of buying ALL of my soil, sod, rocks, plants, mulch, furniture, yard art, and countless referrals, for my houses and my customers businesses, I went back up there and got my money back for the second order (their max load size) and didnt offer to pay for their mistake this time. I guess when you have someone like her that was handed a business down that they themselves didnt build up from scratch it should be expected that eventually things like this would happen. McDonalds nursery just started getting ALOT more business and doesnt even know it yet, its really a shame because the old man would never have acted this way and he built a great business. And its not just today, its been slowly going down hill since hes left and inevitable closure is in sight.

Anything not McDonald or Atlantic automatically gets five stars, plus pretty awesome on its own merits.This place is incredibly beautiful with extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. My only complaint, not super fantastic parking availability. I think they just have maximized their incredible space for things that grow and related items.It is massive, I didnt even get a chance to look at everything I wanted to see. This will be my spot for all things plant related inside and out, forevermore. No joke. What an incredible find! I cant believe people dont rave endlessly about this location local jem. Plants and animals are my thang, this place brings joy. If not for you, you are dead inside. Seriously.Ill add some pictures next time Im there and have more time to buy some great things and really get into things. Check their amazing paver, natural rock and mulch selection. That alone is something to behold. Wow. I couldnt even tell you the most impressive aspect. Its a plant/yard enthusiasts dream come true.This place knocked my socks off 100%! Its really something.Even if youre looking for just one thing, go here. It will kick in your creativity and creative juices beyond what you imagined possible.
