Great guys. My wife had been neglecting her bike, and she wanted to take a trip on it before I had time to maintain it for her. She called them up and they performed maintenance for a reasonable price in a timely manner. Will go to again if I ever need service! Thanks Oceana Cycles!
Shopping for a safe helmet for my daughter. This was the first place I checked. I was going to shop around, but the gentleman that helped me was kind, knowledgeable, and the price was reasonable, so he won my business. Being a kind person will always win my business 😁
Love this place! Always going above and beyond to help! If you are looking for anything for your bike they will have you covered!
Knowledgeable staff for damn sure
Great place good staff service is outstanding i have always had a good experience when i needed something done to my bike
Awesome shop,I do most work myself but Ive had to use this place before for custom exhaust work and a few other thing. Great mechanics and open about work if needed. You can beat their price and little shops like this are as rare as it comes. Got the bike done quicker than expected even with extra work I added later on that I was undecided on. Great place and good selection of parts on hand with prices you cant beat. Trey is a real old school guy too. Other places like this are turning into cookie cutter shops and dont care about their customers. You need a engine rebuild or oil change there isnt a better place.
I have an old grumpy 84 Softail thats been in the family since new. Oceana Cycles is the ONLY shop that we have ever found trustworthy and honest enough to work on this bike. Trey and his team are the reason why my bike still runs like new! Even if I have a random question he and his staff, always has the answer! I hate paying someone to work on my bike but its worth every penny having the peace of mind & knowing its done right! Too bad they wont move to Oregon, will miss you guys when we move...
Trey and his staff did top-notch work for me the past couple of weeks. They were extremely patient with explaining the inns and outs of what I wanted to do to my bike and how it would affect its overall performance. They are extremely knowledgeable on multiple brands and styles . When I came in with a quote from another shop they beat it by almost $1000. They were super quick and I couldn’t be happier with the work they did!! I will definitely use these guys in the future for any major work I get done on my bike
Fast, friendly and professional service. If they dont have it, they can find it.
Great motercycle shop very helpful and wealth of knowledge
Needed fluids and filter to do a complete fluid change on my electra glide since I didnt have a way there Trey dropped them off I had a meeting point in Hampton the business is very professional and great help great work thanks guys.
Trey is the man I drove all over Hampton Roads looking for an axle shaft. And he was the only only one after about 20 minutes of researching had found it for me. Thank You.
Great customer service and they provided lots of information to my questions. Im definitely going back for parts and services.
This is where its at, these guys are busy for a reason. Reasonable prices and more than willing to help, worth the wait.
Great service, friendly and very knowledgeable staff who are willing to help even novice customers. Much better experience than dealing with dealership service departments. And the prices are so much better than a dealership too!
Prices were very fair and service was excellent. I had a tight timeline before a planned trip, and needed a 1K service and some installs done. Oh, and I dropped the bike off with a box of random bolts and parts (having extra bolts is good, right?). The Oceana team got me in and out and the bike is running great. I will definitely bring my bike back for maintenance.
Good peopleQuality parts and service.
Great people, great work!
You really want to be able to count on your motorcycle being in tip top shape when you go out and ride. I had taken my motorcycles to Trey years ago. but unfortunately had been without a motorcycle the past few years to keep up with the shop. I was happy to see that since that time Treys moved to a bigger shop and is still providing excellent service to his customers. I wanted to make sure my new to me motorcycle was in tip top shape after all and I wanted to bring it to someone I could trust! That said, I went in to get a 10k mile service done on my Harley FXDWG and Steve my mechanic was very personable and did a great job with my service. I took her out tonight for an hour ride and shes running perfect. I cant wait to come back and get some new grips and shocks done.Im very happy to support a local company whose business is maintaining motorcycles exclusively and who has very fair prices to boot. It pays to still be able to go up and talk to someone about an issue. Google cant fix it all, so buy a few parts local to! Keep it up guys, glad to have you around!
Nice guts good prices
Outstanding service! The best locally owned motorcycle shop!
Busy but got it done, small snafu in that I was expecting to pick up Thursday and wasnt able to get the bike back til Friday. Communications and write the anticipated date on ticket, should solve it all. Otherwise great service ☺️
I brought my Harley to Oceana Cycles to fix a a problem with the shifting. I was having problems finding neutral. The people that work there are the best around. Trey the owner explained all the repairs that were needed and gave me an estimate before they started. The price was less than the dealer and all the work was done quickly with no problems.
Great bike shop. Very reasonable prices and extremely knowledgeable staff. They will get you rolling in no time without losing an arm and a leg.
Mgmt and staff are knowledgeable and trustworthy. Get your bike fixed or modd for a fair price.
Wonderful and amazing people very helpful extremely professional I love this place. They have all the parts you need for your motorcycle and if they dont have it they will find it for you I will recommend this place to anybody
Trey and his wrench magicians are phenomenal. Had them do work on a shovelhead and install reaper cams on my street glide. Man what a difference! Trey took the time and explained things and gave his 2 cents on what he thought would work best. Real good people all around and really good to work with a dude who runs his business that way. Take your bike there, you won’t be disappointed.
Helped my buddy out with a tire. Good price he said as well.
Amazing great pricing
I dropped off my Streetglide for some service work (and a bath... I don’t think it is a service they offer but Trey hooked me up) the last moment before a out of state ride. I was more than surprised to get the call that the bike was ready a day earlier than promised, washed and ready to hit the road.I highly recommended this independent shop. This is my second visit for service and I was just as pleased the first time.
Yeah its a good place to go for older bikes
Trey and his team are great. Small shop but great service.
All the fellas at Oceana Cycles have been more than helpful and kind. Always give great advice on where to look or what to get. They have an extensive supply of used parts and can get anything you need new as well. Youll spend thousands taking it from shop-to-shop finding a competent Harley mechanic and parts supplier (including the dealer) only to end up here wishing you came here first. These guys will not disappoint!
Great place to have your motorcycle needs taken care of ata good rate
Was traveling through the area on my KLR and desperately needed a tire change. They got me in immediately and I was back on the road in under an hour. Great family-run shop.
Trey and team are fantastic. I had a tank that needed an inner coating and paint job repair. The existing liner apparently was tough to remove and Trey went the extra mile to make it happen. I live in NYC and had to ship my tank. They came recommended and i actually never met the team in person. Was no problem at all. Trey answered all my phone calls and questions. Pricing was very reasonable and the delivered product was great. I would definitely go through the hassle of shipping stuff again just to have Oceana cycles do more stuff for me in the future. Big thanks to Trey and team. Im super happy.
Knowledgeable mechanics and reliable!
Nice and very sweet hairy fat guys
Got my bike back yesterday. Seems like good quality work. Considerably less than HD. Nice little shop. Trey takes time to discuss repairs.
My Harley wouldn’t start so I shipped it off to Oceana Cycles all the way from Pennsylvania. They not only got it running like a top, but they reprogrammed my key fob to link to the bike.I had taken it to the local VB Harley-Davidson stealership about 5 years ago to have the fob fixed. Harley told me the TSSM had been damaged and it would be over $300 to replace it (I’m surprised HD doesn’t charge an admission fee to walk into the dealership!)So for 5 years, like a chump, I punched in the security bypass code to start the bike and had to wait for the anti-theft system to reset every time I accidentally bumped it before inputting the code... it was a pain! But Lo and behold, the guys at Oceana Cycles found there was nothing wrong with the TSSM and got the fob working like new.5 stars and I’ll use again. Hopefully to install new handlebars!
Had to stop here to have a simple fault fixed. The tech had it fixed very quickly and I was back on the road. Everyone was friendly. Will be stopping there again.
Great place to buy parts, good people. Havent had my bike worked here but sure they do good job
Trey is great! If he doesnt have the parts you need he can get them. Awesome mechanic! Very fair prices.
Great service and very helpful
Tray and Oceana have been working on my bike for over 5 yrs. Great price, great service, and always fixed right the first time. New it was right shop when I meet his mom and dad hanging around shop. Family is veteran friendly,
Awesome place and people always want to help you with finding what you need!!
A place where one can feel good about their purchase. Usually same price as the internet.
Great bike shop. If you need parts or service, definitely head in. The owner is a great guy and he has a good crew working for him.
Great shop has a little bit of everything and very knowledgeable staff.
Oh man, I cant begin to say enough nice things about Trey and the boys in the shop. Ever since buying my bike in December, theyve always had exactly what I needed and exactly what Ive wanted for my bike. Just picked my sportster 48 up from them a few hours ago after having them put on a new exhaust and a couple relocation brackets, and it looks and runs better than ever! They are less expensive than the Harley Davidson dealer on labor, and in my opinion, take a lot more pride in their work.
THE BEST IN THE 757 !!!!!!😊
Great group of guys they helped me out many times in a jam. Thanks
Always had my work done here, friendly, fast, and willing to explain the best service on the job you want done.
This review is about parts order made and paid up front that I wanted to cancel. I didn’t give a reason on parts return first attempt. Girl at counter asked why and I told her I wanted to cancel. She said thats fine and that I can come get refund anytime. Second call I was told it was going to be a 20 percent restocking fee. Needless to say I was up set. Parts order was 400 bucks. It was going to cost 80 to cancel. I asked her if she was restocking the sales tax too. Owner called and wanted to know why I was canceling order. I told him I could do better on the cost of the tire and axel he ordered. He told me I didn’t know what I was talking about and I was buying junk if I was getting it any cheaper. The Conversation gets deeper but I won’t go into it. I think owner took it personal. I was just trying to save a buck. He told me there was going to be a return shipping charge too on top of restocking fee. That part was bull because drag pays for return shipping. There is a restocking fee though. The part that blows my mined is he would have made money even if he did the return. He wouldn’t have lost anything. The parts were paid up front. I decided to get the parts and chalk it up to a lesson learned on my end. To the reviewers that read this do not expect to get any full refunds back on special order parts. And one more thing expect to get back lashing from owner. I give him two stars for being a small Business owner and maintaining motorcycles of the past and present and one star for being a senior citizen if anybody was wondering why the three star ratings.
I would agree with the comment about Trey. Really nice guy and does know his stuff. Was a little worried with the small, slightly messy shop but they treated me and my bike great. I would recommend this play to anyone.
Trey and his staff are very helpful and honest. I had a 1979 Triumph Bonnevile T140D that could be described as a 2:1 bike. Meaning it took 2 hours of working on it for every hour I rode. Trey and his crew kept it running like a dream and any bike I have in the future will definitely go to Oceana Cycles for service.
Went there a few weeks ago with my 2 year old son for a brake line and ended up getting a tour of the shop to see a ton of bikes; BSAs, Triumphs, and of course Harley Davidsons. Great customer service and will be going back if I ever need anything.
Real old school shop. Helpful and Honest. Great value.
Friendly Service and repair, you can trust Tres work
Anytime I want or need something done to my Harley all I have full faith in Oceana Cycle and Trey always have done what I needed
Great mechanics and skill set
Very friendly and helpful
Great local business. Trey is knowledgeable and wont steer you wrong.
Trey, at Oceana Cycles is an awesome dude. He is extremely friendly and very helpful and takes the time to look in the books and the catalogs to help you find just what you need. I recently had him put on Vance and Hines staggered short shots and a Arlen Ness stage one air cleaner along with a fuel pack. They did an awesome job and it was very quick and it was an awesome price as well. I recommend anyone who has a Harley Davidson to take the motorcycle to Trey and let him perform the work that you need done . Southside Harley Davidson is a good store but they are overpriced and I had a bad experience with them because they told me my battery was fine and then I ended up being stranded. The battery that I had would not recharge while the motorcycle was running. However, Southside Harley Davidson let me leave their shop and I ended up getting stranded a week later and had to pay for a tow truck because the bike wouldn’t. GO SEE TREY at Oceana Cycles!
I like this place, good mechanics are hard to find..keep looking Trey
Great customer service, very knowledgeable and a straight shooter. I came in for my 10k service on my SGS but also needed my rear brakes changed out. He called me several times and left me messages to let me know I need to change replace them but I couldn’t answer because of my job. Took A judgement call to have them replaced, I’ll normally be pissed but he showed me how bad they were. Shop price was reasonable so much cheaper then the stealership. Took care of me And my Harley. Thank you guys!!!
Damn good mechanics and customer service
Good service, quality work the first time, never have a problem with them. I would reccomend this shop to anyone in the Hampton Roads area that rides.
Best tune on vintage 71 triumph Bonneville
New tranny after my Ultima crapped out at 20k miles. Trey was great. Went over my options, discussed solutions. Ended up with a Jims 6 speed. Very happy with the work on my bike. Trey and his team fixed a lot of little things they found along the way. Bike runs like new (to me). Fairly priced, especially for the quality of work, which is excellent.
Awsome place for your motorcycle needs the owner is a awsome he is alwsys there and ready to help
Quick work fair price experienced staff
Easy. They were upfront, honest, and friendly. My new go to shop
Good selection of aftermarket parts
Really cool place
So much better than the dealership, honest and friendly service
Great place, service and repairs, best in area
Great prices and service, but the knowledge Trey has is priceless. No reason to go elsewhere.
Raped me on LED install and basic parts install. Straight crooks.
Never been there but I need my rear tire replaced
Good people
Great.
Great to buy from
Overpriced
