I took my car to VISALIA FORD to get fixed they called me with a price of 1100$ to fix my car which contained them getting a new throttle body putting it on and torquing my spark plugs down. They torqued them down but broke the porcelain on one and didnt clean the area around the plug which caused dirt to get in every whole with the plug I had to go back and do there job over for them I went in and talked to there service manager and she was not helpful at all she kept giving me excuses on why the dirt was in the holes when there is NO excuse you can give for that and thats it I asked for a refund and she said she would call me back and never Has, this place is a joke they also made me buy a boot that goes over the plug for no reason do not take your car here go to a different place trust me.

We found a car online that we were interested in buying. We were told by Donny it was a Demo car and he’d get it in the next day for us to see. After doing research on what a demo car is, we realized it is a “new” car that their Vice President is commuting in. While we were still interested in purchasing we were told it is still considered new and NO discount would be given for the 2,300 miles that have been put on the car. It was also not available to see because it couldn’t be brought it on the day we had arranged to see it. A car that has been commuted in to and from Clovis is not a new car just because it’s your Vice President who drove it. Disappointing experience.Thank you for your response Don, but I disagree. A car’s value is certainly affected by the mileage. That along with a car’s age determine a car’s value. I understand it has not been registered and for that reason considered new. But there’s no way I’d be willing to buy your “new” car that someone’s been commuting in for the same price I can go get an actual new car somewhere else. The only advantage to buying a demo car is the discount you’d receive for the wear and tear and mileage. We were also told by your salesman that it was driven by your vice President and he was a large Italian man that wore suits, sorry but that doesn’t make the mileage or wear and tear any better. Your salesman also told us he couldn’t sell our used car on your lot because of the mileage, so I guess mileage doesn’t affect value when it is one your cars, only the consumers car.

Very unusual to get a stress-free experience. From the first phone conversation, to driving our new vehicle home, we were treated like they appreciated our business...this is not normally the case from other dealers in the central valley. Brandon & Henny did an outstanding job to arrive at a deal that we thought was fair for us and the dealer. My wife & I were never were rushed to make a decision during the sales process and were given time to discuss anything we needed to discuss privately. Driving 50 miles to Visalia, I asked Henny on the phone if he could insure the vehicle would still be on the lot. He had washed it, parked it near the building and it already had a full tank of fuel when we arrived! Other salesmen assisted us by prepping our new car and transferring personal items from our trade. All features were demonstrated on the new vehicle and any questions we had were answered before we left. Of note, Brandon did a favor for us immediately after I emailed a few days later him asking for a forgotten monthly car wash account number from our trade. Mr. Groppetti must be very proud of his team!

After getting my new transit connect 2016- my husband and I noticed a noise while tuning the wheels .I took my van to the dealer in Visalia, and they said they couldnt hear the noise, so my van didnt get fixed.Now I am still dealing with the same problem I have to pay out my pocket to fix it..It is unfair that dealers just want to fix your vehicle when your warranty has expired.So dissapointed!!

Waste of time, made an appointment for FRIDAY a week before they had my car for the whole day just to check the ac, didn’t inform me they were keeping the car over night and then the next day SATURDAY i showed up to see if they’ve done anything to my car, they said the mechanic wasn’t gonna be there till MONDAY. ridiculous

The best car purchase experience I’ve had in my life. I’ve dealt, especially recently, with many dealers in my quest for the perfect driver’s car. The professionalism and kindness of the Visalia Ford staff made this transaction super smooth and hassle-free from A-Z. I spoke on the phone with Skyler, who was forthcoming and honest. ZERO games. He was responsive, attentive, and answered my questions and requests in a timely manner. Then I met Donny at the dealership, who was courteous, professional, very efficient, eased me through the transaction, fulfilled my requests, and made sure I’m all set-up in my new GT350 to drive back home. Then the finance manager (sorry forgot to take his business card) made the final purchase smooth and pain-free. I dealt with well-known BMW and Honda dealers in Orange County, CA, in the past 3 years leasing top of the line Hondas and BMW, and the finance experience was very stressful and intimidating. They almost bully you to buy warranties and extra maintenance contracts. Not at Visalia Ford! The finance manager gives you the options with NO PRESSURE! He was spectacular and clearly had the customer satisfaction as his top priority. I highly recommend Visalia Ford. They are an A-Team!

Just purchase our 2017 dodge durango. We wasnt sure if we was able to get it but Donny Landry never give up on us. He worked for 2 days to get everything done. He works and tried to met our budget and make sure that the vehicle is in good shape. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Just make sure to look for Donny when you come and visit Visalia Ford. We are so happy with our new vehicle.

A friend of mine went to this dealership due to a sound coming from his front end. After 6 hours of waiting they informed him it would be $1800 dollars to change two wheel hub assemblies and he went ahead and ordered the part. we found the part for $160 dollars at a local parts store and we only changed the left side. The truck was fixed with the $160 part and about two hours of our time and only one needed replaced. This dealership tried charging him $1300 dollars for the same parts. When he called to let them know he fixed the vehicle and he no longer needed the parts they charged him $230 just to restock the parts they told him he needed. This dealership will take advantage of you in any way possible. Do not do business with this company. They are crooks! They did nothing and still stole $300 and tried to rob him for an extra $1400.

We brought our Escape to Visalia Ford to have a couple minor mechanical issues diagnosed and repaired. The service staff was friendly and skilled, but we had a minor hiccup/misunderstanding related to one of the charges. I reached out to Don Groppetti (youll see his courteous responses in many of the other reviews) to find out if there was some kind of resolution that would not only make me a happy customer but that was also fair to his service staff. I rarely post reviews, but in this case I feel compelled to.Misunderstandings are going to crop up from time to time in any business. Thats just a certainty of human interaction and perhaps even moreso with something as mechanically complex as an automobile. Whats less certain is how companies and the people who operate them handle these disagreements. Don is a guy who has a world class understanding how to do this. Hes just a flat out fair and reasonable guy. He was very friendly on the phone and he showed a genuine interest in understanding the circumstances and facts that might have caused the miscommunication. He was sympathetic and fair in a way that made us feel good, not only about the transaction in question, but also in terms of working with this dealership in the future.Needless to say, Don helped sort everything out to our complete satisfaction and I wouldnt hesitate bringing my car back to Visalia Ford for service or to recommend them to any of my family and friends.

I called in for a question about an upcoming service on my car and Ashley took the time to help me. This is now the 3rd time working with her, she always keeps me informed on my vehicle, she always has a great attitude, and if she does not have the answer she will find one for me. Every time I go to Ford there is a new employee in service but Im very glad to still see Ashley. I usually am very skeptical about taking my car in because of the poor service female customers generally receive at most repair shops. The fact that I own a Honda, but take my vehicle to Ford for routine maintenance speaks volumes. Ashley, her manager, and the techs are great. I will continue to be a customer of Ford service department!

Dealership had four models listed at a lower price. Two were in stock and two were in transit.All listed as available on the website.Dealership was unwilling to sell vehicles at advertised price, reserving them for a fleet instead of selling them to a customer,ready to buy a new car.Salesperson didnt even mention the lower priced vehicles until I brought it to their attention that I had already seen their onlineaonline prices.Rather than make an immediate sale, dealerships only focued on trying to upsell two vehicles that were $10,000 more.They will intentionally advertise false, lower prices to get you in the door.I will be reporting this to the California State Attorney Generals office for consumer affairs.

Honestly I thought I was taking my car to this Ford in Visalia thinking that they were going to do a better job than the one in Tulare California turns out to be I was wrong went so they can put my headlights on that I had bought and they did not install them right so I notice on my 2016 fusion they lights were rattling while I drive so I went into the service department and I told him about it and they said they couldn’t do anything about it because I provided the headlights and they still wanted to charge me $68 to check it out and now I can’t see at night because my headlights are facing down instead of up I tried calling and calling and calling and calling to the service department manager and no call back and no answer very unprofessional not going back there ever again

Brought my car in to have a 5 minute cruise control activation done and it took 2 hours before they even started. This after scheduling an appointment in advance to make sure I was able to get it in first, they still took another car before mine. Even after they finished, finally, the service guy, Jason Harper, gave me the keys back like he wanted me gone. I definitely wont be going back to that dealership for any future needs, and Ill be sure everyone I know goes elsewhere.

I came here on two separate occasions, several months ago and couldnt get anyone to help me. I was even in the showroom sitting in a vehicle, both times. I was passed up by several salespeople, who were not helping anyone. I ended up purchasing a new car in Fresno. I swore I would never return here for anything. I went to the Service/Parts Department today and I had an amazing experience. Dean in Parts was very helpful and went above and beyond and changed my mind on this location. I may even consider purchasing a vehicle here in the future. Dean is a great asset and I recommend seeing him for any parts needs.

Art walked out to our Van as we pulled up to the service bay and introduced himself. Asked what we needed and guided us in the right direction. Before we walked into the office he checked with his tech to confirm he would take care of our vehicle before he clocked off for lunch and the tech was more than willing to do so. I was quoted 45 minutes for an oil change and multi point inspection, and was called back at 41 minutes to let me know everything was good to go. I was very happy with the professionalism and service that was provided.

They have greatly improved. I had them flush the transmission and change the belts. Staff were friendly informative and did great work. I was very happy with the service. I walked into the show room because I’m looking at getting a new car. I was surprised to see no unreasonable mark ups on their lot. So many dealerships are placing insane mark ups on vehicles. Just stopped in to look at the 2014 Fusion and had all my questions answered. No pressure salesmen and sales manager were perfect gentlemen and no pushy sales jargon. Just gave me exactly what I was looking for during that visit. The car is amazing in every way and and drives the best for its class. So when we do go to purchase, these guys will get our business. By far the best Ford dealer in the area. If your sick of the pushy salesman garbage head over here, they will treat you right.(Update) We did eventually go back and buy a 2015 Fusion Titanium.The car has been perfect. They worked with us and found us exactly the car we wanted with the colors and all the options.I even had one of the senior salesmen ask me if I really wanted that color because he didnt think it looked that good. Well that changed once he seen it in that model we purchased and was shocked at how good it did look.They had multiple people wanting to drive it when we were picking it up.The car has been perfect in every manner and not a single issue at all.

Update: gave them 2 weeks and they still couldnt get me a new CD player. Need another 2-3 days for it to maybe arrive, then schedule installation.No reason in this day to have things shipped without tracking. Did get a lot of excuses. Will have to go to another dealership.dropping from 5 to a 1 on customer service. Plenty of frustration and no service provided. They promise and cant deliver. Still waiting for a new CD player. They said it would be in last Tuesday and would call. They didnt call. I called and was assured it was scheduled to be delivered later that day and they would call me back. I called again on Friday and got the same line, it would definitely be delivered that day and they would call me to set up installing it on Tues. Still waiting for a courtesy call and its Sunday and tomorrow is a holiday. Was told its hard to get and in high demand. Really? Its a CD player!Original post:Bought new pick up last summer from someone else and CD has never worked right. Visalia is honoring warranty and replacing. Van handled everything with a smile and great personality. He worked with my schedule even when I had to reschedule. He showed me how to reset oil sensor when another dealership failed to do so last week. All employees are friendly and helpful.

Visalia Ford was my top choice until now. Make sure you read the sale contract carefully. We purchased a car and found a price different than what we agreed to and an extra charge for a 12 month maintenance package offered to us free of charge.We were told there was an “issue” with the computer. Rommel didn`t try to help us when we asked about the difference in the contract, even though we even received a letter from Ford Credit saying there was a mistake in the contract.

BUYER BEWARE!!! This dealership runs a lot of scams and are extremely dishonest. Chris Ford contacted me by e-mail very clearly stating that they had someone interested in buying the car we purchased last year. He said we could get a 2018 Explorer with no money down and keep our monthly payment about the same. I said sure, send me the particulars. Well after getting my wife excited about a new car. Basically everything he told me in writing was a absolute lie! #1 He didnt have anyone interested in our car. #2 The payments were $350.00 per month more than our current monthly payment of $469.00 per month. I dont know about you but as a local educator here in Fresno County and a Veteran that is no where close to our current payment. I have only owned Fords since 1979 and would never ever do business with Visalia Ford if someone forced me to with these shady folks. I wish I could say that it was at the salesperson level, but I called and talked to a Manager named Wayne Tinsley. He said that he saw nothing wrong with this type of shady misleading scam. I acquired a 2015 ford fusion, ever since I got it from the dealer I had false promises. The owner had to get involved to fix salespeople false promises. TODAY. It has been almost 25 DAYS THAT my car is in their shop. No news. From it. Car just stopped in the middle of the freeway, no warnings really dangerous, it was a close call next to a 18 wheeler. This has being the 3rd time this car stops and leaves me no warnings. I tried to contact the owner by email. No response. Next BBB. IM PAYING to much for this car.

Called to check on the warranty status of a part I bought here. Was told that the warranty period is 2 years, but I must have the receipt/invoice because records are only kept for 6 months. It would make sense if it werent for the fact that everything is computerized and records should be kept at least until the warranty expires. Is it my responsibility to keep records? Yeah, probably. But it still seems like bad customer service.Plus the parts counter employees always seem quite irritated to be looking up part numbers and placing orders. Definitely getting my parts elsewhere from now on.

My 2016 mustang needed an oil change so I called and made an appointment for 1pm. I had gone there for the first oil change and I remembered that they didnt check air pressure and didnt rotate the tires so I asked the service guy to check the tire pressure and rotate the tires. He said that they do that with every oil change. I got the car back after an hour and it was no surprise that they didnt check the pressure nor rotate the tires. I wont be giving them a 3rd chance.

I was driving home to Phoenix from Stockton on Labor Day when my truck began over heating. The closest shop I could get towed to was Visalia Ford. Due to the holiday everything was closed. I was able to leave the keys in an envelope along with a note of what was wrong with the truck in a drop box. The next morning at 8 a.m. I received a call from John in the service department. I explained to John that I really needed to get back to Phoenix for work. John assisted me with getting a rental car and assured me that it would be ok to leave my truck there until I was able to make arrangements to have the truck picked up. That afternoon they were able to diagnose the problem with my truck and fix it. They didnt take advantage of my circumstances like some companies would do. I would highly recommend Visalia Ford to anybody looking for reputable dealership to do business with. They are extremely professional and fair with their customers.

UNPROFESSIONAL. HIGH PRESSURE. SHADY TACTICS. ENTITILED STAFF.I made an appointment with Donny after he contacted me through a Costco auto program inquiry I made. We set an appointment up. Upon arrival I found out he apparently double booked himself and was with another client. This is after I took a half day off and drove 45 minutes out of my way. He passed me off to another salesperson that was at first friendly but became increasingly more pushy.I test drove the truck I was interested in and then asked to go inside to discuss pricing details.Boy was I wrong in thinking this would be a simple no hassle process of receiving the Costco member pricing... I was told I need to commit to buying the truck before she would give me the pricing. When I refused she got up to go talk with someone.My tolerance for BS is very low these days so I called Costco Auto and reported this dealer for breaking protocol.1. Visalia Ford didnt offer me the prearranged pricing as promised.2. The dealer contact did not seemed trained nor interested in using the Costco program.3. The experience was not smooth. It was not seamless. It was downright shady.4. This dealer uses Costcos good name to ambush people with old fashion high pressure     car sales tactics.I am now working with Lithia Ford in Fresno and the difference is night and day. If you are a Costco member interested in using Costco Auto to buy a Ford, avoid Visalia Ford at all costs!!!The same goes for any other buyer.

Visalia Ford service department, dont wast your time.These guys suck! They made appointment with my wife to bring in her car. When she arrived on the scheduled date for her car to be check-in. The service desk person told her, that they are overwhelmed because their technician was out and they wouldnt be able to get to the car until 12 days later. I called the supervisor and express my bitterness about the situation. The supervisor advised my wife to bring the car back a day later. Good, but Nope!8 days later I received a phone call from the front desk service person and they told me, due to another technician quitting they wouldnt be able to look at the vehicle at all. I had to tow the car to another dealership.

Were 21 year owners of Ford vehicles. Three months ago we dropped our King Ranch off for a service visit. It sat there for 7 hours until we inquired about the status and they said they didnt have time to look at it . The service manager was good enough to explain the situation and apologize.Five months later we gave them another chance after a lot of good service at Monarch and the vehicle sat for 6 hours on a drop off. The end result was a warranty that was 4 days out of warranty and the service department wasnt willing to call ford for their customer. Additionally, my wife was quoted 1100 dollars for a new battery. They did provide us with a Ford customer service number. Ford customer care was very receptive to a vehicle that was 4 days out of warranty needing a new battery and a customer who paid $115 for a diagnostic to determine the battery was bad.Yelp has very similar reviews.Were a Ford family but well be going to Hanford or Exeter.

Would like to post an update. Im leaving my original comment so if you have the time to read it, you can see how badly I originally felt about this place. Come to find out it was an issue isolated in a different area of the dealership, that I am certain has been corrected by now. The service manager called me directly and only a day after I posted the comment (I work graveyard so we played phone tag for a bit) After our conversation he knew there was an issue and right away set up a plan to correct it. It is now 8-13-18 and my car is at 100% appointment was set and parts were ordered on the 8th. They even lined out a ride to and from my house for me at no charge. Dont hesitate bringing your concerns to the service department, these guys really know customer service. outstanding to see people who stand behind the product and brand they sell!!! These guys need more than 5 starsBelow is the original postWill never purchase from here again. This place has no business selling used vehicles.If you purchase used from here, keep in mind that when a vehicle is traded in, if the vehicle needs tires, brakes or even something as basic as an oil change, they will find a way out of it before selling and pawn it off on you or send the vehicle to the auction instead. I do not trust the work performed and will not return for service unless forced to for warranty purposes. I will then take it to another trusted shop and pay for the work to be verified if I cant verify it myself.Expect high prices for a polished up version of Farmersville used car dealer quality.I love my fords and will go to another dealership when I purchase my truck next year after refinancing this disaster I got myself into. Dont make the same mistake I did.
