The rudeness is unbelievable! The tea dispenser was empty so I asked a dark haired cashier if there was any tea and I received a rude stare and a no. I said that there was a dispenser and she said it doesnt work. Told me to go to Dickeys if I wanted tea. I was told she puts a sign on it and it gets removed??? (Why would someone remove a sign like that?) I said I would buy a bottle of tea but all I saw was sweet or flavored and she said thats all we have. I told her maybe they should consider getting more regular tea since it was what seemed to be selling. She said maybe we will get a truck. I have yet to be greeted upon approaching the register nor a sorry we dont have what you need and certainly not a smile. If this is how employees are trained, that is sad.

This is one of the nicest truckstops in Texas. Everybody is very friendly and the showers are simply awesome. Very clean place. Just about anything you want to eat is here.

Not a bad spot. Decent parking. Just don’t plan on being able to eat. Has a Church’s, Dickeys BBQ and Cinnabon but all are almost always closed. If by chance they’re open, they won’t have any food to sell anyway. Since they’re never open the management doesn’t bother keeping inventory in case anyone shows up for work.

Truck stop itself is awesome the register employees awesome only thing is Dickys isn’t the same like in Cali these workers are rude like they don’t wanna be there skimpy on the 2meal combo food had no flavor best thing and only thing they had worth buying is the only thing they didn’t have to cookThe gold peak sweet tea lol

How do you have a truck stop/ travel center when you have nothing to eat or snack on in the store. They have a Church’s Chicken, Dickey’s and hot deli and none have any food or they are closed. The hot deli was closed and there was no food there and the Church’s Chicken was close and the only thing at Dickey’s was brisket with no sides.

Dickeys BBQ is Good, but expensive & they skimp on the two meat plate.. Very little meat for an enormous price! Truck stop is clean & accessible.

Nice place to stop. Has plenty of parking even late at night. Brand new store and parking lot. The showers are just as nice, if not nicer than the big box truck stops. Finally the barbecue was good. I will definitely be back.

Loved it.. I think churchs was a little steep on the prices, but Ill let them have that with it being a truck stop.. Parking area for trucks is easy to get in and out of.. I was shocked to see this small truck stop with so much parking.. Gotta love Texas..

10am on a Saturday, hungry. You have a toco place, at other Road Ranger good breakfast tocos.Your place, 4 people behind counter, everyone laughing. No food! There is a pizza that is so dry, would be a deadly flying dish. In 3 pans is something Brown?Couple behind me was hungry also. They looked at the food(?) and turned away.

I am in Texas right? Where its mandated that everyone wear a mask because of the pandemic?Yeah thats what I thought. The manager (?) Wasnt wearing his properly and was super rude when I asked him to correct it.Everyone was rude. Even saying thank you was too much kindness for them. First time at a Road Ranger and I dont think Ill be stopping here again. Its ridiculous that Im stuck here.

The BBQ was a nice surprise. The beautiful Arkansas gal at the fuel desk was very helpful to this Missouri guy.

No employee enforcing the mandatory face mask.4 people walked in with no mask.and a clerk was even out in store assisting 2 without mask......I really thank you for keeping everyone safe......plus it is STATE MANDATE ENFORCE IT

Absolutely lovely truck stop. Always clean and very friendly employees. Food options are varied enough that you can put together a great meal. Beverage area is well stocked and clean also. One little spill and the attendants are there with cleaner, cloth and a map if needed. The parking here is awesome. Plenty of room for you to back into a spot. Fuel area looked good too although I didnt fuel.

Aug 30 2020 4:43am the mens restroom was very bad and it smelled. I told the man at the register. But he didnt answer me, didnt really seem to care. Id call corporate but I dropped my phone and it broke. My wife said the ladies restroom was fine.

Morning cashier is very unwelcoming

1st the change shortage, so my change is $.11 and Im told that they did have my change. So I asked instead if you owing me how about I give you the $.8 I have and I owe you..what a mistake with a nasty attitude, Rebecca goes and say just give her the change. So if a customer agrees to what you saying about the shortage, youre going to continue to rob people because of a fee cents. You wanted to short change me but didnt want me to short change you....2nd when you are around and serving food, you shouldnt be putting your hair up in that area and then never once wash you hands, sanitized them or put on gloves and on top of that no mask.. With that being said you probably dont even care, but this is my first and last stop here..

Spent a 34 on 03/03 -03/04/2020. Shower rooms were fine. Clean. Oscillating fan. Water hammer and loss of temp when someone else started water. Went from warm to lukewarm. No chance of scalding at 10:30 am on a Tuesday. Real brewed coffee. Yay! No crushed ice, or unsweet tea. Boo! Dickeys filled my tea cup. Brisket, sausage, green beans and potato casserole. Good. Green beans were well-seasoned. At Churchs we ordered tenders w/ okra and fries, wanted garlic shrimp - got original w/ slaw and jalapenos. Fries and okra were cooked to death. Order was packed to-go. No utensils or sauces. Had to wait in line again to request sauce and ketchup. No cocktail sauce for shrimp. Bummer. Snagged an apricot Moms Fried Pie from the fuel desk. Flaky, soft, crust. No nasty glaze, or weird aftertaste, like mass-produced. If the store had some additional flavors, I would have stocked up.

This place is great. The pumps are fast. The price is great. Inside the store is about anything you could ever want. Several convenience stores could easily fit into this larger store. There are several fast food shops. To me the best one by far as Churchs Chicken. They are currently running their Smokehouse Chicken special. You cant go wrong making a stop here.

Loved the store n it was super duper clean . Very nice ! The clerk was very considerate n applied great courtesy. Top generous! Road ranger knows the people they hire.. Im my opinion that is very important because people that are motivating and treat the costumer with positive attitudes. Makes the costumers day ! Thank you road ranger for your awesome work. I usually like Churchs chicken, this location though has been the worse Ive had. Service was good, okra and biscuits were nicely made. Unfortunately I did not notice the rest of the food until I had left. Chicken strips were rock hard, jalapeño poppers were burnt and hard also. Disappointed with the food tbh.

Great place to stop on our road trip. Clean facility with friendly staff. Service was quick and there are 2 adjoining resturaunts so we were able to gas up and eat. Definitely a plus! I am recommending it for sure!

Great place for dinner, breakfast, lunch. Has Churches Chicken, Dickies BBQ and many options to choose from on the store side. This place has anything you need during your travels or just something you need for your home. They are stocked with items for truck drivers. They have variety of lots of healthy snack options for your dietary needs. Discounts on lots of items if you buy 2 or more. Bathrooms are always clean. Staff is very friendly and professional service. Gifts galore to choose from and very fair prices. Stop by and see them you will not be disappointed with your trip.

Come by here every so often, really enjoy having a bite at Dickeys BBQ and the people here are wonderful. The shower experience was wonderful. I will continue to enjoy my visits here.

Not bad for a truck stop. Good place to stop if your travelling. They have good gas prices. A large selection of drink, snack, food, electronic accessories, or nick knacks. There is a Churchs Chicken, and Dickies BBQ in the facility as well. The bathrooms are clean. It is a newly built facility so hopefully they keep it maintained.

Just a quick stop in while traveling. Station was very clean, well lit, and as secure as you could expect from a highway side gas station. Looks like they had a good looking kitchen and youre usually touristy items along with road and travel necessities. Would not hesitate to use it again.

Cashier was rude and acted as if I was bothering her. After spending $70 on fuel and snacks... I am taking my money elsewhere.

For a truck stop. They know nothing about trucking. Churches and Dickeys not even open at 930 in the morning. Hope I get a chance to deliver to them some day. Im sure I will be closed at delivery time. This place is nothing more than a pilot travel center in disguise. Over priced and will not stay this clean. History has proven that.

I didnt go inside, but great place to crash for the night. It wasnt full of noisy trucks going by because of theres an entrance for the big rigs. VERY lit up. Felt safe here. There is a Churchs Chicken and a Dickys BBQ, neither were open at 10pm. I would stay here again!

No different than a loves or a flying j. Spend $500 on fuel and cant even get a free drink. Staff is cold and unfriendly. The only good thing is large parking lot.Go up 35 a little ways and get a free meal, shower and friendly service with a smile.

Customer service staff poor. No smiles. Ignore interaction. Negative looks. One lady walked away from me without a word when I approached the Danish cabinet. One man attendant repositioned himself to make it obvious that he was watching me on the isle. Shoplifting? Really jerk? I am one of my companys best big rig drivers and have two awards. Dress in collared shirts, pants and safety boots. Why are some the staff so angry about something?

Ive been driving by this Gas Station for some time and finally pulled in. Being right off the Highway getting gas was easy. The coffee was great and I didnt have to wait in a long line to check out. Cinnabon is available and fresh in the morning.

Store is clean and staff is friendly. Items are way overpriced even for a truck stop and the coffee is not so good. This only applies to the convenience store side. I did not visit the restaurants.

Super hot coffee. Good hot dogs/ sausage. Hot bar and BBQ.

Clean. And had great sandwiches to choose from. Just wish they had some of their hot cinnamon rolls cooked and not just boxed to take home.

Did some research on the knives they sell, the Gerber knives are awesome buy dont buy them here! One of the knives I looked at looked overpriced so went to the Gerber website and I was right. Website sells it for $29.99 this place sells it for $79.99. I Can Only Imagine what the rest of the prices are like. The restaurants close I like 8:30 or 9 every day of the week. Probably the last time Ill stop here

The customer service is great.They have a churches chicken and a Dickies bbq inside, the BBQ is great, I havent had much experience with the churches. They have all kinds of drink specials and points you can earn.They have there own little taco bar, and we always went through there around 4 pm so it was a little rough looking, but I would like the opportunity to try it when it was fresh sometime, because the ladies make the tortillas fresh while you wait.

Stopped here real quick to grab breakfast and was on my phone while in the store. Somehow this must have offended the cashiers even though I wasnt in line because I kept receiving unwanted glares. I finally order a breakfast taco and got a soda and stood a minute until someone finally came to ring up my items when no one was in line. Got to my truck and about broke my damn tooth on a piece of potato that was burnt black and hard as a rock. Service and food was highly slacking and not welcoming.

The only place I know that tried to sell me 3 tablespoons of beans on a tortilla for $3.00. talk about greedy. Get off at exit 343 and visit the truck stop there. Great Mexican food at a normal price with great hospitality.

Its a great truck stop, very clean. They have showers there. Theres a Churchs Chicken there and a Dickeys Bbq. The staff is very prompt and friendly. The shopping area is very well stocked.

Store looked great. Had the BBQ It was very good. A little high priced.Payed for a shower, big mistake price 12.00. Hot water in sink wasnt hot enough even after I ran it for 20 min. Bearly got the chill off it. That was on full hot. The shower was a little better it was tollarable. About like a warm cup of tea. The soap holder in the shower was mounted upside down. You put anything on it and it slid off. And you get only 1 small town to dry on. Told the girl at the register about the items of issue, she said its been like that.Over PRICED AND UNDER MAINTAINEDTHEY JUST DONT GIVE A DAM.

Restrooms always clean has Churchs chicken, BBQ joint, pizza many food to choose from more than enough pumps one stop for all travel needs AND DONT LET ME FORGET TO MENTION IT HAS A CINNABON AVAILABLE NICE HOT AND SMELLS LIKE HAPPINESS

Road Ranger 276 Waco TX. 061519 GrievanceTo whom it may concern,I (fleet owner operator) went to use a pen on the counter meant for customers. when Angela at store 276 in Waco TX came over yelling at me with me son. she was yelling at me about a pen I was using it to fill out lotto slips. there were no pencils or pens on the lotto station.I told her if it was an issue she could take the pen and find me a pencil. she said Im not going to argue with you just take it.i explained that she can take the pen since she was yelling and pressed and find a pencil. she stated no.then she pulled out 2 fresh pens from behind the counter. I asked for a manager and she stated there was none until Monday.Angela in a blue cinnibun in shirt then went to the back. when she came back up to the cinnibon counter she took her name badge off so I couldnt get her name.I saw a man walking out of the office and asked if he was a manager and he said yes.I explained the situation and he stated she straight up lied to me because hes in all day. he then mentioned they have had a lot of complaints about her being aggressive and argumentative with customers. that he needed me to write a formal complaint so it can be escalated.she yelled at me over a pen as if I was going to steal it. she literally came from the other side of the store just to be beligerant with me. we are truck drivers and purchased desiel as well. I am applaud that if they have had so many complaints. why is she still working there?Thank you,Jazzmine H.

This place is how all truck stops should be built. Clean with not run of the mill truckstop food. There needs to be a lot more of these around.

They have kombucha. Bathrooms were pretty nice. They have showers.

I stop in on 11-20 just to get gas.. The lady at was cashiering acted like she couldnt talk she just used her hands. After that I went over to Churches for chicken the line was long but they were really nice. So I got my food after 10 min and went to the car and started to eat my food it was full of grease and tasted funny the biscuit was full of honey like it was almost wet. Two hours later we couldnt stay out the bathroom. Went to the hospital and they said we were food poisoned.. I will never stop at this place again.. CHURCHES IS NASTY!!
