After 18 months of not shopping, every store is a bit overwhelming. ULTA is even more so...in a good way. There was help when I asked, but wandering around taking in all the brands & colors was wonderful.

Plenty of associates but none would make eye contact. There were probably 8 at the front who frankly could care less. A cashier way off to the left gave a scripted “Welcome to Ulta”. The associates at the door were preoccupied with “deep” conversation. Went to a competitor in the same center and purchased what we needed.

I made a same day appointment for cut and color. Cali was so friendly. He listened to what I liked and didnt like about my hairstyle, helped choose a great adaptation of it, and created the best color I have had on my hair. Day 2 and its still gorgeous! Thank you Cali!

I had an appointment scheduled, and due to an unforeseen issue Cali stepped in and took care of me. He did an incredible job! Based on my experience I wouldn’t hesitate to make an appointment with him. such a great experience all around!

Order for curb pick up. It was ready within a few minutes and they were quick to come out. The employee who brought my order was super nice.

I made a last minute appointment for the weekend after not being able to go to two other places recommended to me, and honestly Im so glad! I had a haircut and balance from Cali and its perfect. I gave him vague ideas of what I wanted and he was able to really fix up my janky layers and bring the color of the balayage just where I like it. He was funny, friendly, and I would absolutely recommend him!

This was my first visit in Ulta. I was there at least 20 minutes and not 1 associate asked me if I needed help after walking past me several times trying to find product. They had no problem asking none African American women for help. Finally an African American associate asked me if I needed help. I told her about it and she apologized and assisted me with products. I probably wont be back there. Im extremely disappointed at my treatment.

Well.. I took my daughter here for some stuff for her hair. I didnt know I was going to need a second mortgage to pay for her stuff. Staff is very helpful to the best of their ability . Despite the price they do have what you need ..

IF YOURE RECEIVING STORE-CREDIT FOR A RETURN READ: I recently received in-store credit (pictured here) for a return and went to purchase items online. Unfortunate to find out you can ONLY use this credit physically in the store and not toward an online purchase for in-store-pickup. Very frustrated and in light of being safe during the COVID-10 pandemic, will choose otherwise next time Im looking to try new beauty products.

They have every brand of makeup there is. They have sales too. Asked for help and got it fast. They are quick and knowledgeable. Will be back.

I was asked by 4 staff if I needed assistance within first 20 minutes shopping. .very rare and the ones that did assist were very knowledgeable on products. Very hard to find cosmetics a little pricey.

My home away from home. Excellent and helpful staff! I did feel like I was being hovered over by staff on the floor. I was asked if I was still finding everything four times by the same staff member in less than 10 minutes. She was very nice, however, but I did make me want to finish up and leave so I didnt get pestered again.

Madison, chelsi, and Niki all worked together to try and get a return done for me and were so patient while trying to get me my full amount back. It ended up not happening due to a store wide system error but I really appreciated them trying for me and being so sweet about it

They were real nice. They showed me where the things I was looking for right for the bat. I was really happy with that it was the last one left after that one they were out until next year!

I had went in before covid hit and I remember employees talking about a women who had stepped in, which is not professional I should have just left. Well anyway I came to see if they were able to do my eyeshadow for whatever charge on my birthday but I understand they are not able to do such service because of Covid, its just the way I was treated and talked to that makes me not feel welcomed. Instead of a hi how are you or may I help you, it was more like I was treated differently then the customer infront of me checking out, but its cool Im glad Sephora is still around and they always treat me fair.

The male manager at this store is very unprofessional. Rolling eyes and making customers feel like they are an inconvenience. I am very confused as to why companies have individuals like this represent them. Terrible experience. I love Ulta but will not be returning to this location because of the encounter.

Theyve got a good selection, but it seemed a bit unorganized to me. Higher end brands right up with drugstore brands. But its alright. At least I can get some of my stuff I usually buy in other stores out of town there.

They always have amazing customer service and are always so friendly and helpful. If they dont have what Im looking for in stock they are always more than willing to order it for me.

First time at the Salon, Jamie helped me fix my haircut that I had been doing myself! Friendly, professional and clean salon. Great experience overall.

I only go for the nail polish collection and fingernail implements. Those are great. I cant speak to the other products although I was surprised to find a product called, Acne Starter Kit.

I absolutely love this place! This is my go-to place for all things beauty. The store is always well kept, and the customer service is terrific. They are always ready and willing to help you find anything you are looking for or make suggestions. I definitely recommend Ulta!

My mother in law is in from Montreal and needed her hair done. We are new to the area and have always used Ulta in Frisco. I called Ulta and they were able to get her in today which we appreciated. I asked for someone skilled to work with elderly...my husband took her and asked for a wash and set. She was saturated from the wash and other than being clean...her hair looked exactly the same as when she left here. It was not curled and fluffed. It was flat with a teeny lift on her bangs. How can you let a lady leave the salon looking this way...anyone can tell her hair was not curled...will never use this salon again!

Massive shout out to Casey in the Salon! It has been a while since I actually walked out of a salon completely happy and continued to stay happy a couple days after my service! My hair was destroyed. We are talking Leopard spots left from another stylist and fried like no other. Casey took care of it with no issue!! She is very professional, kind and very knowledgeable when it comes to her profession!

Didnt enjoy being followed by the Ulta guy so I left.. I have anxiety lmao

3 customers in a 3k square foot area and they require me to wear a face covering which by federal, state and local laws are technically illegal to wear and secondly breathing carbon dioxide is harmful to the lungs and brain. Wearing masks is a harmful action and is an enforceable rule

I made an appointment to get my daughters haircut. When we arrived the stylist told me she couldnt cut her hair unless it was straight. I suggested she cut it wet since we dont apply heat to her hair, she said her curls needed to be flat-ironed. She suggested I go somewhere else. I would suggest Ulta hire stylist that can cut curly hair no matter what type of curls you have. I know her real issue was that my daughter is mixed with Mexican & Black and she only felt comfortable if it was laid flat. News flash .... Everybody doesnt have those curls. #rookie

I want to thank Brittany for helping me with my hair. I truly love it. Thank you for fixing my hair after a bad cut and dye job on Saturday. I will be coming back to see Brittany.

I just followed my colorist, BRITTNEY, from her previous salon and couldnt be happier. Always natural looking and my hair is always healthy and in great shape. She is super pleasant and very professional.Color work is time consuming so if you have to sit in a chair that long to look great, Brittney is the person you want to chat with. Her recommendations on everything current are always spot on. Also, the new salon is amazing. Lively and fun and very stylish. I followed her from Temple Texas.

Things were hard to find. Asked and they tried to explain where it was at instead of taking me to it.

They are very helpful and down to earth in this ulta! Theres usually a wait to check out, but its never too bad!

I had my hair done yesterday by Casey Vasquez at the salon Ulta in Waco and absolutely LOVE how professional she is and how honest she is with things that would best compliment you! I HIGHLY recommend using her for all your hair care needs as she is by far the best stylist Ive ever come in contact with.. Casey was/is very knowledgeable on color and how best to care for your hair to keep it in the best health possible.. I personally will not go anywhere else!

Everyone here was very helpful! I wanted to suprise my wife with some makeup for her birthday (I know, I rock right?) Multiple girls helped me find the perfect products! The store was a little messy, but I went in the late afternoon on a weekend, there were a bunch of kids. Even though the store was busy cashiers kept the line moving quickly, I maybe waited 4min.

Loved the massive product selections,due to wonderful signage was able to easily find what we were looking for and many other items on our wish list. Our cashier was absolutely wonderful, we are already talking about our next visit.

There is a lot of product in that store. I mean a lot but there is never anyone asking if you need help. So I go to the check out and ask if someone can help me find a certain product and the gentleman that was at the register acted like I just asked him to take off his clothes or something. I will say he was very nice but he seemed really stressed and unprepared like I was messing with the register/traffic flow which I will bet is of no fault of his own. He tells me there is someone that can help me and points in a direction and mentions a name. I tell him that I was unable to find anyone and that seems to freak him out a bit as well. And trust me, I spent a lot of time looking around, long enough that 2 or 3 people would have had time to say Can I help you find anything? Mr. Cash Register man then pulls out his phone and does attempt to try to find the product I need. Note: The brand I used changed/updated their item numbers so I was unable to find the shade I needed even though I had a pic of the make up base I use on my phone. At this point Mr. Cash Register man does the right thing and walks me to the sales/product area but instead of letting the girl know I needed help when she was available he again points to her and states she can help me and takes off. The girl was great. Very helpful, patient and kind. Even asked if she could color match me which was nice. If the right salesperson got a hold of me, trust me, they could talk me into buying a lot of product in that store. There are a lot of things I would love to try but I have no idea how to use. Every time I go in that Damn store I ended up spending over $100 so I wish they had more people to help. Once you get to the cash register the customer service is A+ but anytime before that, not so much.

Ulta beauty is my favorite place to shop, however this store is difficult. 4 months ago, i would of put 1star because of employee attitudes, cleanliness, and leaving testers for products that they no longer carry. However, the past two times i have gone in, the attitudes have been better, and cleanliness has improved. But, there is no one to greet you. Make up is confusing, finding brands/products/colour ftting is confusing. No one asks you if you would like assistance and in order to get assistance, you need to seek out a associate, whom cant be found most of the time.This location has gotten better, but still needs a lot of improvement.

They have a large selection of prestige cosmetics as well amazing sale items!The staff is always very knowledgable and has given he great recommendations of new products.Casey at the salon is a master! I have trusted her with my hair for over a year and she has always done an exceptional job. From color to cut, I highly recommend her. You will not get any better!

Ive shopped here many times and unfortunately have always had a bad experience. The customer service is terrible. The employees are often too busy playing with makeup or are all standing behind the registers talking. Every time Ive asked for help locating a product Ive been treated like its a major inconvenience. Ive been sighed at, ignored, and have had eyes rolled at me. Ive also apologized to an employee for bothering her after she located a product for me and she sighed. Customers shouldnt feel bad for asking employees to do their job. They are almost always out of stock of items that the website says they have in stock at this store. Since theyve opened Ive pointed this out to employees and been told the website is incorrect and you cant trust it which baffles me. As a huge corporation, why havent they fixed it? Ive worked for very small companies who have had very accurate online stock inventory so why cant a huge corporation get it right. Dont waste your time, go to Sephora where they actually have items in stock that they claim to have, treat you with respect, and go out of their way to help you.

Helpful staff. Full service with hair dressers and waxing. So many choices, impossible to leave without picking up more items than intended.

I took my girlfriend to get her hair done and when we got into the car she said her head was burning we didn’t think anything of it. 2 weeks later we noticed a half dollar size bald spot on her head. We got it checked out by the doctor and he said it was from the chemicals. I called up there asking for my money back because they messed up my girls hair. They said that they couldn’t give a refund. I understand accidents happen. The review isn’t for the bald spot the review is for the fact that they wouldn’t give my money back.

I have never had a bad experience in this store, and Im in it every six weeks to visit my stylist, Raven. She is magical. My color and cut are perfect for every season. There has never been a rude employee.

I went here March 10th to look for some hair products. The sweetest, most educated girl greeted me. Her name is Chelsea, and she is a DELIGHT. She recommended some GREAT hair products for me! My waves stay in all day now, I mean ALL day, and they smell AWESOME. She is now my go-to girl, and any of my friends who have hair needs, they will go straight to her. I am so thankful that she helped me find not one, but THREE products for my hair, and let me tell you, AMAZING. I am so pleased, and I shall do business as long as she is there! THANK YOU, ULTA! Customer service was great. Good prices on a lot of makeup and perfume. I saw a particular lipstick on IG and wanted to check it out. I ended up buying the lipstick and an eyeshadow palette and got free stuff!

I visited the Waco location Sunday. Gwen helped me and she was great. I vaguely described a product that a friend had, and she knew exactly what I was talking about, even though I really didnt. Haha! I learned a little and will be back.Very helpful and a pleasure. Thanks.

I went to the store because I needed a service of blow my hair. I waited 5 minutes because the employee at the salon was sweeping the floor. When she finished she came and ask me what service I needed. I said a sampling and drying my hair. But she couldnt give the service because she had appointment. There was no person waiting for the service. I used to go Ulta in North Carolina and they have me the service without appointments. I travel at different states because of my job. But I won’t go to Ulta again. She didn’t ask me if I needed the service tomorrow.

One of the girls there were completely rude to me on my birthday. I went in to receive my birthday gift, as a makeup lover on their birthday would. She had such a bad attitude and did not believe it was my birthday because I didnt recieve an email (I have been shopping at Ulta for a long time and just have not updated the email I used back then) but I did update my phone number a while back. So I gave them that and my profile was brought up, the lady was still being completely rude saying she didnt want to give me the birthday gift without that email. I mean, I get it, but they had my profile and the correct phone number. Ive even been platinum before. It is ridiculous to be so rude to a customer, let alone on their birthday. Also, it is a sample mascara, there is no need to treat me like trash over something so stupid.

Shop online -- the deals are better and customer service is exemplary. Customer service at the store is spotty, and theyre not always stocked. I havent been in the store in over a year, but I always shop online every month and am a Platinum member!

Brittany has cut my hair twice now and she is WONDERFUL- and very affordable for the quality of service she gives. A+++ my new hair lady.

Does anyone even work here? I’ve stopped shopping at Ulta but I decided to pop in cause I had extra time. I was in there for 30 minutes and no one greeted me, asked me if I needed help, or checked on me. Two girls were just standing around talking about their latest purchase, completely ignoring their customers. This has apparently become the norm here. The shelves are an absolute disaster, so good luck finding what you want when you go. You’re better off going somewhere else or ordering online.

This location is iffy. Will they have it in stock? Will someone be at the register? Will the line be long? Will anyone be around to help? I order online more and more for these reasons.

Most staff is slightly rude. If you are black you will be treated bad! (Poor customer service, staff will barely speak, manager Regina is equally as bad as the rest of the staff) However, Devany (skin therapist/Aesthetician) is BEYOND amazing. She gives awesome tips and tricks for great skin care and products. Go let her amazing work put you in a completely tranquil state while making your skin brand new! I will be back!**UPDATE!**Unfortunately, Devany is no longer at this horrible place. 😔😔I can officially say I won’t be back. If I were you, I’d avoid this location!
