These guys are seriously incredible! From the very first time meeting with them we knew they were going to be the people building our forever home. I hand drew a floor plan I had my heart set on and Gary was able to create it exactly!! Melissa and Meredith helped us visualize and customize the end product and Kevin and his crew executed it to perfection. Our home was completed just before the craziest winter weather Texas has ever seen, so if there was ever a test on the construction of a home; that was definitely it - and we came through it without any issues! These guys are professional, kind and treated us like we were their only client even though I know they are working with multiple other families at the same time. So, if you are looking to build modular, Modular of Texas is definitely the way to go! I cant thank them enough for literally building our dream.

You will NOT find better people to build your dream home! They worked very hard to create the perfect floor plan for my family. Their houses are absolutely beautiful and 100% custom built! Mr. Gary, Melissa, Meredith and Mr. Kevin treated us like family, and are some of the kindest, most generous people I’ve ever met! No response...You replied to this review very quickly. My initial contact was about a month ago, and I am still waiting on estimate/proposal.Uodate: After they kept me waiting for a month, I received an email, As of today, we received a significant price increase.  I know that the lumber price has been increased, but it is wrong way to do business.

Excellent experience from start to finish! The team at Modular Homes of Texas took care of all those details I didnt know how to handle - like permits and hurricane zones - so that all I had to focus on was choose my building. Their selection of materials was good and I found that if I wanted something not in their standard play list they were more than accommodating. Construction was fast and exceeded my expectations. My modular home is gorgeous! These are professionals and downright great to do business with. I would recommend them to all.

Stop posting so many fake ratings. If the person posted one review in their entire lifetime, it is obvious the account was created by you for the sole purpose of boosting your google rating. Its dishonest and simply annoying since everyone knows to skip one-review posts. So stop it, please

We purchased our home almost 2 years ago. I can not speak highly enough about Kevin and his team. He always answers my calls, and his folks come out and take care of any issues we have had. Which to be honest have been pretty minor. Now I know you can not please everyone all the time but they certainly go out of there way to make things right. Check them out and speak to others who have had homes by these folks for awhile.

I want to start by saying The entire Modular Homes of Texas crew was wonderful. They took our ideas & helped us build our dream home. My wife had lots of questions during the process & she received prompt & helpful answers. Our home was completed on time & exceed our expectations. It was so nice to deal with a honest company. Kevin and his team go above and beyond to help where needed. They get things done in a timely fashion (Im very remote so that hard to do). Friendly and trustworthy. Definitely recommend. And Melissa at the office is simply the best. She wrangles those guys and keeps everything going. Love them.

I recently went for a visit and they were great! Answered all my questions, I was given a sweet gift just for coming in. Didn’t expect that. Beyond friendly. Excited about building my home with them.

I spoke with the owner. He took time with me even though, ultimately, we may not be able to do business. His customer service was impeccable and I would recommend doing business with this company.

As someone who does considerable research before scheduling appointments with potential builders, I have to say I am impressed with this team. They are real people working to provide a great home and finished product for their buyers. The first thing to point out is most other modular builders will require you to put money down to start drawing blueprints, Modular Homes of Texas does not. AND on top of it, Gary is in house, an owner and sits down with you to make sure the first draft is as close to your dream home as possible. Second, the way they engineer their foundation slab is vastly different than other modular builders. This makes a huge difference folks! We personally went onsite to one of their homes they were finishing and the quality of craftsmanship was right there with a custom builder. From a couple who has done a custom build in the past, I LOVED that the other owner of the company is onsite everyday ensuring quality and working with their construction crews. You will get exceptional service from real people who know and remember you by name from this group!

I came into the office today and received so much information and even a free gift just for coming in. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and when the time comes for us to build our dream home i will be coming back! Thank you Melissa for everything!

We absolutely love our home. We have been in it about a year & enjoy it more each day. It is very energy efficient & user friendly. We really love the crew they sent out to complete it, they were prompt & friendly. They took care of all the little things we requested & actually did more than we ever dreamed they would do. I was disappointed that they do not sell Mobil homes. I was in the market for a nice 49,995 to 55,000 home & after talking with them it appears they only build modular homes. But they sure were friendly folks & guided me to a local dealer. Thanks Guys!!!!!

05/14/2018..Hay Gary Strickland, Tim Usrey and Kevin Curtis! Thought I would UPDATE your readers on how lousy your service, quality and installations are. Yea...gonna do it by DATE. My last 8 updates seem not to help fix the 40 or so odd poor quality items I sent you via an EXCEL LIST. So... just read everyday on this site how poor and lousy your service is. Can I post a picture where you DUCT TAPED MY SEWER piping together under the HOUSE YOU INSTALLED? Or..what about the FARM SINK we agreed upon 5 months ago that is NOT INSTALLED. OR. the gas cook top that is a joke and, well, really, we should be cooking on a fire outside! YEA BUDDY... But..nice talking with you this morning. Nice you got the sheet I sent showing the 40 some odd items that your boys slopped in! NICE ORANGE FIRE PLACE! Yea man! Just like in the Bahamas!... but..no...here in Texas we dont like ORANGE FIRE PLACES. See the list? It is there! And. yea..sorry you had a computer glitch with excel. I spent 4 years in graduate school and, well, learning to get an MBA,,,I never had this issue on 9 different computers... BUT..>BUT what the heck man! I am sending you a book of high school excuses! My favorite is I took the list home and my dog peed on it!! GEEE! I stole one from you, Tim and Kevin!... Cant use that one on me!!
