Friday night - closing at 9 pm?? Had 5 different customers trying to come in at 9 and we were told the store is closing. We all drove right down the street to Lowe’s and got what we needed.I know COVID changed some things - but closing at 9 pm on a Friday?? Too early….

I absolutely love ❤️ shopping at this Harris Teeter location. Friendly staff.. speedy check out lines / extremely clean store! Great selections! Awesome prices. Well stocked.. I love how a Starbucks ☕️ is located inside the store! Definitely a great 👍🏽 place to shop..!! 💯

Most would consider this to be a high end store. Deli, meat & produce provide a feast for the eyes along with their ample selection of fresh products. Many gourmet-type grocery items not found at other stores. Store is clean, staff is helpful. (Im just a customer, no compensation or influence for this post)

I have been shopping this location since they opened. Not sure why anyone could negatively rate this location. Let us all remember that yes the employees are young and learning. I have met the store manager Leo several times while shopping. Leo is courteous and professional. I have never had any issues, but if I did, I am confident Leo would resolve the issue. Thank you HT employees and manager Leo.

Friday night subs are excellent! Cant beat the prices either!

If Im just going for a couple of things real quick, Ill go here because its close to my house. I hate their produce section though - I have seen so many flies, especially near the onions. Weve also received deboned and scaled salmon here, more than once, that had bones/and or scales still in them (I understand if its one bone, one time. Things happen. But this is more than once). However, the staff here is always quite pleasant.

One of my favorite place to shop, but seem like the face mask is not being worn by some of the staff. Overall service is great

Joanne in the floral department is a saint!!! Her customer service is unmatched. I called today regarding a big balloon i purchased 3 days ago that was deflating. She told me she could help me inflate it and we could look for replacements if there was any available. She took the time to look for any holes once she knew it was good she re-inflated it. I said thank you so much for all the help her response was delievered with the kindest response and smile I just want you to be happy. She defintely made my day. She needs to be treated well! @ Harris Teeter take care of this Gem! Give her a raise! ❤️

Upscale grocery shopping with prompt and pleasant service. Very good wine and beer selection as well.

HT has become my go-to place for grocery shopping because they generally have decent prices and theyre not as uptight as other grocery stores.

Very nice store with a lot of variety. It is considerably more expensive than other chains in the area. Some of their help need additional training.

The deli section is the worst of all Harris Teeters Ive been to. Disorganized and super slow second time that I just give up on my order. After it was taken I shopped all my groceries came only to watch them hand me everyones order but mine. I never had an issue with the heritage store. Id give them 5 stars but this one is awful. Unfortunately this one is closer to us. Id rather take the drive to Heritage than to waste my time and get frustrated at this one.

I came in here last Sunday (2/28) and had on crutches from a leg injury. A young man named Will I believe, offered to help me with my groceries. Needless to say, I was blown away with how friendly and sincere he was in offering me aid. I, refused his offer but I told him how appreciate I was.Later on, when I was leaving, I met him AGAIN in the parking lot, him taking carts back. He gave me a quick compliment and wished me well with my recovery... I didnt realize how much his words meant to me until I got into my truck.Will is an amazing employee, and just his presence alone has helped me greatly when I didnt know i needed it.Will, if youre reading this, you should look into getting a job in healthcare - youll make a killing it it.

Slow wifi. Theyve been out of the same stuff for weeks, so that sounds like a management problem to me. Generally shopping at this location is a good experience, but recently, its been slow and items you want are hard to find. Staff is very friendly.

Was in the store with my mom for approx 20 minutes during which time I saw at least 5 customers without any mask, and numerous others with masks down under their noses. Even worse, at least 5 employees with masks down under the nose. I asked an employee about this and she quickly responded I just do the magazines. I spoke with the cashier to ask about if they try to actually enforce their mask policy, to which she responded nope. all we can do is hang the signs and hope for the best. The cashier saw the customer right ahead of us with the mask down under his nose, even removing it to speak a few times and said nothing to him about it. I called after leaving and asked someone in customer service who informed me they do enforce their mask policy and that he would take care if it.Ill go ahead and add that their organic broccoli and cauliflower was completely molded. ew.Wont be going back there ever again as is not a safe place to shop.

My family went to the meat and fish department and they placed imitation crab (which most people with shellfish allergies use) in a slot directly next to the shrimp, divided by a small piece of metal, resulting in an allergic reaction for me. I wish they’d be more careful with cross contamination.

Terrible customer service and rude employees. One of the male employees seemed to be annoyed and rolled his eyes at me when I asked him for help in one of the aisles.

No mask, NO service. Made a special trip to stock up on certain in-store items only to find that current laws are not being properly enforced. Upon entering we immediately passed not one, but two people with ZERO masks present. This was not the only occasion, but highlights the issue. Their carts were full since they just checked-out. Were they refused service?... nope! Asked to leave?...nope! Even told about the requirement inside a retail establishment?... unlikely!The rules have changed because the world has changed. Just like any other regulation in business, the owners, mangers and employees must adapt, or perish. Do not act like big companies such as Amazon are the problem when smaller, but full resourced corporations like HT are dropping the ball.

Ok, Harris Teeter is a bit pricier than competitors, but they have the best meat sales. Common knowledge. Not sure about anyone elses experiences with local HTs, but the Harris Rd one is about as perfect as they get. Love this store! And guess what, I DO have an opinion on other local HTs. Mostly the one by Rex in Wakefield. I wont step foot in it. The one by Rex in Wake Forest has left me waiting, ignored me, blew me off, left me unacknowledged standing at a counter, you name it. Ive had cashiers simply walk away when it was my turn in line. Ive also had cashiers so engrossed in conversation with each other or other customers Ive had to wait 20 minutes for service. I stay just to walk out when I finally have their attention. Ok, enough of how bad the Rex HT is. The Harris Rd HT is a gem. Everyone is so nice. Service us fabulous!!! 10 stars!!!

I am very disappointed in this store that I have been a loyal customer since they first opened. They no longer stand behind their products and if a customer buys a product that is bad they will not let the customer return the product.I bought some ice cream that was store brand and had black mold on top of it when I opened it. I returned it and had to argue with customer service to get a refund. Very poor customer service!

Great Pharmacy!I have used Walgreens, CVS, Walmart’s, etc., & Privately owned Pharmacy’s, all of these that should be expert’s dealing with & assisting you with filling your prescriptions right? Compared to HT’s pharmacy & staff these other places I mentioned are amateurs compared to the service & guidance I received at this HT location in Wake Forest. Assistance with new meds, scheduling & grouping refills lessening your # of pharmacy visits, moving your prescriptions from other Pharmacy stores, & assisting you with ways to save costs using different free plans that are available that you may not be aware of, which was my case & was a blessing since our “new insurance” decided it would not pay for several of our family’s prescriptions. With the state of the world, as it currently is, so much unsure, stressful, & frustrating, all of these things mentioned may seem small to others, but having these things along with HT’s professionalism & kindness has been a breath of fresh air & very much appreciated by my family. Thank you HT Pharmacy! Luv the store overall, but thought they deserved a shoutout!

I will definitely Drive the extra miles to shop at Harris Teeter rather than Walmart they had everything and more you could possibly think of and it was a wonderful experience we have become a new Harris Teeter consumer I was so impressed and the prices especially of their meat was unbelievable for the first time in three months I bought myself a steak thank you Harris Teeter

Good food and mostly good prices. The only thing that would make it better is if they had an electric car charging station. Places that have these (like Whole Foods) keep me in the store longer spending money. Since buying an EV, I go out of my way to support shopping centers that have them. Free charge is a great incentive. This is where were headed, and retailers can support EV adoption, or become like Blockbuster video.

I used to shop at Harris Teeter all the time. I even paid the higher prices that they have because I enjoyed going there. I will not be returning the customer service is horrible. This is the second time they tried tp take my rewards points. When I email customer service to let them know what happened they talk down to me and treated me poorly. I will not be going back and neither will my friends or family.

Exceptional shopping experience.Some things that set Harris Teeter apart from the competition: super clean, almost never crowded, great produce, wide variety of meats and some are much cheaper here than elsewhere (for instance, we EXCLUSIVELY buy our Thanksgiving turkeys here), they have the best eggs Ive ever had in my life (Carols Heiloom Eggs - the naturally multi-colored ones), shopping with their VIC card provides discounts on select items and also racks up points for great discounts at their gas station, the gas station is super clean and low-priced (esp. with the VIC discounts), and staff is friendly. Moreover, when COVID-19 isnt wreaking havoc, this location is open 24 hours a day!A few negatives to keep in mind: many of their products are more expensive than in other stores and do not have VIC discounts to bring them lower (my wife and I try to keep tabs on specific items to typically purchase elsewhere), the store isnt very large so some of their product selection is limited, and their self-pay machines are pretty annoying because they constantly (and very sternly) reprimand you for not moving fast enough by saying Please place your item in the bagging area. Otherwise, we love it.

A great big name grocer that always works for your dollar. Fresh produce, great meat and fish selection and freshness..amazing made to order sandwiches..salad bars and olive bars that are always clean and bountiful..there hot food bar is always fresh and has amazing selections..but its always about who is behind the counter...heavy handed is good.. :-)

Clean store, peixea are okay but still a bit steep for some items. The customer service is usually pretty good and friendly staff. Produce has always been really fresh compared to other stores and the selection of items is what keeps me coming back.

They are open till 12am but cut all their registers at 10...didn’t realize that or I wouldn’t have brought my weeks worth of groceries to be checked out only to find the self check out was my only option then the guy running the self check out INSISTED he scan my stuff after I told him I’m good which was too much, and he was taking forever. Would NOT let me do my own thing. I usually don’t even post review like this but that was beyond annoying and ridiculous

Place always stinks like old fish. Would never buy seafood here, and Ive never bought meat here either. Rest of the store is fine, except they close all registers except self-serve late at night. Still pay high prices, but now you have to do everything yourself.

I was picking up my online grocery order because I dont go inside stores during this crazy time. The HT employees who bring out my groceries are always so friendly!

I love this store. Its very clean, great sale & clearance items, and staff is always friendly. Managers have always been super helpful and professional. And Kelly & Olivia at their Starbucks are the best - knowledgeable, always smiling & nice, and fantastic drinks. Their pharmacists have helped me so much over the last couple of months too - last minute fills, calling to transfer scripts, finding best affordable options.

I love this place. Has the best cold cuts from well know brands. Fruits and veggies the best. Beat Food Lion by a mile. I rather go there than Food Lion.

Once you have a VIC card and sign up your email address Food Lion does not beat the prices and youll via email their weekly sales add and your weekly free item. The HT people have always been super helpful and super kind, always with a smile! I do not work for HT either... Just being truthful!

I was in the store today at 9am on Tuesday april 21 i was talked to very very rude to by a worker Dami she didnt even want to take time to check my receipt and said to me let me give you this 3.00 that was rude.I told her i didnt want the money if I was wrong she didnt even chech the receipt for me.
