I would first like to say the guys at this location saved the day! Logan and Calvin were very kind and helpful and did everything they possible could to get me hooked up to a trailer and on my way. Logan ended up having to install a part and willing helped me even know his day was almost over. 5 star service! Thank you very much.

This has been my worst experience working with any company. I shipped a U-Box to this location. On my scheduled pick-up day it took three hours for someone to stop helping other customers who arrived after me, go to the warehouse with a forklift, find the box (which they had misplaced), and switch it with the wrong box that they had put on the trailer. When I came back with the empty box about an hour later, they told me to unhitch it myself, then they completely forgot to close my reservation. So now theyve been trying to charge me rent for an empty box for the past month, and I have to fix that too. To top it off, they just hung up on me both times I tried to call them. -5 stars.

I ordered U Boxes from this location. I called the phone number waited on hold for over an hour, scheduled the service. Drop 2 UBoxes at one location and scheduled the pickup to be delivered to the new home in two days. They were a day and a half late dropping the boxes. When the pickup was to take place another day and a half. They showed my boxes being going to be stored in their warehouse. Finally got that straightened out after another couple hours on hold.Called for pickup of empty boxes - question are they on a trailer. Answer NO. Pickup scheduled. Driver calls says he will be there in 40 minutes. Come home boxes are still sitting here 4 hours later. Call driver - oh they sent me out with a pickup because they said the boxes were in a trailer. 🤦‍♀️Call back another 1/2 hour on hold - they will not respond to email and live chat disconnects. Soonest they can get these off my property is now 4 more days later. No accountability, no integrity to keep their promises - even though you wait on hold for hours and their loop says “to keep our promises to you”.I would never recommend this service. Not will I ever utter the word UHaul again.

Good place to get the Rental truck I couldnt get in Henderson. Just a waisted time of 2hrs that delayed my day. The staff was great.

!WARNING!Your items are likely to be forgotten and left outside for a month and/or you will have to deal with rude employees with attitudes who really dont care.

The workers move at their pace. The office is all messed up by stating a “24 hr notice” but won’t pick up their phone. I called multiple times on Saturday Sunday and had to go in person to give them the notice. I had 2 U-boxes and unloaded one and was tired so I thought I could pick up the other U-box the next day . Unfortunately the employees here told me that they would have to call me when it’s ready And that they cannot give a timeframe. They aren’t there for the customer at all and one of the dudes in the office needs to go back to school and re-educate his forklift skills. You want a good review, do the work. The employees doing the load and unload were awesome picking up the slack from the front.

Is there a way to do a negative starts on a review? Made an appointment to have a hitch installed and when I showed up they informed me the part was on back order. Thats not the worst part, I was given the worst attitude by 2 of the employees as if their lack of communication was my fault. Quickly offering me a refund instead of helping me solve my issue. Turns out if they cancel your reservation you cant review them on their site. Clever way to keep a good rating. Please stay away from this people unless you absolutely have to.

We leased a utility trailer for a couple of hours. We had a great experience. Easy to hook up and easy to return.

Do not use this company!! They changed our reservation three times. The morning we were scheduled to pick it up they called to say they “didn’t have a truck” for us and we would have to drive an hour away to get one of the same size. Oh and for compensation? Nothing. Absolutely ridiculous.

Just having issues with UHaul in general. Cancelling reservations when you book through the app. Something needs to change with the app. If its not available then it shouldnt show as available. If you want to get it right, you have to call. This particular dealer was great. Its the overall company that sucks.

We rented a uhaul truck from UHaul moving and storage yesterday and it was completely full of someone else’s junk. We had to spend two hours finding a truck to put it in and take it back to the office. Nobody responded to phone calls and then they charged us $100 extra bc they “caught” us on the security camera dumping this trash in front of their office. They did not compensate the issue well, despite us having video proof and picture proof of the issue. Gerald was rude about it and left an angry voicemail about it.

Staff was nice. Very simple process for renting a storage unit. Facility is clean and I feel comfortable with my items being stored there.

Rented a UBox for a cross-country move. Had a great experience, aside from box being delivered to new address a day late - until they were supposed to pick up the empty box. They were scheduled to come back the next day, nobody showed up. Took two phone calls (and 20+ min on hold each time) for them to finally pick it up days later. A few days later, I get a phone call a driver is on the way to pick up the box - which was already picked up. I called back, confirmed the box had been picked up, guy apologizes and says hell update my account.Now the real fun starts - I start getting letters, emails, and phone calls about a balance due for storage. I called this location 8+ times trying to resolve - got through once, was told it was taken care of (it wasnt); second time I got through, was told a manager would call back (he didnt). Tried several other times, only to be on hold for 25+ minutes, or be hung up on. I also start receiving more notices from a different location, in Maryland (where I have never been), for the same account. Also try calling them multiple times, cant ever get through. Emails to both locations and [email protected] go unanswered.Finally got through to a customer service agent yesterday, who was only able to call the Maryland location and ask them to check on the issue - manager was supposed to call back today, and never did. Finally had to call Ubox support, wait on hold for another 30 minutes, and spend an hour and half on the phone with yet another agent who finally confirmed my account had been closed and balance discharged.I had a good moving experience until this fiasco. Would not recommend Wake Forest NC or Lexington MD locations for any moving services whatsoever.

In and out quickly. I went online did all of the preliminary paperwork and picked up a tow dolly. Was delayed by 1.5 hours in returning it on time. They gave me grace and didnt charge for the extra time. Ill go back!

Buyer beware. Take your own photos and document, document, document on your rental. My truck was damaged in a half dozen places that werent noted in U-hauls photos and damage assessment. Fortunately, they havent penalized me, but theyre clearly not working very hard on documentation.Also, covid practices are a joke. They want to be hard-nosed about masks, but handle licenses, keys, and trucks with no sanitizing practices of any kind. My truck clearly had not been cleaned or sanitized. If they really care about Covid, they need to spend less time worried about whether you have a garbage bandanna on your face and more time worried about cleanliness and equipment.

Great storage facility. The only reason I am giving it 4 starts and not 5 is that there are only 6 parking spaces at most to load and or unload your things into the units along with the fact that there are near enough carts it front for people to use. So you either have to wait for a cart or carry things to your storage unit and depending on where your unit is in the building it can be a trek.

Overnight parking in front of the gate. Fcfs starting at 9am. Relatively quick unloading. Will deliver here again. The customer service was excellent

Clean and secured. We only had to use them for a short time but would definitely use them again if needed.

No common sense, no professionalism and zero masks or gloves the 4 times visited BUT due to Covid-19 they throw anything RIGHT AWAY with zero delay even when painfully obvious it was NOT trash. Even thou my mistake completely, the human factor went out the window. No lost and found. No call nothing. My family runs a uhaul in another state, they call and give you the chance to retrieve when Obviously NOT TRASH. Moving can be tough. If it was a diamond ring I am sure they would have kept it. Customer service 0. They are so busy they do not care.

Wow. I rented this Uhaul for one day. It was picked up and dropped on same day. I was charged an extra $20 as a convenience fee to drop it off 4 hours after I picked it up. Uhaul has informed me 7 days later that they charge $20 convenience fee to drop off after hours as of recently. Where was I to store a gigantic Uhaul over night, especially when Im getting charged by the mile and I live over 45 miles away. Where was I supposed to put this thing? And the paint huffing rep who I spoke to on the phone smh

Got me in and out quickly! Rental of a nice tandem flat trailer with ramp took only minutes and reasonably priced. Check it. Was equally fast and friendly.

When looking for storage options, i always check price first. In this case, being brand new, they had a move in special. What really made it special was the kind smile i got when i came in, and the feeling I had when I left. They took care of me start to finish and even gave me some extra services on the house.

I called and asked if they had a 14 truck available, and the man told me maybe. I asked if he could check for me. He then asked for my phone number and my email address so that he could further assist me. I politely asked him to first confirm that a truck was actually available there at the location first, then I would happily give him those personal details. He seemed annoyed by that logic and hung up on me, with zero explanation. I called back 3x and nobody answered. His name is Tom.

Its a bit of a schlep from anywhere outside of Wake Forest, but they have a solid fleet and often are able to be flexible if there is a certain model of vehicle which is currently unavailable to rent.
