Ordered a sofa in January understanding that there was a delay in the manufacturing process and that I probably wouldnt get delivery until August or September. Very pleased to be notified in July that it was ready for delivery and that delivery could be scheduled in 3 days. So pleased with the sofa that was delivered and with the delivery service that brought it.
La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries has a wonderful and diverse selection of furniture. The quality is excellent and sturdy material. My only disappointment which is huge is that the furniture is delivered without a box, which I was told by the salesmen, that it would be. They wrapped the furniture was wrapped in light weight plastic. My furniture is in storage for a few months. I advised La-Z-Boy would ship it to me in a box. It was only at the time of delivery did I find out otherwise.
La-Z-Boy furniture gallery in Waldorf, MD took great care of us. We were looking for a new power lift chair for my father in law. Everyone from the sales person, cashier, to customer service were outstanding. My wife was so impressed that she said all of our new furniture will be from La-Z-Boy where ever we end up living. She said she will find one.
The purchasing experience was pleasant and the salesperson was excellent. However, the delivery experience was terrible. I received a call informing me that the furniture was ready for delivery and to call the store where we purchased to make final payment. We called several times and left no less than five messages. After not receiving any response, my wife went to the store and was treated rudely by staff. Once final payment was made the furniture was released for delivery. The delivery personnel were pleasant, however they lost control of our furniture as they were coming through our sliding glass door and scratched the door beyond repair. We will not be buying furniture from Lazy Boy again. Reported the above to customer service and still have not received a call about resolution.

I selected a chair in the show room in the Waldorf store. I selected a wall recliner not a rocker and blue. I had to wait two maybe 2 1/2 months for delivery.I received an automated call that my chair was ready for delivery and to call store call the store no answer left message no response I called back again and got a person who scheduled my delivery when I asked him a timeframe for the day he told me I had to wait for the driver to call and tell me what time.When the delivery drivers came they brought me a rocker recliner in beige. Color wasn’t offputting so I accepted the delivery and I’m not unhappy with the rocker.Technically nothing correct about the situation. I thought bait-and-switch happened from ad to store not order to delivery.

Natalie was great, but I had a hard time reaching her when calling the store- Waldorf. Customer service could be improved there! I had to come into the store to ask my questions- fortunately she was there and we worked together.

I ordered a couch and a love seat in January. It was supposed to be here in March it still is not here am told its being delayed till sometime after July. I just want my money back now.

I tried for 2 weeks to get someone to answer the phone. I left multiple messages on each extension with details of what I needed. No one ever returned my calls. I finally called the Fredericksburg VA store and Corrine went out of her way to help me.Turns out my chair has been sitting at the warehouse and no one bothered to let me know. Not the Waldorf store nor the warehouse. Waldorf still hasnt returned my calls. Poor customer service.
We spent about 3 hours in the store with Christine in Waldorf. She was superb!! We’re anxious to get our sectional sleeper pieces, end tables and ottomans. We can’t imagine a better place to shop. Expertise is appreciated

La-Z-Boy of Waldorf MD is great, everyone is super helpful and knowledgeable. The sales manager Christine helped me through the entire process of picking out exactly what I wanted, to ordering, and verifying that I was completely satisfied with my visit at La-Z-Boy. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for furniture after that experience!
The furniture is beautiful but some of it isn’t mine. They delivered the wrong furniture and now I have to wait until someone contacts to try and get the right furniture delivered. I understand mistakes happen but what I don’t understand is waiting so long for it to be rectified.
I purchased two leather reclining sofa chairs from Lazy boy and received them 4 months later, one of the chairs had cuts and scratches on it so I contacted the stores fix it guy and he recommended a new chair free of charge, another 4 months later and I still have not received a new chair, I made several calls and spoke with many in customer service with all saying the chair will be here soon, this is terrible to all that are involved.

Pat was very helpful without being too pushy. There was a small problem with my custom order but Lori stepped in and I was able to complete my order. I was a little concerned about being in a retail store during the COVID-19 pandemic but everyone used proper protocols and I felt safe. The only down side to the buying experience was the length of time before the recliner would be ready for delivery but I knew it would take time before hand. It is a result of the pandemic. Highly recommend the sales staff and La-Z-Boy in Waldorf, MD.
The staff was very helpful and even if it’s shutting down for redesign they still had quite a bit of furniture in the store. I got asked if I needed assistance as soon as I walked in.
The wait was long due to COVID but the delivery team was great, professional and they used all the safety requirements. Showed us that all the mechanical parts worked and the pieces were placed where I wanted them.
Amazing service, great experience, highly recommend. Lauren was the best and helped me get exactly what I wanted without trying to upsell. She helped show me all the options, timelines, and floorplans. I am excited to receive my sectional! She even followed up with suggestions for other furniture pieces (with no pressure!) that would complete the room beautifully.

La-Z-Boy needs better customer relations. I could never get a telephone answer or call back as to why my furniture was delayed two months. Yeah I know Covid-19. Well that would be fine if you called, texted or emailed me or better still responded to my calls.
As soon as I walked in I was greeted by Angela who was extremely helpful. She took the time to explain to the layout of the store, brought me to each of the items I was asking about, and showed me all the fabric choices. She even suggested a much better looking recliner to fit the style of the sofa that I liked. I was extremely impressed by her customer service and the store overall. We will definitely be coming back to this location for any of our future furniture needs.
Staff is friendly and their in store designer, Quintin is awesome. Nailed the design for many rooms in my house with just a few pieces of input like colors, ambiance and style I was going for. Price point was also good based on quality of product. I still have a sofa and chair I am using in a second home that are both well over 10 years old. Shows the durability of the product!!

My husband and I had a wonderful & helpful experience with La-Z-Boy. The salesperson, Angela was great. She didnt try to push anything on us or try to get us to spend more money. She was very conversational and down to earth. La-Z-Boy has great furniture, but if it wasnt for the sale, we wouldnt be able to afford the furniture. Their pricing is high which is why I gave it only 4 stars instead of 5.

I dont know where to start. We ordered our furniture now going on 16 weeks ago. I understand we are in a pandemic so I have tried to be patient. We were initially told it would be 12 weeks for delivery which would have put us about a week before thanksgiving. We were hoping for delivery by then but we were not holding our breath. My wife called the week before to see if we would receive delivery before thanksgiving and we were told we would receive our furniture on the 30th of November. We were disappointed but we remained patient. We then received a call from la z boy on the 20 th of November telling us that the fabric we had picked out in August was out of stock and we we have to choose another fabric. We asked why werent we called earlier, of course no one could answer that question. My wife went to the store and picked out another fabric. No one apologized for the mistake that they made. It is now 12/08 and we still have not received our furniture. My wife called the store again today and she was told that one sofa was in but the sectional was not and would not be in until sometime in March. We were told in order to receive delivery of the sofa we had to pay our entire balance in full even though they could not give us an exact delivery date of the sectional.The sales agent, the sales manager and the store manager were all happy when we placed the order but no one has been helpful since. We were planning to order a couple of other pieces from them but will be looking elsewhere. I rarely take the time to write a review this long but if I can help somebody avoid this mistake if would be worth the time spent.Update Feb 28,2021 Still waiting. Now giving an April delivery date. I don’t know how there are so many positive reviews.
We’ve shopped at this particular La-Z-Boy in Waldorf for over 20 years, love the quality of furniture and lasts a long time and doesn’t wear out over time like inexpensive furniture. Our main complaint, and by the way, we just bought an entire Living room set for our new retirement home, the customer service is nothing like it once was years ago. We ended up getting our living room set in three (3) different deliveries, not what we were told when we first were looking and bought. The first delivery only brought us a third of our furniture and they had no idea why the rest was not on their truck. So, needless to say, a couple trips to the store to inquire about what was going on. We talked with different people on our visits, never the sales lady who originally sold us the furniture.....very frustrating. They never called us when the furniture arrived at their warehouse, I always had to follow up to find out it had been there. Long story short, customer service is not what it once was.......I’m being nice.......we still love the furniture they make and won’t let this experience deter us from at least considering La-Z-Boy in the future!
The store has a wide assortment of well made furniture. I know from a 2005 purchase of a sofa, loveseat, chair with ottoman, coffee table, and lamps that the quality is good. However, this time I found the sales associates to be unhelpful, lackadaisical, and unmotivated. When my husband and I went to the store in September 2020, they really couldn’t be bothered to assist us until we told them that we wanted to purchase a recliner. It was a custom recliner, so we were prepared for an 8 week wait. The woman who wrote up our ticket kept removing her mask while we were within 6 feet of her. Then when we received an email that our recliner was ready to be delivered, we could never reach a live person at the Waldorf, MD store to set up the delivery. I left 3 voicemails and finally contacted La Z Boy’s corporate office to ask for their help to set up my delivery. The corporate office contacted the Waldorf, MD store to set up our delivery; otherwise, it never would have happened. In short, if you can find a La Z Boy retailer with good customer service, then I highly recommend purchasing from them. Buyer beware, you will NOT find good, or even mediocre, customer service at the Waldorf, MD store.
My experience at this store was very satisfying, Ms. Patricia and Ms. Derry gave outstanding customer service, with a working knowledge of the furniture usage, warehouse availability and possible delivery time. They really spoiled me! They really made this senior day quite enjoyable!
Had a wonderful experience shopping for our recliners. We were given the information we needed and asked for, but also the space to just look and decide on our own.
Simple easy shopping. Staff doesn’t press you and lets you browse. When you need help they are ready to assist. Clean smooth transaction. The one thing I didn’t like was placement of the credit check machine for financing. It ought to be in a private area so other people cannot see you input personal and private information.
I purchase two new recliners from Lazy-Boy in Waldorf. My sale rep Angel was fun to work with. She help me identify the chair that were right for me. I have a bad back so to get chairs with lumber support was a must and being and IT person I had to have the wireless remote. This is my second set of Lazy-Boy recliner but this set will go into my Girl Cave. The other set is in the living room and still work like new. I love Lazy-Boy because they stand behind there furniture. To be honest I purchase furniture from some were else and after 2 years it is so uncomfortable I have to get rid of it. I am Lazy-Boy customer for life. I say pay a little more and be totally happy with lazy-boy or pay less somewhere else and suffer in silence. Why paid twice when you can get the best recliners from Lazy-Boy the first time. Lesson learned

Quinton and Christine were amazing! Quinton designed our room and was right on the money. We drove all the way home to measure before purchase and he had it exactly right based on pictures he pulled off the internet from the listing.
Christine, after listening to what I wanted, gave me suggestions, she showed me to the areas I wanted. And I found the items and a little different my sofa was better then my idea! The selection was very good, like Christine. She was a good salesperson, pleasant friendly, and did not crowd us.
My husband and I had a wonderful experience at the Waldorf Maryland location. The designer Quinten created an entire room that we could not resist. We will definitely be back soon to have him design our basement as well.
Not a happy camper! I order my ottoman the first week in October and I am still waiting for my order to come in to the Waldforf store. For the last two months I was told it would be in at the end of the month. So here we go again, I was told this time it would leave the factory on April 6, 2021. My fingers are crossed.....I hope it will come!
Pat at the Waldorf store was awesome!! I love her personality and professionalism. I cant say things good things about her.I picked up the furniture at the warehouse in Upper Marlboro. The guys were great, but the place is a little confusing. Would be nice if they had a customer pick up entry door. No real complaints. I will buy Lazy Boy again.

Well my experience in buying was good....but when it can time for delivery it was 30 day later then what they told me..and nobody had the curiosity to call me and let me know..i tried calling after leaving 2 massages still no return call then I tried to call the store on Saturday and Sunday got no anwser.so I went in the store on monday to find out my furniture was there at that time is was set up for Saturday delivery...still waiting for one of my chairs...

She was just as professional and insured that we had what we needed and that Angela our sales agent would get the credit. They really worked as a team. I cant wait to receive my La-Z-Boy!

Love Laz-Z-Boy furniture, but there financing is another story. They offer 12 month interest free financing, but it is only on 1/2 of purchase because they require you to use a 2nd form of payment for the 50% deposit required on the order. Makes absolutely NO sense!

Sales are misleading “up to x% off” is a gimmick to get you in the door. It would be helpful to have larger samples and on items in the store as the function to build your own furniture on their app page is horrible. It fails to work and can’t find leather. The sales are so misleading that even the associates have difficulty with the sales.

I would not buy from this store or any LaZy Boy Furniture stores. One of the saleswomen were making comments to me in a very unprofessional manner. I was sitting in a chair next to my dad and she walked by and told me to get up and give the chair to my dad. My dad was already sitting in a chair and it was the chair he wanted to buy. This same saleswoman also asked us why we were looking around without trying anything. Just extremely horrible customer service. I felt that this store tried to take advantage of us. They had a 30% sale on everything in store and refused to give us the sale price. We were told by a saleswoman who did not identify herself that if it had a red sale tag the price listed was 30% off but if it was white then the sale would taken off at register. We found a chair for $499 with a white tag and when we talked to same woman to buy it she said no that chair is already marked down. She said that since it was an Everyday Price it did not fall under the sale. My father and I were extremely upset at their behavior which we felt was unfair and dishonest. We asked to see a manager who said that the tag was under the fine print of the sale. My father asked her to show him and the fine print said that discounted items and specific items not covered by 30% sale. Its not discounted if its an everyday price. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE.
