Wow. I could not be more impressed. Top Knot Flooring made the whole process easy. At the show room Micheal helped me to quickly find the carpet quality and pattern I liked.The installation crew id very professional. They know how to get the old carpet out and the new pad and carpet in quickly. I was concerned because I have some big pieces of furniture. But they made short work of every thing.My new carpet is awesome. And the cost is a good value.

Called and visited Walnut Creek store Sunday needing a new carpet for our newly finished garage within a week. Mike was very helpful, patiently showing us all options considering fast availability. Friday the carpet was installed at the arranged time by a very helpful installer who gave us various options for the carpet layout. We are very happy with the end result. Very professional and tidy installation completed fast but thoroughly. Thankful for excellent service - we want to heartily recommend Top Knot Flooring.

I had vinyl floors laid at my house and I have to rate this place a five because the work was excellent. At first I had my doubts because I never had anything done from anyone besides my brother. However because my brother is so busy I decided to go out of the routine. The guy Javier is one of the most artistic meticulous guys. He showed up on time and worked very hard to get the job done in a timely manner. I had to give this place the hats off to one of the best. Which means a lot because I have to admit I’m very fussy. 😂

My husband John met Mike and immediately felt a positive connection and confidence in Mike’s knowledge and skill with hardwood floors. Mike then met with us and explained the refinishing process and the timeline needed to make our floors amazing. The project started on time as promised with Mike’s skilled floor men Efrain and Ramiro. During the project we were able to watch the process and Efrain and Ramiro made suggestions for stains and finishes that would bring out the natural beauty of our red oak hardwood floor. The floors were finished one time and the end result was beyond our expectations! Our floors are gorgeous and we highly recommend Mike and his crew for all floor needs and will hire him again in the future.

Top Knot is top notch!! Seriously though... Mike the owner was amazing to work with. Quick to respond, had a complete understanding of what I wanted and assured I knew the pros and cons of my choices during the estimate phase and this is why we chose him.We added 2 rooms of hardwood (carpet and tile demo), and we refinished and stained 5 rooms, stairs, and railings.Mike was onsite to assure the crews knew exactly what the asks were - materials arrived quickly, and the work begun the following week.The crew was amazing!! They worked with me to develop the perfect color of stain and were kind and courteous and worked very hard to assure we were happy through the entire process.Competitive pricing and we are so happy to have used a local business.

I am giving TopKnot 5 stars only because that is the most that can be awarded. We are EXTREMELY pleased with everything about TopKnot. Mike, the owner, was easy to work with. He was knowledgeable and helped us make our final decision. His workers, Effren and Romero, removed our old hardwood floor and installed a new Brazilian Cherry floor. They were great. They wore masks, my wife appreciated how clean they left things every day, they were pleasant to have around and their work was outstanding. The job was made more difficult because they had to replace part of the subflooring and they made sure that things stayed level and their attention to detail was impressive. The price was also very reasonable.

When others said NO, Top Knot said YES! We had a heavily damaged subfloor and wanted new engineered hardwood installed in our home. Top Knot was able to fix the subfloor, install our beautiful flooring, paint the baseboard and install them. Other contractors had told us they couldn’t do the subfloor work we needed, but Top Knot was able to! Highly recommend them to anyone wanting a professional installation with a product that can be refinished and enjoyed for years to come. 5 stars.
