Hello!!The store was very neat and clean. There were no cigarette butts, no paper receipts, no used masks and gloves, and no torn product wrappers smashed into overflowing trash cans anywhere outside the entry way. The building area is very well cared for and maintained.Inside, the floors are swept and mopped, the door mats are clean w/o dirt &mud footprints, the shelves were plenty stocked and their prices are very fair. A young staff member was stocking and assisted me when I asked for help.The staff members helped me look for the correct oil for my older car, and with the air filter, it came with a discount!! They referred me to use their discount store card for future purchases. They answered every question I had!!I needed the freon for my cars AC unit. I asked if someone could put it in for me, and he answered yes w/o hesitation. He said it was already full and they refunded the freon.Since Im new to the area and needed a mechanic, the manager recommend one near by to the AutoZone store!!They were very knowledgeable about what my older car needed and very respectful to me being a woman in a mans world. There were no dirty jokes nor curse words, and of the such.Being a retired semi truck driver, Im numb to it, but to other women, it would be too much. There was no such teasing here and the staff were so very polite!! Im just still old fashioned!!Even after all these attempts with my cars issues, the battery ran low and therefore I needed a jump. I embarrassingly went back in and asked if I could receive a jump, please. They didnt hesitate at all and did so!!Not all stores are as helpful as these men were to even go outside and get their hands dirty, but there was delay nor doubt to assist me.Thank you AutoZone staff and store!! Very unprofessional, one of sales associate his name is will .this guy doesnt know anything in here,he doesnt even know how to attend the customer.i bought headlights bulb 4 month ago and those bulbs gone bad now i have one year warranty but this guy said there is no warranty in those bulbs.i told for check your computer you gonna find out in your system.he said there is no information in the system.he has no clue about product returns.then i said ok if i buy another bulbs can you install it for me?he said he cant do it.basically all Auto zone customer service install the headlight bulbs always.if its not complecated installing.my one was easy installing.he is very very lazy .unprofessional.how this kind of lazy unprofessional people got this job and work here.i would not recommend anyone to go to this store.ridiculous

Most employees did not wear masks. There where several customers in the store at the time. It took them 30 minutes to figure out how to give me a refund. And on top of it the employee who was trying to compete my refund did not have on his mask. He also had quite an attitude. Not a friendly store. Will not shop there again.

Salesman was NOT helpful AT ALL! I have never used this cleanser for my engine, and he simply told to pour it in, when actually I found out from my ne t trip to a nearby gas station that a funnel is needed! I lost half of my product in the parking lot at Auto Zone....no plans to return😒😒

Woman who helped me buy a battery at the counter was great. She was new and when we asked a very tall male with strawberry blond hair for some help all he would do was point to items then go back to stocking items behind the counter. No help at all. Another young guy with dark hair just stood talking to another worker who was helping a customer farther down the counter. They are setting that woman up for failure. As a female customer I can find more curtious stores to spend $75.
Cane in. Wasnt sure what I needed. The young man talked to me to assess the problem. Told me exactly what I needed and even installed it for me. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR HIRING THE RIGHT PEOPLE FOR THE JOB.
Not one single employee was wearing a mask. Many of their social/physical distancing placards are literally, yes literally, within 2 feet of each other!!! They seemed to have knowledgeable people, and the management was supportive of the clearly new employees. They had the part that I wanted in stock. They are NOT in the best neighborhood, so its good the inner city gets service. I honestly dont know if they have more stock because others walked out, like I would have, had it not been for my wearing an N95 MASK, Safety Glasses (goggles would be ideal), and gloves... Or perhaps for other reasons... the service was slightly better-than-average, but the total managerial disregard for physical distancing, and the complete lack efforts by every single employee in the store was beyond disappointing. There was a security guard at the front door doing metered entering, but zero else!

Smells like teen spirit. Bad joke. Smells like motor oil. Maybe that adds to their ambiance?Prompt, friendly service. They answered questions quickly, and knowledgeably to the extent of their abilities.Im not a person who works on cars, I dont have much use for Auto-Zone, Im not into DIY with car repairs or maintenance, and I was there helping a friend with their vehicle at their request.My recommendation is (if you are not a trained professional) take your car to a qualified person who knows what theyre doing. Of course, if you know what youre doing you dont need my advice. Enjoy yourself!

Consistently sit on hold entirely too long! Most times end up just hanging up. Then upon calling back, have had employees pick up the phone and hang it right up. If this is what they are trained to do, the company should be ashamed! Nothing but poor service across the board from this location. If you can avoid it and get your parts elsewhere that would be wise.

Great service at this location. The young guy did a quick diagnostic on my car. My check engine light had came on. I appreciated his service. A man at the Hamtramck location had just lied and told me their system was down across the whole state so he couldnt do it.
Horrible customer service I was told I was going to get help and the person who was supposed to help me was a Caucasian male and had a long black hair and just ignored me for about a half an hour horrible service I don’t go there they need more help

The old man was kinda a jerk. But I got what I needed. Bought a battery. For 180 bucks. Wanted better one. Thats why I guess it was so much. $$ They installed it too. I dont recommend the old man to install it. Lol.

They will come out and check the code for the check engine light so you have an idea of whats wrong with your car when the check engine light comes on. They will loan you tools to do a quick or not so quick fix on your car in the parking lot. This is convenient when the tail light or headlamp goes out and you want to avoid a ticket from the police.
The individual who assisted me was condescending, lit a cigarette immediately when he got outside, and then proceeded to tell me I had a bad alternator because he failed to use the diagnosis tool correctly. Had I not taken it to a different shop to get a second opinion, I could have ended up paying 100s of dollars more because of his ineptitude.
Things have been approving slightly since they got rid of Sam. Couldnt manage her attitude for 24hrs let alone manage a store for 8.

I was slow to go back as some workers assume things of the customers (had to troubleshoot my own wipers and yes I suck at cars.... ) so Not everyone is willing to help a young female but Kathy helped correct a stupid move (not even my own stupid move). I will bring my business back here not because of the wiper service (young lady decided I knew) but Kathy (I hope I am spelling it right) made sure my car was safe before I left. Highly knowledgeable and willing to work with people with minimal knowledge of their own.

No issue with this store but as a company Auto Zone is a decent place at best for the do it yourself mechanic. Any serious mechanic that I know hates going dealing with the low knowledge level of most of the employees that they hire at all their stores.

The employees are very helpful in finding the part you need. Will lend most specialized tools should you need them. They will read a code if your vehicle throws one. I dont believe they will clear it.
I counted 5 employees that were either not wearing a mask or not covering their noses with their masks. Regional manager has not called me yet...

Pretty standard autozone. Could be a littler cleaner, but the staff has always been friendly and usually quite helpful as well
My car broke down during a snow storm. The staff there let my car sit on the lot for a day until I was able to come back and get it. Great staff! Totally understanding. Cant say enough good things about this autozone.

You get everything but I needed a hose for refilling air conditioning gas R134a and it was $21 and change. I think that is expensive for just hose. You will find cheaper ones on Amazon.
Bad experience. Bad parts and trying to blame it on the Car to avoid returns and making it up after understanding it was their mistake. Even the testing instruments support what they do. Cheap but not worth it.
