My husband bought in three batteries to get charged Monday 6/28/21. On Tuesday 6/29/21 I came in to picked them up. The young man went in the back and brought out three batteries and loaded them in my car. I went home and my husband informed me that one of the batteries was the wrong one and didn’t belong to him. He called the store and inform them that they gave me the wrong battery. The salesman told him they were busy and he would have to come in the store. I went back today 6/30/21 to return the battery that wasn’t his and get the correct battery that belonged to my husband. They tried to give me a core battery and say this was the correct battery. I left and my husband came back and they did the same to him. He needs his battery. They can’t find it.
My experience was great. They did everything I asked and even came out and put the part on my car for me and they didnt have to do that! It was great service in my opinion.
Very impressed with this staff, I definitely would recommend this AutoZone! Jazzmyn went above and beyond to help me replace a completely melted screw holding in my license plate - from removing it, to helping pick out new hardware, to replacing.

They have the least of what you need.. the inventory is very limited, and whatever you do get is either left over or returned inventory. My car seat covers was missing the head rests

I was hoping to fill out a survey for them but can’t seem to find my receipt. A couple of days ago I purchased a battery from this location and turned in my old battery, which was covered in corrosion. Ms. Thomas noticed I’d forgotten to remove the terminal and called over Rudy since I had no tools on hand. It must have taken Rudy a good 15 minutes to remove it for me due to all the corrosion. I really appreciated the above and beyond service they displayed.
We went for a free battery test. Staff were super helpful diagnosing the problem and helping us get a replacement part installed quickly.

What started out as a bad situation ended fantastic, due to manager, Clarice Young, and her quick response; with total professionalism at the forefront. The incident occurred in the evening, and her swift actions had me able to walk away, in less than 24 hours, a happy 😊 customer, not only with my truck fixed, by sales representative Steffon, but it actually looks brand new. Oh, and let me not forget to give Ms Vida her BIG UPS as well, for overriding the hater, who I wont mention 😜🤣😂

Autoparts places tend to be somewhat disconcerting for the occasional purchaser. This store has Rudy a jamacian fella who loves helping the customers and is just a great guy. Hes really a rare gem in parts sales.

I shopped at this location a few days ago I was shopping for some items to wash my car. Veda rung up everything, showed me the total and helped me save about $25 buying one of the buckets they have on sale versus the $50 I was about to spend. I recently found out that corporate policy is to not allow concealed weapons or legally licensed firearms into the store. I am really uncomfortable with leaving my firearm in my car unattended. These people are all Awesome! The first person that attend to me ask me to show him my car, he helped me fixed all my burned out bulb and even tell me why all the bulb went out at the same time.... The second person is a light skinned lady that followed me to check the color of my coolant so that she will pick the right one for me.The name of the first guy is Rudy... I got to know his name when I went back to thank him only to be told that he is on break. The light skinned lady later gave me his name.All of you are Damn too Good, you guys are Awesome! I was recently at the this store and was serviced by and employee Travis. He was very patient and helpful, Travis made my experience pleasant and helped me with rest of my day. You should hire and train more people like Travis and hope he goes further in you all company

Due to the COVID-19 I have not driven my vehicle in almost 2 months. When I went to go start the battery was completely dead. I’ve never change the battery on my car or really done anything for that matter. Vita and Stefan were some of the best customer service representatives I have ever worked with. Vita help me shop for the correct battery at the right price and Stefan installed that battery for me. If it weren’t for this AutoZone I would have spent a ton of money at some car dealership. Please give them both a raise
When my car battery died, I called AutoZone worried. Clarice answered the phone and was very nice and reassuring and encouraged me to bring my car in and they would replace it rightaway. I went there as soon as my neighbor jumped my car. Clarice remembered talking to me as soon as I went in and was so kind and nice, and arranged for Travis to change my battery at no charge. He even lifted up the hood for me when I told him I did not know how to do that, which made me very happy since it is extremely heavy and I had never lifted it up before. They were both wonderful and I was very happy with them both and, thus, very happy with the H St NE AutoZone.
Ive been shopping at AutoZone for years and for some reason AutoZone is a great place for their employees however, on the other hand they have a store manager who is very very rude and disrespectful towards the customers her attitude needs to change if she want a productive team. With this store manager I will no longer patronize this location anymore. The other managers are terrific and their customer service skills is great. Thats why i gave this place a 5 star. Thanks

It was great for me. I needed oil, was in and out in no time. Suggestion: They need cameras in the back of the store for thieves, and a barring practice to keep them out! There was a loud altercation with a male employee who was assisting a male customer in the back of the store. The customer stole one of those long bright strobe lights as soon as the employees back was turned. This was at the Auto Zone on Benning Road NE. The thief demanded that no one touch him - or else, even though you could see the item sticking out the back of his shirt! This altercation interrupted business because everyone was looking at what was going on!
Head the stuff I need to buy
I came into AutoZone today looking for a special tool with a screwdriver tip. I was having a hard time finding it all week. However, Vita came to the rescue! She knew exactly what I needed and found it for me at AutoZone. Its so great to see such knowledgeable and customer-service oriented women like Vita in the mechanical industry. Thanks for your help!

The staff here was awesome. I called about 9AM to see if they had battery acid. The lady I spoke with went to check and see if it was really in the store. She said they had 2 containers. We didnt get there until 4 and another salesman had sold both containers.So our situation was that we were visiting and we live on our boat. I needed the acid for a new battery for the motorcycle we carry. We were there by Uber and they had the only stock of acid we had found.The same lady we spoke with got on the phone. Located some acid at another store and sent one of her people to pick it up. Now thats not what I expected. That was way above and beyond what she had to do.Im glad there is a medium to praise them. Great people.

Ms. Thomas was the absolute worst employee. She made little effort to help, didnt maintain eye contact, show little interest and was out rightly rude. If I were her manager she wouldnt have a position in my store. I diagnosed all issues and purchased parts on my own accord.

I went to H streets Auto zone this evening because initially my car needed a jump. Once I got to autozone, I had my battery tested. The young lady also tested my starter and alternator. They were all in good condition.While, I was there I realized that my lights had blown out and needed replacements. I kept thinking a fuse was blown, but little did I know-The bulbs needed to be changed.With all of that said, a young lady named Reesie (Clarice) assisted me with all of my matters. Then stood there and checked/changed my oil and anti-freeze. All of the assessments and changes were made within 30 minutes. She is very knowledgeable and proficient in her skillwork. Who says that only men knows about mechanical issues, well that changed today. Anything a man can do, a woman can do better.Thank you Reesie, you really helped me out alot. I will continue patronizing the H street location. The customer service was phenomenal. 👍👍👍👍👍👍
I went to this location to purchase some parts for my vehicle and when I came out there was a $250 ticket for parking in their customer lot. I told the meter guy that I was in the store, the meter guy referred me back to the store. I went back to the store and they told me there is nothing they could do and referred me back to the meter guy. I was only in the store for 13 minutes. Now I have to fight this $250 ticket in court.This is shame because this location is the most convenient and I buy all my parts from here but I won’t be coming back anymore.UPDATE: I had been in contact with the corporate office and they were able to verify that I was in the store when this occurred. Im still waiting to hear from the Court office after submitting proof that I was in the store when the ticket was issued.

I can completely disagree with anyone who would speak ill. I was literally stranded in D.C. with seven kids and my wife and these guys literally kept the store opened and helped in at 10pm get my truck fixed an on the road. Those guys deserve a huge reward for going above and beyond their duty. Thanks Guys I got home safe which was three hours away from my home because you did everything to get me back on the road safely. God will indeed bless you for helping our family. Shalom!!!

Super helpful, friendly staff that always try to upsell you on the giveaways at the counter - but it often pans out. I was going to buy towels but they gave me free hand cleaner with the same purchase because there was a bundle deal. Sweet!
If you cant give them a year and make for what you need, good luck! Totally unable to help find out if they carry a basic 1 1/16 lug nut. Manager wouldnt even try a keyword search in their system.

Its a chain. They have car parts. A bit slow for service but other than that, its about what you expect. Smaller than average display floor, but if you know what you are looking for that actually makes it easier to fond what you need.

The employee said I could use a bigger battery, so I bought that. When they tried to install, it didnt fit. So I immediately exchanged for a smaller battery. When I bought the first one, there was no core charge because they took my old battery. But the employee wanted to charge me a core for the smaller battery, which made no sense. I had to fight her to get the core charge refunded. My point was: look, I just came in for a new battery, you recommended the wrong one, so when I walk out of here, it should be like I bought the right battery from the get-go. Generally, the staff were not friendly.
I stopped in today (11/19/2017) to get new wiper blades. I was assisted by Travis who in addition to confirming I was getting the right ones, offered to help me switch out the old ones. He went above and beyond and I’m grateful.
They have a good selection of items. Every autozone doesnt carry Rotella T6 but this one does which is great. Other than that the staff is pretty cool.. They are very slow though depending on what time you go. So have some patients if its a few customers in there.

I gave autozone on H street one star because of the Jamaican lady who works there. She was very rude and had horrible customer service skills. The other young lady was so helpful and very very friendly. I wish I would have gotten her name. She had such a bubbly attitude. The Jamaican lady was acting like she was just mad at the world. They need to get rid of her or put her in the back not dealing with the customers. If you ever go there do not let her help you.
Nothing about this visit stood out. The service wasnt bad, it wasnt great. The store wasnt dirty, seemed well organized.
