I am in a wheelchair and if I need something checked out, theyll have done right away, whether its battery or tires, or whatever else, they are always there for me. The cleanest shop to the certified mechanics. They wont sell you what you dont need or rip you off.

I’ve been very pleased with Jeremy and the Martin team for all my auto repair and diagnostic needs over the last 4 years (since I’ve been in the Peoria-area). Jeremy, in particular, has been extremely transparent and honest. He even recommended other businesses for a specialized exhaust repair to help me save a few bucks in a pinch; which spoke volumes about his dedication to taking care of customers. That example and other honest conversations have earned my loyalty and respect. I’ve never felt exploited or pressured with up selling. One of my first times working with them I was questioning some suspension-related diagnoses that they threw at me. Being a skeptic and somewhat mechanically-inclined, I jacked up the car at home and everything they described was accurate. One of the few businesses I’ve ever taken the time to review. Can’t recommend them enough!

Great service, clean, and timely. Took my car in to have tires replaced and they put me on their schedule very quickly! A few months later I had a nail in my tire and was losing air and they patched it up for free! I would recommend trusting Martin Automotive with your vehicle.

From the many experiences of my own and of my brothers I have to say the respect, quality of the work, and the work performed is of top quality and I will highly recommend that people go there for the car work. The crews are very friendly and listen to you when you explain the problem. And I trust that they dont run no games on anyone just to get their money.

We have used them for years for our vehicles. They are fast, friendly, and they do a nice job servicing our cars. I especially like that the quote they give you to do the work always matches the price you pay when they are done. They also let you what additional service your vehicle might need (ex. you have an oil leak) and the price it would cost, but they never pressure you to do the extra work. I love the no pressure aspect, which is rare. We have never used the shuttle service, but they do have one. We use the waiting room which is very clean with enough room to social distance from other customers and a flat screen tv with cable. (If it is on HGTV then you know I was just there) Highly recommended!

Martin Automotive is a wonderful place to go when you are having car problems. I recently had a rear brake job done and they did a wonderful job. Ron kept in contact with me throughout the process so there were no surprises. They are upfront and honest and treated me with respect and appreciation. I was equally impressed that the owner called to thank me then followed up with a hand written note. I highly recommend them to anyone needing work done.

Had a coupon for a free oil change that they had mailed to my house coupon said it was completely free, I called to make an appointment like the coupon stated, and when I made the appointment, they led me to believe it was completely free after they changed my oil, they told me I owed them 10 dollars, but couldnt explain to me where this charge came from good thing I had money on me because I was planning on it being free. Then they went on to tell me that my vehicle was badly leaking coolant and that it left a big spot in their parking lot, where I was parked, I checked when I left no big spot and my car has not even come close to overheating, nor has any where else I have parked, there been a spot underneath my vehicle of it leaking anything so seems as though they lied to me

Nice, clean shop. They are always very helpful and take the time to explain things. They are also very willing to check things over for you and theyre honest and dont recommend things that you dont need. The shuttle is very convenient, and its always very easy to get an appointment there. I recommend them to anybody that asks about a mechanic. They also have a coffee pot and an excellent couch to take a nap on. 😀

This place tried to make me pay for expensive unnecessary repairs when the real problem was needing a simple alignment, which they didnt diagnose. This led to damage to 3 of my tires and a much more expensive repair. Do not recommend.

Have been taking all of our cars to Martin Automotive since they have been in business and I would not go any where else! They do excellent work, are honest and professional. The staff are are willing to answer questions and do not try to sell services or things that are not needed. The waiting room is very nice and clean but a shuttle service is available if I am not able to wait. Prices are very reasonable and fair, and are explained prior to any repairs. These folks are my heros. 19 days into a 21 day roadtrip, my clutch burnt out. Not only did they graciously get me back on the road in less than twenty four hours, but they drove me to and from the hotel to boot. They are kind, helpful and fun to chat with. *CUSTOMERS BEWARE*Ive never written a review before because Ive never felt the need to, but I think this calls for attention.Recently, I took my 2003 Mini Cooper to Martin Automotive for a trunk door repair. The trunk needed both suspension rods installed and a hinge repair because my trunk door wasnt closing properly.After the repair was completed, I picked up my car and drove it home immediately, not using it for a couple of weeks because I went out of town on vacation. As of this past weekend, I drove it up to Cary, IL to visit family and I noticed my trunk door light was on, signaling that the door was not latched all the way. When we arrived, upon further inspection, we noticed the trunk door was actually ajar, not closed anymore - even though we hadnt opened it since we got it back from Martin Automotive. Naturally, we tried to close it and it didnt latch (the latch was broken as well) and you could physically see that the trunk door was completely out of alignment. We noticed the suspension rod on the passengers side completely fell off, forcing the drivers side suspension rod to over-extend thus placing extreme amounts of weight and pressure on the hinge, snapping it off completely and falling on my fiances head.We notified the mechanic of what happened and I had to call in and miss work because we had to try to figure out how to get back to Peoria(where I live). Finally, we received a call from Martin Automotive and they instructed us to try to tie down the trunk door so we could make it back 150 miles away.So after figuring that out, I drove my car back to Martin Automotive for them to inspect it. Shortly after, I got into contact with them and they refused to take accountability for any of it. Stating You dont have proof, Aint our fault Even though they were the ones to install BOTH suspension rods, which in turn he came back with Well you dont have proof of that We blew over $600 in repairs for that trunk to fail within a day of driving it, and no accountability from Martin Automotive. When confronting them about this, I said This wouldve never happened if it was fixed right in the first place and the mechanic felt cornered and rudely hung up on me. This was not only an issue of insufficient repair, it also reflects upon Martins integrity, quality assurance, respect, responsibility, trust, and SAFETY.I have never felt so ripped off in my entire life. Never have I had such a terrible experience in my entire life when dealing with mechanics, businesses, customer service, ect. Never have I felt so taken advantage of, betrayed, mistreated, and scammed.All I can say is youve been warned. I was fooled by them and that takes a lot for me to admit considering my pride. They seemed so approachable, so friendly, genuine, and helpful. But I guess so are all good con-artists.Hopefully I can get some sort of compensation, if not I have to contact my attorney, I already contacted the Better Business Bureau. As a full-time poor college student and full-time hospital worker, I really dont have the time, money, or patience for this game.

I was pleased with the service even though I find the root cause of the problem I contacted them for and resolved it my self.Customer service was great.But I do not understand why the NAPA parts they use are around double the price that NAPA sells the parts for. I found where NAPA had the part at around half the price and I called a local NAPA store and they had the part for around half the price.Other than the part price issue nice place.
