I ended up here at Tunex in Washington due to unfortunate circumstances with my truck, and Rabbit and his crew were awesome. Very good, honest guys. My truck broke down and after he researched it he determined it was a part that was under factory warranty so instead of trying to get me to use him he called the factory franchise repair shop and pulled some strings to get my truck into the factory repair shop sooner than later, and then towed the truck over there the same day. Ill be back here anytime I can in the future. Really great operation.

I took my RV here for an oil change and transmission service. It’s obvious they know how to work on RVs. Mines pretty old and they were really helpful and kind about offering recommendations. They were timely and had excellent customer service!

Rabbit did an incredible job of getting us back on the road when we had a breakdown mid trip. The shop is very knowledgeable with diesels and after diagnosing several issues, were able to install a new fan clutch and water pump in a timely manor. They were VERY accommodating to us in the meantime!

We broke down on our way through St. George due to a brake issue caused by a Brakes Plus in Colorado. The car was undriveable in the condition it was in and so we were forced to leave it at the nearest repair shop (which happened to be Tunex of Washington).Boy am I glad this is the shop we stumbled upon! Rabbit was incredible to us and helped us in every way possible. Not only did he take pictures and verify that it was indeed the fault of the Brakes Plus, he made contact with them and arranged for them to pay for the bill which was a big relief considering how stressful this whole situation was.To top it off, he went out of his way to arrange for us to pick the car up on the following Saturday (when they were closed). And he even gave us a call the following week to make sure we arrived home safely. I cant begin to thank this shop enough and highly recommend it to anyone looking for honest and exceptional service in the St. George area. Thank you guys again!!

Rabbit and everyone there was amazing. Our truck broke down on Friday evening late. We had it towed and left it there until we heard back with a quote on Monday. They had it finished by Wednesday morning and it had a good amount of worj that needed to be done. Our whole front ball joint broke and it looked like the Axel was on the ground. There prices were incredibly reasonable and they did a phenomenal job with it. I am so pleased and would be happy to drive down from Cedar to take our vehicles there if we ever need work done again. Highly recommend.

Excellent! Can’t say enough!! My daughter dropped off her car for an oil change on her way to work. Tunex is in an adjoining parking lot. She asked them to just lock the keys in the car when they were done and she would walk over with her spare and pick it up after her shift at 1030pm. When the car was done they drove it over to her work and parked it for her so she wouldn’t have to walk in the dark by herself to pick it up!! Not only that, they said if she was too busy on her shift to take a break to pay for it (she is a bartender) she could pay for it the next day. These are very nice and ethical workers. Im a young college student who knows nothing about cars. I gave Rabbit plenty of opportunities to take advantage of me. I basically said I dont know what Im doing, so what do you think? Most people would use this as an opportunity to sell me as much as possible. Instead, Rabbit understood by situation and realized my car was not worth a lot of the repairs he could have pressured me into. I am extremely grateful for this.On top of that, last time I brought my car in it turned out there was an expensive piece broken. Rabbit happened to have a used one laying around and installed it for me. Now, he very very easily could have charged me for that piece and for the labor involved, but instead, he did not.Rabbit and his crew are fantastic and I dont think I will be taking my piece of work anywhere else. I will admit over the phone Rabbit doesnt sound too enthusiastic or like much of a nice guy, but once you meet him hes fantastic!

I was extremely impressed with Tunex! I have an Audi A4 and finding a shop that would actually work on it was almost impossible. Then I discovered Tunex. Not only did they work on European cars, they did a fantastic job doing so. Rabbit was honest and made everything easy. He explained everything that was wrong, called me in to look at what he was talking about, and gave me options on what to fix. He could’ve easily told me i needed a new engine and charged me $8,000+ but instead he found a work around and was able to get my car fixed for an amazing price and only did what we discussed. It was a pleasure working with Rabbit and the team at Tunex and i will be taking all my vehicles there for service. Really cant find this level of professionalism for the price anywhere else. Rabbit and his team are very professional. My vehicle needed some new breaks and their shop is right next to where I work. I took my vehicle to them in the morning without an appointment and Rabbit didnt seem annoyed at all by that. Rabbit asked me if I could leave my vehicle at the shop and offered to give me a ride down the road to where I worked (I didnt take it, I need the exercise so I walked). In just a few hours they had squeezed me in, given me a quote, and had the work done. While explaining the repairs needed Rabbit was very up front about what needed to be done and how the problem could have happened. I had a lot of questions for him and he was very patient and very clear with every answer he gave me. Now the cost of work was very affordable. I was surprised at the amount I paid to have the work done. I am not going to say that it was cheap because in my experience in the car business (sold cars for 7 years) cheap is exactly what you get and the work either isnt done properly or isnt done with quality parts. Rabbit explained what parts they used and in doing my own research afterwards I knew it was a good product. Big thanks to Rabbit and the crew at Tunex Washington. Friendly staff, but I cant recommend getting work done here. I went in a few weeks ago to diagnose an issue with overheating while idling. They looked around with a boroscope and saw my water pump was leaking, meaning it was bad. They claimed there were no aftermarket options available, and that a new one would cost $550. I didnt have that amount of money, so I went home and did some research on my own. After looking around, I found many aftermarket options for $40-50. In fact, this water pump is shared with several other vehicles and even an OEM replacement would barely cost half the $550 I was quoted. I ordered the pump and installed it myself, and its working great. But theres another problem with my cooling system that they missed; my radiator fan isnt working. Id think thats a pretty easy thing to test, just turn the car on, turn the AC on full, and see if it spins. But no, they didnt test that even though I paid for a full cooling system diagnostic. They seem like nice guys and I dont think theyre out there to intentionally scam people, but I cant in good conscience give them a positive review after they failed to fully diagnose my problem and tried to charge me over 10x what I spent doing it myself.

I’ll be honest - I was a little skeptical before bringing my van to this Tunex (previous experiences at other locations weren’t terrible, but weren’t great either). But Rabbit and his team were great to work with! They chased down a frustrating AC issue and if there was a problem after they repaired it Rabbit made sure to ask me to bring it back in so they could take care of it. There was, and they did. He’s very fair I appreciate that he does his best not to gouge his customers while at the same time takes care of his team. It’s a fine line to walk but he does it well!

I am from MI and left the headlights on overnight and needed a jump. I sheepishly walked up and asked for help.The Mgr came right out, followed me to the rig two blocks away and jumped it. And would not take a tip. Thanks is enough he said.But we talked for a few minutes and he knew things about my rig no one had ever told me about. I said I needed some work and though EVERY bay was filled he got me in that day and was done that night....all in the middle of our Virus scare. Needed an alignment on my Chevy van and Tunex was recommend. This was a challenging job since it had been a long while since alignment was adjusted. While I waited, grabbed lunch and haircut in nearby establishments. Very happy with results. Van now tracks straight. Would use Tunex again. Would send friends and family as well.

My car was leaking coolant and I had Tunex do a diagnostic on the engine. After a very thorough search of all engine related sensors, relays, etc., it was discovered that my cooling and engine fans both died. I was given a timetable to complete the work and the cost involved. I got the car when promised at a very good price. While tearing things apart, it was also discovered my radiator had a leak. That repair was also taken care within the three hours I was originally told. Rabbit is professional, friendly and delivers on what he quotes for work and time frames. It was a very positive experience and any future car trouble I will absolutely be back. I very highly recommend this shop. Rabbit is honest and straightforward and somehow he always manages to fit you into his schedule.

Jed, from the Tunex in Washington, UT, is fantastic! He was such a personable and kind person to interact with. I am a college student, and explained that I needed to stay within a certain budget while getting particular necessities fixed on my car. He worked with me on the labor costs to ensure that I stayed within my budget. He also arranged with me a way to pick up my car, when I couldnt make it before closing. Riley was also a great help. He performed the Used Car Analysis when I was purchasing my car and made sure I understood all of the things that needed to be repaired and the time frame I should have them repaired in. Since I dont know anything about cars, I kept calling and going back to ask questions, and both Jed & Riley were kind and helpful with the expertise they provided. This Tunex location made it very clear to me that they focus on providing excellent customer service, while also getting the job done efficiently and in the best way possible. Took my car in for ac my husband is a mechanic but cant vacuum lines . Told them it was leaking thought it was the Schrader valve or compressor . They did full ac check and service said they put the dye in it and pressure checked system, then refilled freon . My ac worked for 3 days . Took it back in they checked it and said it was ac dryer valve, I looked it up its a $32 part they quoted me $750. We checked and no dye was on the part or anywhere . Took it to clays automotive, they looked at it and it was the compressor, it was removed I was shown where the leak was . They replaced and filled and its working great . Cost $450 part is $297 .

Rabbit fixed my window by showing me I had inadvertently pushed the lock button.! Then Tunex replaced rear wheel bearing, provided me with a loaner and worked overtime to get my car back to me the same day! The part was not available locally and they had to get it from Las Vegas. They go above and beyond!

Jed is awesome! I walked in, explained what the issue with my vehicle was and Jed took great care of me. He clearly explained what they would do, explained what cost I could expect (including a discount), and said if there were any issues, he would call me and let me know before just doing unnecessary or unwanted work. He laid out a clear time line when the work would be completed. I went in later that day, and as promised, the work was completed. Also the cost was right in the price range that Jed originally quoted me. I will definitely return to Tunex for future vehicle repairs

I had a headlight problem that appeared to be a short circuit or socket requiring replacement. However, Rabbit diagnosed the problem to be a simple disconnected wire that he remedied in less than 5 minutes and saved me a considerable amount of money. He also went out of his way to fit me into his busy schedule since my problem had a sense of urgency. Tunex has now earned my future business.

Hi just want to put this out there for you to be aware. Took my vehicle to this shop for a simple state inspection. They removed my tire to check the brakes. When the tire was put back on the lug nuts were not torqued. This caused the lug nuts to vibrate loose and some of the studs to break, when the tire came off while going down the freeway.I would stay away from this shop. They do not pay attention to the simple details of their job.

Tunex in Washington is a great all around car care center they have always treated me with respect and every time I go in they can always answer all of my questions and provide wonderful service. They have that small town feel that is missing from many other car care shops Ive been to in the past.

We were semi stranded in Southern Idaho, half way between Boise and SLC with a broken turbo hose on our Sprinter and a strict time line that involved airports, a rental car and our next event. It wasnt looking good to make any of them. The required hose would take two days to arrive, two days we didnt have. I called Rabbit to see what his input was as he has always taken our vehicle maintenance and repairs very personal. He understood our situation, did some research, and called us back with a plan. He found the specific hose in SLC, the vehicle was limpable to safely drive down there and he had another Tunex location ready to fix the Sprinter as soon as we arrived. There were a lot of moving parts to meet all of our deadlines, Rabbit and Tunex crew made it happen for us.Im continually impressed by Rabbit and Tunex, they dont just fix our vehicles, they know them and their intricacies. In this situation there was no monetary gain for the Tunex location, but Rabbit and Tunexs customer commitment still got our vehicle fixed in a more than timely manner.

I took in an older truck with almost 600 thousand miles. It was a challenge to work on because the parts were brittle. They stuck with it and finally fixed it.

They found issues with my vehicle that other mechanics wouldnt take the time to diagnose. The broken part was obvious but they took the next step to find out why it failed.

Dishonest. I went in to have my air conditioning fixed, and was told it was either needing to be charged or would need replacement. They looked at it and said it needed to be charged then asked me to sign a paper stating if something else was wrong it wasnt their fault. So I paid $100 for the charge up. 2 weeks later my air conditioning went out again. I took it to the mitsubishi dealership and they told me the condenser had a hole in it, and it was visible through the grill in the front of my car!!!! It was $500 to replace my condenser. So basically Tunex lied about the charge being needed and thought they could get an extra hundred out of me at the end of the day. Super disappointed and hoped for better service than I got.

Dont listen to this guy below me. The dealer that he took his vehicle to said it was broke when the steering wheel was removed. At no point, when his car was in the shop, was his steering wheel removed. It didnt require removing the steering wheel to fix his problem.
