I actually Ordered My Bagels through Uber Eats so this review is only on the Bagels that I Received which were AMAZING.. would definitely order again, if I have the time I would visit the shop. Bagel sandwiches are great, BUT they mess up orders every time and have terrible customer service via email.Ive gotten charged for additional items on the sandwich that they did not provide. They said they would refund $1 for the item, and they never did. They did not respond to my follow up email. I finally tried to order from them again a year later, and they messed up my order again.Maybe, try eating on site, so you can take it back if they mess up?

Not worth the price, wait, or taste. Mediocre to below average bagel sandwiches and spreads, but wouldn’t tell people to go here. The order accuracy at this location is the worst as they constantly forget items in multiple people’s orders.

Wow, this spot is legit the place for the best bagels in DC! I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese on a sesame bagel and it was absolute perfection. The egg to cheese and bacon ratio was perfect, and the bagel was hot, soft, and just the right amount of chewiness. I never thought I’d say this, but the bagels here are comparable to NYC bagels. Highly recommended!

This bagel shop has excellent bagel sandwiches. The bagels are fresh and soft. That must be why they sell out of their most popular ones by around noon. When we walked in they only had plain and everything bagels left. But that was just fine because the amount of meat and quality of the meat made my tummy happy. Oh and the hummus is tasty with a robust flavor. If you ask nicely they may sell you some to take home! The customer service is awesome but there usually is a bit of a wait. Good food takes time!!!

My husband and I were both incredibly impressed with these bagels, and Im not easily impressed. We tried the egg, bacon, and cheese, the Oriole, and the turkey, bacon, avocado with sriracha sauce. All three were fantastic, the texture of the bagels was out of this world and flavor combos were amazing. Would highly recommend and will definitely be coming back!

Great bagels - use fried egg on the bacon egg and cheese instead of scramble but still solid. Bagels are soft on the inside and very flavorful. Love the self serve coffee bar. Wasn’t that bad crowd wise around 9am on a Saturday . One of the better bagels in the district

Sometimes I wake up on the weekend and just fantasize about Bullfrog Bagels.I now live in Nashville, but when I lived in D.C. I’d come to the H-street location every weekend for a fresh everything bagel sandwich which they make in-shop. Lox, egg and cheddar, BLT, you name it they have it. Man, is it excellent.Miss this place lots. Hope to visit soon!

Prior to pandemic its been a great place to seat down with the family for bagels, coffee and nice chat. Me and my girlfriend are avid Food Network watchers. With anything featuring Gordon Ramsey as our go-toAs we were indulging in “recreational” activities we seen that bagels was one of the challenges on MasterChef and IMMEDIATELY wanted one so we searched high and low for a DEDICATED bagel spot. Which brings us to Bullfrog. We seen it was highly recommended and now we fully understand. I got the BLT with sriracha Mayo on a pumpernickel bagel and she got the SSA-lox which was smoked salmon, cream cheese, avocado and capers. Didn’t sound good to me but to get it was to die for…something about cream cheese and salmon just doesn’t do it for me but I digress. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is the fact they didn’t have the EVERYTHING pumpernickel bagel that I had my heart set out on. Other then that we will def be back.

Bullfrog Bagels is an H Street institution, which youll clearly see any Saturday morning when its packed to the gills with eager bagel lovers. Known for their bagel sandwiches, they have a wide-offering from lox, to pastrami, to brisket, and more. Dont be scared away by the long line either! Thats what means its good!My recommendation is to bring a friend and split the sandwiches in half to share so you can taste what they have on offer. Im excited to keep going here to test out the rest of the menu.My only hope is that theyre able to expand in this space. The bar they had been sharing the space with -- Star and Shamrock -- recently closed down (RIP), limiting the room they currently have in store.

This is the best spot on H Street.For me, it’s worth traveling across the city for. It’s a tight squeeze and always crowded. Parents bring their strollers, hung-over 22 year olds bring their sunglasses, and everyone has to bring the wallet... not the cheapest bagels...The fact that one day I will not be walking distance from this place is heart breaking.Please stop reading this and go get a bagel sandwich... and get one for me too, please. Delicious bagel spot on H street! Ordering is super easy from their website and pickup and/or delivery is timely. Bagel sandwiches are always fresh and tasty (try the Natitude!) and adding add-ons is easy and cheap. Look no further for a delicious quick breakfast spot.

Best smoked salmon bagel in the city! They just get it...Ive been to most bagel places around DC (some over hyped and others simply status quo). Aside from a really good bagel they also know how to properly stack a bagel 🙌🏼If youre on the fence about which location to hit (Eastern market or H street), pick H street- its a lot bigger. Both will probably have lines so if youre too good for lines, feel free to help yourself to the more than plentiful run-of-the-mill bagel shops around the city. If not, bring a friend and wait it out. Its worth it 😉My personal favorite: smoked salmon blt (add onion) on toasted everything bagel 👌🏼

Theres many different flavors and varieties to choose from. You will never leave disappointed. Youll never buy off the shelf bagels again.

I love this place! Affordable breakfast sandwiches for the area. Theyre always really quick with the orders and everything Ive ever ordered was always on point. Definitely my go to breakfast.

This place is not worth the aggravation. I lived around the corner from here for 4 years and Ive only gone here at most four times. One time (pre-COVID) I called in and went to pick up my order, only to find out they just wrote it down and didnt put it in with the kitchen. Today I ordered online at 9:15 and had an expected delivery time of 9:45. I just got it at 10:30. Ive gone there in person and its just a disorganized mess. If you can go somewhere else, go somewhere else.This is the only Google review Ive written if that gives you an idea of how bad this place is.

I put in an order and got redirected to the wrong shop, so I needed to cancel it. Theres no way to cancel my order online and there is no answer when I call. Very frustrating.

I would normally go to Springfield Va. for bagels but I saw this place on H St. NE thought I give it a try. As I was walking away from window a van parked. The man opened back of van pulled out proofed bagels on a pan that were not covered with anything. He left door to van open as I looked in I saw a second tray the same way. There were cases of eggs and other foods to restock the bagel shop. With COVID-19, and just general germs floating in the air period I would not have made purchase. Bullfrog Bagels is not a place I feel safe getting food from after seeing the way their delivery was made. I threw away the bagels due the fact if they handled food that way on that day; they may have done it on others.

Seriously disappointing customer service. I placed an order online the night before for pickup. I received an email shortly after that one of the items was unavailable, so I was refunded the cost for it. Fine, no biggie.When I showed up to pick up the rest of my order, the lady at the window was rude. She told me there wasnt any order placed. She called Brian and spoke to him on speaker and in Spanish in front of me. When she hung up with him she said they didnt have any of the bagels I offered. No apology, or anything. She seemed annoyed and bored. I asked that they just refund my card and left.They refunded me $11.85 on a $21.85 order. Why? I have no idea, but I wont be coming back.

Great bagel shop located on h st. The shop gets packed during the weekend especially during breakfast. I highly recommend getting the blueberry bagel with goat cheese however their bacon egg and cheese bagels are equally delicious.

I love this place. No frills bagel joint where you can get some decent sandwiches. That said, as a jersey girl, the bagels are good, but they do not quite compare to the OG bagels of the NY-NJ area. BUT they are the best you can get in DC ...

Amazing bagels. It gets crowded and can take a while. But thats the sign of a good spot. Just wish they had a bigger space to accommodate the weekend rush. If you get a toasted bagel, ask for it double toasted. The single toast basically just warms it up.

TLDR: The staff is friendly, food is good/healthy/fast, location has many cool places to go to.The staff is very friendly and interesting. They have 6-7 bagels to choose from, their salmon/avocado bagel on blueberry is amazing. The coffee is good, they use Zekes. The service is quick as well, generally I want between 3-6 minutes depending on how busy it is.The location is clean, connected to a Jewish/Irish fusion bar. There are multiple cool places around the area.

So far, Ive only had the pleasure of tasting the Veggie, Salmon, and Wurst Bagelwitches, but they are all superb, so I assume all of their offerings are. Bagels are nice and fresh, just barely firm and crunchy, but not too hard to bite into. A regular visit for sure.

This place can get really busy! Expect long lines if you go during a meal rush time. Otherwise the bagels are great and Id recommend the jalapeño cream cheese on an everything bagel. They have good coffee too apparently.

This place has great bagels but is often out of them. A bit odd for a bagel place not to have bagels. We stopped by yesterday at 1 or so and they had no sandwiches. Today we texted an order and arrived 40 minutes later - they hadnt received it (despite a text confirmation) so now we have to wait another 20 minutes. They also have only have everything bagels and are out of salmon.

Fresh Bagels and nice combinations for a breakfast or lunch, you will find something with meat, vegetarian or vegan, so everybody will be happy. The coffee is also good and the staff is great. If you are in the mood for a beer, they have another business in the same floor, where you can enjoy both: bagel and beer.

The food is really good. I want to give them five stars but the past couple orders have been wrong and unclearly marked so we didnt know till we got home. If the next couple of orders are correct will raise to a 5. The everything bagel sammies are really, really good.

The organic soda was amazing, healthy and tasteful. But the pastrami was divine!!!! Love the staff, great selection to choose from for any occasion.

Among the best bagels in DC, but that’s a low bar, and it’s almost possible to take the bus to New York faster than you will get food on a weekend. In part because you will see multiple delivery orders go out while you wait. They need to stop the delivery or hire more staff.

It took me awhile to come around to Bullfrog Bagels and it still doesnt compare with a NYC bagel, but for DC, its not bad. This location is its original location and has a few seats at the window table to enjoy your breakfast there. However, most people get their bagel to go. Here are a few favorites:- Sesame bagel with honey walnut cream cheese if you have a sweet tooth.- Everything bagel with jalapeno cream cheese if you like savory.They also sell coffee, but I recommend grabbing a bagel here and getting your coffee at nearby Maketto.

So far Ive tried the half-smoked salmon bagelwich and the hummus/avocado/sprouts bagelwich, and both were phenomenal. The bagels are just the perfect consistency for me. There is tons of seating here, and the food is well worth the wait in line.

The wait was really long, not to the fault of the workers because they looked like they were working hard. The bagels were rather small compared to others Ive had, had very little cream cheese on it, and were very chewy. The coffee (Zekes coffee) was really good though.

Always great! Expect long lines on weekends in the mornings, and they will run out of bagels by the afternoon. Sandwiches are great, if a little pricey. You can obviously ordered assorted bakers dozens with a bunch of different cream cheese options. If you want coffee, walk two doors down to Maketto. Dont get it here. Bullfrog is also a completely different bar at night, but you can use their seating to eat in.

Theyre extremely busy, so it makes sense, but theyve got to figure out a system, especially with the recent surge in Uber eats, Postmates, etc. Went there recently and waited ~40 minutes from entering to leaving with a sandwich (which wasnt even what I wanted, as they were out of pastrami). Best sandwich on H st, but if you can Id go to Buffalo and Bergen.
