I went into Mattress Firm in DC with my partner to find a mattress for our new apartment. This was actually my first time buying a new mattress, and I was skeptical about spending very much money on one. However, the mattress we found is fantastic! The person helping us, Calvin, was very knowledgeable and friendly, patiently answering all of our questions. He also helped me find a pillow that is much better than the one Ive been using. Calving was fantastic, and Im really happy with our service.

I came in this week originally looking at one of the mattress in a box that they carry in the showroom in hopes of trying it out before purchasing in and was so thankful that I did because the mattress was not at all what I was looking for! Calvin did a fantastic job of helping me find exactly the right type of mattress I was looking for that was perfect for my needs. He was extremely personable, and gave me plenty time to weigh my options. I was able to get my mattress delivered the same week and they were able to take away my old mattress with no trouble! When I had a question about my delivery Manny was able to handle everything extremely quickly with no difficulty. I 100% recommended checking out the Columbus Heights showroom! I wish I had stopped by sooner.

The selection is good but this review is about the people. Specifically Calvin Terrell who went above and beyond during purchasing. Helpful throughout and without an ounce of pressure.Then the gentlemen who delivered the mattress, were fast and professional. Perfectionist and quick.Im a satisfied customer.

I ordered a queen plush end of 2/21 and received it within a few days. However after 3 weeks I determined I wanted to exchange. I called and Manny assisted me efficiently. He had me come back in, recommended other mattresses to lay on to try out. I went with a medium plush of another brand, which was more firm, it cost slightly more but he managed to do an even exchange and I got the new mattress delivered in two days! At the Same time they swapped out for the old one. They were very understanding that you need some time to adjust to a new mattress and don’t always get it right on the first try. I did have to pay for the delivery fee though. At the time I shopped they were offering a free adjustable base so all in all I got a great deal.

My mother and I were longggg over due for a new mattress when we decided to go to the Columbia heights store. That day I was more than lucky to have met the manager Mr. Garcia who gave us a warm welcome and went above and beyond explaining each mattress to us. We also got to lay on the beds that was my favorite part. That day we brought not just a new bed but a new life!!!!! Thank youuuuu so much for everything we appreciate your help very much.

My mattress arrived on time and feels even better than in the store. The two guys who brought the mattress were very helpful and friendly and even lifted the mattress on the frame even though they did not have to do that due to Covid. I am very pleased with entire experience.

I bought a mattress for my son and they agreed to deliver it 2 days later. When it showed up, it didnt include the bed frame, which was clearly part of the deal (the salesman said it several times). When we called to ask to get it delivered, the store said that if we looked at our paperwork carefully, well see that the bed frame wasnt included. It was clearly a bait and switch sales tactic. I wouldnt trust this store.

He walked me through the process, picking up in Columbia Heights with a moving truck could have been a nightmare, but it was a breeze. Mattress firm has some of the WORST customer service I have ever experienced and the sales associates are pretty back-handed. I bought a mattress and a $99 cover, which after asking several times was promised to me that it fits. But the policy is, even if it doesnt fit, you cannot return it, which the sales associates know. Well, guess what...it doesnt fit! So Im stuck with a $99 useless piece of fabric that they wont take back and honestly couldnt care less. Avoid!

I had great customer service from Victoria Eyoma. She was helpful with answering questions about the bed and all the different types. She even allowed me to pass out on one of the memory foam beds that were very comfortable. My intentions were not to buy a bed but I change my mind because of my experience with Victoria and her allowing to sleep on the bed even though I was still in my work clothes. Thank you Victoria!

Anthony was a dream. We picked this place over the place close by based on reviews about customer service. Before, we had an ikea mattress that was almost the end of our marriage. Prices on real beds are more like 1-3K, although they’ve got clearance items and they occasionally runs sales (our was the “friends and family” -20% off). For something you’ll use for a third of your life for the next 10 years, and which determines the quality of your waking hours, a really good bed is a really good deal. Anthony guided us without being pushy or clingy, answered all my questions (and I’m the type to have a lot of questions) and let us lay on every bed in the place, multiple times, until we found the right one at a price we could agree on. No heavy sales, just help. We were the last customers of the day and they delivered our mattress the next day for 89 bucks - if we had come early in the day we could have gotten same-day delivery!
