May be the worst Firestone on Earth! Customer service is great but service is horrendous. Dropped my truck at 8am only to pick up end of day with no work done, apparently couldn’t get around to it. Booked another appt, turned down at check-in bc mechanic called out sick. Brought another time, scheduled for 8 for a 2-hr job, came back at 3, wasn’t complete until 5 (this happened twice!). Got new brakes and rotors, back to squealing within a week.Only reason I continue to come here is bc of the convenience of dropping and walking 2 blocks to work. Going forward, I’ll accept the inconvenience of taking it elsewhere.

This review is coming from a current employee point of view. I’ve been working at this particular location for almost 4 years(Jan. 2,2022). Over the last year and a half I’ve seen 6 store managers whom are all now gone from the company or to another location. I respect the service men and woman and have grown many relationships with some of them. But I guess my complaint is now it’s my turn to relocate and not by choice but because management doesn’t know how to handle certain situations. One sided stories are begin giving and TBH I wasn’t the problem. Some of my fellow customers are not to please of learning that I will be moving and some have actually helped me and reached out to Corporate but of course us employees are left in the dark. But JBAB Firestone I will say helped me in a lot of ways and learned that “Employers Lose Great Employees because of Management” Iv learned a lot not only from a few co workers but the service men and woman on base and the Class Six Employees. Thank You.

Wife took our van to Firestone after a tire went flat. Ramon quoted her $600 for 2 tires and kept telling her it was unsafe to drive and the tires tread was dangerously low. He didnt feel safe with her driving 1 mile back home on 25 mph roads. The tries were only a year old with tons of tread left, nowhere near the treadwear indicator on the tire. Super dishonest and predatory tactics. Do NOT recommend.

Firestone Tony told me my tire could not be fixed due to where the damage lay, on the side tread. Well, I took my tire to Macs on Florida Avenue and they were successful with repairing it. I saved at least $100. Oh yeah, $100 for a check engine evaluation! Go to Advance Auto Store and get a free check engine light reading!

Excellent same day service. Been here twice and had no problems. Additionally, when I had to go to another Firestone due to emergent tire repair (JBAB didn’t have the right tire), the store manager called the other location and sorted out an issue with my warranty. Thanks, Noble!

I have used Firestone at the Bolling AFB location several times. Each time I’ve had an appointment and never was seen at that appointment time. Currently, I am at the same location with an appointment time of 0800 hours (8:00am). Two hours and thirty eight minutes later, they finally pulled my vehicle in the shop to work on it.The only reason why I think they started my car is because I happened to go outside to get some fresh air and saw my car still sitting in the same spot that I parked it in. I went to the clerk to get a status of my vehicle for them to say “Oh, we are pulling it in the shop now”. I think they forgot about me until I said something to them. This is unsat and something needs to be done about this.

I live and work on base and I am in here often - not for the Auto Care center, but in general. Ive stopped and chatted with the guys and gals here and there. I finally used the Auto Care center today (19Feb20) and tell you what - I am not disappointed. I spoke with a few people and everyone was great. I bought new tires (TireRack) for my sisters car, delivered to my house, and had them installed here. Tell you what, I will be back. Im nothing but impressed (especially if you know the stigma that normally comes with anything on base.)Im down. I highly recommend service here based on my single time having service done. Tires were installed in the correct direction, inflated to my specifications, and nothing was dirty, broken, lost, or otherwise.

I pre coordinated to get an oil change and have my brakes and tires replaced. I dropped the car off at 8 am and asked for it back by 4 pm. At 11 am I called and no work was started. After 1 they called to update me on the brakes and gave me a price twice as high as I was quoted with no additional work being done. After discussing this with the worker and manager they finally admitted to adding extra labor ($500+ of extra labor). At 230 pm they said it would be done in an hour and a half. I got there a 530 and they said it would be another 45 minutes. I finally got my car back at almost 6 pm. Awful, awful customer service. I truly believe they tried to cheat me out of 500 dollars and then punished me by taking 10 hours to do simple maintenance.

So, I dont have a problem with the people being rude but i do have a HUGE problem with their time management. I made an appointment with them and have been waiting for 5, going on six hours. Im not sure that it takes 6 hours to put tires on but I am not an expert. I mean, Ive done it at the junk yard a few times and doing four tires with a cheap tool with none of the fancy tools took me two hours. Might as well do that next time.I only give it a two because the people were nice. If time management been better, I would give a five.

It was horrible. I came in around noon and was told that they needed to order a part that would come in that day. I was to return at 8:00am the next day. They lied because the part was not in and I did not leave the shop until about 3:00pm. It was about 11:00am when they start working on my car and it is not working properly. It makes noise. It wasnt making noise before. I plan to call Corporate.

Ok experience. Took my truck in to have two tires replaced. The first day they didn’t do the work at all. Very odd. The new manager on shift apologized and offered to make it right the next day if I brought the truck back in. They did. I had to ask for another valve stem cover that was left off of the tires when I went to pick it up and there was grease all over the truck rims but at least the job got done. Convenient location on Bolling.

PROS: Located on base adjacent to exchange, commissary, and fitness center. Very friendly and personable staff.CONS: Timing. I had an appointment and from dropping of my vehicle to having keys in hand it was over 3.5 hours for a tire rotation and oil change. Manager noted they were short staffed that day. I would have gladly rescheduled given notice.I will probably come back given its location near work, but will aim for early morning appointment or drop it off and leave it all day rather than wait.

Other reviews are pretty accurate. I dropped my car off at 9 am and told them Id be back at 4 pm. Even called the day prior to see if they could fit me in. They said it wouldnt be a problem. Called me at 3:30 pm and said itd be ready between 430-5 because they didnt prioritize well. I showed up at 5 and it STILL wasnt ready. Didnt leave until 530 and they didnt even check the alignment which was supposed to be done for free since I just bought tires. They said I could come back and it get it done later. Absolutely not. The employees were nice but punctuality is professional. Not making customers wait an hour and half after they had SEVEN hours to do it.

I brought my auto to a Firestone facility to have my oil changed, tired rotated and new brakes. I received an oil change and tire rotation. The brakes were inspected with a recommendation that they be changed when I already asked for new brakes. Strike one! I drove my car less than 40 miles and the engine blew as if there wasnt any oil put in it. I had it towed back to the establishment to find out what happened. A claims adjuster was assigned and asked for my paperwork. I took a look at it and believe it or not the mechanic recorded the mileage incorrectly. I told the claims adjuster he could get it from the shop. Strike 2! This all transpired early July. The car was back at the shop long enough to put oil in if that was the cause before the third party adjustor arrived to inspect. The dipstick was pulled to check for evidence of oil, oil filter removed and oil pan removed. Long story short nothing was found and report generated. I had to call and email the adjustor and his Corporate director many times with no response. Very unprofessional Corporate claims department. Four short days ago I called again and asked the receptionist if she could find someone physically in the building to speak with concerning my case. She found a Sr. Corporate Retention Specialist that listened, asked if she could have time to review my case and promised she would get back to me. I informed her b.c. that had happened once already and she assured me I would hear back from her. A day and a half later she calls me back apologetic because she had to be the one to deliver some bad news. I respected the fact she lived up to her word. We worked out the detailed of what she could do for settlement and we agreed to the terms despite my personal feelings. Awaiting my check from Firestone Corporate. Thank you AK! Your company should value your compassionate heart and customer service by moving you to the Corporate Claims Director because the current person occupying the office is just there to collect a check and possibly play golf on company time because he didnt have enough spine to return a single one of my calls. Thank you again!

Took my wife’s Mercedez in for 4 new tires and a alignment. A week later the truck was throwing all kinds of fault codes for stability controls. Took it to a Mercedes dealer to check code, after a vechicle inspection it turns out that when they did the alignment on the truck the tech never tightened the bolts down on the rear tire to secure the alignment and the wheel was crooked. I would not recommend this place for any type of service what so ever.

Brought in a vehicle for an oil change at 0930. I was told it would be about a 2 hour wait and they would call me when it was completed. I didnt receive a call and by 1400 I reached out to them. They told me that the vehicle still is not ready but they are bringing it into the bay now for the oil change. I arrived at the Firestone at 1500 and was told again that they are just now bringing it into bay. Finally got my vehicle finished at 1520. The employee explained to me that they got backed up unexpectedly after I dropped the vehicle off. At the counter when I was checking out the mechanic came back out to ask for the keys because he left his rachet under the hood of the vehicle after he pulled it around to the front. When he dropped the keys back off to me he had the missing rachet cresent wrench in hand. At the check out counter the customer service representative asked if I had a number he could fax the receipt because he was having troubles printing it. Was finally able to walk out of the store with receipt in hand at 1530.

I stopped in to check on pricing availability for the purchase of tires. They didnt have what I needed but stated that they could get the tires by Monday. They seemed like an OK operation and I would have let them do the work if they had the tires at the time I was there. I moved on to the next tire store down the road to check pricing and availability there. Eventually, I bought tires at Sears. Im not at all displeased with this shop, they just didnt have what I needed. This shop is located on the base.

Ive been here 3 times. The first time was to get new tires. That only took 90 minutes longer than the clerk said it would. The next week, I notice the tire pressure in one of my tires was always low. I talked to one of the mechanics and he blamed the air filling station in front of the gas station. When he finally deigned to take a look at it he said the tpms seal was broken. The tpms seal they had just worked on a week ago. Another 90 minutes later and it was finally fixed. Amazingly they had the gall to try to charge me for the service. Also while I was waiting they had a bootlegged copy of an r rated movie playing in the waiting area. Completely inappropriate on so many levels. Today I thought Id give them another shot so I went in and asked about an oil change. I was told I would have to come get my car 3 hours later. Completely ridiculous. Never going here again. If youre thinking about going here, dont.

I came in for an oil change appointment, and I’ve currently been waiting for 2 hours. I’ve heard the gentleman at the counter tell each customer that has gone up to complain the same thing - “your vehicle is almost done, just a few more minutes.” He told me that over 30 minutes ago. Then he gets back on his phone, and continues texting. The moral of the story: don’t come here. Put this place out of business, so that an auto center can get in here that actually cares.

Awful. I am retired Navy with 25 years of service. My last two experiences here were beneath the service our military men and women deserve. The last straw was today when I called to schedule an appointment for an oil change. A woman named Vida (who I found on their website is the store manager), told me that even with an appointment I should be prepared to wait at least 90 minutes to two hours for an oil change. When I asked why it would take so long with an appointment, she said that they were always backed up. I then respectfully observed that the reason for an appointment was so that a customer does not have to deal with that kind of situation. She then began to lecture me on why their 90 minute to 2 hours oil change service was superior to other places like Jiffy Lube. She talked over me several times, became very combative, and would not let me speak. These people should be ashamed of themselves and someone from the military element on Bolling should get on top of the attitudes they have. Our military service members deserve better.

Attempted to have fleet vehicle serviced and was unfortunately lied to about the length of wait time. Appearantly, if you are a government employee, getting a government vehicle (National Park Service) serviced, you can presumably wait 6 hours for a tire to be changed. Even if you call the day before to verify wait times. Bad location, Andrews Firestone is no better-- frustrating. Firestone, your brand name is being demolished at these locations.

Quite literally the worst service I have ever experienced at any store period auto service or otherwise. After dropping off my vehicle at 8am three weeks after making an appointment I waited three hours only to be told my tires were sitting in a truck across the street and were not in the building. After being told it would be ready at 10:30 then 11 and then being told it would be at least another hour I had them put my old tires back on and left. If you dont have the ability to do a job why would you keep someone waiting for hours before telling them that. I wasted half a day in your lobby waiting for a service that couldnt even take place. This is all after 3 weeks of notice when 3+ hours of waiting. Never going back would give zero stars if I could. Go off base for service if you want real customer service.
