Wheres the 10 star button! The staff is friendly, the building is years old, but structured unique w/modern lighting & very relaxed atmosphere. Enjoyed the flavorful mouth bursting espresso flavors! Will definitely x10 be coming back for more!

All I can say is yum! The Washington Fog made with Earl Grey tea,brown sugar and steamed milk was wonderful. The tex mex tortilla delicious. The gooey buttercake super rich, I could only eat half, saving the other half till tomorrow. Very pleasant atmosphere. Friendly staff and quick service.

What a fantastic little gem! I took my daughter here on a coffee date and was so pleased with the service. The Americano I had was perfect, and my daughter was extremely pleased with her buttered toast and bacon, and later a chocolate croissant. We will definitely be back to underGROUNDS Espresso Bar! First time here it was amazing. Delicious food. We had the Spinach feta croissant and the Advocate croissant. A ceramal latte and the Washington fog and it was excellent. They allow our dog to came in and join us. Friendly staff. We will be back and we recommend this cute little cafe to anyone.

Love the vibe and the great selection of baked goods. I wish they had more options for frappés and flavored coffees, but the vanilla bean was still good. If youre more of a die hard coffee fan, without all the syrups and whipped cream, this is your place.

Awesome place I suggest you try the bacon lettuce and tomato sandwich or the breakfast sandwich with egg and cheese and bacon. Yummy

Awesome coffee flight

This place is so cute. Its small and business was very steady on a Saturday early afternoon. We drove 35 mins here specifically for the coffee flights, which didnt disapoint. The Iced mocha and hot chai latte were the best. Egg and toast sandwich was ok. We both added bacon and felt it needed something more. More bacon and more egg maybe? Got a large iced mocha to go afterwards. Hands down would come back. Next time we want to get the burban doodle everyone else was ordering.

I had a delicious combo of peppermint mocha and chocolate cookie with peppermint 😋. My daughter had the Gooey butter cake with a mocha. It hit the spot for our shopping downtown 😊!

There are several coffee shops in Washington, but this place stands out to me because they do their OWN thing. Its not the same old small-town coffee shop vibe. Nothing against that, but weve seen it over, and over. This is a very unique place that truly has an underground vibe that you usually dont get outside the city :) Ive had small fare meals here, and several different types of espresso drinks, and all of it has been excellent. A+

I like supporting local business and out of the local coffee shops its one of my faves, but the coffee can be a bit weak at times, however the sweets more than make up for it.

This place is so cool and inviting. Absolutely love it I will be back for sure!The BEST FEATURE for me is the fact they have non-dairy options AND variety of ways to sweeten.For those that have health concerns and/or have milk issues this is the place to get your drink. If you are Vegan you have options too.Its more of a destination place than an everyday due to location which is beautiful however inconvenience may be a problem for everyday use. Not really sure thats a bad thing makes it even cooler to me like a special treat.

Sweet atmosphere. Had great interactions with staff. Solid menu. Locally sourced food and drink. I tried the Tex-Mex Tortill-A, and it was great. Not too much, not too little, spiced to perfection. Will be returning.
