I just want to say, as a tourist visiting, my experience was amazing here! Fred Meyer is awesome because they hire awesome people like Heather! She was helpful, friendly, enthusiastic, welcoming, and bright! Oh and I probably owe my engagement to her! Thanks Heather and she said yes!

The natural section was the best thing this location had going for it.... they integrated everything and now its just an oversized, packed store thats not worth my time at all.. why they would take apart the best section is beyond me 😑

I just used their Online Shopping and Pick-up service for the first time today, and had a wonderful experience! They gave me options for the things that were not in-stock and called me to let me know that my order was done and ready for pick-up early! When I got there, the lady who brought out my groceries was friendly and went over my order with me. I will be using this service again! Thank you!

Loved going to Fred Meyer. We are from out of town but we were able to fine everything we needed. There is also a Starbucks in the store with wonderful service.

Its a very good supermarket, full of things, all kinds of discounts on the weekend.Although the price is a little expensive, you can buy almost everything you need.Theres also a small starbucks, a pharmacy, and a bank.But when I went here yesterday, I couldnt get many things.

I love to garden and when I went in yesterday there were no checkouts open in the Garden Center, on a Saturday! I had to take all my flowers and plants up front and wait in a HUGE LONG line . There were only 2 cashiers open. My time is valuable and I dont have time to wait for an hour to be rung up. See ya Freddies, I am going elsewhere.UPDATE- went in to the Garden Center on May 30th. Parked outside the Garden Center door. There were NO shopping carts there so I had to go to the main door to get one. I was told they do not provide empty carts at the Garden Center door.There were three employees there and I had to ask one of them to ring me up. 10 am. No one payed attention to me and I was ready to check out. When the female employee rang me up she loudly announced she was going on lunch and left so other customers had to go to the front of the store. Horrible service.

I enjoy coming here when Ive had too much of Walmart. Freds always has great products and I love seeing what new treasures they have. The prices are pretty good too.

I came in stressed to pick out an outfit for my interview the following day. Erica, in clothing, was super helpful, and she even told me her opinion on what I picked out. She didnt have to do that, but it made me feel better. She knew where things were, and she was very friendly. Traci, at the checkout counter, was also very supportive when I told her I had an interview. She was super nice, and she helped me immediately as I walked up. She also wished me good luck. I found everything I needed at FredMeyer, and I was not in the store long. Great customer service!

Went in to return some clothing items that did not fit. I brought the tags that I had removed and my receipt. Returning was as simple as grabbing the clothes in my size and bringing them to the customer service counter with my receipt. Renee was the kind woman at customer services that helped us. She responded to others with such grace and kindness! Had an awesome experience :)

Placed an order for drive up pickup. Arrived within the appointed time slot. Received a call saying they were still shopping for orders for 2 hours ago so we would have to come back 2 hours later. Wont be shopping with them anymore. Going to use Safeway! This has happened to multiple people.

I give fred meyer in Wasilla a 4 stars for todays visit because although it was busy, it was quick enough to get in and out without too much hassle. Most days unfortunately I would rate at 3 or 3 1/2 its because the lines are always incredibly long and their prices have gone up tremendously!

Strange layout. Walmart is cheaper

They ONLY offer Military Discounts every third Thursday 👎👎👎👎👎and 95% of their employees dont even know that much let alone how to give you the discounts. Ive gone through their own coupon book and found the right coupon that they need to scan for them. Their rewards program isnt anything to jump up and down about other than the extra coupons they send you. If you are there at the right time you might be able to find extra discounts on old items or food that is about to date out for the store.

Competitive prices and lots of inventory. Staff are easy to work with. I do wish they would redo their parking lot though; the one way aisles and diagonal parking spots make it easy to miss someone pulling out or coming in your direction. Ive had some near misses in several Freddies lots. Seems to be a company-wide problem.

I like Fred Meyers in general, but there has got to be a better way for them to ask people to take their things up to the register by 11pm than the rude and beyond unprofessional way they have it done now. I am not exaggerating when I say they literally get on their walkie talkie thing every 5 minutes starting at 10pm to let the people in apparel know that it is time to take your things to the front and very rudely offer to help find whatever it is we came there for.

Good grocery store. Some items are way overpriced. Sale stickers are often misleading or expired. They always play jazz on speakers and weird loud sounds are very annoying. However, employees are nice and check-out lines are moving fast. Gas points are awesome.

The self check-out line is a great option if you are in a hurry and the staff working this area are usually friendly and professional.The store is always clean and adequately maintained by the staff but the shelves are always missing many items. The items that are on sale or listed in the weekly ad are almost always missing from the shelves and the staff cannot seem to keep product in the store.

I shop here all the time. They have a huge selection & the prices are good. They have a great deli, with high quality meats & cheeses. They have a great selection of fresh fruits & vegetables. They also have good seafood. They carry household items, furniture, hunting & fishing gear, just about anything you need is available here!

I forget how much they have here. I love their baby section. Great prices, great sales. The floor color makes it seem drab and dark to me, though. Needs to be brighter.

They had a 70 0/0 off sale on summer clothes. Found a beautiful dress but even with the discount I still said 17.70 so they have beautiful things, but be prepared to pay for them. Their produce was good. They provide one piece of fruit per child per shopping filies, to me that makes the store amazing. They have a small free attended kid zone. Good variety in all sections of store, but they keep moving things so I spend time looking. But all around a good store. Great employees.

I work here for the same reason you shop here. Great, friendly people (mostly). Plus everything you need in one place. I have a suggestion though for some of the customers. DOWNLOAD THE APP!!! Set up your home store and you can find anything we carry by looking it up in the app. It wont pin point it but it will tell you the aisle and price. Plus you can get a rewards card, if you dont already have one, on your phone. And if you do already have one, great you can scan it to your phone.

Typically pretty busy, but always lots of checkouts open. Huge selection of food, and a good amount of everything else. Apparel, electronics, jewelry, furniture, home/garden, home office. Small kids area and extensive whole foods/organic section. Prices good as well.

Their pick up is a joke. I’ve waited now twice for an hour. The first time they “forgot” to put my order in. The second time it just took them that long. I get you have limited spaces but if I secure my order and I have my kid in the car, I don’t expect to wait 53 minutes....go to Walmart or target.

It is my favorite grocery store in Wasilla area. I always find the people that work here are friendly and go out of their way to help you find what you are looking for. Always looks clean and well organized. I take advantage of the child care play center too. My girls have fun time in there while I shop. Thanks Fred Meyer.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff, clean and well organized, great selection in grocery departments including organics and natural foods, nice variety of home goods, clothing, sporting and health items. They also have an automotive section and other various departments like electronics, photo lab, books, and such. Prices are comparable to Target; but they have better quality clothing and store brand grocery/home items. They also have great sales and deals, in-store coupons and a great app which lets you download coupons to your account and search store inventory pretty accurately.

I just moved here and found the staff to be so friendly and helpful .They also are reasonably priced. Definitely going to be doing the bulk of our shopping here.

My to go shopping for all my family shopping needs. I love how both entrances have their own U- scan. The the rows are all have signs that tell you whats down what row. The staff are so friendly knowledgeable and kind. I. Shop here every Tuesday and Thursday with my disabled father and handicap sister this has been a part of our weekly routine for years. Produce is the best in town and the keep things that I like that isnt all that common. They have good staff too. Deli is awesome but I am not a fan of their bakery. They make huge sandwiches! Fried chicken blows KFC out of the water. Enough said!

I love the bulk department. It was being expanded when I last went there. I also found good prices on sports equipment. The other grocery store chain in this area has convenience store pricing and no real selection. The only thing I really dislike is that the guns and ammo section is right next to playground balls, while the alcohol is hidden from the sight of children. I think guns should not be displayed at eye level for toddlers.

For the most part just fine but there has NEVER been a time that I havent been over charged for sale items or markdowns.For example the half gallons of milk was marked down to$.99 most went through at that price but three of them didnt. when I pointed this out to the cashier she got angry and wouldnt talk to me anymore.People, you need to watch the stuff getting scanned... This store has everything you need, and I wish I had Barb working for me. When we asked her where to find something, she replied as if she owned the store. I hope they know what a valuable employee they have in her!

I used to love shopping here. I always preferred going here over Walmart, but I no longer shop here in the Valley or ER. I am seriously sick of being PROFILED in this store by management for absolutely no reason. I have been followed throughout this store at the location in Wasilla and the one in Eagle River. I have never had this problem at the Anchorage location where there is much greater DIVERSITY in the community and therefore in their employees. In Wasilla I walked into the store and went straight to the ATM to withdraw cash to make a purchase. I was being hyper vigilant because I was at the ATM and I saw one of the store managers walk out from behind the customer service desk and stand about 15 feet away from me blatantly watching me as I used the ATM as if I was doing something suspicious and dishonest. Every time I looked over at the manager she would quickly look away from me as if she wasnt just awkwardly standing in the middle of the walk way for no reason other than to stare me down at the ATM like I was a criminal. I am a paralegal. I am very active in our community and I did not spend thousands and thousands of dollars in student loans studying criminal law just to be profiled by my own community for using an ATM in a grocery store in a predominantly white area. There was absolutely nothing that I was doing that should have made me look suspicious to this manager in any way! And if that wasnt bad enough, the manager immediately sent an employee that was working in customer service with her to follow me through the store and down an isle to spy on me by pretending to put something away that just so happened to be exactly where I was standing. I used to work in retail so I am aware of the tactics that retail stores employ for lost prevention. If this employee was actually putting an item away, he would have just politely waited until I was done because it was completely unnecessary for him to obnoxiously reach in front of me the way he did. I grabbed what I was shopping for and left the isle to head to the registers to purchase my items and the employee that was following me immediately left the isle as well. As I walked past the customer service desk I could see that the employee was reporting back to the manager after spying on me. The way I have been treated at these grocery stores in the Valley seriously gives me anxiety about shopping in a store as a person of color and it really is a shame.

The isle are way to narrow! You can barely walk down them with a basket if someone else is in the isle. Other than that the prices are good and they always have enough check out lanes open.

Had a very pleasant experience with a young cashier named Richard. He noticed I wasnt using my fuel points (because I didnt think I could here in the valley) and explained to me where they can be redeemed. He was very patient and ensured I completely understood. I know it may not seem like a big deal, but in a world where everyone is always rushing and only doing his/her job it was very refreshing!

Really dont want to give it two stars, because we go there all the time while we get some lunch along the way. Not the greatest store, its dirty inside. One of the shelves are understaffed and mismanaged, always so crowded that its ridiculously busy, high prices, long lines (sort of). People who work here are so kind of their manners and has great attitudes. Great selection of food, Parking lot is sloooooow, however. There is trash between the entrances. But fortunately I dont have a problem shopping here so thats good :)

Decent selection of stuff, but seems to be out of stock a lot. Most of the cashiers are friendly I have had a couple issues with some in the past being kinda rude. You have to kinda know the lay out or you will find yourself going in circles looking for stuff.

Always crowded. Consistently out of simple things like green bell peppers. Cashiers are friendly and quick but floor staff seems in short supply and not very quick to help.

The Facility is kept pretty clean, the people are fairly nice, and the setup of the store is, in comparison to other Fred Meyers, a very nice experience for the consumer when they enter this establishment. However, I do think that their deli should be more diverse as they do not allow you to simply pick bits of what you want from their selection as some products at the deli must be bought by the pound. The clothing area seems well kept, but the number of rooms to try on clothes I feel is lacking. Besides a few discrepancies, I believe this is a wonderful addition to the greater Wasilla area.

Lot less crowded and personable than other places. We were even asked if we would like assistance. You know how it is, youre normally chasing down an employee for customer service.

I order my groceries online and come pick them up same day. All of the employees have been so polite and professional. Honestly my 2 favorite things about the ClickList experience are that I dont have to lug my 4 kids around while I shop and that the employees who bring the groceries to your car are so wonderful. Ms. Dana is my favorite, she is so sweet and helpful.

My family does our weekly shopping here for all our food needs. Great store! Plus I love that AlaskaUSA has a branch inside and its open until 8pm. One stop shop for us:)

Great place for those who have kids and have a lot of shopping to do, they offer free fruit for kids. This helps a lot, the kids stay calm and quiet while your shopping. Great selection also.

They have pretty much got rid of all cashiers. They are like a high priced walmart anymore! Good luck not standing in line if you want to use a cashier!

Everything you usually need for a household. Has everything from electronics section, a jeweler, pharmacy, and booze store under one roof. Can get pretty crowed on weekends after about 10 pm and certain items completely. Disappear towards the end sometimes if they cant stock fast enough. Theres a hunting and fishing section, guns and I think ammo. This place much more desirable to shop compared to Walmart.

As always, fred meyers is a great store to shop at out of any other. I had never been to this location until this weekend and i found everything i needed quickly. No price shock. Helpful employees, and very polite. Found coupons easily... it is just a great experience no matter the location it seems.

A lot of the sales item were low or out. However, I shop there a lot because of the sales. The employees are always very helpful and the store is very clean.

On Dividend Day, we went to refill our coffers, but because I had written a check at their pharmacy before shopping for groceries, they would not approve an additional check to pay for groceries. I had to leave without $347 of groceries. They humiliated us as much as possible making us wait hours at the customer service counter. I wont ever go back. My check was good, my bank said so, and that the problem was on their end. They have to report checks to their lower-48 office, which was closed due to the time zone difference. My debit card has a hold on it by the bank because I had an identity theft problem with it, so I had to use a check. So all the time I spent shopping and all the time I spent trying to get my check approved, and all the time we had to stand there feeling like we were some kind of criminals was all for nothing. And they dont care that I will never do business there again. I will need to refill my insulin soon--I take 2 different types at $400.00 a refill. So, they lose 3x the amount of my groceries plus Ill never fill any prescription there again. Being a diabetic with multiple medical problems, they will lose a nice chunk of change in my taking my business elsewhere. But they dont care, do they? No, they dont.

Great store for visitors from out of town. Found everything we needed for our first day of fishing. Food, rubber boots, cooler, fishing gear. Awesome!

I generally am not a reviewer but the checker Josh just put my milk on my strawberries and was so indifferent it was almost rude. He packed my daughters new pacifier with raw chicken I was planning on sanitizing it anyway its just they normally ask when its raw chicken.I guess Im lucky I forgot my reusable bags I would have had bigger problems than smashed berries and bruised nectarines. I have never had any major issues at feddies which is why I have continued to shop there. Need to be more picky when picking a checker.

A one stop shop for food groceries, household items, toiletries, clothing, auto items, make-up, furniture & so many awesome & unique items for great & reasonable prices. They also offer supervised childcare for an hour, while the parents go shopping. Theres also an electronics section with an attached photoshop one-hour & drop off center.Some Fred Meyer carry fine jewelry store section with reasonable priced beautiful one of a kind created pieces of art jewelry. They have a great pharmaceutical section with great staff and some stores actually have additional Drive-Thru. Pharmacy when you cant come into the store because your in a hurry.

They need to fix the store hours on google, because it is completely wrong. They say their still open at 11 but I was kicked out at 10 and the store doesnt actually open until 7am.

Bring your own bags for your groceries. Or get paper bags for free when checking out

I just wanted to say thank you. My husband and I always have good experiences with Fred Meyer but our experience today was exceptional. We were shopping for bark chips to finish our landscaping. As it was the end of the season we were looking for a discount as well. We talked with various competitors with the Store and ended up on the phone with a manager, Kyle. He helped us find what we needed and we chose to go with Fred Meyer. As we were buying in bulk (50 bags) we went in to the customer service portion of the store and asked if we could ring up there and then load from the gardening center. Taylor was working the customer service counter and made sure we got rung up and let us talk with Kyle who gathered a small team (Quentin and Kevin) to help us load all the bags. It’s been awhile since I’ve seen customer service go the extra mile like this and wanted to express my thanks.
