Joes Tires has serviced area Waterbury people since the 1940s. Located on the west side near the Colonial Plaza theyre busy every day. A large inventory of tires gives buyers their choice and what they dont have they can order, like a size that isnt standard for the vehicle specifications on your car made by the manufacturer and used on the entire line. Going a tad larger, the tires ordered for my car was placed with the owner Rich the day before, came in the next morning and were on within the hour and a half they predicted after arrival. We had lunch in a plaza restaurant while we waited. Excellent service and job by the technicians with balancing the new tires, as well. They also do brakes and struts here. A fifty dollar coupon was available from the brand chosen with the purchase of four tires. What a deal! Enjoyed the smooth ride home.

Its a pleasant place to have your tires fixed. They always smile and listen attentively to your needs. If your tire problems are minor, they sometimes let you leave without taking a dime. No wonder, people of every income level head to Joe Tires. I have known them for years and tested them for years and I have never been disappointed, at least thus far. I went to ask a question the owner was very disrespectful and when i went to get into my car the employees started saying disrespectful remarks. This place is very unprofessional don’t waste your time nor money going here. They will be lazy and will tell you they don’t want to work on it.

I called up to see if Joes had the tires I needed. Thankfully they did, no one else had my tires in stock. Went down and in less than an hour I was done with new snow tires on. When leaving I was told I could go anywhere in the tires I had. Well so far I have. I will be back.

Horrible experience they scratched all 4 rims while installing new tires....... This doesnt $90000 High end S UV the dealer offered to repaint the Rims but as we all know rims art painted anymore they are powder coated so I was never going to let some guy show up with a spray paint can and try to fix my rims Realistically I got a set of tires but it cost me over a $1000 in damage

Love Joes - My Husband got a great deal last year on four tires so I figured I would try them first when my Low Pressure Warning light came on. They checked & patched my tire in under 30 minutes while I was on my lunch & did it for a great price as well!! Great customer service, will always use for any tire issues again!

Fast service,i was surprised a flat repair now cost $30,that means 25 plus tax for the repair (they use a patch vs plug) and 4 dollars to tip the boys in the garage..Well worth it to me,Joes (been going there for 40 plus years) been serving the area since 1928..

Too expensive i wanted a tire patched and u wanted to charge me 25 dollars i went to tonys tires on s main st and they only charged me 15 dollars so thts why i gave u such a poor score Rich im sure u guys are great ppl just too expensive for me im srry for the poor review i mean it was just a patch

Cheap and quick

Got a battery installed and in and out in about 10 min tops! Great price for the battery installed with. Good name brand. 👍 My family loves Joes here so i gotta put my good word on it.Only thing is i had a subwoofer Amp installed to the battery and it was not hooked back up properly. Small issue as its something i installed myself.(Battery was cheaper having installed than to buy.)

I went to this tire shop today. The guy at front desk was so rude. Unbelievable. I was front of three people .this guy decided to ignore me and call those behind me forward. I was so disgusted I left. Never will I go there again. Not recommend to anybody. If you pick and choose your customer thats is disgusting. Specially my first time ever there.. Very disappointed....

Today I had a tire blowout on a small landscaping trailer that just happened to be right in front of Joes, so I limped the trailer into the parking lot. Immediately a tech came out, removed the tire, and put a new one on. I was back on the road in less than 10 minutes for just the cost of the tire. Can’t thank you enough. Good people here

I called to schedule tire installations for two cars, but I didnt need to buy any since I purchased them new online (I can never find the right tire size and model at these places because my car is designed for lower profile 205 R4017).But I sensed customer service was a bit erked. Essentially was told Im not prioritized as a real customer because I hadnt purchased tires from them first, and I would need to wait till next week to be penciled in, ah well.. off to the next Google entry.

I always choose to get my car worked on here. Honestly, as a woman, I dont ever feel taken advantage of. I always get my tires from here as the prices are at least $200 less than other places with alignment and installation. Ive gotten brakes, comolete exhaust system, tune ups, and Ive never been disappointed.

Had a lug that had just started to round off and couldnt remove my tire, went to the counter to ask if they could assist. Was told Not even gonna look at it, maybe the end of next week.I get if you are busy but being rude isnt acceptable. Another local shop walked over used an impact wrench and was done. Took me longer to place this review than the service did.Oh, and when I asked how much? Was told nothing, no worries.I gave them a $20 and said buy the garage coffee for me.Thats how you take care of a customer.Wont return to Joes...ever.

I noticed if u were someone of a certain color u were treated differently. I didnt like it and i was over charged. Because i called the next day for the price on the same tires 30 dollar difference. The guy that waited on me wasnt friendly at all. Sad world. I wouldnt send anyone there ever.

Ive never been so insulated in my life . I grew up in waterbury and Joe tire shop has been around for years. Ive used then years ago and never had an issue . So in Aug Im tire pressures light came on and I was leaving on a trip so I ran to them and had it looked at they told me I had a stem valve leak and that if I wanted it fixed with the sensor its would cost around 95 dollars . I asked the guy if I had an issue would it be warranted he said yes not problem . Well today I went back down there about a month later and I told them the light was on . They said there was a couple of cars ahead of me . So I left my car with them told them I would leave it their just had to go somewheres real quickly and come right back, when I returned the gentleman told me I had a stem valve leak I told him they just fix it a month ago the man became very rude and pretty much called me a lair and told me it wasnt that tire because the stem was old look at it he went and grabbed one . Told me it must of been the back passinger tire Ive must of rotated them . And the original guy agreed with him he also stated that it wasnt the brand they used . I was upset and left without it fixed . When my son came home from school I asked him if he remembered what tire was fixed and my son said mom the fixed the front driver side tire . I also called my fathers mechanic because before last winter he also fixed one and put all new tires on my car when I asked he said he replaced the back right . This company apparently feels that they have the right to rip off female customers and it is not right I highly do not recommend to ever go to them they are very rude and if you were a female they will try to take advantage of you.

Flat tire, called and they were able to match the tire and have it the next day at 10am, I called at 11am and verifed they had the tire, set up appointment for 2pm, drove in and someone met me as I got out of the car and started the work immediately, new tire in place, nuts tightened, donut tire put back in place, checked air pressure on all tires, paid, done in 15 minutes, great service, tipped, drove away happy.

First time going here today...very pleased. Prices are low, but more importantly theyre super honest. They dont try to sell you garbage you dont need. Steering wheel was shaking all of a sudden and it turns out my tires needed rebalancing. Issue was taken care of in 15 minutes!

Bad experience,told Rich employee if I need to replace the tire I dont want to do anything,because my vehicle is all wheel drive,3min later his employee came out with the tire and rim separately I told him to put the tire back on the rim,he said Rich will charge me,and he got upset that I told him to put it back on,he was cursing and acting like he wanted to fight me,ignorant shouldnt be working their if you are not customer service friendly. You shouldnt be working at the tire shop.i still get my tire back on the rim,because I had the spare b4 i went to them.
