Put this on your bucket list! I am originally from Waterbury, CT. Although it has changed so much since I was a child one thing has remained the same: Fascia’s Chocolates. This is a family run business & the chocolates are made on site. You can go into their charming store, sit at a table inside or out, and eat your selected fresh chocolates with some coffee. They also have home made gelato. The chocolates melt in your mouth and burst with flavor. The family and staff are wonderful. If you don’t live in the area you can order the chocolates on line.

What a fun experience for our family who loves to travel. The homemade Gelato was so amazing! The chocolates were like no other weve ever had. So creamy and no overly sweet. Would we go back? 100% I would drive 3 hours just to go back

These are chocolates where there wont be one in the box you bite into and throw it out for bad flavor. The 16 oz. box of assorted dark and milk chocolates is chocolatier perfection.

We had a great time here today! 7 of us came in for the tour/chocolate bar making experience and it was really well done. The family obviously puts a lot of love into their craft and the sweets are some of the best Ive had. I will definitely be using Fascias for gifts in the future.

I love Fascias... stop by at least once a month for my fix! I also give boxed chocolates as gifts- hoping others will reciprocate when my birthday comes up. My kids got me a giant box of all my favorites that was brought to tears by for Mothers day. Nothing says it better than a box of Fascias!!

Life is sweet like chocolate, even with few nuts like us! We took a tour at Fascias Chocolate Factory in Waterbury This was a very informative and fun experience. We learned about the chocolate making process, had a tasting of the delicious samples, and we even got to make our own chocolate bars. I made mine a rainbow, no surprise there! Ill definitely be back for the chocolate and wine train tour

Amazing chocolate tour. We poured our own chocolate bars from well tempered chocolate. After it cooled, we packed them up and we enjoyed then at home. Its a fine chocolate confectionair. We sampled some delightful chocolates and took some home from the store. The chocolate covered cherries are $30/lb but worth every penny. We bought 4 of them and some other assorted truffles and caramels. The kids thought this was very cool.

I came here with a group of friends to participate in their chocolate bar making. It was great and well worth the time and price. The toppings they offered were good and the quality of the chocolate great. I highly recommend a visit.

Crazy busy with it being so close to valentines day. Everyone was wearing masks and they limit the amount of people in to shop. I was in and out quick. Great tasting chocolate. They also have a build your own candy bar kit! So cool!

First off the beautiful aroma of chocolate hits you as soon as you walk in. Very pretty front lobby. Nice staff. My friends and I did the make your own chocolate bar experience and it was nice to learn about the process of making chocolate while making chocolate. Also very nice learning about the family business. Hope they have good business for many more years. There gelatos look amazing, didn’t get to try this time but can’t wait to go back in the summer for some. And lastly the chocolate bar I made was one of the best chocolate bars I’ve ever had. Tasted rich and natural at the same time, if that makes any sense and melts in your mouth. Definitely taste the difference between other chocolate bars. And clean factory!

First time going to this place and I went on the tour and made my own chocolate bar. First off..... Its delicious 😋 but also you gain a deeper understanding of the complexities and science behind what goes into making good chocolate. Which would probably just further your love for it. Fascias knows how to make chocolate and they let you peak behind the curtain. 10/10 Would recommend.

Chocolates are delectable and delights. I would absolutely come back and get chocolates. If I had one complaint it is an older woman behind counter. She was supervising a younger woman and she was not polite and had no customer service at all. She interrupted a few times saying these are more money.... I can read and understood first time.

Probably one of the best chocolate shops in Connecticut. The tours when available are excellent as well. Already purchased my Christmas gifts online with curbside pickup!

Crazy good chocolate, pricey but you get what you pay for.

Went here for a birthday party and it was pretty amazing. They let the kids design a chocolate pizza dip some treats in more chocolate then finish the party with ice cream. If you dont mind a ton of sugar its a pretty good time! They also do adult parties and the prices are reasonable. Ill be back for sure.

They have an amazing tour they teach you all the properties of chocolate. The chocolate that they produce is amazing.

The friendly, helpful staff was well prepared to assist our group as we got to make our own chocolate bar.Next we were privileged to listen to an excellent presentation on chocolate - where it grows, how it is harvested and processed, and how it ends up in our hands as hot cocoa, brownies and candy.Then we had the wonderful experience of shopping for our own treasured bag of candy to bring home and enjoy which Im doing as I type this!I highly recommend a trip to Fascias Chocolates by any group looking for a unique fund raising experience!

Great little chocolate factory. The showroom has a great selection of chocolate goodies. They serve ice cream that they make themselves which is really good, its an Italian name that I cant remember. they offer factory tours, but I have not gone on one. Its close to the highway and easy to get to. Definitely worth trying.

Fascias Chocolates has saved me on many occasions with last minute gifts. Mothers day, Christmas, Valentines day, my own personal need to indulge, etc. Every item I have bought has tasted amazing. They are the reason I will eat dark chocolate. I recommend the tour they offer. It has a lot of info about the company and chocolate itself, and is just fun!

Fantastic to walk into Fascias again after I cant tell you how many years. What a treat to see all the homemade chocolates and taste test a couple. They just happen to be my favorites, carmels. So yummy. I bought a nice big box to take home to Florida to share with my wonderful husband. Youll enjoy every bite, just like Im going to.

The best chocolates around!

We went on the chocolate experience tour today and it was very interesting and a lot of fun! Our guide was very knowledgeable about the family owned and operated company and the way chocolate is made- from bean to bar. We made our own chocolate bars and saw into the chocolate factory area which you can only see through the windows and via camera but it was still fun to see. It was about an hour long, perfect for a rainy day activity! The store itself is full of delicious chocolates and gelato. It is on the pricey side, but after witnessing how the chocolate is hand crafted with such care, I wouldnt feel guilty for dropping the extra money.

Have been going there for years even got my wedding favors at Fascia’s 19 years ago the 12th. The chocolates are so so good.

I dont think I have ever seen a place as clean as Fascias Chocolate. The people there are amazing and will help you with everything. The tour is a fun learning experience for everyone with a love of chocolate. And who doesnt love good chocolate?! Their selection of fantastic chocolates will blow your mind trying to decide what to take home. I didnt try it but the gelato looks like the ones we had it Italy.

Did the Make Your Own Chocolate Bar and it was fantastic. Not only did my kids and I learn how chocolate is made and taste testing. I recommend to anyone interested in trying something new.

The New England Rail Road Museum in Thomaston, Connecticut often includes at stop at Fascias in their events like the Tequila Express.Their Chocolate is great an well worth at trip to Waterbury to try some.

I have gone to Facias since my father took me to the location on Meriden Road 50 years ago. Ive been around the world since then including Switzerland and Brussels many times. No chocolate compares to Fascias. Visiting is a cross between time travel and a visit to Wonka. A pure joy.

The quality has diminished remarkably over the years. I went near closing time and was reminded of that fact. I felt as if I was intruding when I was there.

Did a chocolate bar making event with my two daughters and 3 grandchildren (2, 4 and 7). It was great, we all loved it and the chocolate is delicious! Used a groupon, it was a great experience!

This is a commercial operation and the products cant come close to an artisanal chocolatier - of which there more then a few in Connecticut. This is not worth the stop - think Russell Stover quality

I took my kids for the tour today and what a great way to spend an afternoon! The tour was excellent and getting to see the factory was very cool. The samples and design your own chocolate bar were such a treat. The kids are already asking to go again.

Great local chocolate!

Fascias Chocolates has a good selection of chocolates, and will let you create your own box of assorted chocolates. It should be noted however, that they are confectionery meaning they dont actually make the chocolate, they take the pre-made chocolate and format into what you see in the store, adding ingredients and what not to get the specific type of truffle and whatnot that thay desire. I tried a considerable number of the assorted chocolates, and some of the other chocolate items they had in the store, I can say that chocolate is extremely good and well planned out. Anyone looking for super dark chocolate may feel left out however, as most of their dark chocolate hes in the neighborhood of 50%. The darkest chocolate I was able to find in the entire store whats the super dark chocolate flakes that were 72% and the chocolate blueberry bars, also at 72%.

The staff is so helpful. I have a gluten allergy and am doing the chocolate decadence train tour and I was unable to contact anyone from the rail road museum to find out if I had to bring my own food and the staff from here went out of their way to help me! I am so grateful!!

We had our wedding favors done here in April and people are still raving!!! I went to fascias to ask questions and sample many times and everyone we encountered were so helpful and pleasant!! Definately recommend them as a favor that your guests will enjoy and your money will be well spent! Fascias is now tradition for any gifts for our mothers or myself :)

The staff is super friendly and helpful. The samples are a special treat. Their sugar free selection is just as good as the regular. FASCIAS gelatos are also a must.
