I had a great experience buying an Escape from Ben Baker. He was awesome! Love my vehicle and Witham Auto. Ben was so accommodating and patient he even drove it to my house for me and picked up the car I traded in.

I had a horrible day today, but I got to meet the nicest people, and saw amazing customer service today. I had a very unusual situation. I had a flat tire, and tried turning into their parking lot to help me change it. My car made It to the turn lane and wouldn’t go any further, so 2 sales men came out and offered to push it in the parking lot. Thankfully, I was able to drive it in the lot! They were able to help me change my tire. Also, I was trying to drive back home from taking my dog to a doggy day care, so she was also in the car with me. They made sure to get her a cup of water, which was super sweet. While they were changing my tire my puppy got scared of a noise and ripped off her collar and ran away. One of the receptionist girls (I can’t remember her name for the life of me!), offered to drive me around to go find her, which was one of the nicest things I had experienced in my life! We didn’t find her, but they got my tire changed so I went to look for her on my own. The other works were going to keep an eye out for her. Everyone was amazing, especially since I was having such a hard time with my car, and then losing my puppy!! They were all so amazing to me! I wasn’t sure how to say thank you, besides writing a five star review.Animal patrol did find my puppy, and she was completely fine! Thank you for getting my car in and giving me a new tire very quickly, and a HUGE thank you to the women who drove me around to help me find my dog!

When it comes to the service, I would say 1 star... My cars been in the shop for 4 weeks and its still not fixed yet. Tomorrow will make it a month that my car has been sitting in the shop and its always, it should be done this week and then this week turns into next week or theres always a problem... its ridiculous to be honest

My girlfriends car is on its 3rd motor and they still refuse to trade it in towards something thats not under recall. The car is brand new. You better hope you dont have any reoccurring problems with your vehicle if you buy from them, because they wont work with you until they absolutely have to.

Im writing this review due to the unprofessional and terrible service that we received from the service department. April 1, 2019 I was driving home from a out of town trip and stopped in CR at a parts store for some things--my truck died while pulling in the parking lot. Almost acted like it ran out of diesel. I left the truck and had it towed to my personal mechanic close by, but after much investigating, he stated that it would need to go to a Ford dealer for warranty purposes. I paid to have the truck towed from CR to Waterloo and they were to do a diagnostic inspection and see what all was needed to fix the fuel system. It was determined that there was vandalism to the system and would require extensive repairs. Insurance was involved. I was dealing with Chad in the service dept. We had conversations that they would figure out the cost and see what insur. would cover and then we would talk and figure out the plan. To my surprise, I received a picture of my truck up on the lift--cab off--and completely torn apart! I had NEVER gave any authorization to work on my truck....but Chad argued with me in a heated conversation that since the insurance agent okd the claim...that was the ok to work on my truck. He was VERY rude and argued with me about the whole situation...telling me that I would have to pay for what they did on the truck so far---even though I pointed out that he did NOT have any authorization to work on it!! I told him to put the truck back together and I would have it towed elsewhere--so that I would be treated like a customer deserved to be treated. AND...that the guidelines of making sure authorization was given BEFORE tearing apart a guys truck!! I showed up to see my truck and they had thrown parts everywhere....in the back seat and the bed of the truck....Along with the fact of several extra parts that were charged to the insurance....and those parts werent even needed to be replaced.I have since gotten my truck repaired by another mechanic and am very happy with the turnout. Chad was VERY unprofessional through this whole situation and I wouldnt ever go there to purchase a vehicle or have a vehicle worked on due to how I was treated. Attached are some photos of how I found my truck when I went to have it towed out of Witham....parts all over and hoses left with opened ends for exposure to outside elements.

My husband and I are extremely satisfied with Witham Auto Centers staff... from the moment Julie helped us over the phone, to the moment we met with Kevin Schwarzhoff, the director of fixed operations, everything went so smooth and quick! Very professional staff, great communication, great service and best of all, GREAT WORK!!! Thank you Kevin and Julie and the rest of the staff to get our truck looking like new again!! Most of the staff was friendly except receptionist. Aaron P is professional and respectful. Witham has a long standing great reputation in the Cedar Valley.

Got the oil changed in my car. The service tech at the desk was a little pushy about tire rotation and filter replacement. We will decide when we can afford to replace them. Unless you want to do that dont be so pushy about it and just suggest that it needs to be done.

They have horrible customer service until they realize that the problem with your Kia thst you just bought 2 months ago is a manufacturer problem.... then they act like you are an old friend. The La Porte branch is 10 times better.

I purchased my truck 10/2020 and I have had it in the shop more than I have drove it. Constant problems with the engine, service techs are rude, they barely fix the vehicle in hopes the warranty will run out so the customer is liable for the costs! Bs! I will never buy anything from them and I wouldnt recommend no one to this place! You dont deserve the 1 star I had to give you!!!!

Had a door dent and deep scratches in my brand new truck I had bought elsewhere (just because they had the truck I had wanted). Withams auto body department fixed the dent and scratches and it is flawless. Excellent job. Also appreciated the masks and cleanliness of the place since Im in health care and trying to avoid as much contact with people right now as possible.

I do not Recommend this place at all, I was lied to, I was cheated in every way they can cheat a customer, I trusted them because they were a large dealership, and did not realize what they did till a year and a half after the purchases, went for a pickup, was pushed into a car that was year end left over, was promised a 5,000 Ford rebate I never received, I ended up paying more than double the M.S.R.P. and even FORD motor company will not call me back or fix the problem. I have been trying since March 2017, getting nowhere, still dont have my New Pickup to this Day. If I were Ford I would not allow my Ford sign to stand at that dealership, and I would also return calls to my customers. If this is not fixed to a fair satisfaction, I will never buy another Ford.

Ben assisted us with purchasing a FJ Cruiser. We contacted him from out of state, Ben was able to get us all the information we needed to feel confident in making the 4 hour drive. Ask for Dave. He always gets my car running smoothly. He saved me hundreds $$$ by finding out I had a warranty on a part. I didnt even know! Plus, Dave tells me exactly whats going on with my vehicle, and lets me know if theres a potential problem down the road that I should address or be careful to monitor. Hes always so polite and patient with my lack of car mechanic knowledge. He always shows genuine concern for the road safety of my car. He even talked with my car loan place to get them to add the much needed repair to my loan; they initially had told me no. I couldnt even drive my car if it wasnt repaired, and I didnt have the upfront money for the repair. Thanks to Dave at Witham Auto Center in Waterloo, Im safely on the road.This is not the cheapest place in town, but the exceptional work is well worth the cost. The peace of mind knowing that I and my child have reliable transportation is priceless!My interactions with other staff has also been outstanding. They all make effort to treat customers like they actually care about our concerns.Just an overall excellent auto repair shop!BTW- theres free fresh popped popcorn and fresh brewed coffee in the waiting area. Nice little treat.

I 5 least 6 times and never fixed the problem. They said that they would fix it when I bought it and the wanted to charge me a t0 deductible when they did fix it. lets not even mention how they responded when I expected a loaner. They eventually had to change the entire motor and it still isnt running right. Asked them what to do to get out of it and they stated had to be I n the loan for at least 18 months or have a very strong co signer. I have not even had a late payment since I got the can and my insurance has never lapsed. Yet they still wont willing to look for option. We need to fix your car. Well they havent yet. I feel like I have been paying for them to experiment on my car and play guess what a wrong. I am so over this whole experience

We will no longer trust our warranty service with them. MY husband had issues with internal waterpump on a ford f 150. Do not got here. The problem was diagnosed by our mechanic and would be covered by the extended warranty. It was recommended to go to a dealership. The truck was sitting in the department over Friday and Saturday. The tech, was not forthcoming about when it would be looked at, how busy or providing a loaner. The loaner came from Enterprise at 35 a day... Really.... Come Monday...no call .. ... Go to Caldwell honest folks, a free loaner, and time estimate for repairs. Our truck was being taken care of.Sorry Witham, you lost a future car sale to.

Do not trust the service dept! I have 30yrs of veh design experience and I know the service dept charges for unnecessary parts and labor. We took our Kia Soul in because the engine light was on. After a week they replaced a $200 sensor and the light was still on - they said they couldn’t find the problem but yet insisted the sensor was faulty. They also lost (or tossed) our lug nut key and insisted we pay $125 for a new set. This is the 3rd horrible service experience here- never again!

I got a 2019 Festa for my wife. My sales team Jacob Barnhart and Scot Hekle made it easy and fun. I Saved a ton of money and made something my wife has been nagging me for as long as I can remember something that she still cant stop talking about. Somehow I dont mind that anymore. Got us running after a car issue. Claim to need to repair a transmission leak I never saw with a new seal kit. After paying $485. I can now see the leak on the ground were ever I park. I wouldnt suggest going there for anything major. I have since found out that their claim to get their screw up fix will not be covered as warranty work. Maybe they would fix it, but to be honest, I would never step foot in there again. It will cost another $500. to fix the Witham repair which was a possible scam to begin with. PLEASE GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT NOT THERE>

From top to bottom the Witham experience and team were great. Very smooth, low pressure, always conscientious of our time and the fact they sell GM, Ford, Kia and ultimately the Volkswagen we bought made them just what we needed. Highly recommend considering them for a vehicle purchase.

I call in with questions for service and if needed, I receive an appointment for service within a day or two. If its urgent, Im told to come right over. The salesmen, especially Will Parker, will come out, and help with my learning curve on my new car. I have some features now that were also on my old car, but I never learned what they were for. I know I could probably get some oil changes or other maintenance at a lower cost elsewhere, but to me its not worth it. I stick with Bill Witham because they take care of me. Ive now purchased five cars from Bill Witham and if Im still around, Ill buy number six there, too.
