Oh my stars this place is amazing and the macarons are so good. We tried several different flavors and have to say not one of them was anything but amazing taste and flavor. I plan on getting them for my entire company as a treat some time. Keep up the great work Sani!! Cant wait to come down again.

This place is my favorite guilty pleasure. Never had macaroon but I get the wafers (❤️ my wafers)and other desserts. The spinach thing is omg good.

This was my first time trying Macarons by Sani. I have always wanted to ever since I had found out about the shop, and I finally got the chance to go. There was a wide variety of flavors to choose from, and it was so hard to choose, but the flavors I chose were absolutely delicious. Flavorful, melt in your mouth, they were absolutely incredible. Definitely recommend going here and trying an authentic french treat!

Ordered some custom macarons for my husbands birthday and they were wonderful! Taste amazing, looked great, and Sani was very easy to work with. Will be back for more of these treats as a great for myself and possibly for holiday gifts ☺️

I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars because I got six macarons of various flavors and they were the best thing Ive ever eaten and Ive had macarons from multiple places before. The store itself was also very cute!

I’ve tried many Macarons from many different places, but none come close to Macarons by Sani. As soon as you bite into any of the Macarons, you immediately can tell they are top-notch! The freshness and quality these desserts offer (every time) makes me come back for more; I live 2 hours away but the drive is worth it. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the service is impeccable! This shop is a huge asset for downtown Waterloo.

THE BEST MACARONS ANYWHERE!! A place like no where else in town, a place you can come and hang out with your girlfriend, have coffee, something sweet to eat, and one of the best hostesses. I just love coming here ❤️

So good!! Perfect crumble with moist gooey center. Favorites of our family were raspberry, cotton candy, orange, almond, and tiramisu!! Very friendly and cute shop. We will definitely go back :)

These are the MOST DELICIOUS macarons I’ve ever tasted ! All of the flavors were so tasty!

I have been here twice now. The service is warm and friendly, the shop is adorable. Thats for the two stars.To preface this, I used to make macarons daily as a pastry cook in Manhattan.The macarons here are simply not good. I have had 14 different macarons from this place from the two visits. The first time 3 of the 4 macarons were crunchy with no softness whatsoever! The softer one had a filling with more moisture and Im guessing thats why it was softer. It was during their soft opening so I was hoping it was a fluke.The second time I bought ten macarons, each one a different flavor. All but three were crunchy and hard! If they were not hard they were somehow dry. I was so disappointed. The box was supposed to be shared between myself, two kids and my husband. We would take a small bite from each. I tried each one hoping for a properly textured macaron. We ended up tossing out half of them. I make macarons frequently so my kids are spoiled with them but didnt want these macarons.The fillings (minus the coffee one) are veeerrry sweet and reminiscent of canned frosting, which I do like but not for an already sweet cookie. The flavors themselves were very good though and therefore the third star. I could taste the food coloring in some cookies but I have a strong taste for that, it always taste bitter to me.I dont know where the good reviews come from, I dont know if theyve never had a proper macaron and just dont know any better. The business this was bought from (Ooh La La Macarons) made very good macarons that were soft and chewy and Im not sure when the ball dropped but these just arent good. I hope it changes bc it would be a lovely addition to Waterloo, so long as they turn out proper, soft/chewy/slightly crispy macarons, not hard and crunchy cookies. They should be delicate little chewy clouds. Not hard or crunchy, ever.
