We are delighted with our Natuzzi purchase from Italian Design Interiors! Michael is a genius and saved us so much headache after months of searching on our own. We were furnishing a small room with a challenging layout, and he created the design and options based on our preferences. He has an eye for color and scale and is wonderful to work with. You dont see this level of expertise and professionalism in your typical furniture store, but you will at IDI. I also highly recommend the White Glove delivery option; for a little extra money, you receive a flawless delivery and setup in the room. Priceless!

Great furniture. Just dont have it break on you. Or have that power reclining mechanism fail. They outsource repairs to Guardsman Furniture Repair and if you take a look at any of THEIR reviews on yelp or google you will be quite dismayed.

My family has been buying furniture from Italian Design for 23 years. The store owner, Irina, has always been the best resource. At Italian Design we always found exceptional design and quality. We are still enjoying some pieces we bought 23 years ago along with the new furnishings. During our last project, a dining room furniture selection, Irina listened to our needs and wishes while helping us to make the right choices. She even sent us photos of tables and chairs from her furniture shopping trip in Italy! We are now enjoying our new expandable dining table and comfortable contemporary leather chairs!

We had a wonderful experience with the owners helping us with a table we purchased from them 15 years ago. An Italian glass table had chipped and, although the table was no longer made, they had saved one set of replacement glass leaves from many years ago. They gave it to us at no charge!! Unique furniture that you just cant find elsewhere at anywhere near the price. We ultimately purchased another interesting Italian table and 4 chairs from them as well. Dont buy any modern furniture until you check this store.

We had been to over 10 furniture stores. Everywhere from the Design Center to downtown Boston. I was at my wits end when we walked into Italian Design Interiors. The owner, Irina and Michael were so nice and helpful that we ended up furnishing our entire new house through them. They didnt have everything I was looking for on display, but they both sent me catalog images until I found exactly what I wanted. They were a pleasure to work with and my house is beyond beautiful!!

It was a warm sunny day when Irina D walked into my brand new, bare, whitewalled condo in Brooklyn Heights, NY. She went right to work using her impeccable understanding in interior design. I bought a beautiful sofa from this store and bedroom set 7 years ago and put some deposit for a coffee table. However the owner was extremely mean to me because I changed my mind and asked her don’t refund me the money I put for a tablet instead move the fund to cover the balance remaining in bed and sofa. She totally refused and was very aggressive and say take something else but whatever I ask in the store she was asking for more money and ended up selling me the ugly and simple flower vase which I never wanted for $300! I will NEVER FORGET THE PAINFUL EXPERIENCE with that woman!👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽

Michael put together a 3D image of exactly what the room would look like and Irina helped to bring everything together, down to the color. As one of the first customers of the store, I guess my review is a bit overdue. Some of the furniture we purchased here over two decades ago was purchased last year with our previous house by its new owners. Irina has always had an eye for timeless design and high quality. The store is a family affair, so they do take any problems personally. However, we never had a problem that was left unresolved. Thats why the current house is our 4th residence in over 20 years that has been furnished by IDI.This is not a cheap (in every sense of the word) discount furniture store. However, their furniture is a great value if you look for something to last, to impress your guests and to please you for years to come.

I recently purchased my dream home in Boston which entailed a renovation of both my kitchen and bathroom as well as complete new décor.I first met the very talented owner and designer, Irina Drogobetsky when I was searching for furniture for several rooms. The selection of Italian designers is vast and I loved the fact that I could custom the pieces to fit perfectly in my space. The furniture I purchased was sleek, sophisticated, comfortable and unique.Although the selection and furniture is very important, the experience I had with this family owned business was what makes IDI a stand out in the designer industry. Originally I went to IDI to select furniture for my entire home, but it turned into so much more.I was in need of a kitchen designer and contractor, but the prices of the Boston designer and contracting companies left me both overwhelmed and nervous. I explained this to Irina as just part of a conversation and she quickly jumped in to save the day. Irina pulled in her team of pros; which included her husband Arkady, Michael, Marie and Igor. Honestly, they are a ‘dream’ team of pros!They were all very methodical and helped my husband and I flush out the vision we had to create a beautiful, functional, and elegant kitchen. They helped with every detail, measuring perfectly, helping us to think of all the little things that a home owner simply could not think of on their own.Arkady installed the kitchen with precision, he was extremely precise, professional and worked with my plumber and electrician explaining the specifications so there were no mistakes.IDI also helped to design my master bath. We optimized the space while keeping it elegant and sleek. It was very important to me to design my home with sophistication, modern and transitional pieces all the while keeping the original elegance of the Beacon Hill architecture.Every room has what Irina refers to as a ‘wow factor’. My favorite piece is a custom design from Carpanelli that will be the focal point for our dining room. IDI worked with Carpanelli to create this unique cabinet with different colors of wood complete with glass and lighting.Irina and her team went so far beyond what I could have imagined and I have never met a team of people this talented and generous, especially Irina. She helped me select tile, appliances and fixtures. She did this because she wanted my home to be beautiful. All of this was done on her own personal time and without any extra expense to me. I value her opinion so much that I find myself calling her before I make my final selections. She always thinks of something I missed.Irina put me into contact with other design professionals when it was not her area of expertise. For example, Casa Design Boston, for my lighting. Which is not only lighting, but a piece of art.I have done renovations in the past and I’ve ordered my share of furniture and I’ve never met an individual, designer or company that cares about the client experience and the products like IDI.IDI kept us updated on deliveries, installation schedules and product details constantly without ever being asked. They were always one step ahead of me.IDI went well beyond the scope of work. Irina always says to me, “Don’t worry honey”. Honestly, I did not worry, knowing that she is helping guide me through what can be an overwhelming experience for a homeowner.What started off as a professional relationship with IDI has turned into a friendship.
