I came to this store recently to buy a few items for my moms car (alternator, belts rental tool). The gentlemen helping me was very helpful and looked like he was working hard. (It has been a good while since Ive had to come here, since the past experiences werent so great). Unfortunately, he put in the wrong information and warranty was given to someone else. When I went to go pickup the part I ordered they couldnt find the part due to the employee putting in the wrong information. Another employee was able to help me switch the warranty and information back to my account and found the part I ordered. I rented a Serpentine Belt Tensioner Tool and didnt realize this was meant only for spring loaded tension belts only and not for STRETCH FIT belts (they assured me this would work for my vehicle). My mom went to go return the tool and asked for a belt stretch tool and they responded with that the person attempting to use this tool doesnt know how to use it. (my brother has a truck with a spring loaded belt) there is a big difference between the two types of belts. No offense but apparently these employees dont know what they are selling/renting. Now I recall why I stopped coming to this store a lot of there employees here dont know jack about the auto industry. Only reason I came here is because they were the only store near me with an alternator. 2 Stars are for the 2 employees that tried to help me out.

Had my car battery die, called them with the specs. manager said they had the battery I needed.Get my car jumped and drive to autozone.The manager was counting the register and wouldnt help me, another customer, and his family asked for assistance, and the manager copped an attitude, and the customer asked him if he wanted to step outside. after all that the manager tested my battery which needed to be replaced. and low and behold they dont carry the replacement he said that they had on the phone. car wouldnt start walked across the street to OReilly auto parts whom had what I needed. had an autozone employee help me install my battery, but found out in Santa cruz he installed it wrong.... never again, the Manager should be FIRED.

Terrible experience! I ordered some parts and they didn’t have them at the time they were supposed to be delivered so they told me to come back in 30 min. I came back 2 hours later and they only had half the parts!!! The clerk that helped me was NO HELP EITHER. I will not go back
