I go here for oil changes and to make sure everything is going good and the employees are really friendly and you get service right away

I have gone here for oil changes for several years. They are very friendly and knowledgeable. Getting an appointment and confirmation online was very easy, and they made sure to keep me posted on the phone as to the status of my tires as they were being shipped to the shop. The only issue I had was that there was a discrepancy between what the official email confirmation told me thay were going to charge, and what they charged me in the shop. Apparently, the email did not take into account the fees for old tire disposal and change of valve stems etc., which it definitely should. It turned out to ba a small difference, so it was fine. Thanks again guys.

Professional, kind, honest, responsive, informative and never pressured me to buy anything I didnt want. I bought a set of tires. Ive lived here 7 years and frustrated with myself that Ive only just now tried them out. I will be returning for all my auto needs. I highly recommend this establishment.

I like this place and keep going back. Have an older car and like that they appreciate that and still have the knowledge and experience to work on it. Takes them a while to obtain the parts but they go the distance and do the dance. They are expensive. But theyll tell you whats what. Even if its bad news...

Jen and the team got me in on short notice for a complete brake job. Pads and rotors all around and a fluid flush. They discovered a caliper was stuck and were able to get that replaced while I was there too. Price was very competitive. Top notch job on the brakes. Highly recommended. Ordered a full set of Goodyear tires, near the end of installation Im informed by an employee that one of the tires is likely bad, it just wont balance right and your rims are fine, theres nothing we can do now, but if you feel your car shaking from the tire you can come back and well order you a new one for free that being said, they KNEW there was an issue with a tire, but theres nothing they can do. Just sounded like a HUGE safety hazard. Ended up shaking my car at high speeds and getting replaced. Why couldnt they have just replaced what they knew was a bad tire to begin with? Ill probably go somewhere different next time. This place is a bit too sketchy for my liking, although the front desk employees were very nice, Ill give them that.

The staff is friendly and helpful; they explain everything your vehicle needs, break down costs, and are honest. They didnt start any work without my approval and let me know how long it would take.. The waiting room is SO clean! Very happy with Wauconda Car Care and will continue to have my vehicles serviced by them!

I came here to replace a worn out tire. The technician took extra care of my rim. No scratches or any damage. Very happy with the results. Will be coming here again for next tire replacement.

I highly recommend this shop. I came in to fix a flat tire. Unfortunately, it couldnt be fixed that evening. I was stuck and didnt know what to do as my car was sitting on a rim w/o a spare. However, crew member found a solution for temporary fix just so I could safely drive home and return the next day for the new tire installation. I wasnt charged for the extra work they completed that evening. Next day, tire was installed in 20 minutes! Everyone I spoke to was professional and respectful.

Capable mechanics but will try and scare you into making big purchases.They wont want to help you with small jobs eg. replacing bulbs, checking fluids etc. If youre not there to spend a lot of money - theyd rather not be bothered.

What a great service !!They Changed my Tires for a very good price, just a great deal that saved me around $200.00 compering to several other quotes Ive done.After they where done in around 1 hour just like they promised....I came out to a nice surprise ! They washed my car in and out, theyve done a better job than my local car wash and I am serious about it !!! No additional charge.. They told me to come back after EVERY 6000 miles to do a free tires rotation..In addition to that they also gave me mail in rebate to receive a Visa Card for $40.00I really wish every service was that professional. Great experience. These guys are fast and honest. I had a tire that had a nail which was close to the sidewall. They couldnt patch it but instead of trying to sell me a new tire they removed the nail and tested for a leak. No leak and no charge! Definitely recommend their service.

Once you find a mechanic that is honest and straight with you, you stick with them. Ive taken my cars here several times with issues, and always felt like I was being treated fairly. This particular trip was because of some issues I was having getting the car started. Every other place I have been in the past would have come back with a list of must do issues that they found during the inspection. This place calls me and tells me it needs a new battery and that was all they found that was an issue. They charged me a fair price and did the work quickly. I will go back here every time.

Wauconda Care Care is wonderful! I traveled from Davenport, Iowa yesterday and arrived in Wauconda with a piece of my bumper scraping loudly. I wasnt sure if it was safe to drive the car and called to see if I could get an appointment to check it out. I brought my Prius in and they checked it right away. They fixed it temporarily and explained that I could take it to my local dealer for repairs. He noticed that my tire pressure was low and added air for me. Last but not least...there was no charge! Very honest & affordable! Came in at the last minute turns out I couldnt drive my car due to a leak that wouldve ruined my motor.... They showed me everything, & before they even told me what was wrong w/my vehicle Jose call a Chevy dealership to see what service bulletins were available for my car! Turns out there were several & my car qualified so I had wauconda car care fix the part that wasnt under warranty so I could drive the car & Ill be taking it to the dealership to do the recall work! Jose saved me $600! Thank you Jose!! And the work WCC did turned out to be about $50 cheaper than they originally quoted! What car repair place is that fair & honest nowadays?! Ill definitely go back there if need be! Jose was awesome, thorough, sweet, & professional! And Bob, the mechanic that did the work, was great!

Top notch service! I am skeptical of Auto repair places as I have been burned a few time in the past so I searched long and hard to find a good location near my new place. I came across Wauconda Auto Care and decided to give them a shot.They provided the best customer service I have ever experienced from an auto shop. The waiting room is clean and neat, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the management is top notch. They kept me updated on the progress of my car (it was a 9 hour job) and assured me that if I didnt get my car back in time they would supply me a loaner so that I would be able to get to work. They are also fairly priced and reasonable people to boot.I really cant say enough good things. I feel comfortable knowing that if my car has problems, it will be in great hands with Wauconda Auto Care.

Both my front tires went flat by either slashing or road debri.I was given excellent service! They not only replaced my tires, but did everything they could to find the most cost effective way to handle my issues.Even spoke on the phone with a family member and showed the police what was wrong.Great service and work.Highly recommend them!

Had a minor repair done at their recommendation (Replace serpentine belt) . 3 weeks later the belt tension-er broke and the owner said they wouldnt pay because it couldnt have been their fault as it had nothing to do with their repair. (It is the tension for the belt they replaced.They have definitely lost my business

My wife went in because the headlight on her car was out. The technician told her that he would have to take the whole bumper off to fix it and it would cost more than $60 dollars!!Literally just a burned out lightbulb that took me less than a minute to replace. Thank God she knew they were either incompetent or trying to rip her off and left. Be careful with this shop!

3rd time going here and last time I take my vehicle here. To start off the people are nice dont get me wrong but the products are horrible. They use aerosol products that dry out the color in the interior of your vehicle making it look condensed and even faded. As if draining its natural color, not giving it any glow. I also tell them every time to dry out my brakes & calipers since they are performance brakes and cannot stay with any water residue near or around them. They never do it. And lastly, the 3rd time I took it in once they got to the interior phase (of course: aerosol products) there was small puddles of cleaner spray in my cup holders, arm rest, and near driver seat. I only come here due to convenience since it is a 5 min drive from home, but lesson learned.

Horrible place took my car there twice got it back broken each time. Their customer service is the worst Ive seen, go in and I have to wait around to be seen then the break my car and I get mad and they look at me like Im stupid. They are suppose to be the experts yet they just go through the motions with no care in the world for anyones property!! Ill never go there again.
