The Service Department here is outstanding! They got us in quickly, were ready when we arrived, and had our car fixed earlier than their estimate. I highly recommend.

I really like the accessibility of the service team; whenever I call I get an actual person, not a voicemail which really gives a personal touch. The service team is super friendly and polite. Cory was working with my vehicle for my most recent experience. He was friendly and informative about what needed to be done for my recall, and called as soon as my car was done to explain what was performed. My vehicle was also finished in a very reasonable amount of time. I will definitely return for service related issues in the future.

I was doing an internet search for a new F150 and found a truck I was interested in at Victor ford in Wauconda Illinois. I live near St louis but I contacted dealer and was connected to Mark Lawson in sales. Mark went above and beyond to get me all the info on the truck, did a trade appraisal, and after making my decision to purchase the vehicle Mark and sales manager Chris offered to meet half way to do the delivery. Paperwork process on the phone and at delivery was flawless. Mark spent all the time with me that I needed to understand the options and working of the vehicle, and he was 3 hrs away from the dealership. I cant say enough about how pleased I was with the process and highly reccomend Mark and Victor ford to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle.

We felt right at home here! Mark was our car salesman and made the buying process painless and do I dare say it, almost fun! He truly cares about what you need and went the extra mile to be sure we understood all the technology in our new vehicle before we left the dealership! My wife Elizabeth and I have been dealing with Victor Ford since 1986. We have nothing but the highest praise for Victor’s Service Department. They have always treated us in a fair, honest and friendly fashion. Their work has always been done professionally and we have always been satisfied with their service. Our last experience is a perfect example of the quality of the Service Department’s work. I am a huge fan of the Excursion. We owned one that we purchased from Victor Ford in 2000. I drive that vehicle until 2009. The Excursion was last made by Ford in 2005. I recently was able to purchase 2003 Excursion with a 7.3 Diesel Engine. We did not buy this vehicle from Victor Ford. Before I decided to make this purchase l had several conversations with Matt Wandel and Corey Spitzer, the two service managers. They both assured me that if I got an Excursion that they could handle the service needs of the vehicle. I can truly say they were right. The Excursion we purchased had a “perfect storm” of issues that required some intricate repairs requiring that the engine be removed and then put back in place. After I had my Excursion towed in Matt explained to me exactly what happened, how rare that it was and what they would need to do to fix the problem. He also suggested several other parts that should be replaced. I was able to stop in while my Excursion was up on the lift and Corey showed me the parts that were broken and what would have to be done. Parts were ordered and when they arrived our Excursion was ready in two days. We were always kept in the loop and not a thing was done without a full explanation and our approval. I would also like to add that we purchased a warranty when we bought this 18 year old vehicle. Matt and Corey did all the calling and discussing with the warranty people to make sure we could get whatever benefits were available. This was a great help to us. When the repairs to our Excursion were complete we were very pleased with the service and the vehicle is running fine. Our gratitude and thanks to the entire Service Department of Victor Ford.

Wasnt planning on writing a review until after I bought my Bronco, but after visiting some other dealerships, man Im glad for this place (I can always edit, too). Im waiting for the new Full size Bronco to be built and theyve been nothing but helpful. Ive even changed the order on them, a couple times, which Im sure is a pain in the butt to re enter, but my sales guy Mark Ledinsky has been super helpful from the jump. One time we visited a couple years ago he opend up the Mustang garage for us so the boys could see them. I like their parts and service guys, too. Had nothing but good experiences so far. Keep it up guys!

Six inquiries on my credit report when the sales manager said there would only be one. Honesty can be hard to come by. Things like that make the car buying experience unpleasant. Credit score taking a hit to buy a car should not happen.

Hassle free experience, great staff, car was (used) in great condition - I have been a customer (or client) at many (many) Ford dealerships, but this may very well be the final one. We had a lot of laughs during the buying process and overall a great team at Victor Ford!

Had an unplanned service to be done in my truck and they promptly opened up a window in their service department and did a Greta job. Its costly, but it will always be in any manufacturer dealer. I would go back for the regular maintenance as needed.

The people are nice, they helped with our first truck. we went in wondering where we were qet to buy another...They coulnt tell us straight up, said they would call, they never called. we just got all the bank letters weeks later. I expected straight p talk to us, its not that hard!went in for service a few months later. We wanted the engine looked at. They ended up adding wiper blades, new battery new coils new transfer case, and spark plugs. They told my husband $1,000 and some change, then i called. They told me $1500.00. I am searching for parts at a reputable ford part store and the total without wiper blades and battery is $275.00.$1500.00 dollars for that little bit? I just dont understand,, that is out of this world with price! wow

Brought my car in for an oil change and to have a look at the drivers side mirror which has a damaged surface. Easy communication and fast service, thumbs up.However, I brought the car in because I bought the car from Victor in January and brought it back to you for service because I thought perhaps as a customer service issue the mirror, which was damaged when I bought the car, could be replaced under warranty. I was notified that the extended warranty did not cover this, which is no doubt 100% correct. I had hoped that since I just purchased the car for over $30k that an arrangement might be reached over $300. Since there is no customer service relationship at Victor Ill be taking my car to nearer places for regular maintenance.

Please go elsewhere. There are plenty of dealerships in the area to choose from. The lack of organization and level of arrogance which I was put though was quite off-putting. They will sell you a $50,000 vehicle and then make you jump through hoops in order to get a $100 part that is under warranty. I went down the street and they have a significantly more customer friendly protocol. I wouldnt go back even to use their bathrooms.

Specifically, Brian Hendershot, who was more than professional, courteous and very easy to work with. No hassling, no aggressive sales techniques and I was never made to feel like an inconvenience or unintelligent. They said they are a family business and made me feel like I was a part of it. I HIGHLY recommend Victor Ford to anyone and everyone. I purchased a 2016 Ford F150. Despite it being a used vehicle, the dealership cleaned it and made it seem brand new. Not to mention they only buy vehicles that are gently used and in top condition.

I bought a used 2016 F-250 at Victor. Sure Ford makes a great truck but buying a vehicle can be a pain. It was a lot less painful at Victor and I feel it was a very fair deal. Chevo was my salesman and he is a true pro. I am new to the heavy duty truck world and he talked to me on the phone and brought up some legal facts about license that I did not know. He also spent plenty of time with me and my wife as we looked over the truck. Took us to the service department and they gave us a maintenance schedule, even though I live far from Victor and wont go there for service (I would if they were close). We even took it for a test tow with our travel trailer.When we were about to leave, he noticed a marker light was out. His service department was closed and the solution was for me to take it to a Ford dealer near my home and Victor would pay for it! Saved me a 2 hour round trip.I cannot think of anything that I would change about my experience. Way to go Victor Motorsports!!

Great people to buy a vehicle from.

Very displeased with the dealer and Ford. My backup assist camera quit working one week after I purchased the vehicle, which was June 27, 2020 and as the date, September 26, 2020, it has not been replaced. Some kind of run around from Ford and the dealer. Others have this problem also. As of November 9, 2020, I still do not have a backup camera that works and have not received any communication from Ford regarding the replacement. Same run around, a manager will call. A manager calling does not solve the problem. Ford should furnish a rebate to all the customers that purchased vehicles and have the same problem.

I took delivery of a beautiful 17 Mustang GT/CS from Victor Ford last week. I absolutely love the car! Robert did a great job with follow up being available but not pushy. I live in Michigan, so it took a lot more coordination to test drive and do the paper work and pick up, but they handled it smoothly. Robert even picked us up at the airport so we could drive our new convertible home. Jason the sales manager was also great, very friendly, professional and to the point. Gave him my financial information at 1:15pm on a Friday and told him I would be back around 3:30 to see if the finance were through. I arrived at dealership around 3:25 to find out that my info was just now being given to the finance manager. Was told that it wouldnt be looked at until after 5pm. I called back at Saturday and was told that the banks close at noon and probably wouldnt be reviewed until Monday. Called back Monday mid morning and was told that Kyle was on vacation until the following week by the operator. Was transfer to the finance manager and was told that they would get back me late afternoon that day. As of Thursday, still no call from the dealershipEnded up buying another car form a different dealership.1- It would have been nice if Kyle would have told me that he was going on vacation and that XXX would be handling my case in his absence.2- It would have been nice if I would have received an update regarding my finance3- Treated me as a second class citizen -- would other men ahead of me. They need to realize that women buys cars too.I will never step foot on their lot again and will tell everyone that I come in contact with. Avoid them

Excellent, fast, and honest service. Great customer service, would highly recommend. Editing to reflect a more painful experience with having a radio unit replaced. The parts did not arrive as expected and I ended up having to leave my vehicle for 3 or 4 days. Victor Ford did pick up the tab for a rental though so Ill stick with 5 stars for great customer service.

Horrible experience with the service department. They had my car for a week, as it was taken there by a previous mechanic who thought the dealership would be best for this issue. Absolutely no communication from this dealership to either myself or the original mechanic. Whats more, they failed to diagnose what the problem was knowing what the error code was.They claimed they spent 3 hours on my vehicle, yet couldnt produce any evidence of what they did. They were aware of what the error code was and made no attempt to find if it may have been a wiring problem or whatnot, or the PCM. So you have my car for a week, spend 3 hours claiming to try to find the problem, never advising myself or the recommending mechanic of what youre doing. Just how many hours would you have wasted failing at your attempts before you would have called it quits? Thankfully the original mechanic contacted them to put a stop to this madness.Matt from the service department told me that I could gamble on finding a replacement PCM, but it may not solve the issue as it may be the wiring perhaps. I asked him if the problem with the error code comes up again, could I clear the code and be fine? His answer was, I dont know. So Im without my car for a week, out a good chunk of money, and still have no idea what is wrong with my car!For the record, I have called Lincoln and reported this dealership and will follow up with them next week. I was told by Lincoln today that they will escalate this matter. I will stay on this until I get a satisfactory response either from the dealership or Lincoln.

While it is a little off the beaten path for me, the trip is worthwhile as they do not treat the customer as a walking ATM machine like some other dealers (Golf Mill Ford for example). The staff is friendly and efficient, and the new car buying experience is pretty much painless. I do not hesitate to recommend this dealership.

Im from Mississippi and was driving to McHenry to pickup a cargo trailer. An ice/snow storm came and out went the salt trucks. Went to use my window washer and nothing came out. Stopped by a gas station to fill up the fluid only to notice that the reservoir was a solid block of ice. Knowing that I will need to wash my windows many times in the near future, I stopped by Victor Ford. Their service manager, Matt, took care of getting me back on the road. Everyone was very helpful.One thing I know about a dealership is that service will make or break you. My wife and I wont buy certain cars because the service department here is horrible. Theres not much difference in vehicle price from one dealership to another; however, there is a huge difference in service. I wouldnt hesitate in purchasing and servicing my vehicle from Victor Ford.
