Please save yourself the money, time, tears, and being berated by Tom in their customer service department. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE! Bought a stove from them a year ago. Had to have it serviced four different times. They are refusing to replace the unit ( even after they said they would after the third service call) because we did not purchase the extended warranty That we were not even offered or had no idea it was even an option. Horrible experience and an expensive one. As to the owners response. Our manufacture warranty expires 6/30. So after getting the stove repaired for the 5th time we will no longer be under warranty. But according to YOUR customer service it is no longer a Grand Appliance problem and dont call back.

Had a short time to purchase a Refrigerator and the Jerk who ignored me lost a customer. I was there 10 minutes before they opened but he is ABOVE working before OFFICIAL opening time. Oh well I am sure ABT will welcome my business. I worked with the same OLD SCHOOL guy before and he was unfriendly....seems to think he is SUPERIOR to us peasants.

I had a horrible experience with their customer service. One of the workers seemed very helpful/nice but was busy helping another customer. I asked a gentlemen that was sitting at the counter for help & he told me someone would help me & he just continued to engage in a personal conversation with another gentlemen which I thought was very unprofessional/rude of him. First & last time I visit this store.

I did some research looking across multiple stores from big box to local family owned. I knew I had it narrowed down to a couple units. I decided to stop into Gran Appliance since they showed in stock. I did not plan to purchase it but wanted to look. The sales associates were very helpful and reiterated almost everything I had come to learn from researching and reading reviews. They gave their personal opinions and showed many options just to make sure I would find the dishwasher that would be best for me.Their welcoming staff made me confident in my choice, gave me a great price and located the unit in the color I wanted (which most stores showed zero stock in the color I wanted). I felt no need to wait or purchase from anywhere else, I knew Grand Appliance was where I needed to purchase. I picked up my new Dishwasher Two days later and it’s been working great since. Grand Appliance on Grand Ave. in Waukegan had the lowest price on the gas range we needed. It was less than than Abt in Glenview and less than online. The salesman Bob Sikora was very nice, not pushy and made the purchase go very smoothly.

I have never used or heard about this store chain before, but my friend suggested to go there for my new dryer.I tried other stores online (ABT, GE, and others), but there was nothing I needed in the size that fits my laundry closet and/or at an acceptable price, and every store was out of stock for anything close to my possible choices.I even tried other Grand Appliance stores, but... I had no luck, then I called this Waukegan store and spoke with Robert Sikora who found the dryer that no other store had, esp. for more lower price than others.He found the machine that was in stock, gave me great price, and scheduled my delivery as soon as he could.He also promised to call me if an earlier delivery day opened up.Frankly, I was skeptical of him calling me, because I never met this person, and - guilty!.. - I assumed that the salesman would not remember his promise after he made a sale, but... he called me a couple of days later and told me that he got an opening 2 WEEKS EARLIER THAT INITIALLY SCHEDULED.They delivered the new machined on time, installed it quickly and skillfully, and hauled away my old machine for one very low price.NOW THE QUESTION FOR YOU: WHO WILL I GO TO FOR MY NEXT APPLIANCE? :-)The very best purchase at the very best place from THE VERY BEST SALESMAN (and a very friendly person).

I was greeted by Bob S., and he assisted me in my purchase of an LG refrigerator, he was very professional and very pleasant. He was honest and up front in regards to delivery date. I was so impressed that I bought the refrigerator and agreed to wait the two month period since it was on back order. My dryer went out. I went to Grand Appliance and there were plenty to choose from in all different price ranges, several made in the USA. The salesman was friendly, patient and very helpful. I didn’t feel pressured and I wasn’t shown anything more expensive or what I wasn’t interested in. I chose a washer/dryer set and was given an even better price. I was given a delivery day in 2 days and they’re going to take my old set away at no extra charge. In and out in less than 30 minutes.

Always get a good deal. Ive purchased 2 houses of appliances hee. 20 yrs fridge, 20 years plus for dryer and washer still good! Cant argue with that!

One of my worst experiences ever. Dont go near this place. Dishonest, inconsiderate, and they sell defective appliances. I purchased a re-conditioned washer on November 30, 2018. They delivered and hooked it up a week later. This washer never worked from day one. It leaked water from the bottom causing floors to get wet. Went to the store and was told to just pick out another one but that it would not be delivered until December 11. Asked to get it delivered sooner, nope. December 11, 2018 was the earliest they would deliver replacement unit. The second washer was finally delivered. Needless to say, it never worked from day one either. The machine filled up with water but didnt do anything else. Never washed the clothes. I went to the Store again on Wednesday. Was told they would try getting repairman out on Thursday evening. Later told it was too late for Thursday and Friday was already booked up. Told repairman would be out on Saturday. On Saturday, repairman called and stated that he wouldnt be coming until Monday. I questioned him about the Saturday scheduled appointment. The repairman stated he never told Grand Appliance or anyone else that he was coming on Saturday. I contacted Grand Appliance again. Told they dont have any control over when the repairman comes out, seriously! Repairman finally came on Monday. After inspecting washer, said the machine was no good and he couldnt fix it. Apparently, this store sells defective and junk machines but markets them as re-conditioned machines. Needless to day, I will NOT be shopping at Grand Appliance again.

Put a down payment on a washer and dryer well I go to pay off my balance and they sold my washer. Then the sales person didn’t care just said he don’t know what happened and told me to go pick another one out which is a very inconvenience because I put my money on what I like not just any time he was very rude and disrespectful04/30/19 I was scheduled for delivery today between 7:30 and 11:30 and the time is now 1:14 and still no delivery I called customer service and they saying they don’t show a time for delivery for I received a call and a text confirming the time soo unorganized and unprofessional DO NOT SHOP HERE They are very rude and poor customer service THEY ARE VERY RACIST5/01/2019 now they want to make everything convenient for them and want to come pick up their broke merchandise when they feel like it. This is a bigger issue than they think. I guess they don’t know who I am 🤦🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️😂

My new dishwasher is really quiet. The salesperson suggested I buy a Bosch. I diddnt really believe him when he said it would be noticeable, but i cant even hear when it is on. The delivery crew was professional and on time and my new appliances made hosting Thanksgiving a breeze. I am very happy with my purchase and I love the idea of buying local.
