WORST PLACE EVER! Customer service is horrible. Nobody is ever inside the office to help and very poor management/staff with attitudes. Had to rent a u-haul truck twice and get help from another manager from a different location. Save your money and time by going to another place.

May, 2021. MANAGER is the laziest, and most oblivious person that works with customers i have dealt with. If she has to get out of her rolling chair to do anything, shes been over worked. If you see a maroon Nissan Ultima parked outside, just keep driving across the street to Uhaul. All other employees are nice and pleasant, which apparently does not come from getting trained by Miss positive attitude. Hopefully you dont make the same mistake as we did. GOOD LUUCK !!

No complaints so far!! My credit card expired once, they charged me a late fee. I talked with the manager and she understood and was able to refund the fee. If they keep up the great service, Ill keep storing my stuff there!

Horrible. I was lied to cheated and over charged. Also, 8 days after no longer having a unit, my name appeared in the newspapers staying my storage unit and is belongs were being sold.

The snow plow goes down the middle and then you have 7 ft of piled up snow to try and get to your storage shed. Useless. Not to forget I have them my key this summer to fix falling drywall. After 1 full month they did nothing to fix it. I got my key back and that is how it is 6 months later. USELESS!!!!!!

I rented a unit at this facility for about a year between moves and my experience was very positive. In particular, Sondra was extremely helpful and it was always such a pleasure to see her! This past year had some extreme weather and my items in the unit were in perfect condition the whole time they were there. The rent cost was also very reasonable. I’d highly recommend!

I always have pleasant experiences with staff here, grounds are always kept clean, plowed, etc. My one piece of constructive criticism would be to have two places where you are able to pay your fees for your storage. Its a little bit of a hassle when you want to be in & out but someone in front of u is just signing up for a new storage so theyre going through the entire contract on the only computer which you can pay on.

I went in last week to make a payment and was greeted with a smile by Sondra very helpful and friendly service she help me with my late fee thanks 😊 again

They raise your rent every 6 months. Im pay over $70 for the smallest unit. I have told them about a broken door 3 times within the past year and they still havent fixed it. However, they have no problem raising the rent. Dont bother calling either you can never speak to anyone who has any say.

I was at this location for 5 years for business storage. It was excellent. The unit was convenient, big, dry, and rodent-free. They accept packages in the office, so I was able to have work-related deliveries made there without an issue. Quite a convenience! Lamar and Catherine are awesome! Unlike most people with storage units, I was there on a daily basis. Oftentimes, multiple stops a day. Lamar and Catherine were both accommodating to whatever I needed, helpful with information, and always friendly with a wave and a smile. Two of the best in any customer service capacity that Ive come across. I highly recommend this location for your storage needs.

The door is next to impossible to open on nice days then their snow removal service packed the door with over 3 feet of snow. Now the door is impossible to open and impossible to relock. So everything I have there is not safe. That $1 first month will cost you $80. The people working there just laugh about it. If you have anything worthwhile find a different place to go.

My boyfriends father, Joe Esposito, was an investor and friend of B. Wayne Hughes and we were still treated horribly by the company. We had lies told about us by the property manager, the district and regional managers chose to believe the property manager over their customer. Do not rent with Public Storage! Rent with Red Dot Storage where your treat like a person and not made to feel like an animal.

Pleasure to work with. I come back every time i need a storage unit. Great prices and great location :) Sondra has helped me through this fall and has been wonderful. Public Storage needs to work on answering their phone during business hours though.

Lamar was always great and Im sure everyone misses him as much as I do. I met Sondra later on and she was always great and helpful as well! I was there for a year and besides the rent raising 10$ during that time, I had absolutely no other issues. I will definitely use them again in the future.

Update: Alexander contacted me directly this morning and we talked about the situation further. He made a few more calls and was able to get an adjustment made for my next months rent. Still upset that it happened, but very pleased that Alexander was willing to help out by making more calls.We have had a 10x20 unit for over a year now because we are preparing to sell our house, that one filled up and we got a second unit. When setting this new unit up we said we wanted it set up just like the other unit with autopay and even signed the signature pad when setting it up. Today we get a late fee notice of $30 and I called to inquire why. They state that it was never set up for auto-pay and told me to contact our district manager Alexander about it. I explained the issue and he attempted to reverse the charge, but the system would not let him. I was told to contact the main number again and explain the issue. Once I connected, they were not willing to work with me on getting this resolved even after the district manager tried to reverse the fee. This fee was generated due to an issue on their staff when they failed to set up auto-pay as we requested and signed for. The person on the phone said they would not help us because we hadnt had that unit for a year. Worst customer service I have had outside of fast food! Its a shame for them, we sold our house and now need a 3rd unit until we find another house. We are going to go to the U-haul facility down the street. Even if its more expensive, it cant be any worse then the lack of service at this place.

I go in to pay the bill 30 mins before the p lace is scheduled to close and no one is there. This happens a lot when its the first of the month, and the next day you get a late fee. The reasoning I was told us staff has to do a walk of the grounds before leaving. If this is so, change the hours on the sign to prevent this and give their staff time to do the walk with out closing early. Other than that its a good place. Probably 4 stars

Workers are great! But it went up on me after 6 mo. When I thought it was supposed to be for a yr. Was also told there is no guarantee that it wont go up again! Keep raising rent and no one will rent from you! Lamar is great though! Good guy

The Public Storage in Waukesha on Arcadia is a very clean and well maintained property. The staff is always friendly, informative and willing to go that extra mile with the service they provide.

Lamar personally took us to see our new storage locker and explained everything. He made renting a unit easy for us. The site is very clean and the lanes between the buildings have ample room to turn your car around.

Scam Alert! There are multiple reasons why I would never use this location again, but I will start with what I consider a bait and switch tactic. They lure you in with a first-time discounted rate. However, do not expect this rate to hold longer than six months. Around the five month mark the rate was raised $20 per month. This is for a bug infested, leaking storage unit, and an online account that does not properly show the rental unit so online payment is not possible. Do not expect any help from the site manager. Their response to everything is that they cant do anything because all directives come from corporate. I would have gone somewhere else but I already had movers scheduled and did not have time to make other arrangements. I have put up with the concrete being torn up in front of my unit so I could not access it, to waiting almost an hour to have my account set up because the manager did not understand how to work the computer system. I will be moving out of both of my storage units to a nicer facility with the same rates.

He was fast, efficient, very helpful, and his approach to customer service was outstanding.
