The pharmacist called wanting personal information about my health and injury. Then claims to know more than my DOCTOR! Go anywhere else if you value your privacy.
If you have the time to waste waiting for your covid vaccination go here. My appointment was for 4pm didnt get done over an hour.
In and Out and had a great experience! And they were 10% of the total cost for my script to other local pharmacies! Couldnt be happier!
Bad costumer service. I mean really bad service.I dont understand why management do nothing with 1.8 costumer review rates this waxahach Texas Walmart pharmacy.
If anything they may deserve one star!!! I have had so many bad experiences with this pharmacy, but have never written a bad review until now. Once again today my prescription was not ready because they entered wrong insurance info, but it has been so many other things... Wal-Mart really needs to get it together, please hire professional people who know what their doing!!!
Trust them completely with my prescription needs. Always answer any questions I may have regarding my prescriptions. I also feel safe when doctor prescribes new medicine because pharmacy checks to make sure it is safe to take with other meds I am taking at the time.
Ive been getting prescriptions filled here for about a year and there are probably only two times in that year that everything went as it should have and without some sort of drama or failure. Some of the common problems...- Long wait times and it takes longer than other pharmacies to get a refill (generally at least 2 days when you call ahead).- They frequently dont meet their own stated time frames for when a prescription will be ready.- If your prescription needs a refill approved by your doctor, their system is not smart enough to recognize that the approval has come in and its now time to refill the prescription. Instead, the customer needs to call back after they think the doctor may have approved the refill...and request the refill again in order for it to actually get filled. Otherwise, when you show up to pick it up, they wont even see an order for you. Youll have to go stand in a second line to request the refill and the fastest theyll be able to do so in the same day is about 45 minutes. Theyll say 45 minutes, but it will really be at least an hour.- Refills ordered over the phone system somehow just disappear into nothingness and never get filled. You get to go to a second line and request it and then wait for an hour in the store for it to get filled. Why even call ahead?- They are inconsistent with filling prescriptions for 90 days rather than 30 days. The prescriptions I have are for 90 day refills and my insurance allows this. There are several times Ive received 90 day refills, but most often, they give me a 30 day refill which means I need to deal with their inefficiencies more frequently. This has even happened after speaking to a person who confirmed that they would do a 90-day refill. When I picked it up, it was just a 30-day.- The pharmacist is too aggressive with selling flu shots...to the point of possibly violating the Deceptive Trade and Practices Act of Texas. I have a right to decline a flu shot and should not be treated like Im an idiot when I do so. When he then laughs at my polite decline and loudly says So you want to get sick? Hes implying that getting the flu shot will prevent me from getting sick. There is no medical guarantee of this. He is also potentially violating my privacy. Finally, this week, they made me so mad that Ive transferred my prescriptions elsewhere, will never return to them, and came here to write this review. My doctor wrote a prescription in November 2018 that had enough refills to last through November 2019. However, when they filled my prescription at the end of December, the label said No Refills. So, when I called to get a refill this month, they said that they would need to get the doctors approval. Fine. I know from experience that this means I need to call back the next day to request the refill again because they dont have anything that prompts them to actually process the refill once they get doctors approval. For several days, I kept calling back and I kept getting the same response...you are out of refills. Thinking that my doctor was just ignoring them, I messaged her staff and asked that they approve the refill request. They responded that the original prescription was for a year and that no refills should be needed. They called the pharmacy and the pharmacy said something to the effect of Oh...we havent said that we need approval for refills...weve been telling her that her insurance isnt ready to approve the refill. Thats BS.So, I sent a picture of the last prescription bottle clearly stating No refills and told my doctors office that the pharmacy is making false statements to them. The next day, I called the pharmacy to order the refill that they told my doctor I would be able to order that day. Again, they told me that I had no refills and they would need to get approval from my doctor! At this point, Ive had enough and instructed my doctor to transfer my prescriptions to another pharmacy.Good luck if you decide to use this pharmacy. If I could give it less stars and still leave a review, I would.
Multiple times I have called in a prescription, only to find out a day or two later that they couldnt fill it. Instead of contacting me, they wait until I drive there to find out there is an issue and I need to fix it and come back again (out of stock for example). I will be going to a different pharmacy in the future, to one that notifies their customers of an issue at the time of discovery instead of ignoring it.
Okay so I just called up there to get a price on a medication and the little girl who answered the phone was very rude! I knew she could hear me but she pretend that she couldnt hear me and said hello hello? Right in the middle of my sentence! I knew she could hear me! They need to hire people who are more professional than that little girl! She is a little girl! She is not an adult!
If I could leave a 0 star review I would. Such rude staff. Not to mention they tried telling me my doctor ordered me name brand medication (expensive) all to find out he never did, my doctor told me they lied to me. Dont waste your time and money here!
If i could leave less then 1 star i would. This is the shadiest pharmacy i have ever had to deal with. They are always put of stock and they will lie to you and tell you your doctor called and told them you have to only buy the more expensive brand meds to try and scam you out of money. My pescriprion is usually only 40 bucks they tried to tell me i had to pay $1000 .... Its sad that getting these meds could be a life or death situation but all they care about is money.
Called 2 see if my prescriptions was ready I was told one was ready one would be ready tomorrow. my went to pick up the one that was suppose to ready and was told neither one would be ready until tomorrow. this is every time .wal mart pharmacy needs a over haul.
THE most inept, poorly run, inneffient place. The staff is, I’m sure, we’ll meaning, but they are entirely unhelpful. If big pharmaceuticals and Walmart weren’t problematic in and of themselves, this would still be a nightmare of a business. Wish I could give it fewer stars.
The mgr must be the worst I’ve ever seen! After multiple complaints about never having the meds ready-hours & sometimes days after the time it is said to be ready, absolutely no improvement! They also have messed up on the count of pills. Mgr got upset with me bc I can’t understand his awful accent. Very rude and unprofessional, would never recommend this pharmacy to anyone unless you are wanting to see how wrong they can get your rx
Can I do a half star? They order medication & say itll be in... But it takes all day and Ive called 3 times and finally its ready! One pharmacist (like the main one) he is the rudest!
Waited almost 2 hours to get 1 of my 2 prescriptions, then told to call tomorrow to see if the other is ready. Not the first time its happened either.
I turned in my prescription today around 3:45pm. After the tech took all my information (including my phone#), she informed me that my prescription would be ready in 1hr. At 6:15, while attempting to pickdup my prescription, i was told that they did not have that medication in in stock and would bot have it till Friday. So please, tell me this; why did i not receive a phone call informing me of this?!?! Round trip 30 miles only to be treated rudely by your tech and walking out without my meds!!! Very Unprofessional, Inconsiderate, and Rude!!!!
Im very upset I even have to give ONE star in order to write this review. I called as a provider to fill a prescription for a patient- got clicked on after being sent to their voicemail. Called from my cellphone and a rude tech answered which then transferred me to a rude pharmacist.
Worst experience. Never returning.
The people who work in pharmacy are the slowest people. They do not care. Orders are never ready when they say they will be. If there is a problem with your prescription they wait til you come in to inform you instead of calling. Terrible service every time
Consistently having issues getting any prescriptions on time and told to wait for hours for my scripts to be ready, thats only if they have the medicine in stock.
I’ve been on hold for 25 minutes and counting..
Long wait times
