All dressing rooms closed 30 minutes before store closing. Turns out it didnt matter because the clothes were ugly. And they dont carry my size,

Glad to see the fitting rooms were open at this location. The only problem was that there were only 2 cashiers open and there was a long line. Other than that good experience. Nice and clean store.

Stacey is Awesome Salon Manager! She has excellent customer service and I always has a positive attitude. I am enjoying working for JC Penney because of my Awesome Salon Manager.

The great think about JCP is the variety of quality clothes. But, closed dressing rooms means you cant try on anything there. Stand in line forever to check out then go back days later to return what didnt fit right.

Let me start by saying I was there with a friend of mine and she was looking at a watch I found a pair of sunglasses that was supposed to be on sale and she helped my friend with her reward points and because my friend paid for my glasses on her reward card she got some extra rewards and I still got my glasses for a really good price and theyre really nice sunglasses so we were good the young lady that helped us was above and beyond helpful if you had a lot of cloned Associates likes her you have a million-dollar company

They were not very helpful acted like the did not know what they were doing like they just did not care its a job my parents have shopped at Pennys. For years also I have shopped also f ok r the last 60 years never was treated like this before

Jcp got this new brand called “stylus”, it pretty nice.I got me the navy blue shorts and jacket that the manikin had on. Probably the only thing I’d personally get from there but yeah modern and nice clothes

Store was clean and well stocked. We did not find what we wanted in our size.

I know I can always come here and find a good deal. I got my husband two pairs of Arizona brand jeans for $25 a piece. Thats a steal. The plus size options are great and the childrens section is awesome. I love me some JCPenney.

I had to buy a suit for a wedding. Paula helped me pick out a tie, match up shirts, a belt, she was awesome Paula also told how to save by opening an account, and showed me where the discounted items were. I was able to buy more and spent a couple hours there. The store was very clean and neat, I will be back again. Keep up the good work, Jcpenney.

Not a great selection on anything, really picked over merchandise. Lack of sales help on floor. I used to love JC Penny, now its just a mess. One highlight, the young cute hispanic looking girl who checked us out was awesome!!!

This store has a great staff and amazing GM. My item was not placed in the bag on accident. The ladies I spoke to were very apologetic and sweet. The Gm stepped in and went above and beyond to make it right. His staffs customer service and his actions are a reflection of great leadership! Keep up the good work! Thanks Again!!

Great clothes for big and tall guys like myself! Love the selection of clothes, although sometimes have a hard time finding exactly the size I need. Only thing keeping this from a 5 star review is checkout is ALWAYS A PAIN. They never seem to have enough employees checking out customers, there’s always a long line.

They have lot of clearance on sale. Sales person are polite and nice.

Everything is really overpriced, this complaint applies to all Jcpenney stores though. At least this one is well lit and clean, but the clothing itself is more expensive than reasonable for the quality.

Summer clearance is AWESOME! Bought summer clothes for upcoming beach vacay for under $60!! 5 sets of outfits!!

I came here in need to find a perfect suit to wear and I was clueless. The supervisor by the name of Megan helped me. I told her exactly what I wanted and she pointed me to the right direction. She was extremely patient along with the other associates there. I loved the customer service. That day they made my life easy.

Bought a great bedroom set, but the best part is the salon. They let me use their breakroom to feed my baby! I didnt have ti go outside or feed him on a toilet.

Selection here is pretty decent, went in to get some curtains and a purse for the house and my significant other. The staff was very courteous and kind making sure that we had everything we needed. We did have to return to have the purse refunded as my girlfriend did not like it, however the staff was very accepting and made the process easy and stress-free.

Everyone is helpful for the most part and the store always has a good selection of clothes and housewares (though overpriced unless you catch a sale or coupon), but the checkout area is so cluttered and has broken displays and lighting. If I didnt know the store wasnt really old, then Id believe it was bc of the outdated check out area. The line is also always super-long bc of very few checkers. I do love that we have a local Penneys though and will continue to shop there.

Jewelry department rep named Kathie was rude and dismissive. Never shopping at store 2949 again.

Friendly and helpful workers, and very clean store

They seem to be having a better line of clothes. They have more jeans for women but I dont like skinny leg jeans.

They have a good selection of bed and bath items and with a coupon, you can usually get a good deal. They do have a large womens clothing section, but if you are petite, youre out of luck. I rarely find any item in a size 0 or 2 or XS-Small and no pants in a short length. The kids clothing section is good as well and with a coupon and a sale, you can find a good deal. But again, I found lots of husky boy pants and no slim pants or jeans. The baby section is over priced...unless its on clearance, just drive to Carters with a coupon. My husband has found some nice dress clothes in the mens section and he doesnt mind shopping here since its not crowded, so thats a plus.

This place does not deserve any star or recognition due to very very poor service and does not take the customer seriously when an order is messed up. Customer Service needs more improvement. The delivery process is messed up and not organize, instead of arriving to my house it went to my neighbor. not stop there, the employee not setting up my payment right and i try to call she hang up on me. I asked manager but they refuse to assisting me.

A little empty in spots, could have used a person to answer questions in a few departments. Ill be back.

Its okay. The store is always clean. But seems to always be short staffed. Lines are always long, only have the registers in front open. Never anyone in the shoe section to assist. No one ever in the lingerie section to assist, and its always in array. Nothing is organized, seems they get new merchandise in, but no one ever puts it up. I only keep shopping here cause I get good deals with my reward points, and alot of times they have good online deals.

Need more than one central cashier mid afternoon or management needs to be aware and increase coverage as needed.Item purchased rang up for less than the posted sale price. : )

Stood in line for 15 min to pick up online order with only 2 cashiers helping and was wondering why there were 3 associates greeting people at the door instead of helping??? 2 more associates from other dpts came to help, but they couldnt get computers working. 🤦

This JCPenny was in the worst shape I have ever seen in any store. There were clothes on the floor and in piles on tables, not folded or in any order. My experience definitely was not what I expected from a store like JCPenney. One star for the nice cashier named Bernetta. Very pleasant cashier.

I visited this store because I need to purchase items from Sephora. Staff at Sephora were helpful. The store was clean

Went to the salon to get my hair done by Kennedy! She did absolutely amazing and it was only 70 for an all over color and cut! She was helpful and super amazing! Definitely ask for her if you go!😊

Love the clothes....good quality but not too expensive. Service at checkout was terrible. 2 cashier and 8-10 people in line. Store fairly clean.

Cashiers could use some more training. They could use a little more customer service training.

At least Waxahachie has a Sephora! But this JCP has a small selection compared to Dallas/CedarHill/Arlington and the sales never ring up same at the register here. Tip is to Take a picture or walk the staff member to the sale sign to get advertised prices.

JC Pennys is still the best place to shop.Good well stocked shelves. Courteous employees and the discounts right now before Black Friday is awesome.

This the only place in Waxahachie, that i found, that has a true selection for big and TALL people. The security staff is nice and helpful. They always have sales and a large selection of clothing, housewares and ect.

Great clothing and shoes, line always looks very daunting but the capable staff usually checks people out quickly. Sometimes the displays are messy, but checking out isnt a nightmare and staff is helpful.

Havent been to JCPennys in years. Waxahachie TX store was very sharp and clean. Clothing sections, particularly for men looked upto date in fashion. Check out was a bit slow. We had become lucky and went to check out on the jewelry section. This super nice lady not only helped us, she gave us a savings voucher of 50 percent off. Awesome experience.

I would of gave them no stars if I could ... I called on a Saturday to see if they had dress shirts in a certain color... I tried for 2 hours calling 1 person in that 2 hours picked up the phone and then hung it up right away ... I guess they dont have anyone there educated enough to answer a phone...

Found the best pair of Sketchers there. Never had a pair before and probably will have more after this its like walking on air.

TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE service. I went in to purchase a dress and went up to purchase it. Waited in line a solid 20 minutes with 3 people in front of me only to get up to the front and for them to tell me they can only except cash, but they will hold it for me till the end of the next day if i write my name and phone number. I came in the next day in the afternoon asked for my item. The lady said that they must have put everything up and her response word for word was guess youll have to find it I was heated in the face. She then preceded to go about what she was doing without offering help. I found the dress in a larger size because apparently the other size had been sold. I asked for a manager and they called up a manager numerous times waited for 25 minutes and preceded to walk out. I called for a manager and explained the situation and his reponce was Im sorry is there anything else i can do for you I asked him to locate the dress in the right size and he pointed me to ceder hill. Drove All the way to ceder hill only for the dress to apparently have been recalled I will NEVER shop here again. I do not recommend this store to anybody and I would warn everyone against it unless TERRIBLE service is your thing.

Got a deal on a shampoo and color and cut feel like a new me. I had the best stylist in Hannah Berry thank you so much.

Was helped by Lindsey and Alexandria, Lindsey gathered the slacks I called in for and Alexandria escorted me to the right desk and even struck a friendly conversation. Awesome friendly encounter and they were friendly to the eye if I may say so.

They have up scale clothing. It not junkie and the clothes are organized. Sometimes you might have to wait in line. But they work as a team to get you out.
