Sheika does a fabulous blow out! I have been to so many places and no one seems to get it right. She knows what she is doing and my hair turns out gorgeous. I’m always satisfied and I definitely would recommend her to anyone. I love the salon and been going for over a year now!

Jennifer Pina is the girl to go to! Most honest and caring person in the salon! Dont listen to any of the negative reviews, you have to personally go and try out the experience. I LOVE this salon, the prices are good for the quality of work you receive.

I can’t say enough about this place. It’s hip, it’s clean and the staff are great! They are so accommodating and the you can’t beat the hours-I was lucky enough to have the owner do my hair, but I was definitely there long enough to watch the other Stylists and they all know what they are doing! Jenny started off my getting all the orange out of my hair that got gotten there from the sun and then got it to the nice, rich, chocolate color that I wanted and then gave me beautiful, long extensions. Her suggestions for what color extension to add was right on point. I’ve been getting compliments left and right! They’re affordable, they take walk-ins, and they’re open Everyday!! While most salons are closed Sunday and Monday’s, this place is always open. I’m so grateful to my friend For recommending this priceless gem! Thanks Hair and Make-up Lounge!

I’ve been coming here for 2 years and it’s amazing!My daughter loves how gentle they are with her hair and refuses to do it elsewhere. I rather not do my hair if I can’t get an appointment that’s how much I’ve grown to love this place but I only do my hair with Jen or Primo!!!

This place is amazing! The entire staff is incredibly nice and knowledgeable. I felt like I was able to ask many questions as to what things were and what they did, and they took the time to answer them all. I came in with a mess on my head and they took me in with less than 2 hours to closing time. Primo fixed the worst color job of my life and let me leave happy and relieved. I would highly recommend to anyone!

I made an appointment to get my makeup done here prior to a newborn family photoshoot. I arrived a few minutes early, but the store opened 5 minutes late. After waiting another 15 minutes, the woman who opened the store (Candy) informed me that she couldn’t get in touch with the make up artist who was now 15 mins late, a no show. The woman recommended I head to the Chanel counter of Bloomingdales and told me to tell them that Candy sent me and that anyone there would do a great job. She made it seem like she had spoken to someone there, and yet when I arrived the girl behind the counter told me she could do makeup. Luckily I found a great girl named Karen at the MAC store who did a great job. I was angry at how unprofessionally this was handled when I had scheduled this appointment well in advance and that the woman who was scheduled to do my make up never showed. I also requested a phone call from the owner and left my number with Candy, and I’m still waiting for my call two days later. I am truest shocked that this place is still on business. Avoid this place at all costs!

Hair and makeup lounge is absolutely the place to go to get glammed up! The head stylist and owner Jen is the best of the best ! She definitely knows what she is doing. I have been going to her for more than ten years now. She will make you look from a wet dog to a superstar lol . This place gives great customer service and is a must go to if you want to get your hair done or makeup done ! Definitely recommend it 100 percent !

Terrible customer service. Called on the phone and they guy/girl thing was rude right off the bat. Then said they dont have any availability if I got there at 6 and they close at 7. Heard he/she say to a stylist hey do you wanna leave after this haircut ...... so from what I gather they dont want to have a customer in order to let someone go 45 mins early?!? Its only 45 mins left on your shift... pfff says enough about the place that I will never go

I was referred here by a friend, and i love this place. It was a good experience.

Really bad. I came there to let them cut me bangs, and when I came in they were so unfriendly and bored and this one woman had to cut me my bangs and she only took like 5 minutes... So she wasn’t gentle to my hair and she cut it really bad, she didn’t get all the hair and I was just sooo unhappy with it.
