This was our first time at the Alps diner for brunch and it was fantastic all around!! The service was very tentative and friendly to making sure we had coffee filled at all times, our food came out in a flash, and asking if they could get us anything else. My Fiancé order the south of the border omelet and I ordered the southwestern burrito BOTH MUST HAVES! The portions are huge and the food is delicious!! We will be returning soon! Give them a try-you will love it!!!
This place was not to bad. The waitress I had was super sweet and very attentative to my table. The wait for the food was a little long but well worth it. I like the old fashioned theme they are going for inside too.
Great place, staff was fast and friendly. I had Greek burger which was delicious. Salad was fresh and dressing that came with it just bursting with flavor. Will be back while still in the area.

Not the first time Ive been to this diner but this last visit for a to go order was not that good ...ordered pouched eggs that were over cooked with cornbeef hash ..small portion ..but a whole lot of potatoes and burnt toast I mean black burnt...no jelly.. didnt matter anyway...$11.25 plus $2 tip for what I dont know dumb I guess...my past experience are mixed ...I like consistency ...no more visits from me sorry alps diner..
ABSOLUTEY GREAT FOOD FOR SUCH A GOOD PRICE, Just moved locally in the area and passed by this spot over and over. Finally took the shot for a Saturday Night dinner with family and BOY THIS WAS NO DISSAPOINTMENT!!! Prompt seating and service was good!! The food is definitely cooked with care, and I regret not getting a Crazy Shake from here as i seen someone enjoy one the next table down.. Only slight drawback is that i didnt see an Alcohol Menu or of they even did that service.... Regardless its not a passerby if you are hungry!!! i HIGHLY recommend this place!!!
Let me begin by saying that Julie our waitress was Amazing, incredibly helpful and sweet, my Wife dumped her entire orange juice all over her food and Julie brought her a new meal right away without a problem.Our food was delicious, home fries and French toasts my favorite, Diner is very nice and clean, service was excellent from everyone, very friendly.Well be back soon.

I have to be honest. The waitress was great...accomodating and personable. However, disappointed with the food. Order stuffed flounder (with crabmeat) and the fish was completely overcooked and tough. It was drenched in sauce or oil where it made me nauseous. I returned it and they gave me a free dessert which I appreciated. I ordered chocolate cake. The cake was not fresh and slightly stale. Not sure if I will be returning.
Credit card machine not working. Have some cash in your pocket just in case the machine will not work again. Otherwise food and customer service very good.
Our family loves this diner...the kids give it two thumbs up! We are thrilled that they offered chopped salads, vegan options, loads of healthy options. Fast service, awesome portion sizes. We will be repeat customers for sure.

My sons chocolate milk was chunky, my omelet was raw inside, and there were mosquitoes all over. Our waitress was nice.
I love this diner. It was my 1st time there but it definitely wont be my last! The new owners are super nice and friendly the food was great! Its super clean and they keep a great social distance between seating.
Today was the first time visiting Alps diner since the pandemic. I had sliders for lunch and my husband had a chicken Panini. Both were very good. My husband who only eats Paninis raved about this one. He had a side salad instead of fries and I had some. Everything was very fresh. Only after eating there did I find out it was under new ownership. I think they’re going to do well and we will be back.

Super premium food at Kind prices!Rarely do you find owners that have both the ability to run a great restaurant AND the passion to maintain excellence. This is what sets these owners apart and these are definitely not fake Greeks. Portions were satisfying, food quality was wonderful and presentation was delightful. We live at the other end of the state, but have friends in the area. We all cant wait to return.P.S. Not to be missed is the baklava made with honey. It has a taste unlike any other that I have had and is yet another delight under the roof of the Alps!

I love the fact that the owners are new and of course the dinner waitress super nice. Food is fresh and the burgers are juicy!! I was told they change use to local butchers and produce which is awesome. Huge plus for the freshness and size portions.

The name has changed again (back to what it was when I was a kid), but the food is consistently good. Have stopped a few times in the last month or two after jobs in the area and Im always a bit surprised at how good each meal is.
Staff was very friendly and I would return but it wouldnt be my first choice. Food was just okay but it was a meal...Outside could use some TLC but I understand times are tough.

Super groovy diner with excellent food and great customer service! My husband and I ordered takeout from Alps in May 2020, and it was just what we needed - a break from cooking & delicious! I HIGHLY recommend the turkey club and well done mozzarella sticks. Also, you shouldnt leave without a black and white milkshake. They are so good!We called ahead and placed our order over the phone for pick up. When we arrived, we waited the parking lot until receiving the call that our order was ready, so we could pick up without crowding the restaurant. Steve is the sweetest guy and gave us an extra milkshake for the road. Cant wait to go back.

My wife and I recently ordered takeout from the Alps Diner, and it was great! From the black and white milkshake (a must-order) to the Turkey Club, and everything in between, our food was delicious. The owner was incredibly personable and brought out our order quickly--with a few extra fries thrown in for good measure.The classic larger-than-life diner menu means we can continue to eat here over and over again before weve exhausted all our options. We cant wait to try everything.During these unprecedented times, its important to support your local businesses, and we cant think of a better place to spend your money than Alps Diner.

Great experience at the Alps Diner . New management team made the difference. Professional and friendly staff, clean atmosphere, huge food potions . Fresh coffee and fresh meals, dessert is excellent and soup is top notch . The kids had a great meal as well and the waiter is very attentive and comes to check often with more and more refills . This is the place to go in Wayne .

Fun design inside and out. Staff are super friendly. Our wait staff was attentive and made some good suggestions. The kids chocolate pancakes were excellent; fluffy and with golden faces. Fresh ingredients for the rest of our meals. Would definitely stop again for a nice meal.

Of, this diner is perfect to have a good and filling breakfast. The quality of the food is pretty good and the waitress there is incredibly kind and welcoming. I recommend the omelettes, the pancakes, the waffles, and the homestyle potatoes, they are just delicious. The atmosphere is also quite comfortable and the tables are cozy and private. Its the perfect place to have a good meal and conversation.
This place is truly a gem. friendly staff and home style food. Owners Steve and Patricia make you feel at home. Wonderful experience.! I highly recommend this for anytime of the day.

EXCELLENT SERVICE AND FOOD !We can to Jersey for pumpkins picking, passed this diner and decided to stop and grab food. Our waitress was phenomenal; the ambience was warm and family like. The food absolutely seclusion’s. Definitely will come back to visit.- (One more thing!)
Slow food preparation. Food was ready 15 minutes later than was promised. The diner does not prepare food deliveries until the person arrives.

Best diner in the area. Clean. Food is very fresh and not greasy at all. The breakfast specials are a great deal. Healthy options as well and privately owned unlike those garbage chain places that make you sick after eating. The owners were very nice and the service was very cordial and efficient. The Alps Diner is my favorite place to eat. From breakfast to dinner the food is always great! When we met Steve the owner for the first time he was so friendly that any time we came back we were treated as friends. Highly recommend dining here.
The staff is very attentive. The portions are very large. The prices are low to fair. The owners are very friendly. The place has a laid back mellow atmosphere. For my family of 5, we spent less than I would normally spend taking the little lady out and ate better to boot. I would definitely recommend this establishment.
Steve and Pat are the owners and hosts. They are the hardest working people in the diner business. Its my families only diner. I was there tonight with my wife and 2 sons. We were pleasantly received and well fed. They put a lot of effort into what they do, I find that refreshing!

Had the bacon, turkey, avocado wrap. It was delicious! They packed so much in there and it arrived in no time. My grandmother had the egg whites combo, she told me they were the freshest egg whites she’s ever had in a restaurant.
