Nice store prices high,but good service

As soon as approached the area to have a key made, everyone disappeared. I spoke with a young man stripping the floors. He made the key with no issues. Once in ny car, I realized I did not have the original key!! Glad I noticed before I drove away since I do not live close by.

Great place to pick up your Blue Seal chicken feed. Limited selection of other chicken treats and accessories, but you will find feeders and waterers, treats and some first aid supplies. Nice clean store, the aisles are well marked. Also gardening and hardware supplies.

On April 17, 2020 I ventured in just before lunch and I was greeted by the bouncer or what should have been a pleasant employee who not only still has his/her job but able to purvey a welcoming smile to the SHOPPERS COMING INTO AN OPEN RETAIL STORE. But it quickly went south as she.... before welcoming me... barked out can I help you?I wanted to look for face masks or bandanas. She quickly said they had none to offer me and I said I would like to look around! And then... with a brief pause was told I needed to be assisted through the storeBasically she was saying shed retrieve what it was I wanted for me which would have been great except... I really didnt know what kind of alternative they might have!So... before I lost my control I proceeded to exit thru the out door and was offered to walk past others coming in. I told her I could find my own way out..Never have I been treated like I was not wanted

First, let me address Mr. Zane Thomass review. Yes, I went in the store during the pandemic and yes, it was heavy handed. So I totally understand your reaction. I was left somewhat confused when I walked in and almost walked out myself. Anyway, moving on... have purchased many items at this store. These folks are always (with the exception above) helpful and there are plenty of associates in the store to assist. My best experience was about a month ago. I went in to purchase a new STIHL trimmer. There is a lady there, do not remember her name, but she is well versed in STIHL products. I got what I needed, they would not let me leave until the trimmer started and guess what? It would not start. They did a quick diagnostic, fixed the issue and off I went. Been working like a STIHL ever since. I feel confident that this store is my go to for my hardware needs. I highly recommend this location.

Love this store.......just called about sink stoppers. Probably only place in the county that carries them. I wanted a door chain with a key lock....only store that knew what I was talking about.. LOVE THIS STORE.

This is the best hardware store I have been to in my life! Its beautiful, well-stocked, the service is perfect, and its really an awesome place to shop. They had exactly what I needed (and then some!!) and they were able to tell me exactly where it was. The shop is very clean and well-organized. I will invent an excuse to go there at the drop of a hat.

I worked with Debbie in the Power Tools section (Waynesboro ACE). She kindly and patiently assisted me with my (pre-ordered) purchase, that had been thoroughly screwed up with non-arrival on time, there was assurance from corporate that you would be notified upon arrival at selected store (through email/store contact). The arrival date came and went. I waited and called ACE after no contacts were received. The next day I recieved an email, that stated my order ($ deducted/paid in full) had been cancelled due to non-availability of product in the warehouse (and monies refunded). I had initially placed my order on the 24th of Nov, and given an arrival date of the 27th. Then waiting uninformed, only to be informed that my order had been cancelled on the 2nd of Dec. This was very poor performance by ACE with failed expectations, only mitigated by Shanisha at ACE Corporate and Debbie at the Waynesboro ACE Store, who helped with their words of kindness and real empathy. Thank you Shanisha (Customer Service) and Debbie at the Waynesboro ACE store.

Outstanding Hardware Store. This hardware store has been In Waynesboro for decades. It is easier for me to reach from Fishersville. An equally awesome hardware store, Youngs Hardware, exists in Staunton. It just is less easy for me to reach.Both are affiliated with Ace. Ok. So. The Waynesboro store is very organized. It reminds me of the ancient store my father went to in my childhood in Wilmington, DE. The Waynesboro store has everything. I have been stymied only once in 20 years of home owning. Most important, and their best quality is service.The people who work their always, immediately take me to what I seek. Personally. Almost by the hand! Today I bought two cotter pins (82 cents), one wide 5/8 washer (55 cents), and a three pack of lithium grease for my small grease gun. It took maybe four minutes total, as the guy led me from item to item one after the other.NO big store can do what a real hardware store can do. And such small stores deserve, and need, our purchasing power. Not the retail monster that crushes small businesses. Use this store, and like me, 30 years from now it will still be there. A real hardware store.Oh! I forgot. They sell fresh popcorn to munch if youd like a snack.
