This use to be my favorite Wal-Mart around. It had everything and at an affordable cost, but as time has passed it seems like they just dont have as many items as the use to. I cant count how many times Ive went to buy a movie or video game just to have to go somewhere else because they are either out of stock or they never got it in. I would love for them to add more items and for the departments to be more organized. I would definitely give a better rating if so, but if in the future they start to add more I will change my review

This is a huge Walmart. Prepare for lots of walking to get from side of the store to the other. For such a large store, they were often low or out of needed items. Lots of stock in the aisles but apparently they are short staffed to stock the shelves properly. Prices were typically Walmart’s lower prices and that is why I shop here. Note: The pharmacy has odd hours, 6am to 7 or 8am. There is a subway at this store!

This store is beyond a disaster! Hardly ever any product on the shelfs. I have talked to customer service, managers and even the regional manager about no stock (even before covid) and it still has not changed. Hardly ever any wet dog food, electronics or staff to open locked glass doors, home goods and produce. Half the staff are friendly the other half dont want to be there and it shows. I was in there Nov 3, 2021 with a list of 40 items and only walked out with 5 because those were the only ones in stock. Called today to see if an order was in because I got a notification... no one picked up the phone. I use to live in my motorhome and have made several cross country trips and by fair this is the worst Walmart I have been to, worse the the one in El Paso, TX.

Went in for one thing. Of course I always see something I want or need. Love to shop here! What happened to the Pokemon cards?????? Hats one thing my kids always want!!!! Other than that, great prices and great a selection on everything ❣️

Absolutely the worst Walmart I have ever visited! I have shopped Walmarts across the country and this is consistently the worst! It is a mess. Boxes line the walkways and stock is constantly empty. Always looks like a storm has just rolled through the store.

Couldnt find any Christmas boxes, pillows, anything nice for christmas.

It was a nice place to shop found what I was looking for with help of staff I was In a hurry so thank Jesus they were knowledgeable about their products and placement…. However they could be a little neater about it but I’m sure shoppers laying stuff down just anywhere doesn’t help so I gave a 3-4 star

Walmart is every familys go to spot! It just gives everybody a comfortable feeling to be at Walmart plus everybody knows everybody in a small town so another family reunion all at the same time.

The Pharmacy Staff are Fantastic. They helped this out-of-state, old timer, get his prescription filled in a prompt manner. Thanks Girls. The grocery side, on the other hand, was not well stocked. But, Im sure that there is a reason for that.

The two employees in electronics have absolutely no understanding of customer service. And such disrespect towards customers. A good reason to start shopping local and stop giving business to large corporations

There is good and honesty in this world, and I owe so much thanks to an employee who worked in the Stock department on 9/2/2021. My mind was in 10 different places. Life is a bit crazy. And I left my purse in my carriage after loading groceries into my car. I didnt realize it until over 2 hours later upon arriving home. I called and the purse had been turned in. I raced back to Walmart where Customer Service told me it had been found and turned in by someone in their Stock department. I wanted to meet, thank, and tip this person who had made all the difference in my life but was told it is against store policy. I hope he/she sees this and can know my gratitude or Walmart can see this and look up who was working and know the value and integrity of this staff person. Not one dollar was missing out of all the cash. Not one credit card or medication was missing. And I didnt have to run out and replace my license. I just bought a house yesterday and am so busy and have spent every dime I have. This was not a good time for me to be absent-minded. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤

I like the huge selection this Walmart supercenter had . The store is really big its well-lit seems to be cleaned every time I go in it. The only thing is its a little bit more expensive than my hometown Walmart but at the same time My hometown Walmart does not have the same huge variety that the Walmart in Waynesville.

These 2 ladys do a great job recommended for men to get a cut. They dont style womens hair but they do cut & trim. They did mine & they did great!👍

We have to drive approximately 16 miles (32 miles round trip) which we gladly do. No other stores compare to their pricing and selections. One of my pet peeves is during check-out the conveyor belt gets dirty as items at re placed on it. I purchased a pink sweater and as it was moved on the conveyor belt toward the cashier it was stained and unfortunately ruined. The stain was due to something wet on the conveyor. We love Walmart but it needs a few minor tweaks.

Just used their Curbside Pickup for the first time, and it was great! Quick, easy, and courteous personnel as well. Couldnt ask for a better experience.

Not as well laid out as most Walmarts. Its also not a super center. Found what I needed.

The Wal Mart Super Center in Waynesville NC #23 on Barber Orchard Drive is Amazing. First off the Food at the Delhi is delicious. They also have a Giant Salad Bar and a Olive Bar and a Soup Station with 4 types of soup available. The Meat/Fish Market has a wide variety of beautifully packaged meats a fresh fish such as Wild Caught Salmon and Sunburst Trout Farm Rainbow Trout Filets.I could go on and on. This is a Great place to get your Grocery list completed and oh did I mention they have a Starbucks Coffee shop inside! 😀

Same as most all super Walmarts... Grocery, bakery, pharmacy. I rarely have an issue of them being out of an item Im intending to purchase. Sometimes there arent enough registers open and the lines are long, but Im usually happy with my experience when I leave.

Good store, clean, cashiers are good to the customers, things are pretty easy to find.

Today I encountered an amazing young man with excellent customer service in the electronics department. His name was Kyle. Impressive he helped me with everything and was so kind to every person he came in contact with while I was there. Kyle should be recognized for his exceptional customer service what an asset you have in him Walmart.

We have been going through this Walmarts bakery for years for birthdays and other special occasions and their normally on point with everything ...used to it was practically half chocolate and half vanilla when I ordered marble cakes but my daughters past 2 cakes mite as well have been vanilla barely even had a small streak of chocolate on one end of the cake is there a shortage or something on chocolate cake mix??? Super disappointed

They are out of stock of something I need every time. Typical Walmart. I shop here because of the prices, but its a rare occasion I always get everything I came in for. I usually end up shopping here and somewhere else to get everything I need. Definitely the cheapest in town, though.

Like most people living near any Walmart, I shop there frequently and also get my prescriptions filled at its efficient pharmacy! Overall, I usually find what I need, pay alittle less than anywhere else and I can always count on help from the sweet friendly folks working there! I appreciate all of the dedicated people who make sure the stores clean, stocked and pleasing to their customers! I pray for those amazing people who always greet me with a smile and a kind word...THEY are the biggest reason for Walmarts success! Thank you, please stay safe and God be with us all, Amen!

Service at every Walmart I have been to lately just seems to be lacking. Employees don’t greet customers when they are in the same isle shopping for online customers. The self checkout is never cleaned or wiped down.

Improved their fresh fruit and some fresh vegetables section but their celery product is horrible. They do a good job in most all other areas and staff are quite cheerful and usually knowledgeable.

Easy parking for disabled, near front doors. Employee who helped me with buying a smart phone for nephew was very professional and helped me get the accessories with warranty for the phone. Was easy to complete transaction with card reader and register right there.

Just made a special trip to pick up a prescription from your Pharmacy and they were closed - A sign says they now closed at 7 p.m. until further notice. Isnt there some way you could have sent automated calls to your Pharmacy customers letting us know so they wouldnt be inconvenienced?

Shopping online for curbside pickup has been easy & convenient. Ive been able to pick up the following day from placing the order at no additional charge. I also see (but not yet tried) offering your order to be ready in 2 hours for a fee, will definitely keep this in mind. Had issue with produce that wasnt up to par & they quickly refunded my money. Have found new items we really enjoy from Walmarts suggested substitutions.

They have a lot of good stuff in their own brand -Great Value- including toilet paper, paper towels, table napkins, zinc oxide sunscreen at the most reasonable price, Pond pellets for fish which I cant get anywhere else, reasonably priced Ben & Jerrys ice cream, exceptional chocolate chip muffins, wine that beats everyone elses prices, and I cant think of the other things at this moment.

Exchanged a tent bought at another Wal-Mart. Good clean service!

I live halfway between this store and the Asheville stores and use this grocery pickup regularly. They are efficient and organized here. They are better stocked too.

I and my husband moved to the area from Florida a week ago. We went in to buy some necessities on April 28 2021. The store was out of bath mats and towels. There were very few to choose from. My husband was in need of casual tennis-type shoes and was highly disappointed. I hope they get more items in stock.

This Walmart is always nice to go to. They tend to be well stocked the majority of the time and the employees are friendly and helpful. And they also usually have more than two registers open at a time for checkout (unlike other area Walmart stores), as well as the self checkout area.I will always recommend the Waynesville Walmart!

There are no electric carts. When I ask the cart person if there were any he told me to go look for myself. Very poor customer service.

This is loss prevention at this fine establishment. He mistakenly accused my husband of stealing, and had the cops waiting outside. Upon confronting him, and finding absolutely nothing that had not been paid for on my husband, and making at the time 4 year old son cry to the point that a manager had to be called, informed of the situation and the manager on duty that day had some sense of decency. Since loss prevention could not own up to the fact that he wrongly accused someone of stealing, he thought it was a wiser choice to occupy the police officers time, which I am positive would have been far more useful doing their actual job, rather than sitting in a parking lot waiting around for nothing, as well as scare our son, watch him cry, and detain someone whos apparent crime that day was wearing a rain coat. As previously stated the manager in duty that day could clearly see that the situation was not only and injustice, it was an injustice caused by someone who was put in a position meant to protect the assets of the Walmart corporation. After months of being followed around the store everytime my husband goes shopping, and then pays for the items that he leaves the store with, my extremely patient husband had enough when we went there today, to purchase a $400 power wheel toy for our sons birthday. Now Im not entirely sure what this person, whom I refuse to refer to as a man, was thinking, possibly that the three of us were planning on dismantling a 50lb toy and carrying it out of the store in pieces, or possibly we were going to simply pick the entire cannon up and waltz out of the store and hope no one noticed. My husband looked at me and said, okay Ive had enough, thats him, right over there once again watching my every move. Im going to take a picture of him, this has to stop. No more than 30 seconds later I see him being escorted out of the store, he apologized and said he had to leave. Loss prevention called the cops and said my husband was trespassing. The manager in duty today, Donna, literally said that the cops had been called so there was nothing she could do. They banned my husband from the store for life. Bravo Walmart, you made a little boy not only cry, as well as not get his birthday present as this was unfortunately the only walmart within a hundred miles radius that still had one in stock, you also made a 5 year old boy say I thought the police were supposed to help you, not be mean at my daddy I neber call them if I in trouble, they bad men, are they taking daddy away? I dont need any presents, as he was crying, on his birthday. Please share this post as many times as possible, because we need our son to not be afraid of the police, who simply responded to a call and trusted that the person who made the call was not persecuting someone for not stealing. Please do not read into this post as a complaint or any grievance with the brevard police department, l feel in this day and age it is necessary to be crystal clear on that. They did their job, this person who called them is supposed to be a person who is trustworthy and honest and would not waste their time by having them essentially punish someone who humiliated him. we will never return to this or any other Walmart ever again. Its worth noting that both loss prevention/harasser of innocent people, and Donna, the manager without a heart, reassured me that I was more than welcome to go back and purchase the aforementioned present, both were notably annoyed by the fact that I said that I was staying with my husband and at one point threatened to ban me as well, for choosing to not callously abandon my husband and give money to an establishment that feels there is nothing wrong with treating individuals in such a manner. the one point in this ongoing mistreatment that hopefully will give you a slight chuckle, is that it is not solely my husband who has been treated unfairly. During the first encounter a gentleman yelled over to my husband and said dont feel too bad, he followed me for an hour and Im a preacher!

I started getting my prescriptions at the wall mart pharmacy. The staff is very helpful and sweet. Except one younger girl that runs the register sometimes who is a little rude and unfriendly. Everyone else has been super helpful and kind.

Really like the grocery pick up. Usually buy only staples here, but the prices are good and the pick up option is wonderful!

I go early to avoid crowds that may include folks with COVID-19 who are not staying home. They are very conscious of protocols to keep their customers safe, and I greatly appreciate that! The employees are always friendly and willing to help when I need it.

Ive ordered pick up from here and I really like the service and the really quick pick up time. This is the way to shop Walmart. No crowds and super convenient. Love it.

People there are ok except none of them respect personal space. Even before the CDC lifted some mask restrictions youd see both employees and shoppers without masks getting within less than two feet of your face. Maybe I just have a new perspective on how far away people should stay since the pandemic, but I definitely dont want to feel the self checkouts breath on me pandemic or not.

Found the things I needed quickly along with 3 children under the age of 9 shopping with me.

I was checking out in the garden center today, on 3/20/2021 I was done checking out and waiting on my sister to get through checking out, and this older lady that works there came up to me and said “little girl I’m going to need you to move” with an attitude and I processed to tell her that she could ask nicely she then threw a rake, and a fertilizer pusher at me. She was very rude and it was definitely uncalled for.

This walmart is better than the one close in South Durham. Well stocked and organized. I always visit this walmart when in town.

This is a pretty good sized Supercenter. The help is always courteous. Its located next it big shoe store, Michaels, and a Best Buy. There is also a Game Stop and a Sallys within walking distance. The only problem I have is noticing some people removing their masks after they enter the store.

Walmart is a store of many things and they cant help that some disrespectful and i dont care about nothing people enter there store depends on what I need is the reason I go cause they have everything you would need only reason I didnt give 5 is there never is enough cash registers open

One of the better Walmarts to visit. Well taken care of. Unfortunately Walmart still has a lot of improvement in the help section getting qualified associates for various departments i.e. Electronics, management.

We just had to make a quick grocery trip, and it was about as easy as you could ask for. I just wish that masks were enforced more strictly, though I understand that its hard to be strict in a store like that.
