Careless for Covid test!I made an appointment online and did all the specific things to make a appointment for covid test. I was there right at my appointment time and parked in the space to wait for covid test. The worker was late on my appointment and when she came finally after waiting she looked at me and didnt say a word then went into her covid testing station. I waited a good 15 more minutes being patient when Im feeling so sick but the worker never came out to at least communicate anything.I worked in health care and I believe no matter the job or position you should always give it your all. Especially in these times of covid. I spoke to the manager and he didnt seem to have anycare over the matter. I wouldnt make any tests here. Very careless and will waste your time when your sick.
Dont waste your time! Four phone calls to see if the prescription was ready. Finally discovered they cant spell and file! Then I get there and they have filled it with the wrong drug! No wonder their rating is ridiculously low.
Received automated call informing me a prescription was not covered by my insurance. Went through the automated system and requested to speak with a pharmacist. Held on phone for 20 minutes without anyone answering. I hung up.
This 1 star is for a rude female, wish I knew her name, who works at the window.. VERY rude... However, there is a young man who helped me earlier today who is always very nice and respectable. Some of the ladies who work here need to take a customer service lesson from him.
Phone calls: youre gonna be on hold for a while! No call back, and super annoying hold music.
Cayman to CVS for covid shots. Because they said they serve walkins we did not schedule an appointment. Pharmacyeah. Pharmacist at desk was rude insensitive insensitive and no help whatsoever its whatsoever. I would get a new pharmacist
Automated phone answering system is poor. Would like to speak with a real person.
Covid vaccine misinformation - do not trust this pharmacy! After many months of me negotiating and pleading with my husband to get vaccinated, I finally convinced him to get the J&J vaccine, which he felt more comfortable with than the mRNA vaccines. When he went to the store today to get the vaccine, he was WRONGLY told by a pharmacy tech that the J&J vaccine had been discontinued because it was paralyzing people. When I called and demanded to speak with a pharmacist, we were then told that this particular store had stopped giving j&j because they are overstocked with Moderna. It is no wonder that people have vaccine hesitancy with these types of shenanigans going on. While it is true that there have been about 100 cases of Guillain-Barre Syndrome - this is out of more than 13 million doses given. When we asked the pharmacist why my husband was told that people were being paralyzed, she responded with, “well that’s true you can look it up on google”. I very much recommend getting pharmacy services elsewhere.
Ive been here multiple times and everytime the pharmacy staff are rude and incompetent. The push the blame to corporate when it was a simple and fixable mistake. My aunt who is no longer with us, needed meds for cough to make her more comfortable; didnt get them till the next because it was time for tge staff member to go home and she didnt want to do any extra work.We will no longer be filling any prescriptions here anymore. I would advise people looking for a new pharmacy to go elsewhere because they will cause more of a headache than anything.
I came in to get my TB test read which would take no more than 5 minutes. My appointment was at 4:40 and I got there at 4:30 and the provider said they were running 30 minutes behind schedule. I waited almost an hour before I was seen just to get a TB test read. A bit ridiculous if you ask me.
Staff is very helpful. When you shop, use your rewards card and get the best deals. The associate will help you find the good ones. 🤗
I have had very good experiences with the pharmacy team. When they first opened a few years ago they were grossly understaffed. That has changed & the atmosphere is much better. More than one tech has gone the extra mile to help with discount codes to save on medicine. Holly just did that for me today! THANK YOU!!
The pharmacy staff are wonderful & have saved my family money on multiple occasions.
Walgreens saved the day. Abscessed tooth on a Saturday at 5 pm began. Just relocated and dentist called in the RX. They would not fill the RX because they couldnt find my dentist office on file....5:49.....tired of dealing with incompetent pharmacist and tech. They kept misspelling name of doctor and the practice. I gave up. I called Walgreens at 5:55. They had the RX transferred and filled at 6:02...2 minutes AFTER closing. CVS wouldnt fill the antibiotic, which was Amoxicillin....and wasted my time because tech said she would not stay past 6. Neither would the pharmacist. But Walgreens went above and beyond. Go to Walgreens.
No one answers the phone. Pharmacists cant answer questions about minute clinic, nor can they transfer the phone, nor are they willing to be helpful at all. Aside from that, the store is great I go all the time.
Terrible. Slow. Rude. That sums it up. Don’t go unless you absolutely have to. So glad Mark’s Pharmacy is in waynesville now! Kim’s is also a good place to go. But, forget this place. It’s almost like they are “too big” to be “home town”.
Horrible experience. We spent and entire Saturday at the Urgent Care Center with my very sick daughter. The Urgent Care called in an anti-biotic to the CVS on Russ Avenue and we arrived at 5:30pm - 30 minutes before closing time- but the pharmacy WOULD NOT fill the prescription because it was too close to closing time and forced us to drive 45 minutes to the 24-hour CVS in Asheville! This CVS is not customer focused at all. Try the Rite Aid across the street - they have been great.
Both drive thru pharm techs are utterly awful. One always has a chip on her shoulder and the male is as if he is still processing yesterday. I have better luck at the VA with waiting times compared to this location. Disgusting and the staff should be retrained for the roles assigned.
Asked for a price match on contact solution and was told by cashier that CVS doesnt allow price matching. Havent had a problem at other CVS locations.
The pharmacy staff is extremely helpful.
Pharmacist was quite aloof and didnt seem to want to answer any additional questions I had about using a discount card. I was so uncomfortable after asking one question I decided to just pay and get out of there.Ill be filling my prescriptions elsewhere from now on.Also, I browsed the shelves for any items I needed and was shocked at how overpriced everything was... example: generic benadryl was 3-4x more than what I find it for at Walmart or Ingles. The sunscreens and face creams were also overpriced compared to my usual store.Overall, very disappointed with my experience here.
The male person that works in the front is absolutely in the wrong profession.
Smart acting employee will be moving to Walgreens asap
I took my daughter there for obvious strep throat. She took an instant test and came up positive. The doctor asked if we would be ok to submit a test to a second company for additional testing. I said no, and then months down the road I have quest diagnostics sending me bills for the testing that we refused. This place is a scam.
Good folks, work seamlessly with insurance, decent supply of snacks and over the counter vitamins.
Sick of this Pharmacy,, They close at 6pm now on Saturday for some goofy reason,, I called Saturday morning to fill 2 required prescriptions I put in in the needed pick up time as 6pm,, figuring I would pick them up around 7pm.... SO tonight at 6:30 pm I find out they now CLOSE at 6pm on Saturday!!!! It would have been great had someone called and said they would have my prescriptions filled and told me I had to pick them up before THEY CLOSED AT 6PM!!!!! nope no call from them even with an all day notice they received up front.Calling my doctor Monday morning and switching Pharmacys,, sick of the incompetence of this Waynesville CVS
Associates are always very helpful and friendly!
Awesome pharmacy staff!! Always so nice and helpful!!
Needed a prescription for some meds for a procedure. I tried to get it filled two days in advance. The first day they say they are out of stock of the meds and I should come back the next day. I come back and they are still out of stock. They said they tried to call me, which was a lie. (Despite me having updated my phone number THREE times with the idiot I spoke to the day before.) I had to go to another pharmacy and wait for over an hour. These people are rediculous.
A friend asked for a certain generic klonopin which is within everyones legal rights to do so, and the supervisor Jim Prekup if that was even his real name because she and I believe he lied about his name. Anyway he VERY coldly told her You Get What We Give You! So she told him to send her prescriptions back to her former pharmacy immediately no threats or profanity was said.. This man called her Drs office rght afterwards without a written/ singed consent to correspond with her Drs office and told them she was banned from CVS..Banned for what? switching back to her former pharmacy? Who wouldnt after being treated so badly over the phone! She had never stepped foot in this CVS in Waynesville, N.C or any other CVS since she lived in Westbrook, Maine 1998! This is clearly a violation of her civil rights! Also because of his agressive actions, malicious even, her Drs office has shunned her, because of this man. This is also a case of punitive damages.CVS corporate has been notified and legal actions are being taken. This is very unethical behavior. To all other CVS clients I strongly advise you find another pharmacy!
Very good, work well with our insurance and easy refills.
Quick.friendly
Have come along way, customer service is wonderful! Love everyone in this pharmacy!
I wouldnt even give this store 1 star. My one year old takes a prescription formula, that no one else in the county will fill except this CVS. Everytime we go try to pick up my childs milk, no one knows how to work WIC except for one woman. They constantly hassle me, saying that WIC doesnt accept it and I go through the same process every month with proving to them that they do. Its ridiculous what I have to go through just to get my baby some food!!
They seem polite at the counter but I cannot get an answer on the phone and the automated system is ABYSMAL!!!
The worst pharmacy I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with. They have, time and again, proven they are completely untrustworthy. If you dare try to resolve a problem, it seems their trained response is to1. Deny any mistake on their part2. Act like the customer doesn’t know what they are talking about3. Get condescending and rude4. Make you call back to talk to someone else to fix the problem, or jump through hoops calling doctors’ officesIneptitude, negligence, deplorable customer service. Moving all my family’s prescriptions and business elsewhere.
The staff in the front of the store ignores you, especially the so called manager. The pharmacy staff has gone down the hill, always changing the staff. There more worried about checking there cell phones.
I found them very knowledgable & efficient. They had to get a medication faxed from out of state, did so that same day and texted me as soon as it was ready!
The people here are terribly rude and self-righteous. Ill never waste my money or time in there or any CVS again because of the unprofessional way they handle themselves.
Dont call these people they never answer the phone
This pharmacy is rediculious! We were told the prescription would be ready in 30 minutes but here we sit 1hour and 45 minutes later. The man at the window let us sit for 10 minutes without acknowledging us then told us twice to go to the back of the line. We were then tild it will be five minutes, then 15 minutes and after all of that we were given the excuse that they didnt realize it was going to blow up like this. I just find thw excuses appalling for lack if competency.
Great service and staff
Decent pharmacy, just overpriced.
Asked to have my RX transferred to a different pharmacy, because they RAN OUT of a seizure med, and they lost the RX! I had to call my Dr. who would not write a new one. Never go here! If I could give 0 stars, I would!
Utterly useless. If you have a prescription on automatic refill they will probably tell you they are out of stock a week after the fill date. Same goes for the chandler location.
Thinking about changing pharmacies constantly out of stock on my meds and supplies and very slow.
The older lady Cashier in store so rude has no respect
Prices are a little high and it is really hard to access the parking lot when traffic is heavy.
Extremely slow. Unfortunately I have to use them because of my insurance. They are also very rude. Borderline incompetence!
They r really rude and dont care about there customers
Dropped off prescription and was told by a human That they would be ready at 9:00 am. No they were not.. This is them as usual
Staff is very rude, use right aid
