I had a great experience here. Thought I needed a battery replacement on my phone. Isa showed me that I just needed to make a few adjustments, instead of replacing an expensive battery. Didn’t charge me a dime. I will be returning here for any problems I ever have. Fantastic place.

Not going to go into it. Do not do business here. I brought a laptop here was lied to,charged for installing an upgraded drive. Was told twice they called me,which they never did. Showed up at the store and luckily I have computer knowledge. I had brought a desktop in previously and was told the motherboard was bad,at this point I doubt that was the case. If you need a screen protector for your phone or a phone case your probably ok but do not bring in any type of device for repair. Someone at the store needed me to expound, so I did.

These folks were awesome! I called 3 other shops in the area and Tech Authority had the best price. They had my screen fixed and ready in 45 minutes, and they have a 90 day warranty. Friendly staff too!

Never post reviews on Google or anything for that matter but I just wanted to say: DO NOT GO HERE. I had a Lenovo that was misaligned and they told me that the cost of the repair would be more than the value of the laptop.. I took it to another repair shop (Edge Phone Repair) in Friendswood and they repaired it for me for $100... these people at Tech Authority are clowns with their business being the joke.. I cant believe scammers are able to operate a business LOL

Quick and great results.I purchased a Samsung Note 9 from someone to find out it had some issues being activated along with the wrong service provider for myself. However, I called Tech Authority and they were able to look the device up over the phone and confirm that they were able to fix the issues. I setup my workstation as they asked via messenger and they were not only able to remote into my phone from my home, but they fixed both issues and I was able to use my new phone immediately.They saved close to $1000 and would recommend their services.

BEWARE BEWARE BEWAREI would have given them 0 stars if I could have. This place is awful. Took my phone screen (cracked) to get fixed. $149 later it was fixed cool! the guy who I assume was the owner told me it was under warranty as long as it wasn’t cracked...Fast forward to Two weeks later my entire screen turns black I can hear on it but you cannot see the screen at all. I take my phone in that had previously been fixed two weeks ago and he took it to fix it again since it was under warranty gave me a quote of two hours. Two hours goes by I go back he is not there the girl that was there had no idea the phone was needing to be fixed then proceeds to call said owner and the owner said it was not under warranty because I had dropped it… He assumed that I had dropped it because there was a scratch on the outside of my phone where he had previously fixed it from the drop before… I fought with them for four hours to get a new screen that was #Warranty because it was the LCD screen underneath and not the actual screen itself.During those 4 hours this owner refused to take the girls calls who called several times avoiding her bc he knew I wasn’t leaving without a new screen. FINALLY another guy who shows up at the store looking for him asks if he was there the girl said no so HE called and the guy answered right away the other guy said he was at the store. Now girl calls back again and now I guess he felt obligated to answer.The only option he gave me was to let him send my phone off for 2 weeks to whereever and I told him no I need it now.Fast forward for another hour fight with them I told her “he told me the screen was under warranty as long as it had not been cracked” she said word for word “ya, sometimes he just says what he doesn’t mean” HOW IS THIS RIGHT?!?Eventually she felt bad enough for me they replaced the screen BUT another month goes by with this new screen and this LCD under is also shorting out.... took it to a new place in the mall which was actually only $100 and she opened up my phone the screws were missing along with the film the screen comes with that was never removed underneath causing my screen to break!BEWARE of this place

My buddy referred me to this place to fix my Pixel 4a that had a software issue and broken screen. I walked in when it opened at 10am and spoke with the owner about my issue with the phone. While he wasnt aware of the new 4a model, he called around for parts and got his tech to take a look at my phone. He told me he would need 30 minutes to troubleshoot and give me a cost estimate. After 10 minutes, he walked out of his store and to my car with my phone with the software issue fixed and NO CHARGE. Cant beat that kind of service and price. I will be back when I have any other phone issues. Big thanks to the shop owner.

There was not alot of things but the showroom floor was AWESOME I came in to pick up an item i had purchased from Wish and to my surprise they had a little jeep and a big jeep a ferrari and motorcycle all for kids. They are remote control while the kids are seated they bluetooth for the sound system it was awesome and as I was?with my Daughter And Son in law. They came inside and WOW. My grandbabies are gonna have a nice surprise from Santa..lol so even if you cant picture completely what Im saying just go in there the staff is AWESOME and it is a very clean place .

Great experience...I usually don’t write good reviews because I don’t want to recommend a place and then someone go there and not have a good experience......With that said this is the second time I have been here and both times Hannah knocked it out of the park with bases loaded, Grand-Slam, so I am comfortable recommending anyone with a phone problem to take there phone here and you wont have any regrets. The whole experience was exceptional from the moment I walked in the door with a broke iPhone and a frown on my face until I walked out the door with a fixed iPhone with a smile from ear to ear. Place was very neat, organized, and most important appeared and smelled to be clean and sanitized. Both times Hannah assisted me and both times after assessing the damaged phone and prior to making the repairs she went over the repair options with me as well as an estimated cost. Both times the estimate was spot on as well as the price was lower than other places I called after the fact just to confirm the price was as reasonably low as I thought they were. I will tell on myself, prior to coming here I had a coworker that said he could fix/replace my cracked scream and digitizer and I got the phone back from him the screen was no longer cracked but the phone would get stuck at the apple screen when turning it on. I had a friend recommended Tech Authority so I figured I would give them a try and not only were they able to get my phone back up and running, Hannah also caught and fixed my coworkers my mistake of gluing the home button down which over time would have broken it and rendered this iPhone unsalvageable. Bottom line is if you want your phone fixed, fixed right, in a timely manner, at a fair price, with no surprises, in a clean environment, and deal with friendly respectful service techs, then look no further Tech Authority is the place you need to be. Rocky did a great job selling me an iPhone XR at a good price. He was nice and provided excellent customer service. The only thing I will say is that I was sold an iPhone that was giving me problems initially and didn’t check it throughly. Make sure to check if your phone is compatible before buying anything! I had my macbook repaired (new hard drive and battery). I was told my old battery was not holding a charge well and they would order a new one. After receiving the laptop back I check the cycle count of the battery and it had almost 700 cycles already. New batteries have less than 100. They either didnt even replace it or put a used battery. This was very dissappointing. The SSD they put in the laptop was less than $30. Seems I got taken advantage of because my bill was $180.oh well,live and learn. Never again.

I called a few shops to get my s9+ carrier unlock, and many were quoting at $90 & $100 with a ETA of 1 or 2 days. I called tech authority and they quoted me at $40 and that it would be done in 10 minutes. I went there got that taken care of in 10 minutes! I was shocked! Great service and great fair prices. I will be coming here again for sure!

Purchased an iPhone from Tech Authority in Feb, 2018 and it worked fine until Aug, 2018 and then got blacklisted. Turns out the initial owner filed an insurance claim, didnt return the phone to AT&T, and it ended up at this store. Ended up paying $100 for another phone and screen protector at Tech Authority. Was not our fault then phone ended up blacklisted. $100 was cheaper than getting another phone from Amazon but still feel we should have got a free replacement. Be careful!!

Horrible place to get your screen replaced at. I have an iPhone 7, and they messed up the first repair and then the second! They wanted me to leave my phone overnight for a 3rd repair after waiting 1 1/2 hours. I had them give me a refund & put my cracked screen back on and on my way back home they call me and tell me they forgot to put my camera on! I had to wait AGAIN making it 2 hours with no fixed screen and they permanently damaged my home button & it no longer works. I asked to speak to a manager on the phone and they never called back. Manager left new employee in training by himself at the store & to fix my phone. Worse customer service ever and train your employees better! La Porte China Wok fixes for cheaper and is more professional and efficient.

My wife had a phone fixed at another shop close by and every-time I look at her screen with my polarized glasses outside I have to turn my head sideways or take them off to see the screen. I asked Rocky if his glass led repair would do that and we tested them out and they are just like the Apple screens you can see your screen with your sun glasses. Rocky was professional, courteous, and quick. I wish I had found this place years ago. I would have saved so much.

My screen was constantly balking and getting locked on my iphone 6+. Figured I needed to get new phone, but stopped by shop to get opinion. Rocky diagnosed the problem without looking at the phone and replaced the screen ($50)while I waited (about 15 minutes). He also put in a new battery for the same $29 price that Apple is offering with a 6 week backlog. Its a very clean shop with tremendous service. They also sell used phones in good shape so I may consider that at some point.

This is a great service I bought a phone from someone on the internet and it worked for a day then he reported it lost and I was gonna be out $600 but thanks to this company they saved the phone and I am able to reactivate it with my carrier. It was even easy to have done they do it for you just follow their instructions and everything will be fine.

First off let me start by saying that I am the most SKEPTICAL person in the world, and I fully EXPECTED I was going to be SCAMMED by this IMEI Service that IMEI / Tech Authority provides. HOWEVER that IS NOT what happened. To my complete and utter SHOCK and SURPRISE they actually did what they said they were going to do. Thanks to them my BLACKLISTED GALAXY FOLD is no longer BLACKLISTED. It took them about 24 hours to get it done, which again I was so skeptical about. BUT, they did it! They actually did it. Lost the use of my phone and discovered it was due to being blacklisted all of a sudden. Had bought the phone last year with no problems off Craigslist. Same happened to my wifes phone some six weeks ago under similar circumstances. Called IMEI Authority for his input. Id read horror stories about other places and called this place as a last resort. Either it works or it doesnt and Im out the money... It turned out to be well worth the risk as my phone works flawlessly and I upgraded the Android OS to the latest since then. Followed up with the same procedure on my wifes phone and ditto for the results! This phone was not cooperative at first but the tech was determined.
