It was my first time going to this Ulta and I was very satisfied. I was able to find what I needed and even more. It is a very clean store with unlimited options. Very easy layout to find exactly what youre looking for. It was the biggest Ulta I have been to, but I was very satisfied. Great, polite staff that are always helpful surround the store. I would definitely recommend going and will be returning.

Had a job interview today, did research about Ulta so I could be prepared for any questions asked. I felt like i was being ignored the whole interview and wasn’t taking seriously. I missed my last interview (2 days ago) because I had symptoms of covid and I called in to reschedule. So I could get tested. I feel that is why I didn’t get the job. I could barely even get a word in because there was multiple people getting interviewed at the same time. I really wanted to be an employee at ulta it has been one of my dream jobs since I was 16. When I finally got the chance to have an interview I couldn’t even express how much this job would mean to me. I’m a very hard worker and loyal, and works well with others. They hired the other girl ( who already has a job). I would of done anything for this job. Yet. “I’m not the match” she asked the other girl 6 questions and asked me 3. She didn’t even give me a fair chance. I got my nails done, bought an all black outfit because I knew that was the dress code, and even got my hair re done. Just to look the best I could. I studied the store policy’s and even did research on beauty products they sell there so I could be the best employee I could be. Other than that the store is beautiful and has everything a girl/boy could want. The employees were friendly and I will definitely shop there again. Just heartbroken. Ulta just lost the most reliable, trustworthy, and dedicated worker they could wish for. Best of luck to the store. Had my hair cut in their salon. My hair dresser is Rocky. She is fabulous! They have all the safety prodigal in place.
I went in for a pick up a few weeks ago and wasn’t greeted. When I got my purchased items all I was told was, “check to make sure your things are in there.” And she walked away. I stood there for a while because I wasn’t sure if she was done with the transaction but she didn’t return. I would always shop at Ulta because it felt like a place for everyone but now things are starting to feel different. Rude employees.

Not sure why there are bad reviews for this location but every time I come to this location I always get great customer service and I get just every thing I need at this location. All the employees are nice but sometimes it’s busy in the store and sometimes I have to wait to have an employee help me but when I get help for an item I am looking for the employees always help me and they end up giving me an additional free product or two just for the wait time and I love that they do that for me. 👍
My experience here was absolutely amazing! I was on IG one day and seen B. Simone promoting the @Curls product and loved her results! Baby I jumped shipped and headed straight to the nearest Ulta! I have been looking for a product that I can use on both of my little girls curls! My daughters are 4 and 6 with two different curl patterns so you know how that can go! The @Curls product is a one stop shop! I purchased the shampoo, conditioner, and defining curl gel we love it! I no longer have to use several different products on one child versus the other! Hunny, when I say the shampoo and conditioner does what it suppose to do it does just that!!! Yesss cleans and moisturizes without over drying the hair. Quick Tip 1:Be sure to wash your hair with luke warm water to open that hair cuticle and give the hair what it needs. Tip 2: Be sure to rinse the conditioner with cool water to close the cuticle and retain the moisture you just put in!I definitely recommend if you are trying to get those curls in order to gone make that purchase sis!!! You will not be disappointed!
I went here a quite while ago for a simple haircut and conditioning. Cecilia, the woman who cut my hair constantly made rude comments about it the entire time. “It’s SO damaged!” “It feels like steel wool” constantly. My hair wasn’t in great shape, and I was going through some pretty traumatic hair loss on top of it. Needless to say, I was really sensitive about my hair and hearing comments like this for the entire time I was in my chair made me feel terrible. She told me I needed to come back every month for conditioning and a trim. In the end, I still ended up going to another salon to get more trimmed because I let her have discretion over how much I needed cut to make it look healthy (while preserving length if possible) and she didn’t cut enough. When I got a proper cut at a and conditioning somewhere else my hair looked great and totally brand new. And I didn’t have to feel awful the whole time either.
The kindest, sweetest person helped me out today. I had lots of questions and she had lots of answers! Walked me through different parts of the store to help me find exactly what I needed. I didn’t get her name but she had awesome brows and a super fun, textured shirt. Thanks again!
I went into the Baybrook to find a product my stylist suggested. Normally I shop at the Kemah store.A young lady helped me look for the product. Unfortunately, there was no conditioner. She was polite and I thanked her for her helpM. I went back to that same aisle to take another look just in case the product was over looked. Then decided to look at another product line altogether. Another young lady approached and asked if she could help. I asked her what products would she suggest. I selected those products. I then went down another aisle to find a leave in conditioner for ethnic hair.Another woman approached speaking to someone on her earpiece trying to clarify what product they needed etc.Now by this time my husband became uncomfortable, it seemed everywhere we where there was an Ulta employee. When I shop @ the Kemah store they are super helpful but this was different. Finally we decided lets just pay and leave. I must admit I became annoyed by that point. We were standing in line and I forgot something I wanted to purchase. I said to my husband stay here and stand with your hands up.As I was looking for the concealer I heard the cashier saying my name. She told my husband she could start checking me out. Excuse me maam I was still shopping! So I just decided to check out. The cute lil cashier told me not forget to use my Ulta rewards Mastercard. And I Did!She was cute but not really.I will be returning all the merchandise tomorrow. I will take my business to the Kemah store. Fun Fact the longer I stay in store the more I BUY! I love my Ulta reward points.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Rene the “elite stylist” there. Told me one, I should go somewhere else and see what they say basically and they proceeded to tell me hair stylist doesn’t know what she’s doing. I am platinum blonde. I have had my hair done for years by the same person. My hair is shiny and full of volume with out any product. She said my hair is damaged because it doesn’t have any elasticity. If your hair is stretchy that means is damaged. She clearly didn’t know what she was talking about and was very rude. I asked her if she could show me a picture of what she was trying to do to my hair and she told me no she couldn’t and that she really didn’t have the time and quoted me three different prices and every time I asked her a question the price went up. From $165-$300. I have never been so disappointed. And this was my first time ever even considering having my hair done at an Ulta. Definitely lost a customer. And to be clear. It’s not the price I’m upset about. It’s the fact that she acted like she didn’t have time to answer my questions couldn’t even try and show me a picture to explain what she was doing. Treated me like I was stupid. Told me my stylist didn’t know what she was doing which is very unprofessional in its self. And made me feel like she was just trying to get paid! Ulta if this is your “elite” stylist. I’m scared.
I had the best customer service with an associate named Kimana. Everything she recommended worked out perfectly. Best assistance I’ve received in the years I’ve shopped at ulta. She showed me the best products and kept me under my budget. For once someone wasnt just trying to sell me the most expensive thing in the store. Her assistance was so awesome I called to store (which I NEVER do) to leave a compliment with the manager on duty, who apparently name is Kim as well? Anyway. I call and speak to her and this manager literally just told me ok and then we had a awkward silence on the phone. Im a manager myself and I’m sorry but if a customer went out of their way to actually leave a good review for one of my employees I would say a lot more than just ok…. Only reason I’m not leaving 5 stars is due to the lack of emotion and overall just lack of care from management. This rockstar employee is about to transfer to the Pasadena location and I am more than willing to drive out of my way just to get that kind of customer service. Hopefully management at the other store will be more appreciative of their employees work ethic and efforts. Like I said. Haven’t had this kind of customer service in a long time at ulta.

I love coming here and they always have most of everything in stock compared to other locations such as Pearland thats why I come here . But today I was in this store and was in the back where the salon hair care is just browsing, minding my own business and one of the hairdressers with bleached blonde hair, dark roots, average kinda thin, Hispanic comes around the corner then runs back and just starts laughing and snickering acting like a teenager. I was so confused because Im not dressed trashy or anything shes just childish and unprofessional. Its embarrassing, if the next time I go in and she acts like that I will confront her. I dont know her and would prefer to not be harassed when shopping here. Shes always acting that way .

The store was big. Spacious and organized. This was the first time visiting since they relocated and no one offered any help me find what I was looking for but they were friendly at check out.
The manager was very rude and unwelcoming right off the bat. I noticed she was rude to other customers too. My cashier was nice though, so I just went ahead and got my stuff, because it’s not like me to make a scene. I will not be returning though, because I believe a store’s manager should set an example for the rest of her team.. and not be so rude and unhelpful to everyone. Do better🙂
Just had my hair done by Lauren in the salon. She did an AWESOME job! She took her time and made sure that my color was blended perfectly. All of the products she used smelled so good and left my hair soft and healthy. Very good precautions for COVID - everything was very clean, sanitized between each person. Overall fantastic experience!
I generally have poor experiences here at the Baybrook store and today was no exception. Staff is not very helpful and seem to not care whether you are there or not. They consistently put sale signage up on items that are not on sale. If it wasnt for my niece wanting to go there, I wouldnt waste my time.
Spent $300 on a keratin straightening service only to have curly frizzy hair again three days later. really really really horrified. I only go to ulta and I don’t know if I will after this.
The only reason I give it a two star rating is because Jaelyn. She is very rudely sarcastic, I walked into the store to grab a eyebrow pencil from the morphe section. Stood in line and was pleased at the social distance markings and how neat the store was. When I get to the register to check out she asks me for my number I recite my telephone number to her. As she rings my product up she says the total which was more than the price on display. I then tell her the price on display wasn’t the same price then she say would you like to show me with a neck pop as if in she knows I’m wrong. We then discover it was just a product misplaced in the wrong area. As we walk back over to the register she checks me out and finishes the transactions and when thanking me she gave me the most nasty look. Which is crazy because I seen her give a customer before me great customer service. Makes you wonder.
Today I went to get my eyebrows waxed and tinted (Id never tried either service before from anywhere). I had no expectations and was really only doing it because I hit Diamond level and got a $25 off a Beauty Service coupon, but I was SO pleasantly surprised at how it turned out. Here are the high points:1.) I was a few minutes late due to the weather and the brow stylist, Crystal R. didnt say anything about it, but greeted me and actually apologized to ME instead because she had started walking around to help customers in my absence.2.) She answered all my questions and was patient when I didnt know the answers to her questions. I even had to look up my appointment to make sure I booked the right service and she didnt rush me at all.3.) The waxing was not even close to painful like I had for some reason imagined, but maybe it was because Crystal was so friendly and talked to me the entire time, asking me how I am and if I have holiday plans, and then answering those same questions if I asked her back.4.) I was worried, again for no reason, that my eyebrows would look entirely different or mishapen or just awful after getting them waxed and tinted, but they did not! I like the shape and the color she picked out. They were a little thicker and darked than Im used to filling in, but she had assured me ahead of time that the darkness and thickness were only temporary because the tint is only meant to last a few weeks on the brow hairs, but no more than a day if you wash your face and shower on your actual brows skin. She was right! I washed my face and my brows looked a lot more natural and still fuller than before I went in for the service.5.) She even answered my questions after the appointment was over while I was shopping around for brow products because I was so happy about the experience that I honestly would trust whatever she recommended me.I hope she reads this because it was so wonderful that I will definitely come back to her! If you ever want brow services, please book with her!!!!

This location always has everything in stock and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Way better than the baybrook location. They always try to ignore you and when they help they end up ditching you for another customer. The pasadena location is awesome.

So today i went to the store for the pickup but there is no one to say welcome 😒. I know the pickup spot so i stood there but still no one showed up then i call the lady on the counter so she very rudely said someone is coming no welcome nothing again . Then a employee come again no welcome 🙁 i get my stuff and thankfully she said thank you and i left, normally wherever i have a pickup i roam around the store and pick 2 3 more items as ulta is one of my fav beauty store but not the baybrook store anymore .

Ulta is a great place to shop!! They are a lot to ensure safe shopping, with distancing, hand sanitizers available everywhere, recommending before & after touching for example fragrance sampling. However there is not samples for what they had in the past for lipsticks and shadows and foundations etc. due to the COVID pandemic which is a wise precaution for your safety & the safety of their staff. They also offer curbside pickup. Get the app to keep up on sales & promotions.

This was my first time to visit the new Ulta in Baybrook area. What a gorgeous store! First, they are very much sticking to the social distancing practice and making sure everyone who walks in their store knows their new company policies( made me feel safe and happy). They were very low on all their products because their last shipment was in January. But, even with that...there was still plenty in stock. My daughter and I were so happy to be there and check out all the different brands. Highly recommend anyone to visit this location.

I went in to but a specific product thinking it was the best choice for what i needed. After consulting with Anita, she recommended a different product which was a bit pricier but she assured me it would give me the results i was looking for. It has been a week since that visit and i must say i noticed a difference in my skin and tone just 3 days after i using her recommended products! As a guy, i understand that sometimes we can’t expect the products that women use to do what we need it to do before it plateaus and we don’t see results anymore! So far i am pleased and have received compliments on my skin since using the products Anita suggested! Thanks so much Anita, Ulta will not be my go to for products!

Only one kind employee helped me choose a shampoo and conditioner. Every time I come here the employees never greet you nor smile at you. It makes me feel unwelcome like “ugh girl what are you doing in our store you don’t belong here” vibes. Never coming here again.
Went there to return an item I purchased online. The check out lines were very confusing and no real direction on where to wait. I got in line where I thought it started but was told the line starts at the back of the store along the wall. They have a lot of different products to choose from..too many in my opinion and no employees there to help you decide what to buy. The prices are high for the small sizes offered.

I am so over this location! Two weeks I physically witnesses 3 associates at the counter giggling and talking about their past weekend shenanigans instead of greeting me much less assist while I stand in line. Finally, someone had to come off of the floor to assist me. As I’m walking away another customer walks up and all three of the associates rushed over eager to assist her. Today, I called and I asked if they sell a particular item. They told me yes but they were out of stock and if I came into the store they’d order it for me and have it mailed to me (this of course was after I was put on hold three times and was on the phone a total of 10 minutes). I did just that only to be told that they don’t carry this item in the store nor can they order it on their website therefore, they cannot ship it to me. I will never shop the store again! Ever! Some of the crappiest customer service I’ve experienced!

This is the most awful store,even though its closer to my home I avoid it like the plague. Against my better judgement,I tried this store again and was even more disappointed than the last time. Truly,I would say their customer service skills are lacking but it seems they just dont have any. So much for offering curbside so customers can socially distance if they dont deliver and you still have to go inside the store to get your items. I tried calling them multiple times,no answer however when I go in the store,theres numeros ppl by the phone and Im then told MY CALLS DIDNT GO THROUGH.

Echoing the review from one month ago. I used to come to Ulta because someone would help me find the right product for my needs. I still use the same brands from years ago when they used to be helpful. Now you are completely ignored. On my recent trip, the associates will say excuse me to rush past so fast that I cant even stop them to ask for help. They dont even ask if everything is fine as I checked out. Even at the front the only thing that was asked was for my phone number. I think this is my last time shopping at Ulta. I can get better service and help online.

As of January 2020, this store is gorgeous! Everything is well organized and clean, the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, and they easily carry a lot more brands than other Ulta locations in the area. This Ulta will be my main go to from now on for sure.
I had an awful experience at this location! I can not believe how rude the entire staff was there. I came in today to do an return from my online order and the lady could not be any less helpful! She was so rude and had attitude at the fact that I was returning it and she asked why and I explained it was too light of a color and she replied with well your pretty tan to even pick this color. Then when I went to go look for another product I asked for help and they were apparently too busy to even help. Also the staff has no manners in customer service on saying welcome and goodbye. I always have loved Ulta but now I will switch to sephora because why would I buy fromA store who is so rude and unhelpful. This store needs a whole new stuff with people who actually like makeup and people, and want to help the customers.

I work in healthcare and tend to work long shifts and with covid going on I never have time to go to any stores because they all close early. I happened to leave work early and placed a Pickup order here at this location. I got out of work at 5 and made it to this Ulta at 5:48. There was an employee standing out side who said they were close and I told her your website states you close at 6 and I’m just picking up an order then she referred me to do curbside, so I did. An employee named McKenzie really helped me out. She could’ve easily turned me away since the order wasn’t ready but in stead she picked everything out and brought it to me quickly. Thanks Girl for your great customer service!

So she sees customers, just thinks certain people are worth greeting and others are not.I have three in my family that need skincare and hair care, I am also a beauty product lover and collector and spend thousands in a years time. Definitely not spending it here though, as the shop assistants seem to think I don’t rate and my money is no good.
This was a very disappointing trip to Ulta. I was hoping that after they moved that the new location would be the same as the old location which was quite large full of really super helpful associates wanting to play with make up and help you find what you need. But no this new store is significantly smaller than the old store and they no longer have many of the brands that I was introduced to buy alter associates but they no longer carry them. For example butter of London they make several products that I really like their lip stick their eye bro stuff and they no longer sell butter of London just like they got rid of malley they no longer sell malley they do have very large selection of it products and skin care products at all price points. There were many associates on the floor mostly talking to themselves any I mean each other twice I had to seek out someone to help me find what I was looking for. I will go back and I will also try some of the other locations somewhat near me.

I had a 520 appointment and the brow lady called in and no one called to tell me. Then they want me to reschedule a whole week later.
Large selection of cosmetics and hair and skin care products, but no samples and the employees are hit and miss. They ran out of birthday gifts and gave me the run around.
