Mazda has a clean and comfortable waiting room. I like that they send you a video of the car service being done so you can see with your own two eyes what is being repaired. Dealership service centers are always more expensive than your local mechanic, but I like the peace of mind it gives me to have my Mazda services done by the same place I purchased my vehicle.
I had my first servicing and it was fine. More importantly, I also bought and serviced my last car at Wellesley Mazda. The people are really nice, the technicians do excellent work. When it took awhile for a part to come in they gave me a loaner. You also get a voucher for a free car wash, which is just down the road every other time you go there. I highly recommend them!

I called Wellesley Mazda expecting to get run around about a recall that was fixed and failed again. Instead of saying we are not responsible they said the earliest app was a week away. I arrived on time they fixed problem while I watched TV and I as out the door. I was quoted 2 hrs to get tire plugged at big tire store. Mazda fixed a very technical issue with zero headaches. I would recommend this service dep. to anyone . I dealt with John and he was nothing but professional
It was easy to get an appointment at a convenient time. The waiting area was very nice and the car was ready on time. The staff was very experienced and pleasant. I had a general checkup done, with everything tested. I would recommend this Mazda business place.
Kept me informed, including with a video. Provided me with a loaner car when the service was going to take longer than planned because my brakes needed major work. Comfortable waiting area and outdoor picnic tables for those like me who dont want to sit inside during COVID.
Great communication and friendly staff. The online tool they use to approve repairs is great and I really loved the video explanation of the work that needed to be done. Actually seeing the places where parts were worn really helped me understand the work needed.
I definitely recommend. I had only known of 1 recall on my car and it was supposed to just take a day to repair. Turns out there were 3 recalls! They gave me a loaner to use in the meantime and it ended up taking around 3 days. They called me everyday to let me know what was going on with my car. I loved the loaner too so that was totally okay with me. I ended up getting a text from Mazda with a link to see what exactly was done which was informative!
Everyone greats you the moment you walk in as if you were the only customer on earth. Amazing feeling.I went in for a foreign noise coming from the rear driver side. Upon inspection they found the problem and sent me a short video of my car up on the lift while the mechanic (who I also met in person and he too was great) described the issue, the solution plus any other recommendations.Mazda Wellesley has earned my trust and will see me there when I need car service! I bought my first car from Wellesley Mazda in 2017. My father recommended them, and he had bought 6 cars from them over the years! Both he and I have had great experiences there. My father died in August, and the service staff were wonderful about servicing my late fathers vehicle and extending their condolences for the loss - they knew us by name, which means a lot!I have two vehicles that I bring for service. Every time they are efficient, honest, and they work hard!I had a very negative experience from a Toyota dealership in my past, where they would fake problems just to make the customer pay money for unnecessary service. Wellesley Mazda is a breath of fresh air compared to that! They are honest about what needs to get done and they never inflate their prices. I recommend them 100%. So much so, that I intend on trading my late fathers car in to buy a second vehicle for myself... and Wellesley Mazda is the only dealership I will go to!
Always the friendliest people in service. I work with dealerships in marketing (not this one to be clear, just a customer this time) and the most negative reviews usually come from service departments, this service department over the last 5 years since buying my car from them has always impressed me. They know customer service and the familiar faces keep me driving from Quincy to Wellesley for service routinely.
Always friendly and professional, and they do an excellent job with our scheduled maintenance. (If it matters, we purchased our car from them.) It is sometimes hard to get an appt. on short notice -- for ex., to check and/or replace a flat tire.
Had an excellent experience overall. My CPO Mazda3 was in for its scheduled no-cost maintenance covered under the warranty. It was amazing to get a live video stream of the tech working on my car and narrating. John in service was professional and helpful. They have a waiting room for service customers but it could be a bit more welcoming and comfortable (Keurig out of service etc.) They do give you the option of using the showroom waiting area, but I would have preferred the service waiting room. What matters most is quality of car repair, and that was completely satisfactory. Will return.

SCAM!!!After we moved to the burbs I took my car here because is closer than my regular Wakefield dealership.I was told car needed breaks $$$, that was a surprise!!! This is my second lease with Mazda and never before I was told that on the first year of the lease. I said don’t do it, I’ll come back.. surprise surprise.. took the car to Wakefield and of course I DON’T need what Wellesley was saying!!! I rather drive to Wakefield and get a honest and great customer service.
I have purchased a used 2016 Toyota Camry. Alvin, the salesman, was very polite and gave me NO pressure at all. He filtered 3 cars that fit my budget, we performed a test drives. I later went home to think about what car I want to purchase and check whether the price was fair. After reconciling all my questions, I came next day and purchased the vehicle. It was great experience over all.

So far I have had to visit them twice. Once for a nail in tire and once for an oil change. Both services were completed in reasonable time and at average rates. The waiting room was being re-done on my last visit so it should be fresh and new for my next one.
Called for an appointment a week in advance. The service guy on the phone said it will take 2h+. I said we will wait. Then I check on a loaner car. He said it will cost $15/d. I said I will not take the car and he set the appointment. A week later, I bring the car for the service and decide to wait. The service said the car will be in for the whole day. I said that’s not how it was scheduled, that I will wait for 2h+. He said he documented everything. Obviously he was ignorant or there was a miscommunication. He did not care, and had no willingness to help, and ride too. We will never return to this service again!! Worth Mazda service center in MA! Period!

My wife and I had a pleasant experience buying our CX-9 from Wellesley Mazda. All the folks, right from the sales staff (Krystal Miller) to the finance and delivery teams, were professional and courteous.I personally like the Mazda model of having a small set of really good cars for their customers to choose from. And I think Wellesley Mazda serves that model really well.I would recommend Mazda and specifically Wellesley Mazda to folks looking to buy a new car.

Truly recommend buying a car here! I went to a few different dealerships as we needed a reliable car without breaking the bank. Had a great experience with Sophia Tiburcio, who answered all my questions and gave me a lot of options. Sophia was communicative, helpful, knowledgably and patient. We went on a few test drives with different cars and after some time I finally made my choice. You can’t beat the price or the service!Sophia was great with discussing different payment options and I really felt like I was taken care off. The paperwork process was fairly quick and kudos to Will Smith for answering a hundred questions. The dealership is great and I have had a great experience with everyone there from Sales to Finance to Service departments. When I came to pick up the car the registration was taken care off between my insurance and Sophia, truly a Turn Key experience and a time saver! Big thanks to Greg, Rodrigo and Alex as well. Purchased my car at Wellesley Mazda and have been going here exclusively for service. I have had numerous issues with the service quality here. Had an appointment for an oil change and to also replace my defective CMU unit. They replaced the CMU unit but forgot to do the oil change. By the time I noticed the same oil change sticker was on my window I was 10 mins away and had to call them to confirm the oil change never happened and then drive back in rush hour traffic for them to finish the service. At an earlier service appointment while my car was still under warranty I was getting a loud humming noise from my HVAC system and asked them to take a look. They were pretty dismissive of my concern and didnt do anything to rectify the issue which is still happening and my car is now out of warranty. Im sure now that it is out of warranty they would be more than happy to take an extensive look and charge me for it. The icing on the cake is when I went to pick up my car the glove box was disassembled and sitting on the passenger side floor. Whoever was working on the car didnt even bother to put it back together.Yes they are always very apologetic but being apologetic isnt a substitute for wasting someones time and not paying attentions to details. I prob wouldnt buy a car from here again knowing I would have to deal with this service department.

Tried to sell me a car with manipulated mileage...I went to Wellesley Mazda with interest in purchasing a used volvo v50 t5 awd with a manual transmission which turned out to be a LEMON. The salesman was very kind however not very helpful with little to no knowledge on the car itself and its current state. I negotiated and put a refundable deposit down on the car pending an inspection from a 3rd party mechanic and thought I had made it clear that the price was open ended pending the results, I dont trust dealerships and this cements that sentiment. The mechanic pulled a manipulated mileage from the cars computer as well as a slew of other errors and also said the car desperately needed new belts.I brought this information back to dealership and. They treated the mileage manipulation ad a non-issue, I was baffled. If they had come down on the price to cover the repairs I would have most likely purchased the car and just ran it into the ground as you would never be able to trade it in to any reputable dealership with the manipulated mileage. The sales manager was extremely quick to get angry once he was brought over. I got my deposit back and left.Do not buy from Wellesley Mazda.
I scheduled an appointment with the service department because of a recall notice I received. The recall specified that the Takata Airbag Inflation System could possibly detonate under some specific circumstances, blasting metal shards into the cabin. I only mention this because of the almost comical severity of the need to have this repaired.While I was there, I had mentioned that I was hearing skipping in my compression cycles (I drive a 2011 RX8, rotary engine), and that Id like to have a compression test done while its in there for the recall.Fast forward, I was told that the engine had failed. Dealership was going to replace the coils, plugs, and wires, and I agreed to have the warranty company release the funds. Warranty company called and told me they were now asking for an entire engine replacement, but hadnt called me to tell me.Long story short, the warranty company authorized a complete replacement of the engine (at 24k miles nonetheless), but the dealership still wanted to charge me ~$1200 out of pocket to replace the aforementioned plugs, coils, and wires, as those were not included in the engine replacement (I didnt and still dont understand this). If the parts are failed parts, the warranty company replaces them. The dealer said they were not failed, just recommended, but would not on good conscience do the engine swap without replacing them, essentially saying were not doing the work unless you pay us the $1200. I told them I couldnt afford that and will take my car back and shop for a better deal if thats the work that needs to be done.Went to get it back, and found out that they hadnt even done the airbag recall work, which is the whole reason I brought it to them in the first place. Had to wait longer, but at least that got done. It also didnt help that the manager found time to come over and explain to me why my cars RPMs can go up to 9k and why that makes the engine finicky and unreliable. It was extremely annoying to have a manager treat me like I didnt know anything about my vehicle, despite my knowledge of the issues I was experiencing.
