Poor communication and lack of knowledge between the person taking the alterations and the actual seamstress. Had to come in repeatedly for the same measurements that werent done correctly the first time. Over charged for alterations. Finally asked the for the seamstress to see the dress on me to get it right. Lack of confidence in them and their attention to detail.

Communication is absolutely atrocious. Due to covid we have had to do some rearranging with our wedding, but I initially took two wedding dresses in on May 12th, one for July 18th and the other for August 29th. I called five times two weeks prior to July 18th and no one got back to me until July 17th, the day before my wedding. It’s a good thing it fit otherwise I would’ve been screwed. They said they were wondering why they hadn’t heard from me and cited “last minute brides” as the reason they couldn’t contact me or get my dress done until the day before my wedding when they had had it for two months.The other dress needed more alterations which was fine given that the wedding was 6 weeks out. And then we had to cancel the wedding but still planned to do wedding pictures on August 29th. I called and left a message saying not to add in the bustle since I wouldn’t get to dance at my wedding and never heard back. Called again a week prior to August 29th, no answer and didn’t hear back. Called again on August 25th because that was the absolute last day I had available to come in for the final fitting and was told my dress wasn’t ready. It was finally finished on August 26th but again, couldn’t go in for a final fitting because I work 7-7 basically and they’re only open a whopping 15 hours during the week. My mom picked up my dress today, August 27th and I haven’t had a chance to try it on yet but I’m not confident that it’s going to fit given that the other dress had adjustments made during the final fitting.

Pins & Needles did a fabulous job of fitting my daughter-in-laws wedding gown. The gown was gorgeous but two sizes too big when we bought it. Lindy did a fabulous job of making it fit perfectly. The turn-around was quick and my daughter-in-law could not have been happier with her dress!

Good work on repairing my jeans. Got it done sooner than they said.

Melind is absolutely amazing and one of the sweetest human beings I think I’ve ever met. I called her at about 4 PM and they close at 5 PM and I needed a mask for a doctors appointment tomorrow morning and she made sure She got one to me. Not the usual mask a face shield. I’m not able to wear a normal mask because of medical issues and this will be absolutely perfect.

They had the bridesmaids dresses 2 months before the wedding but didnt have them done until 4 days before the wedding. When my sister called upset the dresses werent done the lady she spoke with on the phone was very rude.On my sisters wedding day we pulled her dress out of its bag to find multiple blue spots all over her pure white dress.If you want quality and consistency look elsewhere

Nice women, good customer service and awesome work they do. They got the alterations for the dress my niece was going to wear done on time and they were awesome. Could not tell what they had removed. I would recommend these ladies to anyone who needs work done.

Very friendly, knowledgeable staff. The turn around time was a bit more then I was expecting as was the price but the quality of the work was excellent.

First off my fiancee went in for a consultation about her wedding dress and the woman started cutting before anything was agreed on.Second they lost her dress and never returned our phone calls for 3 weeks causing us to postpone our wedding. Staff would not own up to making the mistake but did admit they filed the dress under the wrong name.Staff was rude and done a poor job. Our wedding was 6-21 and we finally got her dress back on the 29th. Use caution with this company.

I had a bad experience at this place a little over 8 months ago. I brought in roughly 8 scrub tops and four bottoms to be taken in. They quoted me a couple weeks which ended up taking over a month. When they finally called me to tell me they were finished, I looked in the bag to find only two scrubs had been altered. These are my work uniforms that I have been without for not only two weeks but over a month. And the staff was rude about it. So they finished them within a couple days and I could tell they were done fast because all of them are different sizes. 3 are ruined which costs over $100 plus their prices for alterations because they were taking in too small. Some fit well. All the scrub bottoms never did fit. When I did first got fitted she very quickly and bluntly told me to change and she put the pins into the pants, within a matter of a min and was done.The shirts I had template for. I would never recommend this place. The whole situation was uncomfortable and she acted like I was a burden, even though I am a paying customer.

They saved the day for me, i called saying the zipper broke on my bridesmaid dress two days before i had to leave for the wedding, they kept the store open so i could drop it off and then had it repaired by the time they opened the next day!!! And it didnt cost an arm and a leg. Totally recommending this place to anyone I know!!

Saved me on my wedding dress alteration mess from another venue. I was unable to voice how I wanted the bottom of the trumpet portion of my wedding dress to the first venue even after months of fittings. I was in tears 3 days before my wedding and a friend sent me to Pins & Needles. I walked in, showed them my dress, told them what I wanted, put my dress on, and 4 ...count them...4 hours later had the dress I had always dreamed I would be getting married in...in my possession! And at a fraction of the cost the other venue charged. That was in 2003. I still continue to ONLY take any and ALL alterations here. There place is a little hard to find at first but worth the hunt! :-D ★★★★★

They were really nice to your face but really bad with communicating. I sent my wedding dress in and a month later they called me to tell me that all the marks they had on my dress were gone and I had to come back in to do another fitting TWO WEEKS before my wedding. Arrived there and found out that they had hardly done any of the alterations I had asked for even though it had been there for a MONTH. Then the next day she calls me and tells me that the dress was done....it was a really frustrating experiance. Thier work was nice but if I were you Id go somewhere else.
