Mr. Alberto was able to expedite my request and perform an amazing job. My issue was quite work intensive and demanding. The issue involved the replacement of front bearings which were worn down and caused my vehicle to shake when in use. As of today, my car drives brand new. I would highly recommend A+ transmission.

I definitely recommend this place! My car was having transmission problems the month before I was supposed to start college and I was very worried that it wouldn’t be fixed on time. Luckily, my dad found this place and Alberto had my car fixed right on time. My car now runs beautifully. Alberto and his workers are very transparent, friendly, and professional. He always kept me updated on what was happening with my car and his prices were very reasonable considering the state of my transmission. I highly recommend A-Plus Transmissions. I took my SUV to them back in feb for repairs.they gave me 6 months warranty.My transmission started to act up again this time we took it to Ed payne in weslaco, ed payne waisted 4 weeks and did nothing to our Suv, and to do repairs they were charging alsmot 3,500. We had to tow iit over to APlus. Aplus had it ready inless than 2 weeks. My Suv is running even better than before. . I highly recommen APluse

My Ford Escape was Shuddering when reaching 50 mph. I thought it was a transmission problem so I searched for a transmission shop on google. I found A-Plus Transmissions and took my SUV in. They were very attentive to my problem and diagnosed it promptly. Even though it was not a transmission problem, they have excellent mechanics and fixed my problem within the same day. I found their pricing to be very reasonable and their customer service was excellent. I highly recommend this shop for all automotive needs!

I had my 2003 Ford Explorer worked on here due to the transmission not moving anymore. I did not know who to take my vehicle too since I had never run into this problem. I did my research and found out about A-Plus Transmission & Auto Repair in Weslaco. I called and spoke to Magda and she was extremely helpful over the phone and set up an appointment immediately for that morning to have my vehicle checked. BEST mechanic. My mother has been taking her car to Beto for years - he is always professional and goes out of his way to help my mom with car issues she encounters. After my father passed, I feel at ease that my mom has a mechanic she can go to that is both knowledgeable and provides great prices.

Someone recommend me this place, and took my car for a transmission problem i paid around $2k and i was always on time with my payments and they took over 1 year to fix a transmission! Giving me excuse after excuse, i only drove my car for a few days next day my car was not working at all...Find other place to take your car people

One of, if not the best experience, with a car mechanic Ive ever had. We were 8 hours away from home on a holiday weekend. They still took my car in to check it out. They were kind enough to give us a ride to a store and then took us to our hotel, since we had no vehicle to get around. Work was done by 10am the next morning, they came to pick us back up from our hotel to pick up the car, and it cost a fraction of what other places would have charged me. Amazing people, great work.

Took my 3500 gmc dully in for air conditioner issue. I was told up front there would be a minimal diagnosis fee plus parts. A part was suspected but in the fire ball analysis, it turned out to be a loose wire. They could have sold me parts and labor but explained the issue and I was on my way. Very honest and professional. A refreshing experience. I will use them again when wintering in the valley.

A-Plus Transmission has been taking care of my 2004 Toyota for about 5 years. I went to them following a recommendation from another mechanic.Mr. Vela, Mrs. Ybarra and all the workers are very polite and professional. One night I got stranded and called him after hours. He came and helped me out, for which I am very appreciative.They have always done a fantastic job in my vehicle, which now is over 219,000 miles and running!They deserve not 5 but 10 stars for their dedication and professionalism!

Car locked up one day and after one call Alberto showed up at my office to look into it. He towed it out of there at a cheap price and didnt waste any time figuring out the problem. Within a few days I had an estimate and ended up spending much less than I thought I would. He even opened up my transmision right in front of me and showed me the damages, felt like I was dealing with family. 👍 2010 Corolla driving better than ever!

I DROVE my truck there to have my transmission issues. I was told there would be a $25 dollar charge for a computer diagnostic. With that diagnosis they would tell me what the problem would be. Beto called me to go in and when I arrived he had taken off the transmission pan and said that he had to do a $215 RDI (remove dismantle inspect) to find out what was wrong with the transmission. Beto told me that if after performing RDI I didn’t want to go forward with the repairs, I could opt out and take my truck. Long story short he took my transmission apart and he didn’t want to put it back together. He told me he would, but just didn’t know when he could get around to it. I had to pull my truck to another mechanic. Beto is a dishonest person that takes advantage of people!! He will dismantle your transmission so you’ll have no choice but to fix it with him. He didn’t even allow me to take parts so I could save some money. He told me that he marks up the parts 70% because that’s how he makes money. My trucks only issue was a hard shift. Now it won’t run at all!!!!

As a person with very little knowledge of auto mechanics, I can say that Beto is the only auto service shop that I trust to offer great service at a great price. I have been bringing my vehicles to Beto and his staff for nearly 10 years and I won’t go anywhere else to have my BMW services. Thanks Beto!!

Took my car there paid almost 1900 just for it to mess up 3 months later I took it back they took 6 months to fix it again and 5 months later guess what its messing up again so I highly dont recommend this place .

I took my truck with these men because they had recommended them to me, they took 1 year !! In fixing my truck, and they would not let me take it out because they always gave him an excuse that he lacked gas, breaks and I dont know that much, they also wanted to charge me for other services that I NEVER asked him and when they took me they were upset I just used my truck 2 times the 3rd day it turned on, dont go here
