Overall an Excellent place to grab all your cables, connectors...etc. They have MANY items other places do not and the prices are reasonable..ALL OF The staff is Top Of The Line, Friendly and very helpful. Especially Scott and Chandler. The level of customer service they give are a rarety these days. They are EXTREMELY Knowledgeable, exercises professional patience and ensures that you have ALL that you need prior to leaving.

Wow! Okay. This review is current, as today is Friday, August 20, 2021 and I visited this business on Thursday, August 19, 2021. I get my hair cut, when Im in Columbia, at Old Fashioned Barber Shop on Leaphart Road, the same road that Cable & Connections is located on. Wednesday night, a four month old Yorkie decided that he wanted to chew into the data cable for my television and Internet services from AT&T. I tried to splice it to no avail. I went to WalMart and they either didnt sell or have that type of cable. As soon as I finished getting my hair cut Thursday, I stopped by Cable & Connections, with the damaged cable in hand. The gentleman there was very polite but said that the cable could not be repaired. He sold me a similar cable and even switched the wiring to mimic the damaged cable. He only charged me $3.00. That cable did not work. I called AT&T and they wanted $99.00 for a service call, even though I told them that I knew what the problem was. The earliest that they could come would have been Sunday, August 22, 2021. I went back to Cable & Connections, after calling and speaking to a representative who was working remotely, with both ends of the damaged cable. The gentleman who served me this time took the longer end of the cable and put a connector on it and charged me, maybe $4.00. He wasnt going to charge me that, but I insisted. The repaired cable worked fine! This place is AWESOME! If you need ANYTHING in this line, this is your go-to place! I cant say enough great things! Thank you Cable & Connections!

Purchased a 16 channel cctv power supply.It failed in 3 months.David was great over the phone.David set me up with a warranty replacement ticket over the phone and told me to call when I arrived in the morning to swap out the bad unit.When I arrived I was told that David was wrong about the swap out for a new replacement and that I had to buy a new unit before I could get a credit for the failed unit. I was also told that the credit may take over a week before I would see it on my credit card.I asked for my receipt back, left the failed unit and drove back home.I have successfully purchased a fan cooled unit from a competitor that is working great at this time.I cant believe the staff member at the door would be rude over a warranty issue but he was.Needless to say I will not be back.Thanks to David for trying to do the right thing. Suggest the rest of your staff learns from you.

Had an issue with a 24v DIN rail power supply in a hospitals medical vacuum control cabinet. I called every electrical supply company within 20 miles of Columbia to source a new one ASAP, no one had one except for Cable & Connections. Including my drive across town, I had the new one up and working in less than an hour. Brandon was very helpful. Truly great customer service and last minute lifesavers.

As it becomes more difficult to find a store that can actually answer questions about what they sell, this store has maintained three things in the 15 + years I have been a satisfied customer..... Cable, Connections, & People. There willingness to actually spend time to understand what you need is unmatched.

Fine folks, and a good supply in general. While retail prices arent as low as youll find at an online/ecommerce site, these guys stock a little of EVERYTHING and a lot of the common tech things. security systems, audio/video, and anything IT - they got it.

The guys (and gal or two) who work their all are worth their weight in gold. I can depend on these guys to get me what I need, and sometimes learn me what I need when I dont know where to turn. Im not worried about these guys going out of business. Once you walk in, shop and talk, youll see why.

I was just in one of your stores on Leaphart rd West Columbia. We were in need of cable wires to finish a job. We live 40 miles away and no-one had the cable we needed. They were out of that type, but John said he would show us how to put on a connector end. We could do it ourselves since they did not have any one available at that time. He did show me but I guess he noticed the confusion on my face. He took the time out to do the do it for me. Thank you so much for showing great customer service. We were able to finish the job.

Above any average service. Came in to get a replacement psu for my hard drive as i didnt wanna wait for snail mail. They helped me figure out what would work best and tested various power bricks to see what would do. This is after two previous stores told me to order online mind you; they labeled it a specialty part. After testing a couple psu bricks to no avail we finally came across the notion of a whole new enclosure for my HDD. Wham bam it worked; with the added benefit of them doing damn near the whole transfer and installation. I cannot attest their commitment to customer satisfaction enough. Especially them being truely intrigued and knowledgeable about the whole process all at once. Will be comming back for more.

Let these professionals be your first and only stop. I have been in a few times and they always have plenty of employees to help you. Today the automotive shops that I work at scan tool power supply stopped working. The manufacture said it would take a week to get a new one so I called around to all the big stores and all I got was long holds then everyone told me they didnt know if they had what I needed I would need to bring it in to match it up. Well this didnt happen with Cable Connections they answered the phone and within 2 minutes they told me they had what I needed and to bring my tool in to test it. Sure enough I show up and I am immediately taking care of the set up the charger to my to and verify it charged plus the charger they sold me had and adapter for to plug into the cigarette lighter. So when I got back to the shop I didnt have to wait for it to charge plug it in the car it was charging and was able to diagnose the car. Awesome guys and gals there, Thanks a bunch
